Cosmetic Surgery Experts Want Stricter Regulations Posted By: Julie Glynn

Experts have condemned the cosmetic surgery industry in the UK, warning that insufficient regulations are putting the public at risk.

There is no doubt that the industry is booming: it generates huge revenues and has been valued at around AND pound;2.3 billion. This figure is expected to rise to AND pound;3.6 billion by 2015 due to the increased focus on male procedures. In particular, gynecomastia surgery (otherwise known as male breast reduction surgery) is seeing a surge in popularity.

But despite the staggering number of cosmetic procedures performed every day, there is a shocking lack of safety controls. There is no register of cosmetic practitioners, who may practice treatments such as dermal fillers without qualification or training. Such non-invasive procedures can, in fact, be legally carried out by anyone - even by the patient himself.

In terms of more serious, invasive procedures, the reality is no less worrying. It is true NHS plastic surgeon's must be on the General Medical Council's Specialist Register, which confirms a surgeon has completed formal plastic surgery training. This, however, represents just 30 to 40 per cent of the number of plastic surgeons in the UK.Cosmetic Surgery Experts Want Stricter Regulations Cosmetic Surgery Experts Stricter Regulations cosmetic surgery medical negligence compensation clai

What To Expect From Your Family Law Solicitor When Going Through A Divorce Posted By: Jamie Simpson

Going through a divorce is a rancorous and challenging period. It is both physically, financially and emotionally inclement and this is largely due to the gruesome court proceedings one has to go through. Divorces that are fortunate enough not to make it to the ears of a judge usually have amicable settlements without going to court. However, the thing that is conjunct in both cases, is the presence of lawyers acquainted with UK family law, to represent both parties.

The solicitors are crucial in protecting and safeguarding the rights of their clients in the divorce. However and rather surprisingly, the full roles of the divorce solicitors is unknown to many people. It is vital to be informed on the expectations of your divorce solicitor when you hire him/ her.

Parties involved in a divorce are usually very aggressive and antagonistic to each other. Imagining the individuals were both previously married to each other is absurd and insurmountable. That is why divorces are even commonly referred to as 'battle zones'. Your solicitor should be your colonel in this 'battle zone'. He/she should bring the A-game to the table and protect your rights.law divorce family law solicitor legal

Your Deficient Partnership Agreement Increases The Risk Of A Business Partnership Dispute Posted By: Tim Bishop

Most partnerships in business will be governed by a partnership agreement. However problems arise when the agreement is of a poor standard and a partnership dispute comes up.

A business partnership is like many romantic partnerships. It starts great, but after a while cracks may begin to form and a business partnership dispute can arise. This is why it is of paramount importance to have a written agreement in place at the point when the partnership is formed. It may seem awkward to suggest a formal agreement, especially if your business partner is a family member or friend. However, in this situation you must put the awkwardness to one side and create a written agreement that covers all the necessary angles. If you don't have any formal written agreement then you'll partnership is governed by the Partnership Act of 1890- and you may find that, being bound by the Partnership Act, you are lumbered with provisions that you wouldn't have chosen yourself.

A written partners agreement is not legally required, but may save a a large amount of hassle if things turn sour between two partners, and a business partnership dispute arises.partnership dispute business partnership dispute partnership disputes partner dispute business partnership disputes

Bowel Injuries During Sterilisation Posted By: Julie Glynn

If you have sustained a bowel injury during a sterilisation procedure, and this injury was not identified in a prompt fashion, you could be entitled to make a medical negligence compensation claim.

Bowel Injury and Laparoscopic Surgery.

Sterilisation is usually performed by way of a laparoscopy. This involves making a small incision to the belly button, through a small flexible tube is inserted. This is called a laparoscope, and has a camera and light attached to the end which relays images onto a screen. Once the surgeon is able to see inside the pelvis, it will be possible for Filshie clips to be attached to each fallopian tube.

Laparoscopy is widely used for gynaecological procedures such as sterilisation, and is considered to be a safe and effective technique. However, as with all surgery, laparoscopic sterilisation does have risks. A woman should be informed of these before she consents to surgery.

One of these risks is bowel injury. Although this is a rare occurrence statistically, it is considered as the most major complication of sterilisation because it must be recognised and repaired at the time of surgery: if there is a failure to do so, the consequences could be fatal.Bowel Injuries During Sterilisation Bowel Injuries Sterilisation medical negligence compensation claim

Personal Injury Claims: The Tough Questions Posted By: Jamie Simpson

Making a personal injury claim is an important first step to recovering your quality of life after an accident or after being injured. While you might have prepared all of your evidence and found a quality solicitor to help you make your claim, you may not have considered what questions might come up at every stage of the process. Some of them might be uncomfortable, or may trigger unpleasant memories of how you sustained your injuries.

