The Requirements For The Muslim Marriage Posted By: Ankush Singhal

The Muslims practice monogamy, which is just contrary to common beliefs. In the Muslim matrimony, the males are the bread earners of the household. The women stay at home and do the household chores. However, in the Muslim society too, education among women has revolutionized and the females step out of the home for professional reasons. The ladies have their primary rights on the home where they stay, and their husband and sons are obliged to protect them and fulfill their requirements.

For a Muslim Matrimony, there are some requirements to be fulfilled, which are:

1.The choice of spouse: the marriage proposal usually comes from the man. The Muslim marriage is decided by mutual consent, the consent of both spouses is required. The parents generally choose the future husband of their daughters.

If there is no impediment to the marriage, a marriage contract is made between the groom and the marriage guardian of the bride, who gives her consent for the marriage.

2.The marital status: The Mosques generally demand that civil marriage has already taken place, in order to avoid any risk of litigation, but this requirement does not apply everywhere.Jeevansathi muslim matrimony muslim matrimonial muslim bride muslim groom Indian wedding muslim match making services Islamic matrimony

God Is Not Going Away! Posted By: joyce meyer

It's amazing to me when people cuss out in public, they don't get quiet, yet you find Christians if they start to talk about God, they whisper or we pray our headache prayers. I said I'm not gonna be quiet about Jesus! I am not gonna be quiet about Jesus! I am not gonna be quiet about Jesus! You know all this hogwash: Well, you know, religion is a personal thing. It's just something you should keep to yourself.

Well, you try to find that in the bible. Everybody that Jesus touched immediately went and told a whole bunch of other people. How can we possibly say that it's a personal thing and you ought to keep quiet about it? All it does is embarrass people who don't want anything to do with it. All these people today who say they don't believe in God...Joyce Meyer Joyce Meyer Ministries

The Real Time To Spend With Bill Maher -the Controversial Political Critic Posted By: Mark Bennett

Expressing your views is your constitutional right, but at the same time making sure that it does not degrade others is also important. Most of us try not to offend others as we usually care about other's feelings. The same cannot be said about Bill Maher.

For this Christmas, Bill Maher, an atheist comedian and a political commentator, had gotten presents from the conservatives all over US. These conservatives, especially the Christian communities, had expressed displeasure and anger over the comments passed by Maher on his Twitter account about Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. He criticized the way Tim Tebow played against the Buffalo Bills leading to the loss of the Broncos. Predictably Maher could have avoided his comment as Tebow is a religious person and passing comments on Jesus and Satan would never be taken up lightly by the religious conservatives and as well as by Tebow.

Maher is not new to such kind of controversies as he has already twisted the knives in many situations. His various comments on his show 'Real Time with Bill Maher' which runs on the HBO channel has sparked up a lot of anger from the religious and political communities.verizon fios tv bill maher politics

Non-offensive Christianity Posted By: Denny Smith

If someone was to ask you or me what constitutes Christian character what would we say? Off the top of our head we would most likely say love for God and our fellowman and faith in the Lord Jesus. As we thought about it more intently we would add things like the fruit of the spirit, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control." (Gal. 5:22-23 NKJV) We might recall Peter's admonition to add to our faith virtue and godliness in 2 Peter 1. No doubt we would add humility (1 Peter 5:5), mercy and meekness (Col. 3:12), thankfulness (Col. 3:15), and truthfulness (Eph. 4:25) to our list and our list would still not be all inclusive of the good things to be found in Christian character at its best.

It is hard to look back over this list and see anything that should offend anyone. It is certainly not the Christian's desire to offend. The word of God teaches the Christian to "pursue peace with all men" (Heb.Christianity Christian character narrow gate word of God

The small working-class town of Angels Crest is a tight-knit community resting quietly in one of the vast and stunningly beautiful valleys of the Rocky Mountains. Ethan (Thomas Dekker), one of the town's residents, is a young father but not much more than a kid himself. He has no choice but to look after his three-year-old son Nate, since mom Cindy (Lynn Collins) is an alcoholic. But one snowy day, Ethan's good intentions are thwarted by a moment of thoughtlessness, resulting in tragedy. A local prosecutor (Jeremy Piven) haunted by his past goes after Ethan, and the ensuing confusion and casting of blame begins to tear the town apart.
David Hume Hume At 300 By Charlie Finch Posted By: aarenbrowns

We should not allow the year 2011 to slip by without noting that it is the 300th anniversary of the birth of the revolutionary Scottish philosopher David Hume. Without Hume's fundamental insight that causation and, indeed, all rational discourse are closed functions of human subjectivity, the works, to cite a small example of Hume's influence, of Bruce Nauman and his apostle Ryan Trecartin, which play copious games with our assumptions about cause and effect, would not exist.
Born in 1711, David Hume wrote his basic text Treatise on Human Understanding at 25 (it was published three years later), with immediate plans for a second edition. There were still copies of the first edition available in 1756, when an advertisement was proffered for them in conjunction with Hume's sale of his bestseller History of England, with no takers, and a second edition emerged only after Hume's death in 1776.David Hume HUME

Thailand ' Posted By: Aanchal

Batman, Arkham And Lovecraft Posted By: Harvey

Game geeks will probably be salivating at the release of Batman: Arkham City which is due to be out in the UK. Building on the mix of action, gadgets, stealth and strategy of the hugely successful Arkham Asylum, users will be pitted against more of Batman's classic foes in the extended surroundings of the gothically-rendered Arkham.

Fans of the recent films and graphic novels will be familiar with the setting of Arkham as the labyrinthine and dark residence of a maximum-security prison for the criminally and psychotically insane villains of the series. But where did the original idea for Arkham come from?

The concept of a Victorian-gothic sanatorium having questionable treatments bordering on inhumane and more a prison than institution for rehabilitation isn't new, of course. In fact it would be fair to say that most of the Victorian-era mental asylums fell into this category, so it's fertile ground for the grim-minded and horror fanatics to give that extra creepy ambience to a tale. The name "Arkham" however, comes from the American modern gothic horror writer H.P. Lovecraft.console games batman arkham asylum arkham city
