The Government Of Pakistan Is In Trouble Posted By: tishbite

Pakistan's prime minister, Yousuf Raza Gilani appealed for support Friday from parliament in a standoff between his beleaguered government and the military, saying lawmakers had to choose between democracy and dictatorship.

Tensions between the armed forces and the civilian leadership have escalated in recent months, raising fears of a coup attempt or that the army might support possible moves by a partisan Supreme Court to oust the elected government.

The military and the government have been locked in a standoff for months, but a scandal that erupted last year after an unsigned memo was sent to Washington asking for its help in heading off a supposed coup has caused friction to spike this week.

I think if we look at this situation very carefully we will be able to unlock some of the reasons for the apparent duality of the Pakistani government when it comes to their dealings with NATO and the United States. They have allowed terrorists to maintain a safe haven in their country for the entire time that the US and NATO have been fighting the war in Afghanistan.pakistan taliban pakistani government pakistani coup

The Taliban And Al-qaeda Have Benefitted From A Lull In The Us Drone Campaign Posted By: tishbite

The US has conducted a Drone campaign in Afghanistan during the last few years which has caused withering damage on the Taliban. This campaign has effectively turned the tide of the war in the favor of the US and NATO forces and have kept the terrorists off balance for quite a while.

The attacks have crippled the terrorists to the point that terror leaders are afraid to come out into the open. This campaign has kept the organization in such a shambles that they have not been able to effectively mount a campaign against NATO and the US.

The US, NATO, and the Pakistanis have been at an impasse lately because of the accidental killing of about two dozen Pakistani troops recently. Because of this the government of Pakistan has asked the United States to suspend its drone campaign on their territory.

The marriage between the US and Pakistan has been no more than a marriage of convenience to say the least. Both of these countries need each other but there is no love lost between the two.taliban pakistan al-qaeda drone drone campaign

Is Peace Finally A Reality In Afghanistan? Posted By: tishbite

The war in Afghanistan has been ongoing for years and the fact that there are rumors of peace talks indicates to me that both sides are growing weary of war. The war has been long and costly for both sides. It has placed a severe drain on the economy of the United States. It has also placed a severe mental drain on the troops who have served multiple tours there. It has been a drain on their families and the rest of the United States. Many American and NATO troops have lost their lives and been maimed for life. The United States has borne the brunt of the pressure because they have provided most of the manpower and equipment requirements needed to fight the war.

The Taliban and al-Qaeda have taken many casualties and have suffered a large number of casualties. The drone campaign which the United States government has aggressively pursued has served to decimate the ranks of the terror organizations which has caused them to remain off balance. The campaign has targeted high level operatives in both organizations which has left them in a turmoil as far as their leadership goes.peace talks in afghanistan operation enduring freedom peace talks operation enduring freedom

Versatility Is All Part Of Working For A Professional Vehicle Transport Company Posted By: Alison Withers

There are a surprising number of reasons why people want to move cars and other vehicles securely and discreetly from place to place both in-country and overseas without actually driving them.

The motor industry is an extremely competitive business and the new designs and models that are unveiled at the various annual motor shows are eagerly awaited.

However, no designer or manufacturer is likely to want their rivals to be able to get even a clue as to the new ideas they are working on and this is one of the main uses of secure, covered car transporters.

Prototypes are often modelled out of materials like plasticine, that could be easily damaged in transit and therefore need expert and professional handling, but even the prototype or concept car that is driveable is unlikely to be so on a public road without substantial modifications to make it safe for widespread use and this is something that would not be done until the potential manufacturer had some idea of the reaction to and likely demand for the model.

It is not solely within the mainstream car industry that discretion and careful handling are needed.Covered transport enclosed transport enclosed car transporter secure transport enclosed vehicle transport

It's About Kicking Ass Posted By: Matthew McKernan

When you get down to it, there is only one real reason anyone gets into martial arts, to know how to kick someone's ass. Yep, I said it and I'll say it again, I don't care if you're a Shaolin Monk or Thelonious Monk, you got into martial arts because you wanted to know how to kick someone's ass. It's like the only real reason to go to a dance club is to hook up (don't trust anyone, gay or straight who says it's to dance, or the music). There's a reason why you stop going when you're attached, it's because you don't have to.

I know you probably give explanations for choosing your martial arts path to friends and family. I'm sure the reasons range from fitness to spiritual. Unfortunately that reasoning is pure and complete bullshit since there are dozens of other hobbies from yoga to triathlons, that will give you either or both of those benefits. Side note: Anyone uses the term "path" or "spiritual" in a sentence needs a swift boot to nuts.

The only reason ANYONE EVER signs up for a martial arts class is learn how to fight. Think about it, why "martial arts"?martial arts self defense

Traveling Afghanistan Posted By: Mihei

Afghanistan is a mountainous destination in Central Asia for lovers of extreme rest. The number of historical monuments that can be found in Afghanistan is enormous. Natural places are no inferior to them in terms of their grandeur and beauty. The Hindu Kush mountain range is one of the most beautiful and majestic mountain systems worldwide. It combines the originally preserved mountains, valleys and lakes, which could attract more tourists here, were the political situation safer. Located in the valley of the eponymous river, Kabul is the capital of the country. The city was founded in 1504 as the capital city of the Mogul Empire. Nowadays, it has been greatly affected by the dramatic events of recent years, but it still remains a picturesque and interesting city for travelers.

