Charlie's Angels (DVD) Review By: Britt Gillette Long before Magnum, PI put Tom Selleck on the map, Charlie's Angels owned the world of TV private eyes. Nominated for 4 Emmys and 7 Golden Globes, including 2 for Best TV Series - Drama, Charlie's Angels was a truly rare overnight sensation. Scented candles are a favorite of most people because they create a clean smell, the smell of home, or even the smell of the season with scented Christmas candles and such. Candles are so universal that they are used just about everywhere, such as work, home, and there are even wedding candles that are a great addition to any wedding decorating scheme. Highly scented candles are quite popular ... Tags: home, garden, crafts
God's Eight Healing Delivery Vehicles By: Dr. Jay Snell You can be healed and there are "Eight Healing Delivery Vehicles" God will use to do it for you. One of these ways requires no faith on the part of the one being healed. This is healing by the anointing.
The other seven requires one of more acts of faith on the part of the one being healed and/or the one ministering the healing. Of these two, faith is by far the most dependable.
Golf At Its Best By: Susie Drake Arguably, the most coveted victory in professional golf is the presentation of the green jacket to the winner at the Masters Tournament. This year the tournament will be held April 3-9 and, as always, will be at Augusta National Golf Club in the beautiful state of Georgia. It is an event that has evolved since its beginning in 1934. The Masters-a vision of golf at its best and most competitive-began with Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts and continues today.
How To Be a Dog Whisperer By: Albert TAY What is a "Dog Whisperer"? Since the success of Monty Roberts, the Horse Whisperer, it seems to be a title almost anyone can brand themselves with - so long as they are not Horse Whisperers (that one is owned and trademarked by Monty Roberts). Whatever Happened to Helen Hunt After Making What Women Want? By: Ed Bagley What Women Want is a romantic comedy light enough to float away. Helen Hunt is a real talent with real hardware and seemed so on top of her game after the release of What Women Want in 2000. Heck, I figured, move over Julia Roberts and hello Helen Hunt as America's newest sweetheart, but Hunt did Cast Away with Tom Hanks and then returned to Broadway. The two rising stars today are Reese Witherspoon and Hilary Swank. Tags: Mel Gibson, Helen Hunt, Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, Hilary Swank, What Women Want, P
These Two Films Create Confusion or Unbelievably Overblown Drama By: Ed Bagley Ocean's Eleven is a confusing film about a $160 million heist of three Las Vegas casinos from an impenetrable safe 200 feet underground. Is Ocean's Eleven supposed to be an action flick, a comedy, a crime story or a drama? The Hours features three depressed women from three different generations trying to cope with life, some Academy Award-winning performances and a story line that is even more depressing and repugnant. Nelson and Rachel McAdams, and Mona Lisa Smile with Julia Roberts) and two of which are unpretentious and easy on the eye (Indian Summer with Diane Lane and Unlikely Angel with Dolly Parton) Despite being pure fluff, I would rate the last two better than the first two.
