European Countries, Go For It Posted By: Christine Woodad

If you will Europe, and intending to traveling, instead of staying in the 1 place during your trip, and you do not desire to invest a fortune, there is two or three alternative methods that you can travel all through the continent.

The initial alternative maybe to take what you may perhaps call the " traditional conventional" spending budget alternative, which would usually be backpacking and traveling by train. Nothing wrong with that at all, and by using a pass on the trains (known as a Eurailpass, and obtainable in the USA from http://www.raileurope.com/eurorail/index.htm ) you'll be able to undoubtedly reduce your spending, whilst journeying widely throughout a lot of countries.

You can find, nevertheless, a number of down sides to this traditional conventional "budget" planning.

1st, whilst it can usually be exhilarating and exciting to meet and travel with strangers on a train, equally, sometimes, it's nice to have your own space to appreciate the journey, on your own.

Secondly, by definition, trains can just take you as far as the railway station, and railway stations aren't constantly placed where you want them to be placed.European Countries EU travel vacation travel guide tourist tour tips to travel

Cheap Train Fares That You Must Not Miss Posted By: Brian Jones

Inexpensive train fares were once difficult to acquire but it is not so anymore. There are several reasons why individuals opt to commute by way of train:

It is comfortable since you are able to walk around and stretch your leg. You can also make new friends.

It is a very quick means of traveling. With train travel you get to bypass long traffic and long security lines at airports.

Traveling by train is quite exploratory. You get to enjoy the scenery from suburbs to cities, from forests to lakes and mountains to valleys.

It is often cheaper to travel by train than buying fuel to drive long distances or buying airplane tickets.

Trains contaminates to a lesser extent than aircrafts as they discharge less carbon dioxide in the air.

Various countries have different agents and means to obtain inexpensive fares:

1.Europe - commonly called the home of inexpensive train travel. Europe has many rail passes to different countries in the continent. It is mostly available to commuters outside of Europe.Cheap Train Fares Train tickets train travel

Getting Around In Europe - Trains Planes And Automobiles Posted By: Matthew Reider

If you vacation in Europe, the trip over and back is often only a small part of the transportation planning process. With so much to see in a relatively compact area, you'll no doubt want to move around within Europe to take full advantage of the opportunity.

The good news is that once you've reached Europe you'll find that discount airlines and cheap fares to move throughout Europe are plentiful. For example, a recent check of airfare between London and Barcelona found fares as low as around $40.00 one-way.

There are a number of low cost airlines in Europe that normally sell tickets through their own web site or over the telephone, but rarely through travel agents. You'll book your ticket and pay for it at the same time, receiving an electronic ticket that you must take to the airport for the flight. Among several no-frills airlines operating throughout Europe the most active are EasyJet and RyanAir. Travel sites suck as www.canuckabroad.com can quickly give you the flight options as well.

But while flying can be a quick way to travel from place to place in Europe, don't forget how great travel by train can be.eurail eurorail cheap flights travel europe europe travel hotels

Accommodation Tips For Backpackers : How To Choose A Hostel ? Posted By: ersan erdem

Backpacking is a form of low-cost, independent travel which provides young people to enjoy the fun of travelling without spending huge amounts of money. The factors that traditionally differentiate backpacking from other forms of tourism include use of public transport (mostly trains) as a means of travel, preference of youth hostels to luxury hotels, length of the trip,, use of a heavy loaded backpack, an interest in meeting the locals as well as seeing the sights. Europe can be considered as a backpacker heaven for both prices and ease of transportation. Railway passes like Interrail and Eurorail are widely used in Europe which allows unlimited train travels in a specific amount of days.

Accommodation Options For Budget Travelers

Since the logic of backpacking is "spend less so that you can travel more", hostels, B AND B's and camping grounds are top 3 accommodation options. Hostels provide budget-oriented accommodation where guests can rent a bed, sometimes a bunk bed in a dormitory and share a bathroom, lounge and sometimes a kitchen. Rooms can be mixed gender or single-sex, although private rooms may also be available if you are willing to pay higher prices for it.hostel backpacking budget travel hostels backpackers interrail travel europe

Traveling Through Europe Posted By: Jonathon Hardcastle

The summer of 2005, my friend and I decided to apply for a summer program as part of our graduate degree and travel from United States to Europe and specifically to Brugges in Belgium, so as to attend an intensive seminar at The College of Europe on Politics, Policies, Lobbying and the European Union. Although I have never visited Belgium before, I was really excited to discover, while browsing the internet, that I was about to visit one gorgeous and historical city of the "Old Continent," while enhancing my academic knowledge and meeting new people.

Before leaving the US we printed any information we could find regarding the city's tourist locations, interesting cafes and historic buildings. Although Brugges is a very small town, it offers a lot of possibilities to those interested in exploring its excitements. But even if it surpassed our expectations, visiting only one European town or country seemed a waste for such a trip. Thus, we decided in advance to research the opportunities a young graduate student has while traveling around in Europe and the most convenient, cheap and interesting way to go from city to city and country to country was via train.Traveling summer program tourist locations interesting cafes historic buildings traveling
