How To Motivate Employees Posted By: Adriana Noton

Do you find your employees only doing a half-hearted job? Do you feel that job satisfaction is dropping in your business? If so, you are not alone. Many people report lack of motivation among their employees, and often wonder what to do about it. The good news is that you can motivate your employees to work hard for you again. You simply need to know how to speak their language.

Show Personal Care

In general, people work hard to please those who care about them. Why else does a small child work excessively hard to please Mom, Dad or Teacher? Take the time to show personal care to your employees, and they will stay motivated.

This requires paying attention to your employees. Is one employee dealing with a sick parent? Ask about it, and offer to make the schedule flexible so they can be away when needed. Is one employee doing a particularly good job with customers? Then give them one of your most important accounts to work, pointing to the good work you have observed.Employment Work Job temp jobs jobs career society business skills training salary recruit

Dwarka As A Holy City And Its Fascinating Temples Posted By: David Urmann

Dwarka is both a municipality and a city situated along the Gujarats Jamnagar district. This city is noted as the dwelling place of the Lord Krishna. It is now the 7th city to be built in the region because the sea damaged and destroyed the previous cities a total of 6 times already.

Dwarka as a Holy City
Dwarka comes from the word dvar which means gate or door in the Sanskrit language. It is regarded as one of the holiest cities among Hindus. It is also one of the 4 major dhams which include Puri, Badrinath and Rameshwaram.

Dwarka also houses the Jagatmandir Temple that holds the Dwarkadhish, a kind of Krishna. Aside from this temple, the Nageshwar Jyotirling is also found here, one of Lord Shivas 12 holy shrines.

Characteristics of Dwarka
Vishwakarma built the city of Dwarka on the order of Lord Krishna. Its land was actually reclaimed from the sea along the Saurashtras western shores. This means, Dwarka is a planned city along the Gomati Rivers banks.

Another name for Dwarka is Dvaravati, Dvaramati and Kushsthali. It features 6 organized sectors, commercial and residential zones as well as plazas, wide roads and palaces among others.about Dwarka Dwarka as a Holy City Characteristics of Dwarka Dwarka Places of Interest

Are Registered Nurses Jobs For You? Posted By: Adriana Noton

Registered nurses are people that enjoy helping others in many different ways with their medical needs. They work as a team with the patient's doctors, while at the same time helping their families emotionally. It is their responsibility to record the patient's medical information, and do a number of other things that their specific registered nurses jobs require.

From 2006 through 2016, there will be a 23 percent growth in nursing jobs, according to statistics. There isn't any other occupation with that high of growth rate. The need for more registered nurses grows daily.

There are three different ways to become a registered nurse. There are courses taking two to four years to complete, depending on where you study. The longest course is offered by colleges or universities. The shortest course is offered by Community or Junior colleges. Both hospitals and Community colleges offer courses for three years. Most wages are determined by the amount of time a nurse has studied. Four year courses allow nurses to work in administrative positions.

There is a wide open field of nursing jobs available for registered nurses.Medical Jobs health Career Nursing Human Resources Staffing agency jobs travel nurse

Glass Cutting Techniques For Custom Installations Posted By: Stephen Daniels

Glass is an essential element in the home that is often taken for granted. Windows, doors, coffee tables, shelves, shower doors, fireplace glass and more parts of a home rely on glass for looks, safety, and keeping out the elements. When one of these items breaks or needs replacement, a basic understanding of standard glass size installations and glass cutting techniques for custom projects can be quite useful.

Glass for most windows, doors, mirrors and other pieces comes in a range of standard sizes. Standard sizes are used because they are less expensive due to mass production. It is easy for designers and contractors to select the right standard size for most projects and replacements. With a little maneuvering, a standard window, for example, will fit tightly into a standard opening and result in a clean installation that looks good, is airtight and water tight.

