A Visit With Blue Pearl Software Posted By: tom

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit Blue Pearl Software, one of the emerging EDA companies in Silicon Valley. Blue Pearl Software was started six years ago with the goal of doing design analysis at the functional level and providing designers with control of their design from RTL through synthesis. Another goal as important as the first was to automatically generate timing constraints and allow the verification of their correctness.
Ellis Smith, the company CEO told me that both goals have been achieved and that their products, Analyze RTL and Create are the easiest tools to use in the industry. The user interface is so intuitive that any designers can be proficient with the tools from the very beginning. The tools use proprietary technologies that include RTL analysis, high level symbolic simulation, and state space exploration.
For example, Ellis continued, one can click on any generated false path and immediately see the entire path from its origin to its final destination and validate it. This of course saves significant time in the design process. We all know that time is money.Software can help FPGA designers

Insider Secrets Of Preventing And Reversing Heart Disease Posted By: Gladys Alvarez

If you are reading this, it is possible that you or someone you know or love may need help for their heart! Here's to a healthy heart!

EAT FISH TWICE A WEEK

Heart disease is quite uncommon among people who eat lots of fish. Certain unsaturated fatty acids unique to fish are thought to be responsible for this protective effect. Eat at least four ounces of fish a week. Best: Rich, oily species like bluefish, mackerel, tuna and Salmon, but before you ingest whatever kind of fish you choose, you would be wise to make sure that fish is not contaminated with any chemicals. Whether you realize it or not, our environment has been compromised over and over. What about fish-oil supplements? There's little evidence that they're beneficial.

ALCOHOL AND ASPIRIN

Study after study has proven that an occasional drink raises levels of HDL cholesterol (that is your "good cholesterol"). Men whose HDL is below 30 should consider having one or two drinks daily (one if you're a woman). One drink equals a glass of wine, a shot of distilled spirits or 12 ounces of beer.heart disease reversing heart disease weak heart disease heart disease cad coronary heart disease antioxidants for heart aspirins vitamins B6 B12

Burn Fat Fast With Fat Burning Food Posted By: Aline Heller

People sometimes mistakenly think that eating fats would make them fatter. But some fats are essential to our health. Based on research findings, eating healthy fats can actually help us to lose weight.

Our bodies need what we call essential fatty acids. These are polyunsaturated fats that our bodies cannot synthesize, so they have to be included in the food that we eat. Essential fatty acids are used by the body for maintenance of cell membranes and for making prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers that regulate many body processes. One type of essential fatty acid called alpha-linoleic acid, or Omega 3 fatty acid, plays an important role in the process of burning fats. Even when people are fasting, this essential fatty acid is needed by the body to burn more fats.

Foods rich in Omega fatty acids include the following: flaxseeds, mustard seeds, pumpkin seeds, the oil derived from flaxseed called linseed, walnut oil, soya bean, grains, Spirulina, and green leafy vegetables.

Monounsaturated fat or MUFA is another type of healthy fat. MUFA has been found to increase the body's basal metabolic rate, and helps the body burn fat faster.burn fat fast fat burning food essential fatty acids medium chain triglycerides

Eating Right For A Healthy Heart And Long Life Posted By: Gladys Alvarez

Researchers have identified three mechanisms by which to lower the risk of developing heart disease.

(1) Lower the amount of LDL (bad) cholesterol in the blood. An LDL level in excess of 100 confers increased risk for heart disease...

(2) Block oxidation of LDL cholesterol. LDL cholesterol is benign until it has been oxidized. Only then can it be incorporated into obstructions along the walls of the coronary arteries. These obstructions are called plaques.

(3) Control blood clotting. Heart attacks occur when a plaque fissures or cracks triggering formation of clots that block the flow of the blood to the heart.

You may ask, how may we set these mechanism into motion? Regular exercise, avoiding smoking and keeping your blood pressure and weight under control are essential. But that's only the beginning...

HEART-PROTECTIVE FOODS

A diet low in saturated fat reduces levels of LDL cholesterol. In addition, certain foods have extra power to protect the heart...

OLIVE OIL. While it's a good idea to reduce consumption of all kinds of dietary fat, including oils, substituting olive oil for other oils helps keep your heart healthy.healthy heart ldl cholesterol eating right heart healthy red wine hdl cholesterol blood clotting garlic olive oil fish

A Glass A Day Keeps The Doctor Away: The Wine - Heart Health Connection Posted By: John V

When it comes to the relationship between good health and wine drinking, the proverbial cat has been out of the bag for not just years but decades. It was originally postulated when people in the late 20th Century noticed that the French suffer a lower rate of heart disease than any other Western Country, and drew the obvious correlation between their consumption of wines and this health. Then, with the discovery of the important role that LDL and HDL cholesterol play in determining a person's chances of heart disease, science uncovered a clear connection between wine, alcohol, and the risk of heart disease. So the simple point is that middle-aged people who regularly consume one to two glasses of red wine a day, closer to eight to nine glasses a week for women, have a lower risk of heart disease and other heart problems than those who don't.

However, there has been a great deal of back and forth argument about how effective this preventative measure is and how exactly it works.wine wines

Best Natural Cholesterol Reduction Method Posted By: Amar

Eating too much salt can lead to unhealthy high blood pressure that usually causes cardiovascular disease. Opting to reduce the amounts of salt in food intake is probably the best natural cholesterol reduction method to avoid such disease. Heath experts only recommend for adults about 1 teaspoon of salt each day. Though it may sound small, there are many delicious alternatives in reducing the intake of sodium.

Healthier Alternatives to Salt

Probably the best natural cholesterol reduction method to do is to reduce significantly eating foods that are canned or processed. High amounts of salt a typical adult eats are normally attributed from eating too much processed and canned foods. Foods such as frozen dinners, soups, and meats often use salt during its processing. Switching to eating foods that are fresh, unsalted meats, and cooking with natural ingredients rather than salt dramatically reduces the risks that sodium intake can give.

The best natural cholesterol reduction method is to cook with spices rather than salt for flavor. Such spices are delicious and healthier alternatives to salt. To achieve distinct and delicious tastes in dishes cooking with fresh herbs like chives, basil, thyme, etc are healthier alternatives.Best Natural Cholesterol Reduction Method Vasacor

Plant Sterols Proven To Lower Cholesterol Levels Posted By: Simply Supplements

Plant sterols offer an easy way to lower your LDL [bad] cholesterol. This in turn helps reduce the risk of heart disease. Cholesterol is essential within the body, as it provides stability to every cell in the body. However, high levels of cholesterol are one of the major causes of heart disease and strokes. High total cholesterol can be caused by variety of factors, including genetics, diet and lifestyle.

There have been many reports from experts that patients are not taking the risks of high cholesterol seriously. Huge numbers of patients, over the age of 55, have never even had their cholesterol levels tested, and are not worried that high cholesterol levels could lead to heart disease. This is particularly problematic with younger people.

It is estimated that two thirds of the UK population have raised cholesterol, and heart disease remains one of the country's biggest killers.

What is the difference between LDL and HDL cholesterol?

Cholesterol can not be dissolved in the blood; it has to be transported to and from the cells by carriers called lipoproteins. Small amounts of cholesterol care essential to our bodies as they help form the walls of arteries.Simply Supplements plant sterols lower cholesterol
