Back Pain And Backache Posted By: Rashid

Discomfort in the back, in its various forms, is one of the commonest of symptoms. Some causes for back pain originate in the skeletal and muscular structures.
Treatments Fibromyalgia And Pain Relief Posted By: Bhupinder Kaur Khera

Duloxetine is used to treat fibromyalgia and pain caused due to it. This medicine also works best for relieving pain and tingling caused by diabetic neuropathy. It works for other disorders such as treating depression and generalized anxiety disorder or GAD. This medication is in a class of selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors. It works by increasing the amounts of serotonin and norepinephrine, natural substances in the brain that help maintain mental balance and stop the movement of pain signals in the brain.

Fibromyalgia can occur at any age between 20 to 50 years old. However, fibromyalgia and pain onset can also occur in childhood. The cause of fibromyalgia is currently unknown. There is no test that fully reveals if someone has this disorder. The difficulty with diagnosing fibromyalgia is that, in most cases, laboratory testing appears normal and that many of the symptoms imitate those of other rheumatic conditions such as arthritis or osteoporosis. There is evidence that genetic factors may play a role in the development of this disease. For example, there is a high aggregation of fibromyalgia in families.

Fibromyalgia is a rheumatoid disorder characterized by muscle pain and headaches.Treatments fibromyalgia fibromyalgia and pain Duloxetine

Treating Fibromyalgia - Past & Present Posted By: Roger Ubik

You may have seen commercials on television lately referring to a condition called Fibromyalgia, or perhaps you are one of the unfortunate sufferers of the condition. Still holding a great deal of controversy, Fibromyalgia is classified as an "all over pain." The condition once called by several different diagnoses, including muscular rheumatism, fibrositis, psychogenic rheumatism, and neurasthenia, is now more widely recognized, but not fully accepted by all in the medical community.

Fibromyalgia, which comes from the combination of three words- "fibra" meaning fiber, "myro" meaning muscle, and "algos" for pain- was first studied in the late 1970's. Yet, still, as late at the 1990's it was referred to as a "controversial condition," and though there are a number of treatments and clinics that address the condition, it really is still highly disputed today. Mostly because there are no definitive tests, and though there are many medications available to provide relief to sufferers, the source of the pain is not understood.

Studies have found that while the disease does not appear to be progressive- it is not fatal- it has shown signs of progressing over time- it worsens as the patient ages.Fibromyalgia Pain Doctor Pain Clinic

Back Pain Pasadena Ca | The Causes Of Back Pain Posted By: Chris Tomshack

Back pain affects nearly 80 percent of all adults. It's the most common cause of hospitalization. Acute pain occurs suddenly and is usually caused by misuse of the body. Chronic or recurrent pain can happen as the result of nearly any movement and often for no discernible reason. Problems in the muscles, tendons, bones, ligaments, or organs such as the kidneys can manifest themselves in the form of back pain.

Disk Degeneration -

Disk degeneration is a common cause of back pain. Our disks tend to degenerate naturally as we age; nearly all adults over forty will have some degree of disk degeneration. When degeneration gets bad enough, something as small as a sneeze can cause it to rupture or herniate, which causes the soft inner tissue to protrude and press against the spinal cord-which hurts quite a bit, as I understand.

Muscle Strain -

Muscle strain is another leading cause of back pain. This type of back pain usually comes on suddenly and can be very acute, but like so many health problems that we don't notice until they become symptomatic - it actually develops over a period of time.Chiropractor Pasadena CA Chiropractic Pasadena CA Back Pain Pasadena CA Neck Pain Pasadena CA He

Fibromyalgia, causes And Treatments Posted By: harry jackson

Fibromyalgia is an arthritis-like disorder. While it does not inflame the joints, muscles, or other tissues or harm them, it does lead to noticeable pain, stiffness and fatigue, and can hamper a person's regular life. Its symptoms include irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, painful menstruation, deadness or tingling of the limbs, uneasy legs, sensitivity to temperature, cognitive and memory difficulties ("brain fog").

Detecting fibromyalgia is quite difficult as most of the symptoms are similar to those of other problems, no symptoms are evident which will help the doctor and no conclusive laboratory test. It can be diagnosed only clinically, based on the background of chronic extensive pain that lasts for over 3 months along with soreness in a minimum of 11 from 18 particular sore point areas. Treatment fibromylagia is beneficial if it includes a combination of knowledge, stress minimization, exercise and medicine. According to research, aerobic exercises like swimming and walking, enhance muscle vigor and lower muscle pain and soreness. Heat and massage can also offer temporary relief.

Although researchers and doctors have not been able to cure this disease completely, they have come up with drugs that can reduce the pain and improve the quality of sleep.fibromyalgia fibromyalgia causes fibromyalgia treatments

Breathing Exercises To Help Your Body And Mind Posted By: Peter James Field

Very few people spend much time in consciously controlling their breathing

In fact for the majority of people, breathing is simply an automatic process that happens unconsciously. Unfortunately, this includes unhealthy breathing.

