Beat The Recession Blues - Go Camping! Posted By: Rhonda Budden

Let's face it; not many holidays can compare to a camping holiday, particularly when you go away with friends or family in an off road caravan or trailer tent. Of course this is largely due to the fact that you'll encounter very few limitations as to where you're able to spend your time. Irrespective of whether you choose to rough it up, or whether you choose to add a little comfort, camping holidays are an ideal opportunity for families and friends to spend some quality time together.

Of course, as more and more Australian couples have increasingly found themselves needing to deal with the recession, camping holidays have proven to be an ideal solution for those on a tight budget. In fact, even those who have been born and raised in the cities have found that a camping holiday can provide all the relaxation they've ever dreamt of. Then again, who could blame them, considering a camping holiday can be just as enjoyable as a holiday in the most luxurious of resorts.

Nowadays, motor homes and trailer tents have ensured that camping holidays can be an ideal option irrespective of how fussy you are.camping off road caravan trailer tent

Lamington National Park Posted By: Cordelia Kennedy

Australia's largest remaining subtropical rainforest covers the valleys and cliffs of the McPherson Range. this range reaches elevations of 1100m on the Lamington Plateau. Lamington National Park is a Unesco World Heritage Site offering over 160 km of walking trails. It is not uncommon to see wildlife such as satin and regent bowerbirds and the interesting Lamington blue spiny crayfish. Most visitors are guaranteed to see pademelons (small wallabies) in the late afternoon. The two most popular and easily accessible sections of the park are Binna Burra and Green Mountains, both can be reached via Canungra. Both roads wind their way up the mountain, crossing through the forest and open land. Its a beautiful drive, and well worth the effort.

Lamington National Park is a bushwalkers paradise. At Green Mountains, be sure to walk the excellent tree-top canopy walk along a series of rope and plank suspension bridges 15 metres above the ground. Serious hikers can tackle the 24 metre Border Trail which links the two sections of the park.Transport back to base from either of the lodges at each end (or transfer of luggage from one to the other) can be arranged.Broadbeach hotels Broadbeach accommodation

Sunshine Coast Tourism Bounces Back Posted By: Roger Laganin

In spite of the floods, the oil spill, and a bout of bluebottle jellyfish, not to mention the recession, Australia's Sunshine Coast recorded another bumper Easter break. Coupled with the news that the Sunshine Coast has seen Queensland's strongest growth for business visitors in the last financial year, the region has much to celebrate.

Figures from the Queensland Business Events Survey show 20,000 business visitors came to the region, spending a minimum average of almost $400-a-day. The figures are particularly significant at a time when businesses are cutting back on their conference expenditure. They demonstrate that quite often a business trip to Sunshine coast accommodation can be easily combined with a family holiday.

As a result of the unprecedented flooding in the week before Easter, there was projected gloom and doom in the region as some tourism operators were forced to close their businesses over one of the coast's busiest weekends of the year.Sunshine Coast accommodation Sunshine Coast tourism

Travel To Australia And Camping In Australia Easy And Comfortable Posted By: Imobiliare bucuresti

???Take enough water: Allow 6 litres/person/day in the summer when temperatures can reach shade temperatures of up to 50C. Take extra water for the vehicle. Take water in multiple containers: they are easier to lift, easier to pack and means that one whole won't loose a significant amount of your water supply.

???Take a good set of relevant maps and a compass. A GPS can be fun and even useful for escaping Sydney's traffic, but a set of good maps are an option not reliant on batteries or you setting the correct datum. But do make sure you know how to read the compass and the map.

???Snakes are an well-advertised pest in Australia - but you are far more likely to be driven crazy by the flies and mozzies. Make sure your tent has an integrated floor and ever door and window is covered with mesh. The flies go at sunset, though the mozzies are worst then. You don't really want to eat until the flies go so you should make sure you have adequate lights (electric, battery or gas-powered) to cook and eat by.

???If you do break down never leave the vehicle. Ever. Under any circumstances.travel-and-leisure outdoors caravan parks in australia caravan parks australian caravan parks australian campsites camping in australia campsites in a

How Can You Find The Right Beach Camping Park? Posted By: Davidson

Australia is one of the largest and the most amazingly beautiful continents across the globe. One of the most well-liked forms of accommodation in Australia is Australia hostels. Aussies travel much more than Americans. The country itself is pristine, unspoiled wilderness, and there is an elegant ruggedness in the Australian soul that is lost to America and Western Europe of today.

The Australia resorts, no matter how delightful and picturesque, were they too expensive when we went on our vacation, and so it was basically left to a choice between plain old-fashioned camping and hotels. We were successfully leeward to the amenities for a few nights of hotel accommodation in Australia, where we could have some much needed privacy and a nice soft bed to rest up in, and then off to the wilderness for us.

The first time was so amazing that I forgot to take a picture, even though I had the camera in my hand. Our family thinks we are crazy because we enjoy watching approaching storms.

When we discovered the joys of beach camping, especially at Florida beach parks that changed.Caravan parks in Australia Caravan Parks Australian Caravan Parks Australian Campsites Camping in Australia Campsites in Australia

The Beautiful Scenery Of Campsites In Australia And Caravan Parks In Australia Posted By: Davidson

People travel for many reasons. Students are usually more adventurous than the average person down the block and they love to travel. Usually the reason the student will tell you that they travel is for fun, excitement or adventure. Sometimes, however, the most important thing about traveling may have little to do with the intention for going. Add the advantage of dirt cheap airline tickets and other student travel advantages and you can't go wrong.

Many times the adventurous nature of students and their general lack of funds for lavish accommodations cause the student traveler to be more receptive to the possibility of getting away from the main tourist attractions. By staying off the beaten path the student can be exposed to the real daily experiences and cultural differences often not seen by the more experienced and better funded traveler.

