Online Sports Betting Portal Posted By: mobileapplicationdevelopment

Business Challenge:

The solution is a web browser based mobile betting application that is also accessible on the WAP supported mobile phone. The solution is optimized to support all desktop and mobile browsers.

The users are able to review the previous bets and place their own bets on a sports event after successful registration. There are multiple payment gateways integrated which facilitate seamless transactions between the user and the service provider.

The entire system is CMS driven thereby facilitating ease of management by an administrator. Bets are added to a clipboard "a betting slip" where the user can change or add his or her stake or remove a bet previously selected before confirmation of the bet.

There are two mechanisms of maintaining the user payments and accounting.

David Hayes - Australian Horse Trainer Posted By: K Cummings

Australian horse trainer David Hayes seemingly has avoided the pitfalls often associated with trying to follow in the footsteps of a famous parent.

His father, Colin Hayes, set a standard that has had few to equal or surpass it, but David appears to be doing just that, and he still has time on the clock. At the age of 49, it would seem that, barring some unforeseen misfortune, he still has many years of productivity ahead of him.

After spending time under his father's wing, David took over the Lindsay Park operation in 1990 at the start of the 1990 - 91 season. He wasted no time getting up to speed, pulling off a W. S. Cox Plate when Better Loosen Up ran 2:01.5 with M. Clarke steering, the fastest time ever since the adoption of the metric system in 1972 and also since the current 2040 m distance was established in 1986.

That first season for Hayes included six Group 1 winners on one day at Flemington, on Derby Day, and a win of the Japan Cup the following month.David Hayes Colin Hayes australian horse racing racing tips melbourne cup cox plate australian bookmakers horse betting horse tips

What Is A No Deposit Free Bet? Posted By: Keith Rodwell

Bookmakers have realised that they have to compete strongly for new punters - and free bets have traditionally been the way to get them in. What has often happened is that a bookmaker will offer a 10 free bet when a new customer opens an online account.

The customer has to deposit 10, and bet 10, usually on a single bet of odds at least evens, in order to receive a 10 free bet. The stake on that bet is not returned.

Many people have complained, saying that this is over-complicated, and stacks the odds in the favour of the bookmaker. Some bookies responded by giving bets that were a little more simple, for example, offering a risk-free first bet. In this case, bookies such as Betclic said that you could bet 30 on anything you like, and if it lost, they would refund it. That would only apply for your first bet.

This enticed quite a few players, but many of them left once they had got their refund or their winnings, meaning that the bookie didn't make much money.

Bookmakers are great businessmen, of course, and some of them only wanted to attract high-stakes gamblers.no deposit free bet free bets bookmaker

Uk Weather Or Snow In Uk-unpredictable Posted By: Peter Zolcsak

The unpredictability of the weather of UK makes forecasting a daunting task for the weatherman. The temperature plummeted by several degrees because of the gale force winds blowing across from the north signaling the arrival of harsh winter in UK.

The net office issued its first warnings of severe weather conditions ahead, adding to woes of the motorist and air traffic in UK with the first bout of winter spell .The forecast for the week ahead in UK is that while the northern parts are set to witness the first snow and frost, the southern part will be spared for the time being and may not see a white Christmas at all. The odds in London over snowy Christmas are slim and bookmakers have halved the chances of it. London does not usually see a heavy downpour of snow unlike Scotland and if it snows at all it is usually in a scattering of snowy flakes which disappear in a days time mostly. Though there is a noticeable difference in temperatures after an unusual warm Autumn.Snow in UK Snow in London 2011

Living In The Beautiful Village Of Rowlands Gill Posted By: Matt McFay

Rowlands Gill is a beautiful village located along the A694, between Blackhall Mill and Winlaton Mill and on the northern bank of the River Derwent in the county of Tyne and Wear, England. The village began to expand in 1867, when the Derwent Valley Railway arrived in the area and Rowlands Gill soon became a coal mining village, as well as a dormitory suburb of Tyneside. Since it is Gateshead's greenbelt, the village offers plenty of open space and a beautiful setting, with amazing views over the valley to Gibside, which is owned by the National Trust.

