Martial Arts Science Revealed By Five Elements Posted By: Al Case

That there is a martial arts science is a fact which none can dispute, the sad news is that people hold to art, and refuse the science in their thinking. This science, however, lives and breathes in the fighting disciplines and is described in many of the books, strategies and philosophies of the arts. In this piece of writing we will discuss the distinct progression of arts that will reveal this science.

The universe can easily be seen as five distinct elements. Interestingly, though there can be disagreement as to what actually constitutes a basic element, the science will still, in the final analysis, be revealed. Thus, choose your elements, and apply your arts as is done here, and it will still work.

The first element is air. Air is intaken and used by the body to generate chi energy. Thus, one could do any exercise, yoga is very good, zen is adequate, and begin the transmutation of the universe into personal energy.

The second element one must understand is fire, and this is the generation of chi within the body generator, known as the tan tien, or 'one point.martial arts martial strategy martial philosophy keno

The Ordered Development Of Chi Energy In The Martial Arts Posted By: Al Case

If you think the martial arts are about hitting people, you have the wrong idea. They are about discovering the truth that resides within you, they are about sculpting the energy of your body, they are about exploring your true potential as a human being. This bit of writing is a simple construction of how chi energy builds through the Martial Arts.

I should say, before we begin, that this is idealized. It happens as I say it happens if the art(s) you are studying have not been overly corrupted. Unfortunately, most arts have been corrupted, and only a study of Matrixing will revert them to their true potential.

We begin with Karate because it is simple, and because, having been the first martial art to hit it big in the US of A, Karate styles form an underpinning or basis for most other martial arts, even should they be starkly different in their constitution. The cultures of the world, you see, have gravitated to it, and many people have an underlying philosophy of Karate imbedded in their minds when they study other martial arts.

Karate creates explosive power.qigong chi energy ball chi power chi martial art qi energy

The World Of Five Incredibly Deadly Kung Fu Styles Posted By: Al Case

I love Kung Fu Movies, so a title like Five Incredibly Deadly Kung Fu Styles is most excellent. When you speak of these arts, however, you aren't just discussing cinema. You are delving into incredibly potent regimens that are the most dangerous martial arts on the planet.

These are specific body disciplines which steel the body and make sharp the mind. People who engage in these arts have gone beyond the flesh, and are describing a world towards which mankind hurries with appreciation. Let's consider the five deadly Kung Fu styles.

No particular order to our consideration, let's begin with Shaolin Gung Fu. Inspired by the immortal Bodhidharma, it has become the most powerful influence in the martial arts world. In Shaolin you are talking about the absolute protection of creating an iron body through Golden Bell Training, and the steel fingers that eventually result in Dim Mak (the death touch).

Many arts claim lineage to Shaolin, and Wing Chun Gung Fu is first in line. Sometimes thought of as a 'girly art' because it was founded by a nun, this art shows that being sensitive to an attacker enables one to lay waste to an attacker.Pa kua chang tai chi chuan pa kua chang weapon kenpo

Compiling The Different Martial Arts Styles Into One System Posted By: Al Case

The odd thing is, when we create martial arts styles and systems, we are repeating, and even compounding the errors of those who went before us. This is sort of an inarguable fact that nobody sees or understands. It is this fact that is at the heart of most Martial Arts systems.

The people of yesterday had no technology to draw upon. They didn't have logical methods of thought, or, many times, even any formal education. Thus, their look at martial arts was based on mysticism, and the resulting arts are born of that mysticism.

When some fellow began his study of the martial arts it would be based upon the sword techniques his father learned in the army of (enter some historical name). His father would be old, maybe even a little addled, but he would give his son what he remembered. The result would be a family bonding, and a secret style of ninjitsu, or gung fu, or whatever, would be born.

As time went on, these systems would eventually become known to greater or lesser degree.mma octagon ultimate fighter kenpo taekwondo

The Difference Between Kung Fu And Karate Posted By: Al Case

It's a strange thing that we would think in terms of differences when we consider and compare Kung Fu and Karate, for there are a lot of similarities. They are both martial disciplines, after all, and karate is actually grown from kung fu. To really see the differences, however, one needs to look at the arts as a complete picture, and determine exactly how they evolved.

