Motivating Employees: Motivating The Team-driven Employee Posted By: K. MacKillop

Some employees are motivated to excel simply by contributing their part in a team environment. As long as these workers feel appreciated and an important part of the work group, they will put out their best effort.

Creating an environment that feeds contribution-oriented works begins with the company culture. Especially in small and growing businesses, it is important to nurture loyalty. Establishing a culture of teamwork and solidarity will accomplish both -- all staff members will feel more connected to your company and team-motivated workers will have their needs met as well.

One of the best ways to develop a truly team-oriented work environment is for the staff (and you) to have shared experiences that build relationships beyond work. This does not mean that everyone must be best friends, but rather that each employee should have the opportunity to be themselves with the rest of the staff. Schedule get-togethers for the staff such as monthly lunches or after-hours social events. Shared experiences, especially fun ones, build bonds among people that make working through conflicts or under stress easier.managing employeesmotivating employees

Suffering from panic is not only happening to people more frequently, it is also happening frequently in more people. It happens almost instantly and can be triggered by any number of things. There is also no telling how long an attack may last.

Anxiety or panic attacks are hard to cope with and can be mentally, physically and emotionally draining and they can affect people's work and relationships. Obviously people who have to deal with this condition on a regular basis want to find an effective cure for their panic attacks.

Deep Breathing

One of the best ways to cure panic attacks is to try to stay calm and relaxed while in the middle of an attack. Breathing deeply is a one method used to stay calm. It should be repeated until the feeling of panic has eased and one has become more relaxed.
Dating : Translating Love And How To Be Loving Posted By: Susan Lancaster

When it comes to dating, individuals can experience emotions ranging from extreme joy to serious depression. Not only are you struggling to find your lifelong soul mate but you are also learning and exercising the very basics of human communication, which can be exceedingly confusing for most people on the planet. There is no need to put undue pressure on yourself when it comes to learning the ins and outs of dating; simply take your time and do your best to open the lines of communication to the best of your ability. Understanding some basic ways to express love and affection to your dating partner is essential to fostering healthy communication with your prospective mate, whether you are on your first or your fiftieth night out together.

Translating Love

Not everybody expresses love and appreciation in the same way. This is why men and women can sometimes feel as though they are not getting what they need from their partners. Some people express love verbally, while others express love by serving their partner in more practical (tangible) ways.datingloveguiderelationshipsemotion

Relationships, Dating, Your Goals And How You Should Act Posted By: Susan Lancaster

Dating relationships take many forms in our society. For most people dating is a way to enjoy the company of the other sex and a way to get to know another person. Some daters look at the dating scene as a means to gratifying their egos and counting conquests. Others view dating as the primary means of selecting someone to spend the rest of their lives with in a significant and enduring marriage relationship.

Whatever the goals you may have in dating it's always wise to remember three things: the person you're dating is a valuable human being worthy of your respect, dating is by nature a temporary arrangement and it's an opportunity to be a giver rather than a taker.

The first thing to remember in a dating relationship is that the person you're taking out is worthy of being treated with respect. This means essentially that you are honest, polite and willing to act in the other person's best interest. Respect is the fundamental basis of a good relationship.datinggoalsfunrelationshipssinglesguidance

Why Meditation? Posted By: Brenda Simard

People the world over have turned to meditation for thousands of years. Why? What does meditation provide us with as humans that simply co-existing on planet earth might not be able to provide us with? The clue is in the meditation itself.

Imagine, if you will, life one thousand years ago. The average person lived a very hard and short life. There were no luxuries unless you were the master of your kingdom. Yet, there always seemed to be time for family and self. There were no airplanes or business trips half way around the world where your hosts spoke a language you did not understand. Now fast forward to your life today. There is seldom any time for relaxing, time to discover your purpose, time to listen to your children.

It is my belief that meditation is more important to our society now than it ever has been. Without peace, calm and understanding we are creating generations of self-indulgent adults who will not grasp the importance of being a contributing part of their world. We must not lose the battle and then wonder in our old age where our lives went and where we went wrong.why meditatewhat is meditationmeditationmeditation for healthmeditation for addictions

4 Ways To Help Your Child Maintain A Healthy Weight Posted By: Brenda Simard

What we, as parents, need to understand is that we are the adults in our relationships with our children. It is our responsibility to teach them the right foods to eat, how much to eat and when to eat. Kids are not born into this world with that kind of knowledge. We have our experiences as children with our parents as well as our own experiences as adults. Children learn by observation. Give them good eating habits they can take with them on their life's journey.

