Five Ways To Improve Your Chances Of Conceiving Naturally Posted By: Chris Cascade

For those who are attempting to get pregnant naturally but are having difficulty, there are some simple steps you can take to help create a beneficial and healthy environment in which conception can take place naturally.

1) Timing. Learn about your menstrual cycle, by using an ovulation predictor kit or other means. By knowing exactly when you are ovulating, you will be able to get your timing on schedule and greatly improve your chances of conceiving.

2) Eat healthy. Reduce junk foods and eliminate anything with trans fat. Try to eat as much whole grains, fruits, vegetables and full fat dairy as possible. Also eliminate substances such as alcohol, smoking and drugs from your diet.

3) Take folic acid supplements and prenatal vitamins. Folic acid is important for preventing many major birth defects in a baby's brain and spine.

4) Reduce stress in your life. Stress is known to inhibit conception rates, and for women who are having difficulty getting pregnant, their stress levels may become even greater. Try to figure out ways to reduce stress factors in your life, and also consider practices such as massage and acupuncture that can help reduce stress levels.natural fertility treatments

Home Pregnancy Test ' Posted By: Beauty and Health care

The way a home pregnancy test works is simple. The test measures the amount of a pregnancy hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in your spouse's urine. A woman's body starts releasing hCG only after a fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterus wall and the placenta begins to form around it. All this happens within the first 10-15 days of a pregnancy.

Pregnancy tests, by the way, are US FDA regulated. There are several over the counter home pregnancy tests available that you can use in private to get immediate results. There are pregnancy tests that tell you that you are pregnant barely six days after you conceive or immediately the day after you miss your period. For you, this means that as soon as you know you are pregnant, you can start planning the kind of prenatal care you want.

These are the hormones which are detected by the test kit. They are in high concentrations in the vaginal fluid which is why it is the best test source for the pregnancy detection.pregnancy tests home pregnancy test kit HCG levels

Don't Despair: Infertility Treatments To Help Make Your Baby Happen Posted By: Andrew Stratton

Infertility is a real bummer. You've always heard how easy it is to get pregnant, and now you're trying and trying and nothing's happening. It can be a simple or complex problem, depending on the causes, but there are always infertility treatments that can help.

Fertility Drugs

Most women who have low fertility suffer from ovulation problems. There are a number of prescription medications for treating infertility that your doctor can get you. These drugs are very effective. They include Clomid, Femara, Gonadotropins and others. Most come in pill form, but there are also injectibles. Your doctor can best decide which the right option for you is.

The major risk with fertility drugs is that they might work too well. It sounds like something from a movie or TV show, but it's a fact: Fertility drugs can work too well and cause multiple births. Your dream of having your first child might become a nightmare of twins or triplets! You've probably noticed that news stories about quintuplets or more usually mention fertility drugs. Use with caution!

Surgery Option

In some cases, your doctor might recommend surgery.womens health Valparaiso womens health Hobart womens health Lowell IN womens health Munster

Vaginal Discharge ' Posted By: Dr. Mital John

Vaginal discharge means secretion from the vagina. Vaginal discharge is normal in females' day to day lives. Vaginal discharge caused due to stress, illness and hormonal changes. These secretions can be of white color, yellow color, brown and green color. It turns yellow when it exposed to the air because some bleeding is present. Before menstrual period it turns to brown color.

A normal vaginal discharge consists of about a teaspoon (4 milliliters) a day that is white or transparent, thick to thin, and odorless. This is formed by the normal bacteria and fluids the vaginal cells put off. The discharge can be more noticeable at different times of the month depending on ovulation, menstrual flow, sexual activity and birth control.vaginal discharge vaginal discharge causes vaginal discharge treatment vaginal infections vaginal discharge symptoms

Menopause And Weight Gain Posted By: Jen Downs

Talking to most women over 50 you will quickly find that menopause and weight gain are linked in their experience. It is very common to put on weight at this time and while some of this may be due to lifestyle changes, that does not explain why suddenly we develop a tendency to put on weight at different parts of the body, especially the abdomen, while any weight gained when we were younger tended to be centered on the hips.

The truth is that hormonal changes do have a part to play in this, although the process is not completely understood. At menopause a woman stops ovulating, her monthly menstruation periods end, and her body produces much lower levels of the female hormone estrogen which is responsible for the ovulation process. Low estrogen has been shown to cause weight gain in animals and it almost certainly is the reason why our bodies change shape. While women of childbearing age store fat in the lower body, after the menopause they store it on the abdomen instead, like men. This leads to a greater risk of heart disease.belly fat burn belly fat lose weight burn fat

Not Everyone Is A Candidate For Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy Posted By: J. Eileen Henry

A Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy is used to affirm the doctors diagnosis of the presence of an ovarian cyst and to rule out the possibility of cancer. The surgeon will also remove the cyst if it has been causing a patient pain, excessive bleeding or one of the other symptoms. However, unless the physician is very suspicious about the cyst, surgery should be the last option.

