How Much Memory Does Your Foam Have?

One of the most exciting developments in sleep systems has been the introduction of memory foam. Visco elastic memory foam can be found in a wide variety of different mattresses and is even used for pillows. For many folks, memory foam provides the support and comfort needed for a quality night's sleep. The quality of the foam used can make a significant difference in how long your memory foam mattress lasts.

Since we spend about three thousand hours in bed every year, sleep is an important part of our lives. For years, folks who had trouble sleeping were said to have simple insomnia. After years of research, we know that insomnia is not merely the inability to sleep. Insomnia is a multifaceted condition that can have profound and sometimes serious effects on our health and wellbeing.

Insomnia and other types of sleep-related orders are rarely considered cured. Treatment depends on the type of sleep disorder. Conditions like sleep apnea can be treated by mechanical means or even corrective surgery. Other sleep disorders are treated with drug and even sleep therapies. The inability to fall asleep and to stay asleep can be frustrating and detrimental to our health.** End Summary**
About the Author:
Mitch Endick is a staff writer for the quality online store FineWebStores.com .
Mattress Shopping 101 Yields Results

Shopping for a new mattress need not be a chore. Consumers have a whole host of options when it comes to choosing the right mattress. Having access to information on a colossal scale, modern consumers can arm themselves with enough information to make better purchasing decisions.

Much of the information presented to consumers comes from the tried and true world of advertising. Advertising can be highly informative and helpful to the average consumer. But advertising can be two edged sword, especially if the ad contains more fluff and hype. Consumers are left to sort out the facts from the fluff.

Shopping for a new mattress is quite similar to shopping for a new car. Since we spend an average of three thousand hours a year in bed, choosing the right mattress can be every bit as important as that new car. Recent studies have shown that getting enough quality sleep can have significant health benefits and the mattress can have effect how we sleep.

The old adage you get what you pay for is very applicable in choosing a new sleep system. A low cost mattress may be a fine choice if it is comfortable.** End Summary**
About the Author:
Mitch Endick is a staff writer for the quality online store FineWebStores.com .
Memory Foam Mattress vs. Coil Spring Mattress

The innerspring mattress has been around for over one hundred years. During the late eighteen hundreds and early nineteen hundreds, the bed spring was seen as a major advancement in sleep systems. Even in a country that was experiencing explosive economic growth during the Industrial Revolution, many Americans would have been happy with a wooded box filled with straw or old rags. Owning a proper mattress was often a sign of economic wellbeing.

By the nineteen thirties, the innerspring mattress was sweeping the bedding market. The government began to implement strict standards for bedding construction requiring manufacturers to disclose the material content. Coupled with these improved disclosure laws about mattress content and construction, the combination of an innerspring mattress and box spring foundation became the standard by which beds were measured.

So with over one hundred years of design and sales history, the traditional box spring and mattress seemed here to stay. Indeed, a sleep system based on the traditional innerspring mattress has many competing products. Air adjustable mattresses, hard sided waterbeds, soft sided water beds, futons, and foam mattresses all have a share of the mattress market.** End Summary**
About the Author:
Mitch Endick is a staff writer for the quality online store FineWebStores.com .
Bunk Beds Add More Than Space to Childrens Rooms

Bunk beds have been a staple of bedroom furniture for generations. Bunk beds of all kinds can be found in dormitories, military barracks and ships. Creating more sleeping space has always been one the advantages of the ubiquitous bunk bed.

For families with kids who share a bedroom, a bunk bed can add space to the child's room. The basic design of the bunk bed has not changed much over the years, two beds or more beds, one atop another. Bunk bed designers have created fun and practical bunk beds that are perfect for any decorating theme.

More than just a place to sleep, a bunk bed can be a child's own space. Whether for a multi-child household or giving overnight guest a comfortable place to sleep, the bunk is a versatile piece of bedroom furniture. Bunk beds offer some definite advantages to growing families.

Designers have created many variations of the traditional bunk bed design of one bed atop another. A popular variation is the twin over full bunk bed. The twin bed is on top and full sized bed is on the bottom and there are two different versions of the twin over bed.** End Summary**
About the Author:
Mitch Endick is a staff writer for the quality online store FineWebStores.com .
The Turkish Angora is a medium, muscular and fine boned cat. Their large almond eyes range from green, gold, blue and copper. They mainly have white coats which are silky and medium long. Even though white is the dominate color, other colors are desirable. Parti, solids and tabbies are becoming more popular. Brief History of the Turkish Angora Cat

As the names implies, the Turkish Angora is thought to have originated in Turkey. Some of the earliest references appeared in Europe around the Sixteenth Century. A program that originated in Turkey helped to reestablish the breed and the first Turkish Angora are said to have appeared in the United States in the mid 1950s. The breed gained recognition by the Cat Fanciers Association in 1968 and was given championship registration in 1972.

The California Spangled Cat is a designer breed specifically created to resemble a small leopard or an ocelot. The body shape of the California Spangled is lean and long, with adult males weighing between 12 and 15 pounds. Adult females can weigh up to 10 pounds.

The eyes are almond shaped and the ears are medium and rounded. The spots and coloration give this cat a wild look but they have been bred for both looks and good personality. They love being in the company of a favored human and are considered very affectionate and playful.

California Spangled Cat History

The development of the Anthropologist Louis Leakey motivated Paul Casey to develop a breed of cat that resembles a miniature leopard. This engineered breed includes a variety of breeds plus street cats from Malaya and Cairo. Twenty years ago, the breed was thought to be extinct but has rebounded, growing in popularity. The California Spangled is recognized by The International Cat Association TICA as a registered breed.

The ancestor of all domestic cats is the African Wildcat, the genus Felis Lybica. This genus is comprised of smaller cats.** End Summary**
About the Author:
Mitch Endick is a short article writer for the popular shopping site Alphabet Rug.com .
