Discount Kenya Wildlife Safari Prices: Go On A Discounted National Park Safaris In Kenya Africa Posted By: Robert M.

Kenya is possibly the best wildlife destination in Africa where you can enjoy uninterrupted game drive in national parks seeing all the big five animals. The Kenyan Safari Holiday involves travel by road or air to different parks which have quite distinct features. The most visited wildlife safari parks in Kenya include the samburu, amboseli and Masai mara game reserves.

Cheap Kenya Wildlife Holidays in Amboseli Park

Amboseli is the Kenya elephant safari holiday destination since it has the largest number of elephants anywhere in Kenya. The elephants are more than 1500 in the park and they are the longest studied group in the world. The elephants of amboseli like this park due to its fresh swamp waters which are fed through underground rivers that emerge from the park and are fed by the melted water of Kilimanjaro ice caps.

The most popular attraction to amboseli national park however is the view of mt. Kilimanjaro which can be seen early in the morning. The summit of the mountain is visible with its snow covered bald top protruding among the white clouds in the sky.Safari in Kenya Kenya safari Safari in Africa east africa holiday Kenya wildlife safari Kenya tour safari tour to Kenya holiday in Kenya vacation in

Other Kenya Vacation Destinations Posted By: Marcus Brain

Kenya is the home of the traditional safari and besides for the well known Maasai Mara, there are other, less known but nonetheless extremely popular areas to visit on a Kenya Vacation. Here are a few:

Samburu, Shaba and Buffalo Springs

The Samburu National Reserve is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river, opposite Buffalo Springs National Reserve in the northern part of Kenya. It is 165 square km in size and 350 kilometers from Nairobi. Geographically, it is located in the arid Samburu District of the Rift Valley Province.
In the middle of the reserve, the Ewaso Ng'iro flows through doum palm groves and thick riverine forests that provide the water without which the game in the reserve could not survive.
Samburu Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa, the lioness made famous in the best selling book and award winning movie "Born Free".
Samburu Reserve is also the home of Kamunyak, a lioness famous for "adopting" Oryx (or Gemsbok) calves.kenya vacations lake nakuru meru national park holidays in kenya

Ol-Malo Lodge or 'The Place of the Greater Kudu' the perfect Luxury Africa Safari Lodge is set in a 5000 acre ranch and game sanctuary along the Uaso Nyiro River, overlooked by the massive snow covered Mount Kenya in the background, and it overlooks the Mukagodo home of the nomadic Ndorobo people.
Great Tour To Kenya Posted By: righttravel

The Aberdares are an isolated volcanic range that forms the eastern wall of the rift valley, running roughly 100km north south between Nairobi and Thomsons Falls. The Aberdare National Park was formed in 1950 to protect the forested slopes and moors of the Aberdare Mountains. While the park has elephant, rhino, black leopard, lion and the beautiful but elusive bongo antelope, it is rarely visited by safari companies and individual travelers. Soils are volcanic origin and red. There are two main peaks Kinangop
(3,906m) and Ol Donyo Lesatima (3,999m) separated by a lengthy saddle of alpine moorland at over 3,000m. The high rainfall turns the roads to mud and you need a 4x4 to get anywhere. The park often closes in the wet season. There are many clear streams and waterfalls.

Shaba National Reserve, which lies east of the road linking Isiolo with Marsabit, form a trio of unusual and attractive game sanctuaries very different from others in Kenya. Shaba National Reserve has a particular place in the history of Kenya game conservation for it was in this reserve that the authoress, Joy Adamson, died;Animal immigration on the Safari
