History Of Surat In Maharashtra Posted By: Suhaina Mazhar

Surat is one of the largest metropolitan areas of Gujarat in India. One more name of Surat stands out as Suryapur. The historical past of Surat starts from seventh century AD when the Western Chalukyas dominated over this specific region. There is a point out about this city in the great epic Mahabharata. It is believed that while Lord Krishna moved from Mathura to Dwaraka, he paused at this place. It was known as Lata zone and was ruled over by the Maurya Kings. Kshatrapas who held sway for a small time frame was defeated by Chandragupta.

Qutbuddin Aibak captured this specific spot. The Parsi settlement began in 12th century. Commerce blossomed here during this period bringing about the riches. The Islamic men and women of medieval times used Surat as being a gateway to Mecca to carry out their Hajj pilgrimage. The ancient buildings the Makkai Pul plus the Mughal Sarai had been developed for this specific purpose. The pilgrims used to remain there whenever they embarked on their journey.

Surat had not been a place of value till 13th century.Surat Surat photos Surat videos

Ayurveda- Where It All Began! Posted By: Alvin Tim

Ayurveda is the science of life, the origin of most forms of natural and alternative medicine. 'Ayu' meaning life is the combination of body, senses, mind and soul and Ayurveda is the most sacred science of life. Ayurveda originates from the Vedas, Atharva Veda in particular and is connected to the Hindu religion.

The earliest source of Ayurveda are the verses of Rig Veda which refer to Panchamahabhut(the 5 basic elements of entire creation) and the 3 doshas as the comprising elements of Ayurveda. During 4000 to 3000 B.C., Samaveda and Yajurveda, the second and third Vedas came into existence. Chants and performance of rituals were the highlight of these two Vedas. The Atharva Veda has numerous hymns lauding herbs. During this period, plants were worshipped as deities

Other early works of Ayurveda include the Charaka Samhita, Susrut Samhita and Ashtang Hridaya.

Charaka Samhita is attributed to Charaka. It is considered to be the most ancient and authoritative writing on Ayurveda available today. It explains the logic and philosophy on which this system of medicine is based. According to Charaka Samhita, Ayurveda has been constantly evaluated, verified and fine-tuned by an active community of physicians.pune spa spa in koregaon park

Raising Beef Cattle - Be Aware Of The Different Cow Breeds Before You Even Begin Rearing Cattle Posted By: Tim Smith

Raising beef cattle can be very different from dairy cattle farming. The beef cows, also called feeder cattle, are way bigger. Even though the main reason for beef cattle farming in order to gain profits is for the meat manufacture, there are a lot of other things which the particular cattle are utilized for. There is not a great amount that is not utilized from cattle if they are traded to meat businesses. The cattle are really warily slaughtered, and extreme care is provided when they are being skinned. The cattle's hides are utilized in all types of leather merchandise, and the insides are utilized in cosmetics and shampoos. The beef meat is sliced into ground beef, roasts, ribs, and steaks.

The listing of cattle meat is really long and a number of kinds are more well-known than others, such as the Long Horn, the Hereford, the Brahman, and the Black Angus.
Starting To Raise Cattle - 4 Essential Considerations When Buying Cattle Breed Posted By: Tim Smith

As with any purchase it is important that you get value for your money. AND nbsp; This could include a family member, friend, neighbor, local farmer or County Agent. AND nbsp;If you are uncertain about how to purchase a beef animal then it would be best to deal with someone who is ethical and understands this side of the business. The idea is to not go into a purchase with little or no information or background. Here are 4 important considerations when buying cattle breed for your cattle farming venture:

1) Breed - In most situations frame and conformation are more important than breed in relation to cattle performance. However, there are some things to consider. Holsteins will work well in a feeder or finishing enterprise. They require different management and sell in a different market category. Animals with a high percentage of Brahman genetics do poorly in cold winter conditions. The disposition of the cattle can be an important factor which can be a breed characteristic. Avoid cattle that are high-strung or aggressive.