Healthy Food Choices

A parent's job is to provide healthy food choices for their children. The taste of a potato chip may be better tasting than a carrot but that should not mean that you give kids chips instead of carrots. A meal or snack should contain the following: carbohydrates, protein and a little bit of fat. Carbs fill you up but can also quickly leave you hungry again. Protein and fat stays with you longer making you feel satisfied. Try serving yogurt and peanuts, peanut butter and waffles or cheese and fruit as healthy all round snacks or meals. Fiber is also an important part of anyone's diet.healthy weighthealthy food choiceshealthy foodhealthy living

Chemistry Homework Help: Unique And Effective Tutoring At Tutorsonnet.com Posted By: santosh bhol

Chemistry is the study of matter and its interactions with other matter and energy. Chemistry is the study of matter. Like physicists, chemists study the fundamental properties of matter and they also explore the interactions between matter and energy. Chemistry is a science, but it is also used in human communication and interaction, cooking, medicine, engineering, and a host of other disciplines. Although people use chemistry every day with no apparent problem, if the time comes to take a course in chemistry in high school or college, many students are filled with dread. Don't be! Chemistry is manageable and even fun. I've compiled some study tips and resources to make your encounter with chemistry easier.

Why Study Chemistry? Because understanding chemistry helps you to understand the world around you. Cooking is chemistry. Everything you can touch or taste or smell is a chemical. When you study chemistry, you come to understand a bit about how things work. Chemistry isn't secret knowledge, useless to anyone but a scientist. It's the explanation for everyday things, like why laundry detergent works better in hot water or how baking soda works or why not all pain relievers work equally well on a headache.Java programing Helpoperations management homework helpdbm

10 Ways That Twitter Can Boost Your Online Business Posted By: Alex De Mostafa

Tweeting, as it is called, is all the rage amongst online businesses these days. Twitter consists of writing short text messages of less than 140 characters that can be viewed by all of your followers. Twitter is a great way to attract attention to your online business thus serves as a form of free online marketing. Companies can use Twitter to interact with both current and potential customers, building brand loyalty and image. Here are 10 ways in which Twitter can boost your online business.

1. Twitter generates traffic to your site because you can send messages that include links. The only problem with trying to increase clientele with Twitter is that it is difficult to target a certain group or demographic. There is a possibility to create viral content on Twitter however because you can ask your friends to include your links in their tweets.

2. Twitter greatly enhances your personal brand. By using Twitter, you and your company develop a casual, approachable personality that is in the loop. This helps you attract new potential customers.Tweetingonline businesstwitterbusinessonline marketi

Coping With Stressful Changes In Your Life Posted By: Maurice Castle

Life is constantly changing around us, in us, through us, and about us. It's inevitable that there are going to be changes throughout life. Some will be good, some bad, and some indifferent. Some you like, some you hate, and some just don't matter.

Obviously the changes you like are easy to deal with and you might even look forward to it! What about the changes in life that aren't so peachy? How do you handle those?

Let's explore some of these common changes and the best ways to cope with them.

Job Loss
Job loss is on the forefront of almost every American's mind right now as the economy declines more and more each day. This type of change can be very stressful, if you allow it to be. However, by looking at the situation differently, job loss doesn't have to be stressful.

When you're faced with job loss, try to think of it as a new opportunity to try something new or something you've always wanted to do.

Some ideas are:

* Take some evening classes to learn a new skill or trade.

* Make arts, crafts, or jewelry and sell it online or at craft fairs.Network Spinal AnalysisNetwork Chiropractornetwork chiropractic

Saving Time And Energy: A Six-step Process To Adopting New Technology Posted By: deep1618

"You Tube? Best marketing tool EVER!"

"If you're in business, you absolutely, positively have to be on MySpace."

"All the best marketers have blogs...or podcasts...or streaming video on their websites..."

Sound familiar? It seems as if a day doesn't go by without some new technological tidbit, guaranteed to transform the business world as we know it, is making all the papers. Blogging is hot one day, passe the next. You Tube is the place you want to be -- unless you don't want to be there, of course!

