2012, The Year Of Dragon, What You Need To Know About Dragon In Vietnam Posted By: lanhnguyen

In Asian myths, no creature is as impressive as the dragon. For Vietnamese peasants, the dragon was a vivid symbol of the fourfold deity-clouds, rain, thunder and lighting. Represented by an S shape, dragons are depicted on artifacts dating back to the Dong Son-Au Lac culture, which existed in northern Vietnam in the first millennium B.C. Later came the cult of Tu Phap, or the Four Miracles. Long ago stargazers identified the Dragon constellation made up of seven stars arranged like an S. The brightest star is the Mind (Tam), also known as the Divine (Than) star. The word Than may also be read as Thin (Dragon), which denotes the third month of the lunar calendar and represents the Yang vital energy.

Dragons were also associated with kingship. Every Vietnamese person knows the legend of Lac Long Quan and Au Co. Lac Long Quan (King Dragon of the Lac Bird Clan) is known as the forefather of the Vietnamese people. He is said to have been the son of a dragon, while his wife, Au Co, was the child of a fairy.vietnam vacation travel agent in vietnam vietnam tour vietnam package holiday vietnam travel agent vietnam travel agency vietnam adventure tour

Top 5 Dishes In Hanoi Posted By: Vietnam Package Tour

Xoi Xeo
Chances are you will encounter this dish in almost every outdoors market. There are even two restaurants dedicated fully this dish in the Old Quarters. Xoi xeo is sticky rice topped with ground de-hulled mung bean and fried onion. Sometimes it can be served with eggs or steamed chicken breast on request. The serving is really filling and it is good for any time of the day but most Vietnamese have it for breakfast or lunch.

Xoi Yen is a all time local favourite sitting just North of Sword Lake on Nguyen Huu Huan street. Ask anyone in the area and they all know what you are referring to. The price varies, without chicken, a bowl of Xoi xeo costs you about 50 cents. Have it with a glass of soy milk and you have more energy boost than a box of granola bars!

Banh Cuon Vietnamese Steam Rice Rolls
Banh Cuon (Vietnamese Steamed Rice Rolls/Crepes) is the perfect holiday detox food. After the last Thanksgiving holiday back in Detroit, Michigan we needed something light, delicate, and yet flavorful to detox after our feast.vietnam vacation travel agent in vietnam vietnam tour vietnam package holiday vietnam travel agent vietnam travel agency vietnam adventure tour

Top 5 Churches In Vietnam For Christmas And New Year Celebration Posted By: Vietnam Package Tour

Hanoi Cathedral
Hanoi Cathedral is at No.40 Nha Chung Street, Hoan Kiem District, and Hanoi. It was built on the site of the former Bao Thien Tower, which was famous in the ancient capital of Thang Long under the Ly Dynasty (the 11th and 12th centuries).

Hanoi Cathedral, also known as Saint Joseph's Cathedral, was inaugurated on Christmas Day 1886, two years after its construction. Its design is similar to the architecture of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Many catholic rituals have been held there. A ritual ceremony dedicated to Jesus Christ is held in this cathedral every year on March 19.

The special thing is that space around Hanoi Cathedral is an ideal meeting place for local residents in Hanoi, especially youngsters, to get away from the bustle and noise of the city. When it gets darker, groups of friends flock to the space to enjoy themselves. To enjoy this kind of entertainment, you can feast and drink with your friends in this open space. The bell striking from the church at meditative moments sways your mind. That is a great and romantic feeling.vietnam vacation travel agent in vietnam vietnam tour vietnam package holiday vietnam travel agent vietnam travel agency vietnam adventure tour

Vietnam with long-aged culture and many beautiful landscapes and a lot of food specialties. Who has ever visited Vietnam; they must have unforgotten this country.

There are many unforgettable food in Vietnam. Each has their own taste. These are some main Vietnam Food specialties.

To travel to Vietnam and discover Vietnam culture, you should get Vietnam visa to enter Vietnam. How to get Vietnam Visa?
The fastest and easiest way to get a visa to Vietnam is applying online for a Visa on Arrival through a travel agent. You will get your Visa Approval Letter (or Visa Pre-approved Letter) after 2-3 working days (normal) or 1 working day (urgent). All you have to do is just to fill in this secure online form at http://vietnamvisasupport.com/apply.html, pay the fee, and get your approval letter after 2-3 days. Remember to check you email after that as you will also receive 1 or two mails that instructs you how to use the approval letter later on.
The other way is to get normal Vietnam entry visa (to be received before traveling) directly at Vietnam Embassy in your country. This takes time (around 4-10 days) and requires many procedures.
Everyone knows that time and tide waits for none. It just appears yesterday that you were given married and today you have got a baby. In a similar way, in almost no time your baby would grow up into an adult and you won't even realize? Therefore you should capture some special moments of your baby in order that you can value them later. Some ideas which will assist you in doing so are discussed below.

If you need a picture that makes you go 'awww' then the newly born cradled in your hands is a great idea. Have the newborn baby in the hands of the folks. It's miles better if you can capture the baby sleeping. Gently cradle the head of the baby and you are certain to have a great shot. In case your newly born is a victim of baby acne, then you can have him sleep sideways. This may draw tiny attention to the acne affected area.

Hoi An - The Colour Of A City Posted By: le quy loc

Everyone who ever traveled to Hoi An knows that as early as the 16th century, it was well renownead as a frenetic and animated trading port and a popular stopover for both foreign traders and travelers. Crews of trading ships from East Asia to Western Europe turned the port city, as a special exception of history, into a rendezvous and centre promoting the exchange of East - West cultures and interaction of generations of people from countless nations.