2) Condition - If you are purchasing cattle to put on pasture avoid cattle with excess fat as they gain poorly for the first month.buying cattle breed cattle breed buying cattle raise cattle raising cattle purchase cattle

Spirituality, Serenity And Splendor In Suthat Posted By: Pushpitha Wijesinghe

Bangkok is a land of splendor and diversity. Much of this splendor comes from the amazing architectural heritage that Bangkok is home to. Being a predominantly Buddhist nation, the country is populated with many temples and shrines, all decorated lavishly and serving the purpose of being a place of reverence for more than half the populace. The temples in Bangkok are very extravagant. The Buddha statues in this South Asian nation are gilded, made out of gold and embedded with precious stones. Certain statues are sculpted out of precious green jade and adorned with gems and gold. So, it is no surprise that the temples themselves are lavish and beautiful.

Wat Suthat is arguably one of the largest and oldest temples in Bangkok. Popular for its amazing roofline, large golden Buddha, intricate frescoes and the giant swing at the entrance, the temple is a place of spirituality and wonder and it is truly a work of art. The temple was constructed by King Rama I (1782-1804) who is also credited as being the creator of the Chakri Dynasty.luxury hotel Bangkok Silom hotels Bangkok Anantara Bangkok Sathorn

Significance Of Muhurta Respective To All Constellations Posted By: Indianastrovedic

Muhurta defines for that matter of constellations, the whole of Hindu astrology is based on the movements of planets relative to the constellations. The wisdom of the ancient Indians in making predictive astrology, dependent on the zodiac, is being increasingly acknowledge by students of the science. The question of zodiacal impact depend on the fact whether the star points with which the Sun comes into line from day-to-day derive their influences from that body or irrespective of the shifting position of the Sun, there is any special virtue attaching to these star-points.

We have shown with authentic evidence in several of our articles in THE ASTROLOGICAL MAGAZINE that the stars have a decided effect on all human affairs and we have several times disapproved the absurd views shown by the so-called scientists that because stars are removed millions and billions of miles away from us, there cannot be any connection between those gigantic masses and the living human beings. These electromagnetic bodies are capable of discharging different kinds of energies demonstrating themselves in different ways. When a constellation like Bharani is held to be immanently unfit for certain types of elections;muhurta shubh muhurta vivah muhurat griha pravesh

The Science Of Pranayama Posted By: Paul M. Jerard Jr.

Pranayama is an essential part of Yoga teacher training, as well as regular classes for students. Pranayama is a science within the larger science of Yoga. Although Yoga and pranayama have existed for thousands of years, their existence in the Western consciousness is a few hundred years old, at best.

Additionally, Yoga and Pranayama are interconnected. There are also internal and external martial arts systems, which practice forms of pranayama. Yet, most martial arts can track their lineage back to Yoga. The science of pranayama has evolved over thousands of years.

Pranayama is the fourth limb of Patanjali's Yoga. Within the past few centuries, pranayama has become globally popular, due to its healing properties. The Hatha Yoga Pradipika is believed to have been written in the 15th century. The Gheranda-Samhita is said to have been written in the late 17th century. Both of the above-mentioned texts give details concerning a variety of pranayama techniques for healing.

Within the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, instructions are given for Surya Bhedan, Ujjayi, Sitkari, Sitali, Bhastrika, Bhramari, Murchha, and Plavini. Kapalabhati is covered just a little earlier, in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, under the instructions for the Shatkarmas.Brahman priests developed Gheranda Samhita hatha yoga pradipika science of pranayama the Gheranda Samhita Yoga Teacher Training

There's A Biker In This Bull Posted By: SeymourBrandz

I have one major complaint about motorcycles: they aren't made for me to ride. Everything else about them is just right and connects with the Brahman bull in me, right down to my tail. It's the reason I wish there was a bike made for me, somewhere out there. Nothing alive has a monopoly on satisfying the feeling of being free, but there are a lot of varied ideas on what that means. Well, I'm not some fancy writer, scholar or confirmed-know-it-all; so, I cannot tell you what freedom is. However, like some biker said, 'Whatever it is, it's better in the wind.'

Those of us who have a real grip and firm appreciation for our freedom need to be surrounded by untamed horizons. It's not an all-the-time thing, but it is a desire that must be fulfilled at least some of the time. That's why I can relate when a biker tells a story about how he got up at 3am in the morning just to start a ride, so he could see the sunrise from a new place. Watching that miracle in the morning just has more meaning when you can experience it in new surroundings.biker t shirts motorcycle t shirts biker shirts bull balls
