Swing Trading Market Trends Posted By: Matt kaldor

Swing trading is a primary strategy used by day traders. The portfolio of a swing trader consists of extremely short term investments, those usually lasting a little longer than one single trading session.

Swing trading basics include finding trades that are expected to experience large fluctuations in price over a very short period of time. The majority of swing traders attempt to identify momentum and market trends using price data and indicators. Such securities tend to be those with high volatility, and are generally cyclical assets.

Swing trading targets are usually stocks, indices, or commodities that are big movers, approaching support levels or resistance levels, are trading in an identifiable pattern, or are about to be affected by important news, such as earnings or a court decision.

These targets are mostly found through technical analysis and the various techniques, methods, and strategies that capitalize on finding patterns in security prices. Candlesticks, moving averages, MACD, stochastics, relative strength index, and Fibonacci extensions are a few of the indicators used in a swing trader's system. Such a trader's buy/sell decisions rely heavily upon technical analysis to provide exact entry points and exit points.Swing trading basics large fluctuations big movers portfolio short term investments volatility

Tips On How To Get A Cheap Playstation 3 Posted By: Floyd P. Dietz

The Sony PlayStation 3 has been available to American buyers since late 2006 and it has certainly extracted a lot of positive response from buyers who think nothing about waiting in line outside stores hoping to be lucky enough to find a PS3 in stock. As you may well expect, the demand for the PlayStation 3 far exceeds the supply and thus far from being able to find a reasonably priced PlayStation 3, chances are that you will end up having to pay quite a steep price for whichever PS3 becomes available to you.

Places to Look for A Cheap PlayStation 3

Because prices of the PS3 have certainly gone through the roof in the previous year or two, it would indeed be rare to be able to find a cheap PlayStation 3 - at least not at the retail stores. To be sure, right now it is mostly available at online auction sites and in the classified sections of various newspapers and magazines and of course, there are also individuals selling their PS3s.Electronics entertainment gadget games technology

Memoirs Of A Perfect Beach Vacation In Florida Posted By: Kenny Doucette

Everyone has their own idea about what the perfect Florida vacation is, and it has a lot to do with your individual tastes. There are plenty of vacation opportunities in the Sunshine State, from family fun to romantic get away. There are things to do for people of all ages, with many amusement parks, sunny beaches, fine dining, as well as golf courses, and shopping adventures.

There are many things that prevent you from having the time of your life. One of them is budget constrictions. With so many things to see and do, you may not be able to afford to get them all in on your vacation. Two of the biggest things that most of your budget goes into is food and lodging. Hotels are quite expensive, and many can run over $100 per night. Even ones that offer breakfast, or that say that kids eat free, have many restrictions, plus you still have to worry about all the other meals and snacks. Booking a hotel has many other problems as well.Vacation Rentals Florida Florida Beach Vacation Rentals Fl

Smart Investors Use Online Trading To Profit In The Recession Posted By: Tom Hawkins

The current financial crisis is set to be on a par with some of the biggest crashes of the 20th century, and all outlooks for the future look pretty gloomy. But there are still great opportunities out there for financial-minded people to make good money using the wide range of online trading websites that are taking the stockbroking industry by storm.

Historically, recessions have always been a period when the least efficient parts of the economic system are pruned. Only the strongest and most adaptable survive. Well, this applies to investors as much as businesses.

Traditionally individual investors have been asked to pay through the nose for stockbrokers. It's not uncommon to pay an annual fee as well as a significant cut of your profits on your investment straight to fund managers and stockbrokers. That can turn a healthy return into a mediocre one - particularly when you consider management fees. The problem becomes even more acute when you factor in the credit crunch and the falling rates of profit. Investors today are struggling to earn the kinds of profits they were just a few years ago by traditional means.

But times, they are a changing.share dealing spread betting stock market investing cfd trading stocks shares spreads

Ever Heard Of An Otcbb (over The Counter Bulletin Board)? Posted By: Jason Bacot

In short, the OTCBB is an electronic quotation system that will display real-time quotes, volume information and last-sale prices for over-the-counter (usually known as OTC) equity securities that are not listed on the National Securities Exchange or NASDAQ Stock Market.

By OTC Equity Security we mean it can include foreign, national and regional equity issues, warrants, ADR ( American Depositary Receipts) and DPP (Direct Participation Programs). In other instances an OTC is referred to microcap stocks or penny stocks. By penny it means that it will quite often be less than $1 overall.

There are definitely more effective ways of going public and one of those ways is by using Pink Sheets. At least with Pink Sheets you don't have to file regular financial information and you do not need to pay the couple of hundred thousand to trade on a big market exchange.

The downfall of doing an over-the-counter listing is that every company must file current financial reports with the SEC or with their banking or insurance regulators which makes it harder, but the profit potential is enormous.OTCBB Over The Counter Bulletin Board go public going public IPO Raise Capital

Here Are Some Essential Facts About Otcqx And Pink Sheets Posted By: Jason Bacot

I'm sure you have heard of Pink Sheets and the OTCQX at some point. You may not know a lot about it, but here are some essential facts in regards to the title of this article.

What are Pink Sheets?