However, there are probably several glass items in your home that are not a standard size. In these cases, more care must be taken to ensure that the custom glass is sized and installed correctly. Large picture windows, mirrors, and custom shower doors are likely to require a custom piece of glass.glass cutting salt lake city glass cutting techniques custom glass installation

All About Harsh Discipline For Your Kids Posted By: Alvin Mitchell

Recent studies suggest that low-income parents tend to endorse much harsher discipline, partially because they hold stronger beliefs about the value of spanking and experience higher levels of stress.
However, parents who work in high-stress jobs or are stay-at-home parents who are feeling frustrated or isolated are also at risk. It's imperative that parents recognize their tendency to punish a child too severely and take the needed steps to make sure the punishment is appropriate for their child's age, temperament and maturity level.

The study's finding showed that parents from lower income levels or work high pressure jobs are more stressed, and they react more emotionally to their child's behavior, and thus use harsher discipline. A parent in this situation may benefit from outside assistance and learning about alternative disciplinary strategies that are more appropriate and less harsh.

It's also important for a parent to realize that children thrive on praise. Parents in such a situation may always jump to discipline but fail to praise their child for their good deeds, behaviors and traits. Children instinctively want to please their parents and make them proud.family home genealogy history friends baby family tree

How To Find Your Perfect Career Posted By: hando kroon

Choosing a career path is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make but how do you decide what is right for you? You may take a career path that uses the skills you have or the education you've gotten. You may even choose a career based on what you think you "should" do because of what your parents or teachers have told you is right for you. But you may not know that you are naturally more suited for some careers than for others. Why? Each of us has an individual personality type that affects how much we'll like a job.

Think, for instance, about a carpenter versus a counselor. A carpenter works with concrete objects, according to specified procedures, and has a tangible result. A counselor works with people and their feelings; she has to judge success and the results of her work based on abstract concepts. Which of these sounds more appealing to you? Do you have a strong preference for one or the other?

Now, imagine if you had to make your less-preferred choice your career, and you will get an idea of the impact that your personality has on your job satisfaction.career test job personaltiy test job career personality type become training courses

The Benefits Of Having A Multicultural Team Of Pharmacists Posted By: Adriana Noton

Today, multiculturalism has become an important element of our society. Cities, town, and small rural communities, are now much more culturally diverse. The impact of multiculturalism has been felt across most industries, including the medical industry. One profession where the use of multicultural teams has become essential is Pharmacy.

Pharmacists are one group of medical professionals that are working directly with the community, especially those pharmacists that work in retail pharmacy, hospitals, and community health organizations. The strategic importance of a multicultural team of pharmacists with diverse cultural backgrounds not only benefits the community, but also the pharmacy team.

There are a number of benefits to having a multicultural team of pharmacists serving a community. A diverse team offers a variety of different ideas and thoughts that can result in better health care solutions. That is, the unique cultural backgrounds of a team of pharmacists can better identify and resolve problems. How each pharmacist assesses and analyzes a situation can result in bringing in fresh, new, and innovative ideas which allows others to gain different perspectives. The outcome is improved service to the community.health pharmacy job career pharmacist business education pharmacology professional

Online Criminal Background Check - An Easy Way To Ensuring Your Safety Posted By: Carolyn Anderson

Indeed, you can do an online criminal background check at the comforts of your own home. It is also a cheaper way to find personal information than hiring a private investigator to do it for you.

You can even research a person's background through the search engine but of course, it may not be complete and specific unlike those public records that are sourced from agencies and from official records.

An online criminal background check can be helpful in protecting your kids from possible sex offenders in the neighborhood as well as protecting your kids by hiring nannies who are competent enough for their jobs. Of course, we all want our homes and our office to be free from violence and crime, thus giving a little more effort in doing an online criminal background check can be very beneficial indeed.

Doing a background check is important particularly in hiring a nanny, hiring an employee of your small business or company and even in checking new neighbors or checking if there are sex offenders residing within your new neighborhood or nearby.online criminal background checks complete background checks employment background search

Enlisting In The Army: How To Prepare For The Asvab Test Posted By: Chris Harmen

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is a qualification that anyone interested in Army enlistment will have to achieve. The ASVAB scores applicants in four areas, Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension and Mathematics Knowledge, in order to ensure high quality servicemen and women enter the armed forces.