In the beginning, those beautiful, refined kung fu patterns were most likely constructed by peasant conscripts who were given swords and the order to fight or die. Training methods eventually made their appearance, and eventually workable routines were taught. Is it too much to consider that some of the soldiers, weary and tired of battle, would find their way to the Shaolin monastery, where art as art blossomed?

From the Shaolin Temple the arts spread across China, growing into different concepts and taking on different shapes. This was the advent of such styles as wing chun (vin tsung) kung fu, Long Fist (Choy Lee Fut, Hung Gar, and so on), and the various animal schools (mantis, monkey, dog fist, five animal, and so on).kenpo kicks ed parker kicks bruce lee kicks powerful kicks

Finding That Secret Martial Arts Shaolin Technique! Posted By: Al Case

When I was a child I wanted to learn secret martial arts. I wanted to know those mysterious fighting moves that would enable somebody smaller to smash somebody taller. I wanted to know that hapkido or jujitsu or whatever that would enable me to really trash the bad guys.

I began my study of Ed Parker Kenpo Karate, and the mysteries were at my fingertips. In those whirling movements were hidden fist martial arts, invisible and flaming dragon concepts, and down and dirty, take 'em apart fighting secrets. I was thrilled by the endless forms and techniques...but I couldn't quite figure out the secrets.

From Chinese Kenpo I switched over to classical Karate. There was a secret Karate had, I just knew it in my bones, and I performed the karate kata until my body trembled. In the end, I could grab hold the dojo mat with my feet, and throw that classical power with the best of them, but there was no real secret to it all.

After Karate I made the transition to Kung Fu, with all those systems and variation there had to be a secret Kung Fu that would make me just really unbeatable!secret shaolin kung fu shaolin books shaolin DVD kenpo

He Was Crazy...and He Studied Korean Karate With Me! Posted By: Al Case

I doubt whether most martial arts training halls, be they Gung Fu or Shotokan or Hapkido or whatever, have ever had a crazy guy in their school like Mud Car. We called him Mud Car because that's what his license plates on his car said. That vehicle, more than just about anything else, summed up Mud Car.

He had tied parachute webbing across the insides of his car because he felt that that material was best for holding his car together on the inside. He had fire extinguishers fastened to every surface on the inside of his car. He had a dial on his dashboard to give extra power to his tail lights, and he turned it whenever he faced away from the sun so that drivers behind him could see when he braked.

This was just the surface of Mud Car, though. The most impressive thing that Mud Car did was commit to memory the times of all the stop lights in the whole town of San Jose. He could travel across that large town without ever having to stop for a light.

Unfortunately, when it came to Karate, he was just as crazy.kenpo books online kenpo larry tatum karate forms karate

How Speed Relates To The Overall Picture Of Good And Rare Martial Arts Posted By: Al Case

Whether you study Tae Kwon Do, Kenpo, or that rare Wudan Art from Faroutistan, speed is vitally important to the martial arts. If you are going to get anywhere in freestyle, you must be faster than your foe. Even in the doing of your patterns, speed gives a certain instruction that is necessary to the successful martial artist.

That said, there is another facet to the subject of speed, a facet which embraces the entire martial arts and is the mark of your progress over the decades. This is a side which relates to the speed of the art you are studying, and the speed of what is happening inside your head and in your day to day life. I am talking about the speed at which you execute your art.

The beginner is blown out by the fun of the martial arts, and he races breakneck through his forms. He spends hours tweaking his form, studying the angles of his limb so as to maximize speed of launch. Usually, this process takes about three years, but it can take longer, or lesser, depending on the individual and the art he is studying.kenpo techniques tae kwon do shotokan shotokei shaolin

The Fighting Methods Of The Five Animals Of Shaolin Kung Fu Posted By: Al Case

The Martial Arts, and this includes Shaolin kung fu, are passed on through unique patterns of movement. They are, at heart, a mythology created to represent a unique methodology. They are the science of an ancient time, passed down to us by dance.

Thus, to understand the martial arts, we must ask ourselves what science were the ancients trying to describe. Science is science, however, and I think you will find that the real reasons for the five animals is empirical in nature. Also, you will find that there is a distinct combat reasoning to it all.

The tiger is an aggressive animal, and he goes forward. Claws and teeth, he drags down the runner and tears him apart. Thus, the direction of the Tiger is forward, and all he does is go forward.