There are actually many more beautiful places, with great scenery available off the beaten track than on. This type of travel is certainly more for the truly adventurous, but it can afford the person willing to do it the opportunity to associate with the locals, experience their culture firsthand, and even learn and grow in the process.Caravan parks in Australia Caravan Parks Australian Caravan Parks Australian Campsites Camping in Australia Campsites in Australia Australian Wi

Campsites In Australia And Caravan Parks In Australia -wonderful Attractions In Australia Posted By: Davidson

South Australia offers amazing variety and wonderful beauty in every direction. For the nature lover you can choose from the large number of sprawling parks surrounding the city of Adelaide to the vast Flinders Ranges that are a bushwalkers dream.

A caravan holiday can simply be defined as a group of people who travel from one location to another for an extended stay. Depending on the time of year and location, they can be one of the most relaxing periods you can possibly enjoy.

It is easy to see why the caravan parks holiday is quickly becoming a popular way of vacationing. Taking a caravan holiday requires a lot of planning to do. First and foremost, you must decide upon a place or location you would like to begin from. Most people start from your homes but there are other instances where you can start from anywhere you like for those adventure seekers.

To the south of the ranges is the well known Mount Remarkable National Park, which offers bushwalking for all levels of fitness. It is fantastic for any age group with incredible scenery and wildlife to be seen along the tracks.Caravan parks in Australia Caravan Parks Australian Caravan Parks Australian Campsites Camping in Australia Campsites in Australia Australian Wi

The Most Common And Popular Accommodation Options Of Australian Caravan Parks Posted By: Davidson

We had booked 2 camps due to the size of the group, one of the campsites was at the beach and the other one was up at the road. The camps were at a beautiful location, with mountains all around you and the river on one side moving with a thunderous noise.

Bed and Breakfasts

A Bed and Breakfast is often a large family home or property which has either been specifically converted, or purpose built, to accommodate guests in their own rooms, and in most cases with private bathrooms. In some cases bathrooms may be shared amongst guests. The hosts live on the same premises as the guests, usually in a separate part of the Bed and Breakfast. As the name suggests this accommodation option includes both bed and a sumptuous breakfast freshly cooked, or prepared, each morning by the hosts.

Self Contained Accommodation

Some facilities, such as laundry, may have to be shared but your accommodation will include full cooking facilities and a refrigerator. Self contained accommodation can vary from quaint historic cottages, functional homes, cabins, and modern apartments. The self contained option is ideal for families, groups and those who want a bit more privacy.Caravan parks in Australia Caravan Parks Australian Caravan Parks Australian Campsites Camping in Australia Campsites in Australia Australian Wi

The Top 7 Caravan Parks In Australia And Their Location. Posted By: Davidson

Campervan hire is one of the best choices combining accommodation and transport, mainly for the freedom and flexibility you have every day. Below are some of the best caravan parks available in Darwin to make your holiday planning even easier:

1. BIG4 Howard Springs: 170 Whitewood Rd, Howard Springs 1800831169
This has to be one of the best family parks in Darwin, for many reasons. It could be the peaceful location spread over fifteen acres, or maybe the three salt water pools, three spas, sauna, squash courts, games rooms and daily activities. During May to September there is additional nightly entertainment at the park and lots of fun for the whole family. Start planning now for a memorable outback adventure.

2. Oasis Tourist Park: Morgan Road Howard Springs 89831048

With beautiful palm trees welcoming you on your arrival, this is a smaller park but friendly and perfect if you are looking for an outback getaway that will give you plenty of space and solitude. With recent renovations and a shady pool area and large grassy sites you will love this home away from home, and also the proximity to so many exciting attractions.Caravan parks in Australia Caravan Parks Australian Caravan Parks Australian Campsites Camping in Australia Campsites in Australia

The Caravan Parks In Australia - Nice Place For Holiday. Posted By: Davidson

Some of the parks are only offering donga style accommodation, and they are getting in excess of $300 per week for single bed in a donga. At Elvira's Paradise Elvira is going to have Bali style huts and quality decoration. Katherine property values will explode in the next couple of years due mainly to the mining boom but also because more and more tourists are learning about the Northern Territory.

Where else can you go for a holiday and be absolutely guaranteed that it won't rain between the months of May and October and the temperature is usually hovering around 27deg during the day and rarely goes below 15deg at night. We in the Northern Territory take our weather for granted, but the visitor's wake up in the morning and say "what a beautiful day", our answer is "this is what every day is like".

Yet there is something about deserts that is very enticing, something that is attracting tourists in ever increasing numbers. A lot has to do with their stark beauty- weird geological formations and even stranger animals complement the wide open spaces and the sparse shrubbery.Caravan parks in Australia Caravan Parks Australian Caravan Parks Australian Campsites Camping in Australia Campsites in Australia

Experience Australia Without Travel Hassle In A Motorhome From Home Posted By: Hugh Mcinnes

If you're planning your next holiday then you've probably discovered that some cheap airfares advertised aren't so cheap once the government's flight taxes are factored in, many almost doubling the cost of what initially seemed to be a bargain flight.

So why not avoid the hassle of packing suitcases, trekking them and the family to the airport, queuing for check-in, queuing for security, and flying off to some expensive overseas destination when there's a simple home made sun baked hassle free solution - hire a Motorhome!

Only one family member has to go pick up the motorhome, bring it back to the house, load it up with everything you need that's not already provided, and you're off - too easy! Australia doesn't have a city that you can't escape in around an hour and you're out on the open road to where ever you want; though it's recommended to stay south during the tropical north's wet until the dry arrives around April.

You can then relax and enjoy the comfort of your home away from home and the pleasure of traveling at your own pace.Motorhome motor home campervan camper van hire rental rent holiday travel roadtrip