The ASVAB is more than just a test or an obstacle to overcome. High scores ensure that the military knows how qualified each applicant truly is. This translates into greatly improving the chances that each recruit can get the specialty job that they want along with the best sign-on bonuses for Army enlistment.

Let's take a look at some of the best strategies to prepare and excel at the ASVAB.

Schedules And Study Plans

Like any complex task, preparing for an exam requires a solid plan and study schedule. Setting out a time line to allow sufficient time to study is essential; cramming at the last moment will not work for the ASVAB. Lie out each topic and section of the exam on a time line and tackle each task one at a time.Army enlistment Army

A Review Of The Enticing Benefits The Army Offers To Those With Prior Military Experience Posted By: Chris Harmen

After leaving active duty, many soldiers end up missing the camaraderie and discipline they find in the armed services. Since there is no higher honor than serving one's country, many former active duty personnel find that calling irresistible. The military also offers some of the best training and educational experiences for advancement in both military and civilian careers. For these reasons, and many more, many former soldiers are rejoining the service.

Returning to serve the United States today can also be one of the most lucrative decisions one can make. Army enlistment for those with prior experience is an excellent idea with a new series of benefits for signing up again. As long as one has an eligible reenlistment code, there are typically few bars to enlistment.

Returning to active duty can be a complex situation, and many former servicemen and women typically have many questions about a second Army enlistment. There are many options for service in each branch of the military, each with different benefits and requirements. Let's explore some of the most common questions and situations that many will encounter.Army enlistment Army

Telecommuting Jobs - Without Answering The Phone Posted By: Garen Arnold

It seems in this online 'work from home' community that there are an abundance of home-phone jobs. However, just browsing the internet, via blogs, forum, and even classified ads; I have seen people seeking telecommute jobs, but answering the phone is not practical for a lot of telecommuters. Maybe you are a work-from-home mother or have children running around. In this article I am going to discuss different options even if you have no experience.

No experience, that is A-ok.

You can easily take advantage of a course online, and get your skills up to par on Excel or even Word. Better yet you can go to YouTube and find free video tutorials that will aid you in getting your skills back up to par. Personally, I am a freelance web designer and I view tutorials all the time on YouTube to help polish my design skills, this same rule applies to telecommute jobs; watch videos and start improving your skills.

How Soldiers Benefit From Army Enlistment Posted By: Chris Harmen

Today's soldiers receive the best training and support today than in any other era of armed services. The military puts a heavy investment on each individual soldier, just as every enlisted person makes the same commitment to serve their country. Army enlistment benefits are some of the most generous ever seen to create a well rounded, inspired volunteer armed forces.

Benefits today for enlistment fall under three categories. Education benefits for enlistment through the GI Bill and Army College Fund are the best ways for many Americans to receive a comprehensive education. There are a number of pay benefits including salary, performance and training bonuses. Finally, there are numerous benefits to help soldiers and their families deal with relocation and life on or near military bases.

Education Benefits

The highlight of Army enlistment benefits, the military provides a staggering amount of support for higher education. Education benefits come in many forms. Under the Montgomery GI Bill - Active Duty, active duty soldiers receive a monthly benefit to attend nearly any degree, certification, or training program full time, including distance and correspondence learning.Army enlistment Army

Street Repair And Servicing: Necessary And Constant Posted By: Art Gib

On of the purposes of city officials besides keeping cities safe and secure is to insure good drivable roads for its citizenry. In less temperate climates this can be a challenge with snow removal and damage done to the streets by snowplows, ice and salt. Heavy trucks are another strain on streets along with heavily trafficked areas. Street repairs are constantly underway causing road blocks and inconvenience to drivers, but these are necessary to ensure safety.

There are many areas of city government that tax payers never see and really aren't too interested in, but road repair and conditions are a visual reminder of the taxes we all pay. People want good, clean, dry, safe, pot hole free streets and they want the city officials to stay current on these projects.