How is a Nichepreneur to make any sense of it all? How do you identify what tools are best to promote your products and services and which are destined to be no more than a flash in the pan phenomenon, long on promise and short on follow-through?

More importantly, how are you going to find the time to figure it all out? When you're busy running your business, finding the hours needed to learn about a new technology can be challenging enough -- spending all of that time and energy only to discover that something is really not for you is a frustration you don't need!Affiliate MarketingSale MarketingBusiness Development

Five Ideas To Transform A Soldier's Life - Healthcare Strategist Proposes Policy Changes To Benefit Posted By: Alberto Stellpflug

(1888PressRelease) November 07, 2009 - Honolulu, Hawaii - Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Since 9/11, more than 1.6 million men and women have served in the U.S. armed forces in Afghanistan and Iraq.

"War changes people," stated Noe Foster, CEO of theStrategist. "Research confirms that the battle does not end when combat soldiers return home. For many the battle intensifies."

A large number struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, (PTSD) Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), substance abuse, violent rages, and strained family relationships.

Our combat veterans need more than lip service and parades.

Here are five policy changes to transform the life of a soldier and help him or her win their personal battle at home:

1. Presume Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) will occur. One in three soldiers will return from war with PTSD. The probability increases dramatically with multiple deployment. Treat all combat soldiers in theatre and at home as if they were already experiencing PTSD. Lift the 5-year diagnosis time period attached to PTSD disability benefits. Screening for PTSD is flawed since symptoms can be masked for many years.HealthcarehealthcareveteranPTSDTBIGuardReserve

Ten Ways To Generate Sub-prime And Purchase Leads Posted By: Loan System

No matter what the market environment, it is important to generate business from a variety of sources--both traditional and non-traditional. We all know that the refinance boom could end at any time, but how many of us are adequately prepared? How many of us are positioned properly to maintain our current standard of living? Would you be forced to leave the industry, if rates rose rapidly? These are questions worth looking at.

If the refi-boom suddenly came to an end, your phone would no longer ring off the hook and you would be forced to go after purchase, sub-prime and debt-consolidation loans. In other words, you are going to have to hustle to generate business. But, where will these loans come from?

Over the years, I've compiled some of the best methods of generating these types of leads. Here are my top ten:

1. Approach real estate "seller's" agents. The holy grail of generating purchase leads. I've found the best sources to be the new agents who aren't already working with someone.mortgage brokerloan officermortgage leadsloan brokerreal estate agentmortgage processormortgage industrymortgage bankingmortgage train

Are You In A Casual Or Serious Millionaire Dating Relationship? Posted By: Andrea Carless

Most of you would know for sure that there's a difference between casual and serious relationships in online dating, right? How can you tell if your partner considers your relationship just casual or if he is already considering it to be serious? To be successful in a relationship, one has to be in the same wavelength as your partner.

Why does this have to happen? Simple. You would not want to be stuck in limbo, right? Where your sugardaddie actually thinks that you two are just casually dating, but you think that your in a serious relationship? Or vice-versa? When that happens, things can get pretty ugly, pretty fast.

Okay, so that you can differentiate between these two very different types of millionaire dating, let's take a closer look at them:

1. Casual Dating

As its name would suggest, casual dating means that neither of you take the other that seriously. Why have you not, at this point, taken it seriously? Because it's either one of you is dating someone else or if you both live too far away from each other.millionaire datingsugardaddiedating tips for womendating advice for womenmillionaire matchsugar daddie

The Four-second Rule For Improved Communications Posted By: Susanne Gaddis

"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Chances are you've come across this phrase sometime during your life. This piece of advice has been passed down for generations for a good reason--it's excellent advice.

I'm sure if you think about it--okay, think hard now--you can come up with a few instances when you've said things that you wish you could take back. Whether you spoke during a time when you were stressed, angry, disappointed or frustrated, or you offered up a piece of unsolicited advice during a period of relative calm, thinking about what you said still triggers feelings of discomfort and regret.

Okay, I admit it, in the past, like so many others, I've been a victim of the "open mouth/insert foot" syndrome. Upon occasion I've also been self-diagnosed with the "open mouth/insert leg" syndrome. Yes, there are times when, as a communicator, I've wanted to crawl under a big rock.

If you're prone to saying things that you later regret, here's my best advice: STOP! And, to aid you in this effort, I'd like to share with you the "Four-Second Rule" for better communications.anger-managementself-improvementWorkplace communication