The Crane is a lighter animal, giving way with deflection as he sets up and uses the legs. He does not rely on flight, but rather manipulates the attack to set up his kicks. He does not charge, but fights at a certain distance, never never lets that distance close.

The Snake coils and twists and allows the attacker to get close.martial arts enlightenment karate tai chi wudan pa kua

The Truth Behind The Discipline Of Zen Karate! Posted By: Al Case

What do you get out of doing the Martial Arts? What strange abilities can you really discover and awaken? Is there a reality that could be called Zen Karate...or zen aikido, or zen whatever other martial art you might study?

There is a thing called zen, and the best book for describing it is Zen Flesh, Zen Bones. Past that, zen is the experience of yourself, as discovered through specific discipline. My specific discipline and experience was through karate.

The discipline is achieved through the practice of kata and bunkai, and through this discipline you learn to control your body. People who fight just because they like to fight, as in MMA, never experience this discipline. They might know how to do the martial, but they don't know how to do the art.

And, if you can learn to control all the intricacies of your body, you realize that it took control of mind to do so. The struggle to make your body do the things that you want it to do exactly as you want comes from you making your mind do exactly what you want. And now we come to the crux of the situation.kung fu master kung fu techniques kung fu forms hapkido

What If You Could Learn Real Kung Fu In A Couple Of Months? Posted By: Al Case

Interesting concept, eh? Sounds like one of those old Chop Sockie movies, but is it possible? Could it be true that you actually have unlimited abilities, and that you could learn a complete Kung Fu system within a couple of months?

The mind has vast and unlimited potential, you know, and that means that you have infinite abilities. The trick of course, is to figure out a Kung Fu program that loads into your mind in a way that your mind won't reject it. The trick is to find a software program that really works, and that is actually designed to be absorbed by your mind.

Most Martial Arts programs take a long time to learn, and there is a reason for this. Actually, there are several reasons. They all have to do with incorrect data, illogical data, missing data, and that sort of thing that crashes a computer.

First, you must realize that the martial arts are taught using ancient oral traditions. They are passed along by the use of songs and poetry. This is incredibly inefficient, and there is no telling how much data has been lost over the millennium.karate shaolin kung fu wudan martial arts books Kenpo

How Instructors Can Improve Their Martial Arts Abilities! Posted By: Al Case

One of the most shocking things in the martial arts is how instructors stop their own training. By this I mean, after a somebody opens up his own school, they never get any more instruction for themselves. The idea that they hold to is that they know everything, and all they have to do now is polish it, perfect it, and time will be their teacher.

This concept, of course, is ridiculous. Yes, time will make a person better, but what will improve a person faster is getting more data. Imagine a computer which never inputs any further data and my case becomes obvious.

So you need more data if you are going to get better, and you need to make mental connections with other arts. For instance, if you've got a black belt in Karate, a course in Aikido is going to open your mind up. At the end of every karate technique, once you understand what Aikido really is, you can make additional techniques.

And, if you've got some good hard Shaolin, the next step is exploring the internal schools of Wudan.tai chi chuan pa kua chang hsing i wudan shaolin chi

How Wudan Masters Enter The Cosmic Mind! Posted By: Al Case

There is an ancient martial arts concept, that when the student is ready the master will appear. Sounds like a great deal, eh? You get so good that some ancient master pops out of the woodwork and reveals the Secrets of the Golden Scroll!

The truth of what happens, however is not quite as it sounds. In fact, the truth of the matter is an oddity that is hard tobelieve. Let me tell you what really happens.

In the early seventies I was sitting on a cinder block in my backyard, tapping a piece of rebar on the patio and listening to music. Clunk, clung...and the world turned golden and I couldn't tell where the music was coming from. Everything I knew suddenly went by the wayside, and I realized that I had had a moment of enlightenment.

And, about that time, my instructor closed up shop. So, here I was, an enlightened bit of humanity, and I didn't know where to go to get my next lesson. Hey, the student was ready, so when was this doggoned master gonna come along?

Then a bizarre thing happened. People started coming along and telling me what to do.wudan form gung fu online gung fu book online kyokushinka

How I Used Karate To Remove Myself From My Body! Posted By: Al Case

Shade of the Twilight Zone, burn a mystic for Christ, we are about to get out of our bodies. Oooo, floating motes of intelligence, able to waft invisible into bank vaults and bedrooms everywhere! And it is all going to happen through a commonplace martial arts exercise, common in systems of Karate and Kung Fu, and especially wudan arts.