While these questions are tough to handle, they are being asked for a reason. These questions will usually first happen when you first meet with your solicitor for an evaluation of your claim. They will help properly assess the nature of your case for a personal injury claim as well as determine if you have a case at all, so you should above all be ready to answer honestly.

You might be asked to describe the accident or injury as it happened, how you cope living with your injury, or what the effects of your injury are on your everyday life. This can be difficult for many people to handle.personal injury law legal claims

4 Reasons Why It's Essential You Make A Work Accident Claim Posted By: Justin Arnold

When it comes to injury claims there's one category which sees a surprising number of people choosing not to claim, even though they are entitled to, and it is recommended that they do. Work accident compensation claims are amongst the most necessary claims, often because the injury is caused through pure negligence, greed or laziness, and the injuries sustained in a workplace can often be severe. The fact that employers and businesses have liability insurance means that any claim for compensation will be paid for by the insurance company, rather than the employer, so why do people choose not to make a claim when they both deserve it, and more often than not, need it?

The answer is that often people are afraid if the consequences. They are afraid that if they make an accident claim for compensation against their employer that they will find their employment jeopardised, or their working relationship harmed in some way.injury claims Manchester work accident compensation Manches

Cauda Equina Medical Negligence Posted By: Julie Glynn

Considering there are relatively few cases of Cauda Equina Syndrome recorded in the UK each year, it is an illness with a disproportionately high number of medical negligence claims. In fact, there were 63 Cauda Equina medical negligence claims worldwide between 2003 and 2007, 43 of which were in the UK. Many concluded in large compensation settlements, the largest being a sum of AND pound;584,000.

As the statistics show, Cauda Equina Syndrome is a rare condition with a high medico-legal profile. But why might it lead to a medical negligence claim? How do you know if you are entitled to compensation? And how do you begin the claims process?

How Might Cauda Equina Syndrome Lead to a Medical Negligence Claim?

Cauda Equina Syndrome is a medical emergency: urgent treatment is vital if the outcome is to be favourable. A patient is therefore entirely dependent upon medical professionals making a timely diagnosis. If there is a failure to do so, the consequences will be devastating.

Indeed, Cauda Equina Syndrome can quickly cause extensive and permanent nerve damage.Cauda Equina Medical Negligence Cauda Equina Medical Negligence Cauda Equina syndrome Medical Negligence

Conveyancing Quotes And Its Uses Posted By: 30

When you are looking for a sensible conveyancing solicitor, you might be tempted by the numerous offers of cheap conveyancing offered on the web. They seem to offer much lower prices than your typical conveyancing firm and therefore these very low conveyancing quote offers could appear like the best solution to your problem. Not several individuals realise the prices involved with completing the conveyancing process and so they are simply won over by these low quotes. But, once you understand precisely what is going on and why this process costs as much as it does, you will clearly be able to determine which are the simplest offers available.

The problem with several of the very cheap conveyancing quote deals is that they contain a hidden cost, called 'disbursements'. These are standard costs which are typical for any company, however with a team which is not fully honest, these charges may spiral out of control. So as to understand what you are being charged for, you need to know exactly what disbursements are, and the way such charges can rise to alter the 'cheap' conveyancing quote into anything which is pretty expensive.Interest only mortgage best mortgage deals Best remortgage deals Buy to let mortgages cheap conveyancing conveyancing conveyancing fees conveya

Understanding The Conveyancing Process Posted By: 30

Whether you are purchasing or selling your house, you may need to use a conveyancing service so as to get the deal fulfilled. This can be a vital part of the process of getting or selling a property, which cannot be ignored by either side. However , it is always much better to know the conveyancing process , so as to keep up with what your solicitor is doing and be in a position to follow the procedure from beginning to finish without worrying regarding what would happen next. By learning what the method suggests to both the purchaser and the seller, you can know why your solicitor is doing what he is doing and what you should do in order to help them.

When you are the purchaser, the conveyancing method begins when you are making an offer on the property and organize the survey. Your solicitor will begin the method by asking for a contract pack from the seller's solicitor. They will perform authority searches to establish that the property is legally for sale and then give you with a report.Interest only mortgage best mortgage deals Best remortgage deals Buy to let mortgages cheap conveyancing conveyancing conveyancing fees conveya