An ovarian cyst is often found either when one or more symptoms present themselves, or from a gynecological pelvic examination. When a cyst is discovered, a surgeon might feel as though the first thing that they should do is nothing! Yes, even though that seems like the totally opposite solution for a doctor to suggest, it very possibly will solve the problem. Many times, the cyst will either shrink, or disappear completely within one to three months. Oral contraceptives are sometimes given to the woman, because by preventing ovulation, the hormone levels will adjust, which would mean that the cyst will begin to get smaller. Another alternative to having a laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy is having the cyst drained with a needle.laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy laparoscopic cystectomy laparoscopic procedure ovarian cystectomy ovarian cysts ovarian cyst removal

I Want To Get Pregnant. What Do I Do? Posted By: Michael Anderson

A Woman always wishes: 'I want to get pregnant', to become a mother at some point of time. Motherhood brings with it a sense of fulfillment. Hence, the expression of the wish 'I want to get pregnant' is not at all uncommon. This is particularly so among ladies who, for some reason, have problems to reproduce. During the old times, a childless woman was supposed to have been the victim of bad luck or curse. She was deemed to have been created by God, when the latter was not in a good mood. However, such days have gone by. Presently, ladies who face problems in getting pregnant can always consult a doctor. Medical advancements have made becoming pregnant easier.

There are certain practical methods by which pregnancy can actually be attained. Following these broad guidelines, along with a clear objective - I want to get pregnant - is crucial to achieve desirable results. If correct steps for pregnancy are not taken, it is almost impossible to solve the related problems. It also has to be kept in mind that no woman can conceive a kid on her own.best herbs to cure infertility unexplained infertility acupuncture and infertility

Worst Menopause Symptoms May Start In The Brain Posted By: Anant Ratanakovit

The hypothalamus and the pituitary gland stop reacting normally to estrogen in some women, suggesting they may have developed a reduced sensitivity to estrogen, researchers at the New Jersey Medical School report in the Dec. 22/29 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.

"This is an important new concept: menopause doesn't just originate in the ovary, but also in the brain," said Laura Goldsmith, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology and women's health at the New Jersey Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

"These findings may lead the way to further research that will ultimately help doctors predict the type of menopausal transition a woman might have, and help to design non-estrogen medications that could help reduce symptoms that women experience as they enter this phase of life," said Dr. Gerson Weiss, chairman of obstetrics and gynecology and women's health at the New Jersey Medical School.

Menopause refers to the time when menstruation stops. A woman is not considered menopausal until she has not had a period for 12 consecutive months, according to the North American Menopausal Society.menopause menopause symptoms perimenopause

How To Get Pregnant Fast? Get Your Answers Here Posted By: Michael Anderson

Knowledge regarding how to get pregnant fast has grown in importance over time. Couples often need some time before deciding to have a baby. However, once the ideal time to conceive a child is determined, after months or maybe even years of marriage, women generally want to know how to get pregnant fast. If a lady is conversant with the broad mechanisms of reproductive system of the human body, she can speed up the period of pregnancy by some amounts, via the adoption of certain specified methods. However, there are no easy, quick-fix solutions to make pregnancy quicker. The following discussion is extremely important, particularly for the women who are not well-versed with the method of working of the female reproductive organs.

During a sexual union during the period of ovulation, all women (who are healthy and are in the age-range of conceiving a child) produce an egg or an ovum (during the menstrual cycle). When the male partner releases sperms in the female body via the vaginal canal, one of the sperms fertilizes this ovum, resulting in the formation of an embryo (or, fetus) of the lady.how to get pregnant best time to get pregnant days to get pregnant trying to get pregnant

Vaginal Discharge And Odor Posted By: Mark Richard

Vaginal discharge is a fluid or semisolid substance that flows out of the vaginal opening. Most women have vaginal discharge to some extent, and a small amount of vaginal discharge is a reflection of the body's normal cleansing process. The amount and type of vaginal discharge also varies among women and with the woman's menstrual cycle.

The amount of mucus produced by the cervical glands varies throughout the menstrual cycle. This is normal and depends on the amount of estrogen circulating in your body. It is also normal for the walls of the vagina to release some secretions. The amount depends on hormone levels in the body.

Help to prevent vaginal discharge:
a.Keep your genital area clean and dry.
b.Avoid douching. Many women suffer cleaner if they douche after menstruation or intercourse, it may actually worsen vaginal discharge because it take away healthy bacteria lining the vagina that are there to protect you from infection.
c.Use an over-the-counter cream or vaginal suppository, IF you know that you have a yeast infection.
d.Try to reduce stress.
e.Eat yogurt with live cultures or take Lactobacillus acidophilus tablets when on antibiotics to avoid a yeast infection.

Top Reasons Why You're Not Getting Pregnant Posted By: Charles Oakley Jnr

Many individuals and couples are often left struggling with pregnancy. It's something that they desire but yet they can't seem to make any progress or break through. It's important to be able to understand the processes at work and why you may not be enjoying the kind of success that you have been looking for. Here are some of the top reasons why you may not be getting pregnant.