What is notable about the village of Rowlands Gill is that there is not a single public house in the area. This is because the landowners who sold their land for residential building during the late 1800s stipulated that no pubs were ever to be erected on the land. Until 2002, however, there did exist a pub in the village, named the Towneley Arms Public House; this was originally built in 1835, predating the village and the landowner's stipulation. However, it was demolished in 2002 to clear the way for more houses to be built.property real estate estate agents buy house house for sale buy flat business property search to let property mortgage home and garden finance

Horse Racing Biographies - Uk Champion Jockey And Trainer, Fred Winter Cbe Posted By: Pippa Brown

Frederick Thomas Winter CBE (20th September 1926 - 5th April 2004) was a British racehorse jockey and trainer. He was British jump racing Champion Jockey four times and British jump racing Champion Trainer eight times and is the only person to have won the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle and the Grand National as jockey and trainer.

As a jockey Fred Winter won the Grand National four times. On Sundew in 1957, on Kilmore in 1962 and as a trainer, on Jay Trump in 1965 and on Anglo in 1966. His most famous win as a jockey was in 1962 on a horse called Mandarin in the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris and in 2006 this victory was voted the greatest ever ride in the Racing Post poll. He won the race despite being unwell at the time and having very little control over his mount because not only had Mandarin broken his bit but then the horse practically broke down in the last half-mile of the race. The Guardian also listed this as one of the greatest horse races of all time.Fred Winter horse racing jockey and trainer horse racing jockey horse racing trainers horse racing collectables horse racing collectibles horse racing

Black Caviar: Best In The World Posted By: K Cummings

Seldom has an active thoroughbred been accorded the accolades that have been directed toward Black Caviar.

The formidable mare has been dubbed the world's best sprinter and the greatest horse of all time by the International Federation of Horse Authorities (IFHA ) World Thoroughbred Rankings (WTR) system, established in 2002.

Points-based ranking systems, as any fan of any sport well knows, can be misleading. Any football fan whose number one-ranked club was on the short side of a one-nil score to a much lower-ranked opponent knows this fact intimately. Thoroughbreds, in particular, frequently ignore rankings for reasons only they understand. In the final analysis, the final outcome is all that matters, whether it's the result of a single contest or the standings at the conclusion of the season.

So, is Black Caviar deserving?

Let's examine this filly's resume in an attempt to decide.

Black Caviar was foaled at Swettenham Stud in August 2006. She certainly possesses an impressive bloodline, including Desert Sun. More interesting, though, is that she has the most productive sire of the 20th century, Northern Dancer, on both her sire and her dam's side.Black Caviar horse racing tips melbourne cup cox plate bets tipping bookmakers australian horse racing australian bookmakers

Perce Galea: The Prince Posted By: K Cummings

Among the ranks of big Australian punters, during the times when wagering on horse races often attracted an element of society not noted for exemplary scruples, Percival John Galea, a.k.a. "Perce" and "The Prince," left his inimitable, indelible mark on the Sport of Kings in Australia.

Born 26 October 1910 in Malta, one of 10 children, his family immigrated to Australia around 1912, settling near Sydney. Perce began his punting career as early as 1924. Working as a newsboy outside Central Railway Station, he used his earnings to place small wagers.

By 1926, he was employed as a milk man, and had his first taste of the good fortune that was to follow him for the rest of his life.

This good fortune took the form of one of Galea's customers by the name of Rodney Bangor who happened to be the owner of none other than Peter Pan. Perce took Bangor's tip to back Peter Pan in the 1934 Melbourne cup, for which he earned a $150 payday, a considerable sum in those times.

