The Easy Way To Insulate Your Home Posted By: Matt Helphrey

Making sure that your home is well insulated is a good idea considering the amount of money it will save you in energy costs. And trust me when I say it will make a HUGE difference. And adding insulation is not that difficult to do. Granted it is somewhat of a dirty job, you should still be able to do it yourself with little or no problems.

First, there are a few things that you can't or at least shouldn't do this job without. It is important to use goggles and layered clothing when working with insulation. A special face mask should be worn as well to keep the fiberglass, dust, and any other chemicals out of your lungs.

I won't go into too much detail about why fiberglass insulation is always among the first choices as far as insulation is concerned. Just know that it does what it is supposed to do better and more efficiently than its competitors. It also comes at a somewhat cheaper price as well.

One of the major drawbacks though of working with fiberglass is that it will poke and pry you if you are not careful.home insulation
