Anglin' For The Bluesfishing For Bluefish Posted By: strayice

Anglin' For The BluesFishing for Bluefish (Potatomus salatrix), a tenacious saltwater fish that provides some of the best angling thrills on light tackle, is an awesome challenge and one that no saltwater angler should miss. They are mainly thought of as an Eastern United States fish, although they are found in most temperate waters throughout the world.

Bluefish are schooling fish built for speed and power. They are a blue green shade along the top of the body near the dorsal fins, and have silvery sides and have a whitish / silver underbelly. They have relatively large heads that feature powerful jaws and rows of very sharp teeth. Their tapered bodies end in deeply forked tails that allow them to be powerful swimmers and fighters.

The average fish weighs between 4 and 10 pounds, with any fish over 20 pounds being considered a real quality fish. The recognized IGFA record is 31 pounds, 12 ounce fish caught off the coast of North Carolina in 1972. Unconfirmed monster fish have reportedly been caught in the 40-pound range.

Population numbers of bluefish have been documented to follow cycles lasting about forty years.Football shirts Peru football shirt

How To Catch A Big Bass Posted By: Matt LeClair

Want to land that trophy bass during your next tournament? Are you tired of catching small fish or not catching any fish at all? There may be some things that you are not doing or are not doing correctly. Here are some tips and ideas on how to catch a big bass.

Be Different Than The Rest

Fish are very adaptive and quickly learn what is dangerous and what is not. A new technique that helps people land trophy fish is great, but as more anglers begin to use that certain technique, fish adapt to it and avoid taking the bait so to speak. Instead of using fishing techniques that have been overused, be yourself and use your own unique presentations and try different lures or baits.

Don't Rule Out Live Bait

You'll often hear the hype about how artificial baits and lures are the way to go if you want to catch big fish, but you're not looking to simply catch big fish. You want to know how to catch a big bass, a trophy bass. Live bait is not something you should rule out.catch big bass big bass

Some Fabulous Bass Fishing Tips That You Ought To Know About Posted By: tee83

If you are intending to go out for fishing in a river, you can expect to catch two major species of bass a smallmouth bass and a largemouth bass. The two are quite different from each other in numerous aspects. Moreover, they prefer staying in different environments as well. Largemouth Bass usually like swimming in areas that have a very low current. In order to catch a largemouth bass, you need to locate the backwaters. However, fishing in the backwaters is not enough. You should also try your hands at fishing near the entrance of the creek. The water current usually brings in a good amount of tiny morsels of food in the creek. Therefore, the largemouth bass usually prefer swimming across the creek region. The best fishing spot in the creek would be the area that has heavy weeds.
The Best Carp Fishing Presents You Could Ever Want This Year! Posted By: Tim Richardson

The search for carp fishing presents is daunting so why not learn from the experience of an angler in the sport for 30 years? It will surprise you to know which things are most valued, appreciated and genuinely will impact most upon your enjoyment and will most improve your catches!

I first became a passionate angler as a child. It has enriched my life and taught me many things never taught in any book in school. I had little support from disinterested parents and my fishing progress was very limited when I was young yet these days I am honoured to now be able to share my own experiences and knowledge with angling friends such as Frank Warwick, and even my boyhood heroes such as Tim Paisley, in my Crafty Carper magazine Carp Food bait column and many others.

This lack of childhood parental encouragement teamed with scarce funds to buy fishing tackle and pay for fishing permits did not help either but did certainly make me try far harder and become obsessed with fishing!Winter carp bait boilies ingredients recipes homemade pastes
