Cardinals Lf Matt Holliday Gets Moth Stuck In Ear Posted By: icefire

This was a different sort of injury bug for Matt Holliday(notes).

In a bizarre episode, a moth got stuck deep in Hollidays right ear, forcingthe St. Louis Cardinals star to walk off the field while the Los Angeles Dodgersbatted in the eighth inning Monday night.

With two outs, Holliday called time in left field and started toward thedugout holding his ear. Cardinals trainer Barry Weinberg met Holliday and triedto help.

He had a moth fly into his ear, deep into his ear. I dont even know whathappened to it, St. Louis manager Tony La Russa said moments after his teams2-1 loss.

Team spokesman Brian Bartow said Holliday was taken into a dark room andtrainers put a light by his ear, trying to lure the insect out. That didntwork, so they used a utensil to get the moth, which was still alive, out ofHollidays ear.

Holliday was not available for comment after the game but appeared to be OK,Bartow said. Corey Patterson(notes) replaced Holliday in the field.

Holliday has been on the disabled list twice this season. The All-Starslugger has missed time because of an appendectomy and quadriceps injury.

The Dodgers rallied in the ninth to beat St. Louis.nfl jerseys supply

Business Expenses, There Is A Reason For Them Posted By: Art Gib

As a business there are several things you have to think about and things that take your money. Some of the obvious things that you have to pay out of your income as a business are wages for your employees and then the inventory that you need to run your business. Then there are the other things that you have to pay out like the payment for the building that you are leasing or buying. Then you have the utilities for your building. Phone expenses, power, water and some of those other necessities are things that have to be paid.

Then there are the supplies that you need for your employees. Whether that is computers, printers, phones, desks and other supplies. These all become overhead that you have to figure into your expenses. If you collect sales tax then you end up filing reports and paying out the sales tax. That is an in and out, but you have to account for that when you are figuring your income and profits.

At the end of the year you have your company taxes due if you made a profit.workers compensation Des Moines

British Columbia Fishing Lodge Posted By: Caverhill

For the fishing adventure of a lifetime, you owe it to yourself to experience the unique wilderness luxury of a British Columbia fishing lodge vacation. Whether you are looking for world-class saltwater salmon fishing or incredible fly-fishing on crystal-clear mountain streams and pristine, wilderness lakes, British Columbia can offer an amazing variety of top level fishing adventures. In addition, unlike the fishing trips of by-gone days, British Columbia fishing lodges provide luxurious comfort and fine dining in the heart of one of the world's most spectacular wilderness settings.
As you probably know, the Canadian province of British Columbia, or B.C. as it is called locally, possesses one of the largest and most varied areas of pristine wilderness in the world. More than twice the size of California, it is populated by only 4.3 million people, leaving a lot of spare room for wilderness and fish! Some of the best fishing in the world is located within its boundaries. The lush, mountainous coastline is blessed with great saltwater fishing for salmon, not to mention the less glamorous, but tasty species such as halibut and cod.fly fishing lodge freshwater fly fishing british columbia

Loney, Dear: The Soothing Swedish Indie Music Artist Posted By: Karina Daniel

Sweden is a place where more indie music artists could be found per square mile than any other place in the world. The Swedish music scene has gradually and steadily infiltrated the music world through performers like Jens Lekman, The Cardigans, The Hives, and Peter Bjorn and John.

In addition, there is also Emil Svanangen, one-man home-recording wonder and a known multi-instrumentalist. In his tiny Stockholm apartment, he works and records his pieces just like cooking precious pop gems. With that, he has sold numerous copies of his first three albums on his website, on CD-R and other mp3 blogs. The artist shows business using the enigmatic nom de plume which is Loney, Dear. He is an adorable geek whose folk jazz sound is difficult to get enough of.

The American indie tag Sub-Pop Records in 2007 released Svanangen's first studio album entitled "Loney, Noir". His cracked, captivatingly longing, and almost squirmy high-pitched voice is infatuating. He sings whole heartedly covering about relationships, love found, and love lost with intense tenderness.