For the next several years leading up to World War II, he was employed as a wharf labourer.Perce Galea Australian horse racing bookmakers melbourne cup cox plate golden slipper stakes horse racing tips horse racing

Rising Businessmen In London Posted By: Frederick

London is really a unique and vibrant city having a great deal of opportunity for those looking to build, develop and run a profitable company. Not only does the city have a lot of transport links to other countries, but it also has plenty of home grown talent spanning all kinds of sectors and industries. The start-up industry has particularly proved to be fruitful for entrepreneurs from textiles to technology. Many individuals arrive in London without having a penny in their pocket and leave having made millions.

It would be impossible to identify all the rising stars in the United Kingdom"s booming capital, but here are five of the most prominent businessman, some which are new on the scene and others that have been making waves in their respective sectors for several years:

Michael Eskander: Australian Bookmaker Posted By: K Cummings

Add the traditional element of rails bookmaking to the modern element represented by the Internet.

Where the two meet, you're very likely to find Michael Eskander with one hand swinging the bag, and one hand clicking the mouse.

Wagering and the computer seem to represent a match made in heaven. With his corporate bookmaking entity, Betstar, Eskander and his family offer gamblers around the world the ability to wager on everything imaginable, including soccer, golf, football, motorsports, cricket, tennis, rugby league and more, offering punters both telephone and online horse betting services.

Before anyone had heard of the Internet, Eskander was a rails bookmaker who emigrated from Egypt in 1966 and spent the next 18 years in various industries before being granted his first bookmaker's license in 1984, allowing him to field at tracks all across Australia.

Eskander will in most likelihood never completely abandon the rails for the computer punt. It would seem that the face-to-face aspect of the big bookie versus the high roller holds far too much attraction for him.Michael Eskander horse racing bookmakers cox plate melbourne cup Australian horse racing tips

George Freeman: Australian Racing Identity Posted By: K Cummings

George David Freeman was a controversial figure in Australian horse racing history. He was a gambler and racing commission agent born to a builders' assistant in Annandale, Sydney on 22nd January 1935. His father, William David Freeman left the family when George was young while his mother remarried a criminal. However, it was a brief one since his step-father died soon after. A struggling childhood in a two-bedroom slum forced George into a life of crime, with his first incarceration as a 12 year old for stealing.

At the age of 14, he became a stable boy while his criminal ways continued with separate convictions for car theft and a smash-and-grab raid. For this he was remanded to the Mount Penang Training School, Gosford, and then on to the Tamworth Boys' Home due to constant misbehaviour. After his release in January 1953, Freeman was back in the Parramatta jail for stealing once again in 1954, where he met his childhood hero, Darcy Dugan, a notorious prison escapee. Several jail terms followed for petty theft. The last time Freeman saw prison guards was in 1968, in Fremantle, Western Australia. In between, he married a divorcee, Marcia Bedford in 1963 in Sydney.George Freeman Sydney Underworld Sp bookmakers bookmaker horse racing tips horse racing

Glen Boss: Champion Australian Jockey Posted By: K Cummings

Glen Boss, won three consecutive Melbourne Cup wins (2003/04/05) astride Makybe Diva. However, it does not stop there. His estimable record stands at over 60 Group 1 races and counting, and even though it is tempting to say his prime is past, a wise punter would not say this to his face then lay off him unless that punter was desirous of being a donour to Boss's tote.

Always one to ignore distractions, shut out the advice of owners and trainers, stewards and the voices of the well-lubricated experts over the fence, Boss kept his own counsel, even as an apprentice riding the bush circuit, always thinking that he could bring home a winner no matter what quality was beneath him.

Born 21 August 1969 in Caboolture, Queensland, about 50K north of Brisbane, Boss spent his early years following a career path not dissimilar to other jockeys: rounding cattle and breaking horses on his familiy's farm.

His racing career had its origins in Gympie, where he brought home 60 winners in less than a year as an apprentice, and managed this on his $30 week salary.Glen boss Makybe Diva bookmakers Australian horse racing horse racing tips cox plate melbourne cup racing tips
