Basic Polo Shirts A Perfect Formal Wear Posted By: Prany Uppulri

Recently the corporate world is seen easing their dress codes for employees as they are given the liberty of wearing basic polo shirts as an alternative to formal wear. Polo shirts are very popular among men for its stylish yet formal look and the comfort it provides compared to the formal shirts and ties.

We no longer see men wearing formal shirts to office as companies have become more liberal with the dress code and now accept informal but decent clothing at work. As t-shirts are not considered a decent wear for work place, polo shirts are the best alternative for office wear. They are decent for a work place, comfortable compared to formal shirts and ties and easy to carry for any occasion.

Polo shirts also carry an advantage of uniformity. That is why we see them used as uniforms for most of the sports. The shirts can be personalized and thus all companies too have a common uniform bearing the companies logo or tag line or just a quote. They also serve as uniform at restaurants for all the waiters, especially at fast food corners. Their smartness and uniformity is one big advantage the polo shirts carry.Mens Polo Shirts Designer Polo Shirts Custom Polo Shirts

Eight Terrific Styles Of Scarves Posted By: Jeff T

A warm scarf keeps the cold out while spicing up your outfit. It could always play a major role of a wonderful finishing touch, no matter it is super long, super large, or short elegant style. You can easily spice up your winter clothing as long as you select the right scarf in the winter.

With days getting chillier, there is growing demand for knitted wool scarves. It is not just warm, as well as an extra layer in the overall level of knitting from a rough texture. The thick knitted patterns are full of romantic art and the beige scarf is more elegant.

Pink works for girls and mature women. A fashionable pink scarf offers much meaning with double sides, with one a complete light brown animal print and the other a combination of leopard patterns and colorful flowers. Light pink demonstrates the gentleness and charm of ladies, whilst leopard patterns demonstrate how sexy a lady is.

The European style is the solid color scarf in deep gray with a good texture and not splashy. Even with suit pants and jackets in a masculine design, it is still full of irresistible feminine and noble temperament.winter scarves mens scarves scarves silk scarves scarfneckties silk ties necktie shirtsneckties silk ties necktie shirts

The Transformation Of Modern Men Neckties Posted By: Jeff T

Neckties changed after the French Revolution. French men still love to wear neckties; in fact, a necktie is considered an essential piece in a French man's wardrobe. Far away from the modern tie, the necktie appeared during that time. This method of tying is unique in that it is wrapped around the neck and the ends are left to hang at random. Three or four ribbon knots of ties can have at that time. It may look funny now but it was the rule of etiquette at that time. By the eighteenth century, the Revolution proclaimed the end of noble court life and also brought the blooming glory of neckties. The ties added a bit of flash to mens clothing which had under gone a transformation from flashy to simple and plain. Suddenly, men with a tie is everywhere in Paris, regardless of noble or normal people. Byron, a famous poet, was no exception to this trend of fashion and was well known for his harsh stance on the method of wearing ties. Balzac is a big fan of neckties and he brought the promotion to the whole of France in 1827.neckties mens necktie ties men's tie silk tiesneckties silk ties necktie shirtsneckties silk ties necktie shirts

The Interesting History Of Men Ties Posted By: Jeff T

The Egyptians were the first culture to develop neckties, showing that this clothing item could be both mysterious and exotic. A long rectangular piece of fabric hangs over the shoulder and is wrapped about the neck. Neckties are supposedly similar to short shawls, or so the legend holds. In ancient Egyptian culture the necktie represents many things, including the wearer's place on the social hierarchy. Not the ordinary civilians, only the noble is eligible to wear it. Today's neckties had their origin from designs that were used in ancient Egypt's feudal system. It represents a clear class differentiation and is inherited through the necktie evolution.

Stories on the history of the necktie in Europe abound; the British tales are quite interesting. It is said that the first ties were created by ladies in Britain. From the food they are headache to the stains on the clothing of their husband. Clever ladies covered the collar with some fabric to avoid staining. This is important in case he needs to dab at his mouth. Moreover, for decorative purposes, several pebbles are tacked into the end of a gentleman's shirt sleeve.neckties necktie ties tie silk ties mens necktiesneckties silk ties necktie shirtsneckties silk ties necktie shirts

Where To Find The Best Bow Ties For Men Posted By: MITH

Men's bow ties have been around forever, but many men do not know how to pull off the look. When many of us think about men's bow ties we tend to think about a man dressed up in a penguin suit for a wedding, or a silly cartoon character who's bow tie spins out of control. In order to get a good understanding as to how and when to wear a bow tie, we will break down the different scenarios: the funky, the dressy and the business attire.

