Woo-Hoo! Down 4.2 Lbs- from 213 to 208.8. Yay! So I've gotten through the first week. That's a good thing. I'll be honest, the first 3 days were really really hard. Actually it's still hard but I'm pushing on. I learned some things- I don't like to cook, I need to chew and I am determined to lose weight! So, today is the first day of my new diet. I wanted to get a lap band, but my insurance wouldn't cover it, and $15,000 out of pocket is just a little bit much for me. 

So after a period of depression that I couldn't take the path I had my heart set on, I finally woke up and remembered that my objective was to lose weight. I could still do that. So I started a new program. It's a combination of meal replacements, and low carb, high protein portion controlled meals. 

As I write this it's dinner time.
