The Bahamas Experience Posted By: Ramrod

The Wonderful Islands of the Bahamas
The Bahamas are a group of islands located in the Atlantic Ocean; it's one of the most visited vacation spots around the world. No where else in the world will you find islands as beautiful as these. The gorgeous palm trees and crystal clear water is what make this vacation paradise so appealing. There are many ways to get to keys, the most popular is by cruise ships that come in from many ports of the world, mainly Miami since it's the closest, Key West as well. Half Price Tour Tickets is a huge provider that used to offer the Bahamas cruise ship, but sadly the operations stopped. But I have great news.

The Bahamas Ferry is Here!
Half Price Tour Tickets used to provide the Bahamas tours but sadly the operations stopped for a couple months, but not need to worry, Half Price Tour Tickets has returned one of the best tours and lifetime experiences around.miami tours miami to bahamas tourist tourists tourism travel

Breathing Your Way Back To Optimum Health On A Holiday Retreat Posted By: Jane van Velsen

One of the delights of a retreat or holiday of any nature is that you come away feeling refreshed and energised again.

It's always surprising when we struggle to maintain that level of energy once we've returned to our own home. Often this is because you are, when on holiday, away from the issues that negatively affect your psyche and your body. These issues can be quite simple and small but the effect they have on our health is to create stress in our everyday lives and therefore affect our daily well being.

Coping with Stress through breathing

Stress manifests itself in many different ways but one of the most common side effects of stress is ill health and depression. Coping with these ailments is difficult but you can achieve positive results by following simple, ancient techniques of using conscious breathing exercises and combine them with healing mantra.

The basis of well being resides in our breathing. Every time we breathe we draw in the oxygen that is necessary for our bodies to survive, to pump the blood around and to feed our brain.Deva Premal Deva Deva Premal Miten breathing holidays retreats mantra chant song workshops

Understanding Water Makers Aboard A Boat Posted By: Marinetrader

Over the past several months, we have been trying to improve our trawler's ability to run without help from land. Before long, we wish to be traveling to the Bahamas where being self-sufficient is a necessity. To begin with there was an inverter, now we have installed a water maker.

Today's water makers utilize a reasonable amount of energy to change undrinkable salt water into clean fresh water. A well-constructed, well maintained water maker will significantly improve comfort while traveling. A water maker is a piece of equipment that requires a little upkeep for its constant functionality. But when you become familiar with the function of the piece of equipment, make use of it often and maintain it in proper operable order, a water maker is in fact an amazing piece of equipment.

Why Would You Need A Water Maker?
There are several reasons to contemplate installing a water maker on board your yacht.
1.It will lessen your vessel's weight and enhance performance given that you don't have to top off the water tanks. It is a worthwhile endeavor as 50 gallons of water weighs over 400 lbs.
2.Water makers will expand your range of cruising.understanding water makers water makers aboard a boat

Installing A Solar Panel Aboard Your Boat Posted By: Marinetrader

After a recent 5-day cruise aboard our trawler where we had to constantly start up the genset to provide electrical power to the 115 volt ac freezer to sustain temperatures, I started to think about alternate options. We put more than ninety hours on the vessel generator in just five days; time for another oil change! I put in an inverter shortly afterwards and that enhanced the run time for the generator significantly, but there was still work to be done. I still needed to keep the batteries fully charged to operate the inverter. Then it occurred to me, why not explore solar panels for use on our trawler. Solar panels have been effectively used since the mid 1950s, originally utilized in manned space exploration. They have been falling in price since roughly 2004 when their popularity increased significantly. And now with the Ecological movement afoot, solar panels are as accepted as always. So I set out to delve into them and ascertain how to purchase and install one; I was in for a surprise.installing solar panel solar panel boat

Books On Atlantis Posted By: John Chambers

Quite plenty are the movies not to mention books that have been attributed to the empire of Atlantis. Speculations are associated to what it was and where it is.

This is a firm statement May a person be an amateur sleuth or a professional researcher, Atlantis will never cease to bewilder people just as it did after being mentioned in Timaeus and Critias, two essays by the Greek philosopher Plato in 360 BC. In one Internet bookstore are 438 titles that are all about this. A full feature film from Disney was entitled as Atlantis The Lost Empire.

A number of scholars were believers in the island of Atlantis, a land that brought forth an infinite abundance and beheld the sunlight, and they said that Plato could not have been able to fabricate the story. Is Atlantis Attributable to some other historian other than Plato? When it comes to Atlantis, Plato died some years later without ever telling people how real it is.

A real person was Solon, the historian from whom Plato got the idea of Atlantis. According to the skeptics, Plato only believed in the story fabricated by Solon.antarctica trip antarctica vacation

One Week Trip Through Washington States Deception Pass, Swinomish Channel And The San Juan Islands Posted By: Trip Talk

The water is deceivingly calm at slack tide, in another half hour the water will be rushing out to sea at more than 6 mph and the pass will have whirlpools, and standing waves (sometimes, not always) over 5 feet high, and that's just a normal summer day. In the winter it can be dangerous for even large vessels.
I took a picture looking straight down down at narrow little Canoe Pass, tomorrow Linda and I will try and fail to get the dinghy through Canoe Pass, not being able to overcome the incoming current.

Cornet Bay is just half a mile inside the pass so we arrive there a few minutes after crossing the bridge. As soon as we pull into the parking lot it's obvious coming to Deception Pass is a good idea. The docks have plenty of room for more boats, and the trailer parking lot is virtually empty. While I start rigging the boat and prepare to step the mast, Jaiden and Linda walk down on the docks, within minutes Jaiden is back for his fishing gear. In about two hours I'm ready to back down the launch ramp and float the boat.sailing boating cruising San Juans Deception Pass