Funky Bow Ties

If you are a wild and crazy kind of guy, why not show it through your wardrobe? You do not have to go all out and wear a ridiculous looking outfit to show your funny side, all you need is a great statement piece, such as your bow tie. Bow ties come in all colors, but since you are looking for something different, why not go a little wacky, such as the Heroes bow tie from Beau Ties LTD of Vermont.men's bow ties Beau Ties LTD of Vermont Moda Formal Wear

Features Of Men's Bow Ties Posted By: Shanon Foster

A men's bow tie reflects the classic way of dressing. The reason why most of the men opt for a bow tie is the level of comfort it offers. Irrespective of the personality, the bow ties find to be a great match; either lean or fat. Apart from matching standards, they match perfectly to every occasion, be it either a marriage function or party. You may find people employ a bow tie the most even for professional purposes. It is a common sight to find men wearing a bow tie playing snooker or a ball game. There are even people who consider that the sign of wearing a bow tie is a mark of gentlemen.
If a bow tie is purchased with a matching handkerchief, it still increases the elegance of men's dressing sense. However, ensure enough care while choosing colours. There might be that you may end up with a mismatch and this eventually leading to a terrible mix up. According to recent trends in men's fashion, there has been a lot of changes in the way men dress up themselves.mens bowtie mens bowties

The Art Of Choosing The Perfect Mens Tie Posted By: Kate Stephen

The focal point of any men's suit is the tie, and it should therefore be carefully chosen to make the best possible impression.

There are size, colour and style issues that need to be considered, as well as a knowledge of what is already in your cupboard that will work well with the tie.

You must always start off by looking for a tie that is the corrent size. How tall you are is the most important factor. For men who are a little taller, the tie will obviously need to have some extra length.

A width of 8-9cm is fairly standard and will never go out of fashion.

If the tie is to be worn with a particular suit, the best option is to have the suit with you, either being worn or in a suit bag.

This will let you perfectly match the length and colour with the suit jacket.

If you will often be wearing the tie with no jacket on, or a sports jacket, the pants become a more important consideration.

Espeically where the tie is slightly more expensive, quickly scan for any defects - loose threads, stains, poor weaving etc.mens tie mens silk tie mens designer tie mens designer ties mens silk ties

How To Tie Winter Scarf Posted By: Jeff T

A scarf can be worn through the year by both sexes and is a striking accent to any ensemble. Winter scarves are made of different fabrics, such as cashmere, wool, silk, polyester, cotton. There are different ways to tie scarves of different textures. Here are four popular ways to tie scarves and each type shows the texture, occasion, color, and how to match with clothes.

The balance scarf knot works well on fringed wool or cotton scarves, designed to keep you snug in winter. Those scarves go well inside the loose outer wears. First, they can reduce the heavy sense from the jacket and maintain a relative balance; secondly, add beauty as well. The balance knot is a good option for anyone's scarf. The correct location to use this knot is outside. The ladies are more apt to go for the vibrant hues. Of course, you can have a lot more choices if you are young enough. For men the stable colors like dark blue or brown may be more fitting.
The Savvy Man's Style Guide To Jeans Posted By: Hendrik Pohl

Jeans used to be one of the easiest items in men's fashion to buy, right next to socks and that necktie for your dad's next birthday. Recently, though, that denim-clad style choice has gotten much, much harder. With the addition of countless new labels on every price point and the expansion of styles and cuts, today's jean market can be overwhelming. How is the savvy shopper to cope?

Know Your Priorities
Price is just one of the aspects where denims have expanded in the last decade. They now run the whole price point gamut from under $10 to just over $1,000 and every imaginable place in between. After all, you only get more quality the higher you go.

Yet even quality has limits. There will come a point where you're just spending more and more money without getting a considerable increase in quality - the point of diminishing returns. Once you spend past that point, you'll only be paying for brand equity, the value of the label on your pants. While that's justdandy for a lot in the fashion show crowd, it's not exactly practical, especially if you're the kind of guy who's after savvy style.mens jeans ties mens neckties kids silk ties

Three Style Sins In Winter Posted By: Hendrik Pohl

The rules of men's fashion don't get relaxed once the snow starts falling; edicts of style simply tend to get ignored more often as soon as the mercury drops. Wearing more pieces in your layers is no excuse to let your sense of good taste falter and fail. But then again, perhaps you've already committed one of the three faux pas below. With a few months left in the winter season, you haven't much time to rectify all your cold-weather errors.