Surface repair and line painting are among the simplest of street jobs, a layer of tar or other adhesive can fix cracks in no time. Resurfacing a street is a one day job with a fresh coat of asphalt applied for smoother drivability. There is often a rotating schedule in place for maintaining neighborhoods and surface streets.valve boxes

Sliding Doors -inter-dimensional Doorway To Universal Abundance Posted By: Meg Benedicte

There seems to be a strong movement in popular culture in recent years about how to "tap" into Universal Abundance...lots of books, videos and lectures abound on the subject. And yet, it doesn't appear many folks are achieving success in mastering the Law of Attraction. In many cases, it appears that our economy is actually degrading and that more and more Americans are feeling the pinch!

In many ways, it looks like the souls seeking a higher calling in life are suffering the most. Why is it that so many Lightworkers are struggling to earn a living? How come they are not able to translate soul purpose into bucks in the bank? Believe me, it's becoming a serious issue! How many stories have you heard of talented, insightful, and gifted beings losing their homes, jobs, friends, loved ones, and financial stability?

We cannot ignore the fact that this appears to be a symptom of Ascension. Not only do we journey through the "dark night of the soul" as we gradually overcome the controlling ego, but we experience the collapse of life as we knew it. Our "old" life comes crashing down!spirtuality ascension sacred geometry law of attraction abundance

Anti-wrinkle Solutions For Achieving That Youthful Look Posted By: Uchenna Ani-Okoye

It's often said that beauty is wasted on the young. I never understood this until I hit my early 40's, which is when the first major signs of aging became apparent. You know the kind of thing, a neck that starts to wobble just under the chin and those lines on the forehead and around the eyes that are slow to shallow after a facial expression. These are the first signs of aging.

I understand now why getting senior is such an unpleasant experience (visually), and why so many of us are slow to accept it as an instinctual part of being. When we're young, that's all we know, so we have nothing to compare our youth to. Young souls don't treasure taught skin, lineless faces, and thick crops of hair, because that's just the way it is always been. If we're old of course, we can compare how we are now with how we used to be, and it is this yearning for our youthful good looks which make us rebel against the aging process. The entrepreneurs of the 21st century have developed their fortunes out of folks just like me.Anti Wrinkle Solutions For Achieving That Youthful Look Anti Wrinkle Solutions

Joining The Army: A Look At The Oath Of Enlistment Posted By: Chris Harmen

There are some oaths that people do not take seriously; they are merely repeated without much meaning. When it comes to the ultimate service for one's country and fellow countrymen, the Oath of Enlistment is not just lip service. Army enlistment and federal law requires the speaking of this Oath; it is a sacred institution that every member of the armed services should be proud to recite and honor through every action they take.

The First Oath

The Oath was introduced by the first patriots this country ever saw, those brave souls who fought for our independence starting in 1775. The Continental Congress established the first Oath that fateful summer when our democracy was declared. The enlisted men of the first Continental Army pledged their service to the first American army and armed service ever created. This first Oath was only for a one year term of service, but over time nearly every man came back for the entire length of the struggled for independence. One can only imagine what it must have felt like to speak the first Oath before an American hero such as George Washington or Nathanael Greene and to breathe life to our country.Army enlistment Army

Career Tips Finding Your Dream Job Posted By: hando kroon

No one wants to toil out the majority of their days in a job that pays poorly and from which you derive no sense of joy or satisfaction. Most of us dream of a job in one field or another that allows us to live comfortably and still have a sense of accomplishment and a fulfillment of purpose at the end of the day. The good news is, those jobs are out there, but you will have to follow some basic rules in order to land the job of your dreams.

The first tip for getting that perfect job is to decide what it is that you would consider a dream job. You might be surprised to learn that in fact, a majority of people do not like the jobs they have chosen. Studies have shown that the average person will switch careers about five times during their lifetime, so you may want to keep an open mind about what exactly your dream job will entail. Often once you get into the job you will find that there are more options in that field you would like to take advantage of.new career employment vacancies role position company work jobs recruitment job centres in
