    By: David Felix | - The new movie channel Epix owned by Viacom, MGM and Lionsgate signed a distribution deal with Cox Communications on Monday, Jan. 11.
    The high-definition simulcast of Epix was launched on October 30, 2009 distributed by Verizon Communications FiOS TV service.
    Cox is the second distributing partner for Epix and they are still negotiating with other operators to carry the new movie channel.