1. Having Sex at the Wrong Time: Getting pregnant is all about being able to fertilize the egg, which means that you have to be having sex during ovulation when this is possible. Sex at any other time won't enable you to get pregnant, therefore it's of the utmost importance that you have sex at the right time. 2. Not Having Enough Sex: Of course in order to be having sex at the right time you need to be having enough sex to begin with. If you only have sex once in a while, you simply aren't giving yourself good odds of getting the job done.pregnant pregnancy ivf ivf treatment alternative ivf treatment getting pregnant why cant i get pregnant

Female Infertility Symptoms Posted By: Beauty and Health care

Many of the causes of female infertility are treatable. You and your partner may also consider other options, such as adoption or foster care of children. In fact the issues involved with female infertility are far more complex than male infertility. In fact, how to get pregnant fast can use the strategy of adoption.

The 3 usual locations for fibroids are: Subserosal which is on the outside surface of the uterus,Intramural which is with in the muscular wall of the uterus, and the last ones are the Submucous fibroids which bulge into the uterine cavity. This one is the problematic kind of fibroid because it is located inside the uterine cavity. That's not to say that fibroids that are situated near the fallopian tubes or cervix aren't a problem. Those prevent the sperm or even the fertilized egg from reaching the uterus and implanting there.

High basal body temperature for the first half of the cycle, on the other hand, may be the implication of either a hyperactive thyroid gland or low level of estrogen. While involution may be diagnosed when the temperature of the basal body does not balance by shifting upwards accordingly.causes of female infertility ovulation disorders reproductive system infertility

Top Tips For Helping You Get Pregnant Posted By: Stacey Wright

For some couples getting pregnant seems to be as easy as just having sex, for others it can be difficult and emotionally draining.

The key thing to remember is that biologically speaking it isn't all that easy to get pregnant, conditions have to be right, and understanding the basics can go a long way towards helping.

The first and most obvious tip is to make sure you are having sex at the times when you are most fertile. What is less obvious is how you determine when this is!
Follow these simple steps to help you understand what to do and when.

1. Watch the Calendar
Use a day planner or simple calendar to mark the day on which your period begins, and track how long each period lasts. If you have a regular 28 day cycle then you are likely to begin ovulating around 14 days after the day on which your last period started.
This is somewhat simplified, many women have a longer or shorter cycle so you may need to adjust, but this is a very easy and quick way to help remind you when you are likely to be at your most fertile.

2.basal charting pregnancy ovulation

Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy - Do Not Have Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy Until You Read This Posted By: J. Eileen Henry

Ovarian cysts are sacs filled with fluid and are located on, or around an ovary. Functional cysts are fairly common in women of child bearing age and they usually disappear without the need for treatment within a few weeks. Women who are past menopause and develop symptoms of an ovarian cyst however, should seek medical attention as soon as possible. Cancer will need to be ruled out in women of that age group. There are times though, that having a laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy may be required for any woman.

Many times, a doctor will take a wait and see approach to see if the cyst changes in size, and another pelvic exam is scheduled for six weeks or so, later. If the cyst has not gotten any smaller, or if it has not changed at all in size, the cystic ovary needs further investigation. A physician might also prescribe birth control pills to prevent ovulation for a functional cyst that is causing some symptoms, with the belief that the hormone levels will be altered and the cyst will shrink without the need for a surgery. Oral contraceptives also seem to prevent future cysts from forming.laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy laparoscopic cystectomy laparoscopic procedure ovarian cystectomy ovarian cysts ovarian cyst removal

Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy - What Can You Expect After A Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy? Posted By: J. Eileen Henry

Many times, if a woman has been diagnosed with ovarian cysts, their doctor may not do anything other than 'wait and see' if the cyst either shrinks, or disappears completely within one to three months. Other times, a physician may prescribe birth control pills so that ovulation is prevented, attempting to alter the hormone levels so that the cyst will shrink without the need for a laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy. There may be times also, that the doctor will attempt to drain the fluid from the cyst using a needle.

However, after unsuccessfully trying one or more of these different treatments, a laparoscopic operation may need to be performed. Because women are always on the go, one of the first questions asked after being told that surgery is needed is...'how long until I am back to normal...what will the recovery be like?laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy laparoscopic cystectomy laparoscopic procedure ovarian cystectomy ovarian cysts ovarian cyst removal

Do You Have Hormone Imbalance Symptoms? Posted By: Iris Caesar

If you feel any hormone imbalance symptoms and you're near the age of 45, you would need to use bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Hormone imbalance symptoms can be any one or more of of these: anxiety, allergy symptoms, depression, dizziness, endometriosis, fibrocystic breasts, foggy brain, loss of hair, headaches, low libido, osteoporosis, urinary tract infections, weight gain, and dry wrinkled skin. Simply said, all the frailties of old age.

These symptoms of hormone imbalance are caused primarily by the wrong relationship between progesterone and estrogen levels in the body. The 2 female hormones, estrogen and progesterone, live in a delicate balance. If there are changes in that balance, this can be a reason of a huge effect on one's health which would end up with symptoms of hormone imbalance. Putting in mind stress, nutrition, exercise and most importantly, ovulation or the lack there of, those are the basis on the amounts of hormones that women produce monthly.
