The Kamla Nehru Zoo is undoubtedly one of the most popular attractions in the Indian city of Ahmedabad. The zoo is located on the banks of the Kankaria Lake, and is widely regarded as one of the best zoos in the country. The zoo is situated amidst lush greenery giving one a sense of peace and the nearby lake only adds to the serenity. Like most zoos Kamla Nehru Zoo houses many different species of birds, mammals and reptiles, but what sets it apart is the presence of many albino animals. This includes rare albino tigers. Three tigers, Smariddhi, Siddhi and Riddhi, were born at the zoo itself, but one of them passed away a few months after birth.

The park spans an area of around four thousand square feet, and is named after Kamla Nehru, the wife of Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister. However, the park is more popularly known as Chidiya Ghar. The zoological park was designed by Rueben David, the famed zoologist. Among the endangered species visitors are likely to run into here, are the Asiatic Lion, Chinkara and the Mouse Deer.
The Interrelationship Between Cells And Temperature Posted By: hxjqchina

Cells cannot remain alive outside certain limits of temperature and much narrower limits mark the boundaries of effective functioning. Enzyme systems of mammals and birds are most efficient only within a narrow range around 37C;Belt conveyora departure of a few degrees from this value seriously impairs their functioning. Even though cells can survive wider fluctuations the integrated actions of bodily systems are impaired.Cement plant Other animals have a wider tolerance for changes of bodily temperature.
For centuries it has been recognized that mammals and birds differ from other animals in the way they regulate body temperature. Ways of characterizing the difference have become more accurate and meaningful over time, but popular terminology still reflects the old division into AND quot;Impact crushing machinewarm-blooded AND quot; and AND quot;cold-blooded AND quot;Artificial sand washer species; warm-blooded included mammals and birds whereas all other creatures were considered cold-blooded.
Wildlife Conservation Projects - Protecting The Animal Species Posted By: Shomik Gupta

Mother Nature has bestowed upon us lush landscape, endless water bodies and a magnificent variety of flora and fauna. It is impossible to imagine a world without such wonderful endowments. To keep the natural cycle going, it is extremely essential to conserve the priceless elements of Planet Earth. However, it is disheartening and disappointing to see the beautiful animal species being endangered and threatened to life. We are losing the most beautiful creation of God only because of human carelessness and their irresponsible behavior. Animals are becoming extinct and vanishing away, the reason for which is loss of appropriate habitat, human interference, pollution and many such more causes. Wildlife conservation has become a critical issue of national importance.

Thankfully, the governments and national authorities have now become sensitive about this issue and many positive steps are being taken to protect and conserve the beautiful fauna of the world. The wildlife comprises of all those non-cultivated and non-domesticated animals that live in their natural habitat. Mammals, birds and reptiles all come under the category of wildlife. However, due to irrational human activities, the lives of these innocent creatures are being threatened.Wildlife species Wildlife Conservation projects

Br Hills ' Posted By: Flin Martyn

BR Hills or Biligiri Rangana Hills is a picturesque natural beauty, offering the prefect escape from the concrete jungle of cities to relax and rejuvenate amidst a natural and un-spoilt region. BR Hills is a dense hill range, located in-between the Cauvery and Kapila Rivers, in the south eastern part of Karnataka bordering Tamil Nadu. The hill from which the region derives its name lies in the Yelandur and Kollegal Taluks of Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka. The region offers tourists the opportunity not only to relax and rejuvenate but, also to spot the wide species of flora and fauna in the region.

For recreation, the main attractions offered by the region include the BRT Wildlife Sanctuary and the Billigiri Rangana Swamy Temple. The BRT Wildlife Sanctuary sits at the confluence of the Western and the Eastern Ghats and supports a large variety of flora and fauna. The sanctuary was built in 1974 and spreads in an area of 539.52 sq km.BR Hills Hotels Hotels in BR Hills BR Hills
