Do Not Suffer From The Consequences Of Birth Injury, Misdiagnosis Or Other Malpractices Alone Posted By: Maritza Matthews

Everyone has a visit to the doctor at one point in time or another. Whether it be for your annual checkup, sickness or other type of injury, often, timing is very important. Particularly in very serious cases, doctors have only moments to make the proper diagnosis in order to save the life of their patient. If they do not act quickly, it can lead to serious problems for their patient, and even death. However, in other situations, the misdiagnosis of a medical condition can have the same tragic consequences. If your doctor has either misdiagnosed or failed to diagnose medical conditions such as cancer, stroke, heart attack, fetal distress, internal bleeding, head injuries and more, they can have tragic outcomes.

For this reason, you may want to consider contacting a Miami medical malpractice lawyer that may be able to assist you. The state of Florida has instituted legislation that makes filing a medical malpractice lawsuit increasingly difficult for both attorneys and those who have suffered from the malpractice itself.miami medical malpractice lawyer defense base act attorneys

You And Your Child Should Not Have To Suffer Undue Hardship Because Of A Doctor's Negligence Posted By: Betty Dodson

The most blessed event in most people's lives is the birth of their children. While most women give birth to a happy, healthy, perfect baby, there are unfortunately women whose infant suffered at the hands of the delivering doctor or nurse, and will suffer for the rest of their lives because of it. Often, birth injuries and defects are caused by a doctor's failure to diagnose or properly treat you and your child before, during and after delivery. There is a multitude of birth injury causes, but if you suspect that your child was injured at any time during the labor and delivery process, it is vital for you to contact a Chicago Medical Malpractice Attorney as soon as you can. In this manner, you can have your medical records reviewed by a superb team of medical experts who will be able to determine the actual cause of your child's birth injury. Some very common birth injuries can include a variety of failures on the doctor's part, including diagnosis and treatment of eclampsia, jaundice, meningitis, infections, anticipation of complications and failure to perform genetic testing.chicago accident lawyer chicago motorcycle accident attorne

Most Common Blood Tests During Pregnancy First Trimester Posted By: Rinki Rawat

At the first prenatal visit, the blood will be checked by the practitioner for seeing whether the type of blood is A, B, O or AB or whether it is Rh-negative. There are various blood tests during pregnancy first trimester. If a woman is Rh-negative, she will get a shot of immunoglobulin at least once during her pregnancy. After the delivery, the baby will turn to be Rh-positive. This shot will protect the woman from developing antibodies that can be very dangerous during this pregnancy or for future pregnancies. There will also be a blood test during pregnancy first trimester for checking if there are any unusual antibodies due to which the pregnancy may be affected.

1.Complete blood count
This is a blood count which will tell the practitioner if there is very little hemoglobin in the red blood cells. This may also be sign of anemia. Sometimes, this is also a result of iron deficiency. If a person is iron deficient, taking iron supplements will be recommended by the practitioner. One must eat many iron-rich foods such as lean meat. This is a very common blood test during pregnancy first trimester

Pattern Found To Indicate Birth Complications Posted By: Bobby Castro

Pregnancy complications often occur in 30% of all pregnancies with the highest complication as low birth weight accounting for 8% of total complications. This is one of the greatest issues besetting mother and child.

A recent study at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health found a pattern that can indicate which pregnant mothers would have complications and if the child would have a low birth weight. The key factor would be mental health issues prior to pregnancy and if the mother experiences such issues, it would have a 40% greater risk to have pregnancy complications and nearly twice the risk in having low birth weight infant. This factor may also lead to having a miscarriage or stillbirth.

According to Dr. Whitney Witt, the lead author of the study and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Population Health Sciences, "We need to be screening and treating women for poor mental health much earlier in their lives, especially before women become pregnant. Timely and effective treatment for mental health problems before pregnancy may help reduce women's risk for pregnancy complications or having a low birth weight baby.gestational diabetes pregnancy mother child

Increase Chances Of Getting Pregnant - 10 Ways To Improve Your Fertility Stop The Frustration Posted By: Gary Baxter

Looking for methods to increase chances of getting pregnant? Look no more, because here are ten easy ways to improve your fertility.

First, consult your doctor. Aside from giving you his professional advice, your doctor can also recommend prenatal vitamins, like folic acid supplements, which can save your baby from having serious birth defects.

Second, stop taking pills as soon as you can. You will probably have an irregular cycle for a few months after withdrawing from using contraception. Additionally, you will probably be fertile only after a month of stopping.

Third, find out when your ovulation date is. Take advantage of your most fertile days by trying for a baby then. There are approximately seven days when you are considered most fertile.

Fourth, start eating healthy and get yourself into good shape. Research shows that underweight and overweight women have less chances of conceiving right away.

Fifth, stop smoking and doing drugs. Both vices are not only unhealthy for you, but they can also seriously damage your baby. These can also cause you to have premature births and miscarriages, in addition to possibly having a low-weight baby.