The disc opens with the delicate and fragile, "Sinister in the State of Hope".loney dear swedish indie indie-music artist swedish music scene pop gems mp3 blogs folk jazz sound

Halloween Fright Spooks And Giggles Posted By: Jerry Glynn

"Tomb it may concern", it is time for fright, spooks and giggles.

When the spirits were living among us, Halloween was born. It was over 2,000 years ago and the Celts wore masks to avoid being recognized by the fall spirits. Bowls of food, the first Halloween candy, were placed outside to keep the ghosts happy. Today on Halloween parents encourage their own little ghosts and goblins to haunt the neighborhood. It is time to get disguised.

The best costumes are home made and do not have to be the traditional ghost or goblin. It is always fun to be a cultural icon like Colonel Sanders. Get a white suit, white goatee and grab a bucket of Kentucky Fried chicken. Or be a head roast. Get a box, put a silver roast pan on it and decorate the top of the box like a dinner table. Glue some plastic candlesticks, some salt and pepper shakers. Then, cut a hole in the roast pan and box for your head. Be sure to add some potatoes and tomatoes to garnish. Beware of your friends because youll be a perfectly ghoulish meal. My favorite costume is baby sushi.halloween e cards halloween ecards halloween greeting cards free halloween e cards

Los Angeles Dodgers Tickets Posted By: Rich Stephenson

The Los Angeles Dodgers added manager Joe Torre who was not happy with the Yankees as he was not offered more then a 1 year extension on his contract. With the Dodgers having young talent it was not thought they would even have a chance to make it to the playoffs. Then the Dodgers added third baseman Casey Blake who came from the Cleveland Indians in a trade where they just traded away a couple minor league players. Already in the short time Casey Blake has come to the LA Dodgers he has made a big impact. In the 18 games Casey Blake has played so far as a Dodger he is batting .275 and has 9 RBI's with 3 home runs and 19 hits with just 69 at bats. Far better then any third baseman the Dodgers have had this season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers didn't stop there acquired Manny Ramirez future hall of famer and a 7 time All-Star just before the baseball trade deadline in a 3 way deal where the Boston Red Sox acruired jason Bay and a minor league infielder.Dodgers Tickets Los Angeles Dodgers Tickets Los Angeles Dodgers Dodgers Baseball Baseball

Children\'s Toys Cost Parents A \'small Fortune\' Posted By: Mark Dawson

British children\'s bedrooms are being increasingly filled with expensive items, new research indicates.

A study conducted by Lloyds TSB Insurance reveals that the typical child currently has goods to the value of 1,720 pounds in their room - a rise of seven per cent from the 1,607 pounds recorded last year.
Meanwhile, one in ten young people have toys and technology worth more than 3,000 pounds. Overall, such possessions across the country account for a \"whopping\" 25.4 billion pounds. However, the financial services firm indicated that the value of children\'s rooms could be set to rise further after this Christmas. The claims come as some 90 per cent of mums and dads are on track to spend up to 500 pounds on presents for their offspring, with a low-rate loan one possible way of funding such expenditure.

In addition, about one in 20 parents believe that the contents within their son or daughter\'s rooms are more expensive than the items in their kitchen or lounge. Research from the firm also revealed that 70 per cent of kids have a television in their room, while just over half (53 per cent) have a DVD player.with increased value christmas presents britons should ensure adequate insurance

Tried Fast Weight Loss Diets And Been Disappointed Here's Why? Posted By: Graham Foster

So you want to go on a fast weight loss diet? Almost all of us have felt this way at some time or another its just the way we assume things have to be done. Maybe it's some holiday weight you want to work off fast for this years vacation, or maybe you've just decided that you would feel and look a lot better with a little less bulk around your tummy or butt. Whatever the reason, losing weight fast diet methods can sometimes be difficult.

I am not an advocate of fast weight loss diets for most people they can be too restrictive and many people have been know to become unwell losing weight to quickly. My view is that generally trying to lose weight over anything less than 2 weeks can be counter productive and may put you off trying to lose weight all together.

The temptation is to try and lose the weight as quickly as possible and then get back to normal but this seldom works and any weight lossis generally not sustained for more than a few weeks.fast weight loss weight loss pills diets slimming weight loss books lose weight healthy living exercise women mens health care diet exercise eating fo