Originally the quotations were printed on a pink slip and hence where the term 'Pink Sheets' originated from. In reality, they are an electronic quotation system that is operated by the Pink OTC Markets. It displays many quotes from over-the-counter (OTC) securities through various brokers.

Some people refer to it as penny stocks since the value of the stock could be less than $3 in most cases. It will be handy to note that the Pink Sheets are not a stock exchange if you were wondering. Obviously there are some great benefits if you decide to list your company with Pink Sheets and they are as follows:

1) Pink sheets can be very volatile. It means that if you had a company with $300 million, you may double it over night and thus reap substantial profit.go public going public IPO Raise Capital Private Placement Memorandum Pink Sheets OTCBB

What You Need To Know About Market Makers And Rule 15c211 Posted By: Jason Bacot

A market maker is a company or firm that stands ready to participate in the buying or selling of a particular stock on a continuous or regular basis at a price quoted publicly. Market makers are usually involved in the context of the NYSE, NASDAQ, or other over-the-counter markets. Generally, market makers must be ready to buy and sell a minimum of 100 shares of stocks they are making a market in.

As a result, a number of market makers may have to file a large order from investors at potentially different prices.

Market Maker Registration:

All broker dealers who want to be registered as a market maker must first file their application with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and prove that they are in good standing with the NASD and that their firm meets all the capital requirements to be qualified as a market maker.

The registration will only take effect upon NASD's notification. Once approved, the broker dealer must then register in each of the securities it wishes to make its market in, before he or she could quote that security.Rule 15c211 Market Makers go public going public IPO Raise Capital Private Placement

With Gold Bullions, You Have To Get In And Get Out Posted By: Troy Truman

For those of you who are unaware, there are two different sectors of gold coins out there: those made before the year 1933 and those made after. Though this may just seem like a difference of age, there are significant changes from one time period to another. One of the obvious ones is in the rarity of the coins as there were far less gold coins produced prior to 1933 than what we see nowadays. There is an even bigger difference though and that lies in the market volatility of the coins. Let's take a look at how you might want to approach your gold investments.

If you're looking into a long term investment, pre-1933 gold is the way to go. The rare coins of that era are not subject to as much of the market's fluctuations as the modern bullion is. The value of bullion might change within an hour, but private coins remain fairly steady. Granted, there are still changes in the value of pre-1933 gold, but they are not as frequent or as significant as the changes of the bullions.gold bullions in out

Let The Flag Wave Posted By: Art Gib

There's no doubt about it; flags are cool. They show who's side your on, where you're from, or where you're going. I've attended international conventions where government flags have been displayed on name tags. From clear across the room, we could tell where a representative was from, and more importantly, what language they spoke. That made organization and problem solving a lot easier, since we could send the right attendant to assist, basically on sight.

When I was living in Japan several years ago, there was a promotion at a well-known hamburger chain where the player would scratch two random fields off of a twelve-field scratch and play card, revealing a partial image of a government flag underneath. Luckily, we had an atlas with a page displaying worldwide flags, and so we would take that along whenever we knew we were going to be stopping at that burger place. We ate a lot of free food and drink thanks to that reference on government flags.

Later, when I was teaching Japanese at a public junior high school, all of the language classrooms were adorned with the government flag representing the nation or nations that spoke the language they were teaching.Government Flag

How To Predict The Market - Price To Earnings Ratio (p/e) Posted By: marciano guerrero

How wonderful the world would be for investors if they had a crystal ball which would help them predict the future. Lacking this magic ball, investors have to be satisfied with a different type of predictor: the Price to Earnings Ratio (P/E).

What is the P/E Ratio?

The P/E is a mathematical ratio. The result will not be a dollar amount, but a mathematical ratio: the relationship between the stock price and the company's earnings. The company earnings is given by the EPS or the "Earnings per share" of the common stock.

Computing the P/E ratio

You compute the P/E by taking the share price and dividing it by the company's EPS.

P/E = Stock Price / EPS

To illustrate, a company with a share price of $40 and an EPS of 8 would have a P/E of 5 ($40 / 8 = 5). As you can see the result is the ratio '5.' In the Wall Street jargon, the ratio is referred to as 'multiples.'

Ways to interpret the P/E ratio

What does the ratio '5' tell you? The P/E ratio of 5 tells us what the market is willing to pay for the company's earnings.earnings per share market p/e ratio multiples p/e ratio Price to Earnings ratio

The recession has hit businesses of all sizes hard and as the recession continues to bite astute businesses are looking at every avenue to reduce their expenditure and keep their heads above water.

One of the first aspects looked at is office supplies and unnecessary wastage. Recycling and 'going green' are an effective way of saving money and reducing your company's carbon footprint. Confidential records and client details should always be shredded appropriately before adding to a recycling bin.

Office supplies does not only entail paper, shredders, printer cartridges, writing implements and other items such as staples, staplers, post-it notes, envelopes and numerous other items which for the most part are taken for granted within an office environment are classed as essential office supplies.

Despite may businesses 'going green' and making a concerted effort to go paper-free there are many other office supplies which businesses cannot function without. If your business is 'green' look for online office supply companies which actively encourage the use of recycled materials, the instantly recognisable green recycling logo is what you should be looking for.office supplies
