A Pilgrimage Turned Picnic- Murudeswara Posted By: hoparoundindia

We keep travelling at every given opportunity. We capped our travel calendar of the year 2011 in December with a trip to Murudeswara in Khatkal district of Karnataka state in India. It was a completely unplanned trip as we were at Sringeri on 4 Dec and had planned to return to Bangalore. We realized that few tourists were proceeding to Murudeswara which is at a distance of 150km and not more than 3hrs from Sringeri. As it is on the Arabian seashore my two boys were excited to go on the trip. So, there we were on NH13 by 11 am on 4 Dec moving towards Murudeswara in our family car. We got on to state highway after some while and were back on to NH 17 and a left from Indian Oil petrol filling station lead us to our destination Murudeswara.

Murudeswara is a temple of Lord Shiva and is popular for the 20 storied and 237 ft high Raja Gopuram. We had to strain our necks to get a complete view of the Gopuram. It is built on the Kanduka Giri hill surrounded by sea on all three sides. The temple premises are very clean and pleasant.travel temple vacation nature murudeshwara lord shiva shore statue height temple at shore statue on goupram south india temples

Popcorn In The Microwave Posted By: caesar Mensah

Do you love finger foods like popcorns? Well, with just the help of your microwave oven, you can make your popcorn and eat them while watching television, partying with your friends, studying, listening to radio or even while surfing the net. Popcorns are easy to make in the microwave oven and here are some popcorn flavors that can be cooked in the microwave oven.
The Usual Popcorn
Get half-cup of unpopped popcorn, a teaspoon of vegetable oil and ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix the oil and unpopped popcorn in a small box or even in a cup. Then put the covered corn to a brown paper lunch bag and add a little amount of salt. To fasten the items, fold the lid of the lunch bag over twice. Then cook it in the microwave with a power that is full for about 2 ½ minutes. Or it could be until you notice gaps of about 2 seconds between the pops. To avoid steam, be sure to open the bag carefully and put it in a serving bowl.
Try Caramel Popcorn
If you are tired of eating the usual popcorn, try this caramel-flavored popcorn.daewoo microwave review daewoo microwaves daewoo reviews

Noodle Recipe ' Posted By: Anjo Bacani

Filipinos are known for their fondness with noodle recipe, their affection with the recipe was a result of Chinese influences. In the Philippines there are lots of different variation of cooking noodle, as environmental resources always affect people for preparing their food. As an example, people from Malabon are known for their version of Pansit known as Pancit Malabon which use seafoods as their ingredient. They usually include seafoods such as squid, clams or oyster and other seafood depending with their catch on a particular day.
There are also some places in the Philippines which are known for their tasty noodle recipe. In Batangas particularly in Lipa City, a nearby province in Metro Manila are popular with their version of cooking Lomi recipe. Lomi is a Filipino term for thick noodle. I really love the taste of their recipe as everytime that I have free time I always find a way to travel just to taste their delicious Lomi recipe. They usually used chicken, pork, and pork liver to enhance flavor and as what I have heard that their secret is within the noodles that they used as it is a homemade noodle.Karekare Filipino food beef stew filipino recipe
