Chris Hansen Nbc Posted By: Derek Gray

Chris Hansen is an investigative journalist for Dateline NBC does a awesome job. He has courage to be able to confront people face to face. Some people will say that's because he has all this security around him but there are news pieces he does where he does not.

Most of you know Chris Hansen from To Catch A Predator, which was when Dateline worked with a group called Perverted Justice. Perverted Justice goes online pretending to be teens to find adults who're willing to get together with them to have sex. They then invited the adult over their house and when the adult showed up Chris Hansen confronted them.

In the first few episodes the adults who did this weren't arrested, right away. After that they worked with the local police departments in the area Dateline was doing the investigation who did a parallel investigation and arrested those adults right after they left the house after speaking with Chris.

Dateline rented these beautiful large houses where Chris Hansen, Perverted Justice, and all the camera crew were working out of a different part of the house that the adult coming over would not see.chris hansen dateline nbc dateline to catch a predator the debt trap nbc

New Motions Filed In Welfare Benefit Plan Case - Nova's Latest Attempt To Hide The Truth Posted By: Brian Mahany

IRS Special Agent Shaun Schrader's affidavit in support of a search warrant for NOVA Benefit Plan's offices in Connecticut has been widely circulated and reported. That affidavit is particularly damning for NOVA and apparently NOVA now wants to restrict your right to read it.

On January 31st, NOVA's lawyers filed an Emergency Motion to Seal the affidavit. No ruling has yet been made by the court. NOVA Benefit Plans, Benistar 419 Plan AND Trust, Grist Mill Trust, US Benefits Group and others - all players or promoters in welfare benefit and 419 plans - filed the motion.

During the investigation leading up to the raid of NOVA's headquarters, several undercover IRS special agents posed as potential customers. The agents recorded conversations with senior company officials. These officials all but admitted the program was a scam. These recordings are transcribed in part in the search warrant affidavit. Apparently the promoters don't want their clients hearing the truth - the truth that they probably have sunk hundreds of millions of dollars in abusive tax shelters. Investments that NOVA said were legal.welfare benefit plans IRS lawyer NOVA Benefit Plans Benistar Grist Mill Trust abusive tax shelter asset recovery lawyer tax fraud tax scam IRS

Spam is unsolicited bulk email. It's usually the same email sent in mass mailings used to promote a service or product or to propagate a virus. Some spam is truly fraudulent. The folks sending the spam (known as spammers) use false contact info to line up their email accounts . The spammers then send out mass emails, creating false claims so as to solicit money from the recipients. The infamous Nigerian 419 scam is an example of fraudulent spam.

A lot of companies use spam as a selling tool. Not all industrial email is spam, since some recipients might have willingly chosen to receive promotional mailings. Still, a lot of firms do resort to spam, and use several totally different ways to urge away with this. Some rent a third to send out messages, that way they don't have to accommodate complaints or different problems ensuing from the spam. Some "spoof" their email address, that is a method that hides the important email address, covering it up with a pretend email address chosen by the spammer. Spammers are increasingly using virus-infected computers to send their spam for them.Idaho Carpet Tiles

Irs Cracks Down On Welfare Benefit Plans Posted By: Brian Mahany

Recent court cases have highlighted serious problems in plans welfare benefit plans issued by Nova Benefit Plans of Simsbury, Connecticut. Recently unsealed IRS criminal case information now raises concerns with other plans as well. If you have any type plan issued by NOVA Benefit Plans, U.S. Benefits Group, Benefit Plan Advisors, Grist Mill trusts, Rex Insurance Service or Benistar, contact a competent tax lawyer immediately. You may be subject to an audit or in some cases, criminal prosecution.

On November 17th, 59 pages of search warrant materials were unsealed in the Nova Benefit Plans litigation currently pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. According to these documents, the IRS believes that Nova is involved in a significant criminal conspiracy involving the crimes of Conspiracy to Impede the IRS and Assisting in the Preparation of False Income Tax Returns.

Earlier this year, 70 armed IRS Criminal Division special agents raided the offices of Nova Benefit Plans in Connecticut. The IRS has taken other recent criminal enforcement actions in other states including Nebraska and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The IRS has told the court that it believes Nova is promoting abusive "section 419" welfare benefit plans.welfare benefit plan IRS lawyer Grist Mill Nova Benefits Plan Benefit Plan Advisors Benistar US Benefits Group abusive tax shelter

Strathclyde University And Associates: Virus Scam Warnings And Other Hoaxes Posted By: davidgani

If you receive a 'virus or a scam warning' in your email, the first and only action you should take is to forward it to the Helpdesk, maybe copy the message to your Departmental Computing Officer, and await advice. We will check it out, and let you know if it is a genuine threat, whether anyone in the University is at risk, and whether we need to issue a general alert.

Strathclyde University and Associates: Guidelines For Dealing With Virus Warnings And Other Hoaxes - Do not forward it to everyone you know. If this warning did not come from your recognised IT support people (IT Services or your Departmental Computing Officer), then the chances are extremely high that it is a hoax. This is especially likely to be true if the mail was forwarded by a friend, even if they "know about these things".

Spotting Virus Hoaxes
Virus hoaxes are actually fairly easy to spot, once you've seen a few of them. They all use pretty much the same sort of language, lots of use of CAPITALS, usually mention some major IT company you've heard of (e.g.University of Strathclyde strathclyde university strathcly

Ponzi Schemes: Don't Be A Victim. Posted By: Kevin Connell

We are all aware that financial schemes are rampant, especially in the digital age when con artists can wreak havoc and be gone before unsuspecting targets even know what hit them. Although, baby boomers are often the targets of such schemes because they have a lifetime of money to invest, up and coming young investors are prime targets as well. This may be because they are often inexperienced, less likely to check references and company history, more likely to rely on internet sources, and under a lot of pressure to secure a sizeable retirement fund from a small savings.