If you can lower the volume of the spooky music for a moment, I'll explain. The out of body experience I am talking about is possible through Horse meditation, what we used to call Kima Chasie. In this article I am going to tell you exactly how to do that exercise, and what is going to happen

Back in the early seventies I was working on my black belt, and I was frustrated with this horse meditation thing. We would stand in the horse stance, one hand in a high block, the other hand in a horizontal, hooked back beak hand. We would concentrate out awareness on our clenched fingertips until our legs shook and sweat burst forth upon our innocent foreheads.

Yet, I knew the two minutes we spent in the drill were insufficient.kyokushinkai power goju book goju instruction goju online

The Secret Of Using Matrix Martial Arts To Read Minds! Posted By: Al Case

There are times in life when it seems as if you have read someones mind. Maybe you just blurt out the same sentence at the same time, or have the same thought on a place to eat. Sometimes, however, it is as if you have looked into somebodys actual thought process and know what they are thinking.

The martial arts enhance this ability, and a good martial art does it in a quite speedy manner. Indeed, if you aren't effectively reading minds after a couple of years, there is probably something wrong with your martial art. If this is so, you should look into applying some principles from Matrix Martial Arts and fixing your art.

The first time you realize that you can look into somebody elses mind is usually during freestyle. You intuitively know what technique your opponent is considering using, and, as time goes on, you begin fitting intuitive responses to whatever he does. Many people think this is because of the freestyle, but it is really because of the forms that you have been perfecting in your martial arts.wado ryu shito ryu isshin ryu uechi ryu kenpo online

The Three Essential Levels Of Karate Posted By: Al Case

If you are into the Martial Arts just to knock people down, to beer over the latest UFC results, this article is not for you. If, however, you think the martial arts are a vehicle to become not just physically and mentally stronger, but maybe even enable you to evolve and grow spiritually, then this is the article for you. This is a straightforward and logical look at the three levels of evolution available through the martial arts.

The first step of the martial arts is the body level. This is nothing more than making sure you have all the necessary body parts to do the martial arts, and that they are in working condition, or close to it. To get started on the first level one need merely understand that, on a base level, the martial arts are nothing more than calisthenics.

To make if from the first level to the second level, however, one needs to accomplish a concept which I have taken the liberty of labeling CBM. In the past masters would refer to this concept as utilizing the body as one unit, which was correct, but not always accurate in description.karate shaolin kung fu wudan martial arts books Kenpo

The Real Power Of The Martial Arts Revealed! Posted By: Al Case

Everybody wants power! They want to be strong, able to jump in the mixed martial arts ring and toss around an attacker like a rag doll. The problem is that nobody knows what power really is.

Everybody confuses this concept of power with big muscles, or strength, or other things. But power has nothing to do with strength or muscles. The truth of the matter is that Power has to do with stabilizing the motor that is your body.

A motor is two terminals between which there is tension. Whether it is a push or a pull, the tension between two poles creates a motor. Push on another body and you have a motor, love somebody and you have a motor, and so on from the smallest to the largest objects in this universe.

In the world of physics as we know it on this planet, a motor, unless held in place, will move as result of the forces it is creating and using. A car motor has motor mounts, brackets, which hold the machine in place, lest it flip over and fall on the ground.kyokushinkai power goju book goju instruction goju online

Learning The Martial Arts Ten Times Faster! Posted By: Al Case

It took me seven years to get my black belt in Karate, but it only took my instructor two and one half years to get his black belt. I always wondered at this discrepancy, but it wasn't until I began to take apart martial arts systems that I understood why. It turns out that there are several reasons why it takes people longer and longer to get their black belts, and to truly learn anything in the martial arts.

When I took apart the system I had been taught I found there were two systems within it. I had not only learned the traditional system of 10 forms that had originally been taught to the fellow who taught me, but I was learning an additional system of seven forms that my instructor had made up. I was also learning several other forms that had been thrown into the mix just because my instructor thought they were valuable.

This happens quite often throughout the world of the martial arts. Ed Parker, of Kenpo fame, for instance, began his career teaching simple karate forms.wudan online wudan dvd wudan master wudan instruction