The most interesting attractions in Kabul are its numerous mosques, mausoleums and madrassas. Among them, one can mention the restored Puli Hishti mosque, the mosque of Vizir Akabar Khan, the mausoleum of Timur Shah, and another 18th-century mosque, Idga, which is the center of the main religious holidays in Afghanistan.Afghanistan travel tips

Role Of A Criminal Lawyer In Society Posted By: Jeffrey Lloyd

Lawyers form the backbone of our legal system in the country or state. Due to ever increasing crimes in the society, criminal lawyers are being hired more and more. The lawyers are bound to follow the country's established laws while advocating for their clients. Countries are generally following three systems of justice, which are, British, American and Islamic systems of law. Countries formerly under the British raj are mostly using the British judicial system, tailored according to the needs of individual states, i.e. countries in South Asia, some parts of Africa, New Zealand, Australia and other East Asian countries. American law is also quite similar to British, America being a colony of Britain in the past. Although, Islamic criminal law is not enforced at the state level, anywhere in the world, barring a few exceptions like Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and former Taliban, led Afghanistan, but is followed by pockets of people living in different Muslim dominated countries.

Expert criminal advisors suggest the accused for the procedure they should follow during litigation.Crime Lawyer Legal Law Defense

Skate And Destroy Posted By: Tug Search

So, check it out, my friend Jay and I were skating downtown L.A. and this cop tells us we better stop or else we'll "be eating through a straw for the next month." We were like, "No way, pig" (in our heads).

This happens about every 10 fuckin' minutes in L.A., so me and Jay decided to find the cheapest place to fly to in the world and go skate there. After checking good places like Greece and Italy, we ended up with some place called Beirut. We didn't know much about it, but figured it would at least be warm. And there's no way it could be any more uptight the Stars and Bars, DOOOOOOOD!

Our board sponsor, Sector 9 (thanks, dudes) had just given us some mini-gun decks with wide trucks and soft wheels. We also had a prototype hill deck and trucks, so we were looking for long hills, clean pavement, empty pools. Any canvas where we wouldn't get harassed. Dropping out of the sky into Beirut, it looked like our dreams might be realized. Lights dotted large hills that rolled down to the sea. Skate paradise from 30,000 feet.Vice TV Vice Online Documentaries Global Issues TV Videos Movies Full Length Videos Vice Guide to Travel Shot By Kern Epicly Laterd

TheFilmcity.com provides latest news from bollywood and Celebrities, we'll give you hot news also current affairs in bollywood, we can say its all about bollywood.

Bollywood is the name given to the Mumbai-based film industry in India. It is considered to be the largest in the world in terms of number of films produced.

The films it produces are mostly in Hindi. They are generally lively, energetic musicals. Bollywood films often have their own sense of internal logic and can be as surreal as any musical produced by American or European studios. The music is generally pre-recorded, sung by a core group of singers, with actors miming the words (known as playback singing). Generally, professional playback singers provide the voices but of late there's a trend of the actors singing for themselves, like Aamir Khan in Ghulam. Bollywood films are often engaging spectacles that tell timeless stories of love and turmoil.

Bollywood films usually feature caucasian looking indians (Aryan as opposed to Dravidic), usually from the northern regions of India. The dancing usually involves very strong and quick body movements, and large groups of dancers.Bollywood Music Reviews Movie Reviews Celebrity Gossips

The Afghan War Is Costing America $8 Billion Each Month Posted By: Julie Thompson

The ten years following the tragedy of 9/11 has been a decade or misery and bloodshed. But America has not come anywhere near to achieving its goal. In many ways the entire world changed following the attack.

Billboards are continually warning people to look askance at strangers. The government has taken on the right to spy on its own subjects with a surfeit of cameras and hidden devices proliferating public as well as private buildings. While talking about the fight against terrorism, human rights, law and liberty are being trampled across everywhere.

To commemorate the anniversary solemn ceremonies were held attended by the present and past presidents. It gave the present government an opportunity to reiterate the commitment of America in its war against terror and that it would continue do so until the enemy were defeated.

But despite this show of unity, a poll conducted by Pew Research Center showed that Americans are not unanimous in their support of the policies against terror being adopted by Washington since the last ten years. A mere 25% feel that the wars against Afghanistan and Iraq have reduced the threat of terror.foreclosed homes

Hard Work Will Allow Afghan Forces To Take On Security Responsibilities By 2014 Posted By: Joshua Watson

It is targeted that by 2014, Afghan soldiers will take over all security responsibilities from the United States. It has been a long road but many are hopeful that this handover will be done by the deadline and will be a successful turning point for Afghanistan to begin standing on its own.

Success will come from commitment and loyalty from Afghan military staff, training and upgrading of weapons and systematic transition of districts and provinces.

Afghan National Army Reporting Hope

Right now, it is reported that over 60 percent of the military operations are already being conducted independently by Afghan National Army forces. At this rate, with continued training and focus on improving and increasing weapons, the deadline seems hopeful.

While training has been effective by NATO and independent contractors from the U.S. and other countries, there is still a lot of work to be accomplished including raising the number of Afghan soldiers to anticipate for any Taliban strong holding that may occur at the time when the U.S. hands over security responsibilities in Afghanistan.Afghanistan military training NATO