Most of us are well aware of our body's need for oxygen. Without it we would very quickly become unconscious and die.

But contrary to popular belief, carbon dioxide is just as essential to life as oxygen.

When we breathe in an incorrect manner, we automatically lessen the amount of carbon dioxide available to us and this can have a really harmful affect on our body - and our mind.

You see, if there is insufficient carbon dioxide in the blood, it creates 'alkaline blood', which causes a constriction of the blood vessels.

And this in turn allows less oxygen to reach the vital organs.

Improper breathing which decreases carbon dioxide in our bodies can produce a whole array of health problems.

Included in these are cardiac problems, including 'angina' and palpitations.

The respitory functions may also be affected producing chest pain, shortness of breath and asthma.breathing exercise breathing technique breathing problems breathing tips difficulties breathing asthma breathing your breathing belly breathing nose b

Fibromyalgia, formerly know as fibrositis, is a common and chronic condition affecting the muscles. Fibromyalgia affects about 3 million to 6 million people in the United States each year. The disorder mostly affects women, aged 30 to 59 and typically develops in early-to-middle adulthood. Fibromyalgia pain is more common in the trunk, neck, low back, hips, and shoulders, and it is rare in the hands and feet.

Symptoms of fibromyalgia

The symptoms of fibromyalgia resemble those of rheumatoid arthritis and due to this fact, fibromyalgia may be misdiagnosed. However, unlike people with physical illnesses, the people with fibromyalgia seem to be in perfect health. Fibromyalgia usually displays a variety of symptoms including generalized aches and pains, increased sensitivity of the skin, chronic fatigue, weakness or dizziness, muscle stiffness or joint pain and migraine headaches.

Symptoms of fibromyalgia vary greatly between individuals but almost all suffer from an associated sleep disorder. Depression, anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome, numbness and tingling of the extremities and heightened sensitivity to stimuli may also be present.fibromyalgia fibromyalgia chronic fatigue chronic fatigue fibromyalgia about fibromyalgia fibromyalgia treatment cfibromyalgia cure chronic fati

You Can Resolve The Pain Of Arthritis And Live Pain Free. Take These Simple Steps To Change Your Out Posted By: pmoyni

Most people associate arthritis with old age and it is true that people are affected more as they grow older. But, actually, arthritis can affect anyone from very young children right up to the very old.

Osteoarthritis is the type of arthritis, which most commonly affects older people. It involves the breakdown of the protective cushion of the cartilage covering the ends of bones where they meet to form a joint. We tend to use
the terms rheumatism and arthritis interchangeably and they are sister diseases.

Rheumatism is a general term, which includes not only problems with the joints, but also any problem affecting the muscles or soft tissues of the body. Some of the areas associated with rheumatism include: Fibrositis, bursitis,
tendonitis, muscle strain, sprains, lumbago, sciatica, whiplash injury and disc disease. The most common forms of these diseases are Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis
The medical profession contends that neither rheumatism nor arthritis can be cured. Once they have taken hold, one can only hope to alleviate the pain. A cure is not possible. Nevertheless, some types of arthritis and rheumatism
can be prevented and we believe that effective treatment is possible for all forms of these diseases.arthritis arthritis pain cure arthritis pain arthritis natural cure lifestyle for arthritis sufferers gentle exercise for arthritis sufferers

Backache is a pain in the back caused by degenerative changes, swelling, injury or in some cases, cancer.Usually the pain on the lower part of the back worsens when a person bends forward or backward. The muscles of the back may become weak and tender. Backache due to age-related changes may radiate to the legs due to pressure on the spinal nerves.

Arthritis Treatment And Prevention Posted By: Juliet

Arthritis is a disease that causes pain and loss of movement of the joints. Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in people over the age of 55. Arthritis affects the movements you rely on for everyday activities. Arthritis refers to a group of more than 100 rheumatic diseases and other conditions that can cause pain, stiffness and swelling in the joints. There are many forms of arthritis, each of which has a different cause. Inflammatory arthritis is characterized by inflammation of tissues associated with joints. Connective tissue diseases, crystal deposition diseases, infectious arthritis, and spondyloarthropathies are examples of inflammatory arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis are autoimmune diseases in which the body is attacking itself. Septic arthritis is caused by joint infection. Gouty arthritis is caused by deposition of uric acid crystals in the joint that results in subsequent inflammation. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is traditionally considered a chronic, inflammatory autoimmune disorder that causes the immune system to attack the joints. It is a disabling and painful inflammatory condition, which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. Arthritis sufferers include men and women, children and adults.arthritis types arthritis cure and treatment rheumatoid arthritis psoriatic arthritis septic arthritis arthritis prevention tips