Eskimo Fashion
Yes, it's cold. That, however, is no reason for you to go the whole hog and dress up like a traditional Eskimo, complete with igloo. Unless you live in the Arctic region, dump those overly thick furs and animal skins in the closet where they belong - they're not going to do you or your figure any favors.

Modern men's fashion uses a wide range of fabrics in every kind of garment, especially in outerwear. That means you don't have to choose sheer thickness if all you wanted was a little extra warmth in winter.mens fashion sins how not to dress fashion faux pas ties mens ties kids tie

Men's Style Conundrums: Skinny Pants Posted By: Hendrik Pohl

Many people in men's fashion are now telling you to stop making everything skinny. Skinny neckties, skinny shirts and even skinny jeans seem to have become the height of faux pas. Yet you probably see at least a few of those denims walking down the street everyday, and the guy wearing it still looks pretty cool. Should you follow what the style rags say, or go with what the cool kids on the street are doing?

Slim vs. Skinny
One distinction that must be made in this discussion is that very crucial one between slim and skinny fits. As skinny pants have been ridiculed and lambasted by the fashion press, slim fits continue to be hailed as the pinnacle of men's style. To the average guy who goes to the department store for his clothes, there might not be that much of a difference.

At their most absolute, a slim fit is a cut that skims over certain parts of your body, like your hips, thighs and knees. That is, there's still a minimum allowance of space in all the aforementioned areas. Skinny fits, meanwhile, hug those areas;mens skinny jeans and ties skinny neckties and pants for men

Men's Fashion With Christmas Spirit Posted By: Hendrik Pohl

The holidays are upon us once again, and that only means one thing: parties, dinners and get togethers of every kind. And you can bet next year's check that at least a couple of them will have some Christmas theme to them. But how do you balance style and dressing up for the occasion? Getting spiffy for the season might call for a different color palette, but it still uses the same set of fashion rules as any other time of year.

Colors of Christmas
Ever since the dawn of the Macy's-era Christmas, red and green have been the staple colors of the season. It's the standard palette that every department store and greeting card company uses to signal the start of the holidays. But that doesn't mean that you should adopt the colors as they are.

Donning all the style pieces you have in red or green merely courts disaster, as you'll likely end up looking like either a leprechaun or Rudolph's very red nose. While the fashion-friendly approach to Christmas does involve these colors, it doesn't rely on only these colors to build an entire outfit.

Other equally festive colors should play into your holiday style.mens christmans shopping bow ties handkerchiefs mens neck silken ties

Solutions To Black Friday Bargains Posted By: Hendrik Pohl

Black Friday (and Digital Monday with it) has come and gone, and you probably bagged yourself a couple of bargains in the process. There's really nothing like the Thanksgiving weekend for the fashion-conscious man. Yet you probably swiped your plastic for an item or two that you weren't completely happy about when you got back home. But don't give them to the Salvation Army just yet; there's hope for those clothes too.

Return It
Hopefully, you didn't remove the tag and chuck the piece in the wash before realizing that it just wasn't to your liking. Practices vary especially when deep discounts are involved, but many retailers will accept returns on buyer's remorse. Should you be lucky enough to have bought the item at a store that takes returns, you better have a replacement in mind; they're usually less fussy about giving store credit than they are about cold cash back.

Alter It
You bought it but can't (or don't want to) return it. Most post-Black Friday men fall into this category, especially when fashion is involved. Perhaps you really like the print on the tie, or you can't find the same shirt design in your size.black friday deals bargains on black friday mens silk ties mens fashion blogs

Style Shopping On Black Friday Posted By: Hendrik Pohl

Fashion mavens, men and women alike, all over the country always mark Black Friday on their calendars. It's that one predictable time of year when you can expect every men's fashion boutique to offer all sorts of promotions and deep discounts. But with crazy mobs lining up as early as 5AM, you've got to be methodical with your Black Friday bargain hunting. Here are some tips to getting the best styles for less.

Know Your Budget
Even if you'll be getting the clothes at big discounts, remember that you'll still be shelling out money for them. One crucial that you have to think about is the maximum amount of cash that you're willing to shell out for an item. That could range anywhere from $10 to $1,000 on a simple label-less necktie to a suit by a known men's fashion label.

Doing so enables you to make quicker and firmer decisions when you see something you want but aren't sure your wallet can't handle it.black friday shopping tips best deals on black friday ties pink neck silk ties