Ponzi schemes are financial investment scams that promise high returns. For a while, most Ponzi schemes are sustainable. They pay old 'investors' from money gained from new investors, not investment proceeds as each investor assumes. As long as new investors keep the scheme flush with cash, old investors may never uncover the scheme. These schemes are rarely the decades-long scams as the one perpetrated by Ponzi "giant" Bernie Madoff during which investors, large and small, lost millions, often their life savings.Charles Ponzi Ponzi Schemes financial inverstment scams scamming investors Bernie Madoff

Internet Scams Spanish Prisoner Posted By: Odesi Desko.

This particular scam has its origins in the 1500s, where thieves took advantage of many victims and left them without any money. Due to how it started, it's known as the Spanish Prisoner. Apparently, the powerful nature of Spain left it with a lot of enemies, leaving suspicions high. Scammers would tell victims that a member of Spanish royalty had been taken prisoner, and bribes would be required to release them. By offering their money to release the reward, not only would they be promised large rewards, but a princess would be offered as well.As with any con it required some research in order to only contact "soft" yet financially solid targets, as well as a demeanor that's hard to duplicate. This type of conman can sell anything to anyone and get away with not only the money, but with the mark not initially realizing they've been duped. This type of confidence game continues today, but can take various forms. As always it relies on confidentiality, mystery, and a feeling that a great deal is at stake. They play on the fact that, at heart, people want to save the world and come out financially well-off in the process.spanish prisoner scam email fraud internet technology

Watch Out For The Domain Appraisal Scam Posted By: David Cassell

In the spirit of the Nigerian 419 scam, for the past couple of years, the domain appraisal scam has been doing the rounds on the internet.

It is very easy for unsuspecting domain owners to get caught up in this scam. However, with the info provided in this article and a little common sense, the only thing one might lose is the few seconds it takes to read an email.

Here is how the domain appraisal scam works:

You are contacted with an email that goes like this:

Hello,

We purchase/resell domain names and developed websites. Now we consider your domain. What is your price?

If you have other domains for sale feel free to send your list.

Looking forward to do business with you.

Regards,

xxxxx xxxxxxxx

CEO

xxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx LLC

Now, if you respond with a price - say $5000, you'll get another email like this:

Hello,

5000 USD? Ok

Did you use zzzzzzxxxxxx.com before? I think this is the best place for domain/money transfer.

Do you have an appraisal certificate?

Domain name is an investment for me. In other words I'm going to sell your name later and make a profit.domain appraisal scam domains domain names email domaining business

Nigerian Fraud Posted By: Odesi Desko

Within the last few years, the 419 fraud has quickly become one of the most prevalent forms of fraud out there. Due to widespread use of the Internet, it has since become far easier to commit fraudulent activity and target thousands of people, specifically through email accounts. In order to work, this method requires the recipient to advance money to the fraudulent people under the promise of receiving a gain on their money.Even though the advance-fee scam has been operating for a few years in certain countries in Africa, additional countries have started their own scams. The victim receives an email that informs them that, for a comparatively small amount of money that's advanced to the scammer, they will get much more in return. Despite the obvious illegality of the entire procedure, people have still participated in it and been scammed. In this fraud a person is contacted and told that the writer is entitled to a large amount of money, but a certain amount of money must be advanced for administration fees and their personal bank account number must be provided so funds can be transferred.Scam 419 Nigerian Scams 419 Eater 419 Scam Baiters 419 Scam Baiting Nigerian Scams 419 Scam 419 Nigerian 419 Scam 419 Email Fraud Nigerian Fraud Niger

Overview Of Spanish Prisoner Scam Posted By: Odesi Desko

Since the 16th century scam artists have employed a highly profitable swindle that has impoverished unnumbered targets. It is labeled the Spanish Prisoner because it originated in Spain. Other nations became suspicious of Spain at that time because of its continuous menace. A "mark" (the prey) is told that an aristocrat has been imprisoned in Spain and is relying on the con artist to raise bribes needed to secure his release. If the mark would supply some of the money, he was promised that he would be rewarded generously upon the release of the prisoner, and furthermore could wed the prisoner's beautiful daughter. As with any con it required some research in order to only contact "soft" yet financially solid targets, as well as a demeanor that's hard to duplicate. This type of conman can sell anything to anyone and get away with not only the money, but with the mark not initially realizing they've been duped. This type of confidence game continues today, but can take various forms. As always it relies on confidentiality, mystery, and a feeling that a great deal is at stake.Spam Fraud Spanish Prisoner Fake Fraud Spanish Prisoner Spanish Prisoner Fraud Internet Scams Fraud Spanish Prisoner Online Fraud Spanish Prisoner Fra

How to Build A Home Based Business Faster Even With Bad Press

We have all seen it, the newspaper article or the TV piece about another scam or fraud being blamed on the home based business industry. Sure there have been and always will be bad eggs in the industry but that doesn't mean that has to hold you back from building a wildly successful MLM business.

In fact, if you do this the right way, it won't matter what the press has to say- ever!

The people already involved in the industry understand the power and potential of the opportunity they are part of. They know they are in a unique position and have found the right way to earn money.

They also know the time and effort involved in making this work and are ready and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals.

Those are the people you need to talk to about your business.

We call them opportunity buyers and they are the perfect prospects.bbb bashes mlm bad press for mlm dealing with bbb and mlm mlm bad reputation get around mlm bad reputation bbb gives mlm a bad name