Sixth, reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake.increase chances of getting pregnant getting pregnant tips on getting pregnant

The Basics Of Gestational Diabetes Posted By: Bobby Castro

While pregnancies are viewed as blessings to complete a married life, there are many complications that go along which may lead to risk and danger to both mother and child. One of the greatest fears to develop during a pregnancy is gestational diabetes.

Gestational diabetes is the complication that block production of insulin. Due to the many hormonal changes in a woman's body brought about by the pregnancy, insulin production often does not function properly leading to many complications. The following are the risk factors to develop this condition:

1) The pregnant woman is above twenty five years of age;
2) The pregnant woman has a family history of diabetes;
3) The pregnant woman has given birth to a baby above nine pounds at birth or has a birth defect;
4) The pregnant woman's urine has glucose during one of the prenatal checkups;
5) The pregnant woman suffers from hypertension;
6) The pregnancy has a high presence of amniotic fluid;
7) The woman has had a previous miscarriage or gave birth to a stillborn baby;
8) The woman was overweight prior to pregnancy;

Gestational diabetes does not have outward signs to indicate the development of the condition.gestational diabetes risks diabetes infant mother

Stay Away From Unhealthy Habits During Pregnancy Posted By: DrugTestStrips

Health issues are most important considerations to be kept in mind during pregnancy. It is necessary for you to maintain perfect health and stay away from unhealthy habits at this crucial stage to ensure that you and your baby are healthy and safe. In this article, we will discuss about the things you need to avoid during pregnancy.

Things you need to avoid
Important things you should avoid when pregnant are alcohol, illicit drugs, cigarettes and caffeine. However, many women, with or without the proper knowledge of their severe effects, are found to use them. According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) of 2009, 4.5 percent and 10 percent of pregnant women aged 15-44 years used illicit drugs and alcohol respectively. It is, hence, necessary to educate people and make them understand the harmful effects of using them.

Harmful effects on you and your baby
Unhealthy habits including drinking, substance abuse and smoking have dangerous health effects on you and your baby.

Drinking: Drinking during pregnancy causes Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) which affects the physical and mental development of the baby.marijuana test drug test kit unhealthy habits pregnancy

Getting Pregnant Naturally - 5 Things You Must Do If You Want To Conceive A Baby Posted By: Gary Baxter

If you are planning to get pregnant, there are some things you can do to turn the plan into reality the soonest possible time. After all, being in the pink of health during pregnancy is crucial for both you and the baby. These things will not only help you conceive, but will also help you conceive healthily.

1) Forget about contraception

No matter how much smoother your skin has become due to the pills you have been taking for some time, you definitely should ditch them if you want to get pregnant. Sometimes, taking contraception has become so much of your routine that it will take some getting used to not to have them. The sooner you forget about the pills and other contraceptives, the faster you can become pregnant.

2) Stop smoking and other bad habits

It has long been proven that smoking, drinking, and doing drugs significantly diminish the possibility of getting pregnant. In addition, they also increase the possibility of premature birth, miscarriages, and low-birth weight babies. In both men and women, fertility rate is decreased by engaging in any of these bad habits. In fact, even secondhand smoke can affect your chances of having a baby.planning to get pregnant getting pregnant naturally getting pregnant

What Is Medical Negligence? Posted By: Stuart Mitchell

The overwhelming majority of healthcare professionals aim to do the best job they can, for our health, all of the time and for the most part are successful in their work. However, it is unavoidable that occasionally human error will arise and mistakes will be made, particularly when staff are subjected to substantial pressures due to factors such as targets and time restraints. When mistakes occur this is defined as medical negligence and if a patient suffers either injury or loss as a result of the negligence they may be entitled to compensation.

Medical negligence cases can arise from errors made by any healthcare professional, including doctors, nurses, surgeons and dentists, whether they work within the National Health Service or the private sector.

By definition each case is different with its own unique set of circumstances however there are a few common areas in which things can go wrong. Issues can arise from a delay in diagnosing a serious ailment, particularly an ailment such as cancer where the most effective treatments occur if the disease is caught in its earliest stages.medical negligence law health london solicitors

Natural Extracts Provide Antiviral Systemic Effect On Herpes Posted By: bcured

Genital herpes is a highly contagious infection that often spreads through intercourse with a person with infected sores, but it can be passed through oral or anal sex as well. It may also be spread even when sores are not visible. Genital herpes can also be spread to a newborn during birth if the mother has an active infection.
Usually, this infection is caused by the herpes simplex virus-2 although herpes simplex virus-1, the virus responsible for cold sores, may occasionally cause this disease. It can be spread by an infected partner who does not have any sores and may not even know they have the disease. Genital herpes is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases and more common in women than in man.
Most people infected with genital herpes have very minimal or no signs or symptoms of this disease. The first attack of herpes often follows this course: skin on or near the sex organ becomes inflamed; blister-like sores appear on or near the sex organs; sores open, scab over, and then heal. Symptoms that may be present when the virus first appears include: swollen glands, fever, headache, burning when passing urine, and muscle aches.herpes plant medicine natural treatment herpes treatment
