The city has much to offer the visiting tourist including dozens of amazing historical sights that cannot be found anywhere else in the nation, as well as plenty of other dazzling attractions that you will want to take photos of when you travel here. To better help you make the most out of a vacation to this burgeoning metropolis, this list of top five must-see destinations are certainly worth setting aside some time to see when here to visit.

A city known for great weather and cloudy mornings, steep, hilly streets that offer crowded parallel parking and some of the best and freshest seafood that you will ever taste...indeed there is much to this city by the bay that doesn't initially meet the eye.
After the Mexican-American Wars, when the great state of California was finally an official and wholly portion of the union of states, although it was not really until the late 1800s that San Diego would come into its own. The great railroad systems are what really nurtured this once small city, which today is actually the second largest city in the state, and one of the largest cities in the United States. Of course, San Diego is best known for serving as the Pacific Command Center during World War II, and even today it is still the hub of Pacific central operations for the US military, housing four major bases, one from each military branch of the government. However, there is so much more to see in this amazing city than just military bases or wharfs and piers. If you plan on traveling to San Diego, there are some absolute must-sees that you shouldn't pass on by.

The one and the only Las Vegas: Sin City, the gambling haven of America where even brothels - at least in some districts of the city - are still allowed. Ambiguous couples can tie the knot with a priest that is dressed up like Elvis, who sings their wedding vows to them. You can even have an Elvis-styled, spur of the moment bar or bat mitzvah. Indeed, from dancing burlesque troupe stage shows, to Elton John, the Blue Man Group, David Copperfield, and about a million and one variety shows that occur daily - similar to what you would find on Broadway in New York City - all the way to amazing casinos decorated lavishly with presidential suites, indoor amusement parks and even gondola rides, Las Vegas has a little bit of something for everybody. A city that was created by the then off-the-wall-fathoming of notorious gangster, Bugsy Siegel, who was later killed when his first casino took time to ferment. Just don't forget to check out these list-toppers of places that are must-see when you are in Las Vegas.

New Orleans...the 'Big Easy.' Made famous by the annual Mardi Gras festival, Southern hospitality and witchcraft, and of course, Bourbon Street and the French Quarters. But, there is much more to New Orleans than just these fervent attractions. Yes indeed, Mardi Gras is the most notable because of the high popularity of this annual festival, and because of all that it represents regarding the rich cultural mixture and heritage of this amazing city. However, there is much more to this town than just a festival. Even after devastation by recent hurricanes and the lack of the government's response to the disaster in the days that followed, New Orleans is a town of stubbornness and might, the ability to recover without begging for indifference by the masses. This place is truly one-of-a-kind, a city that comes into its own and that is one of the oldest cities in the country.

Kansas City Missouri - not to be confused with the other Kansas City, Kansas - is a vibrant and historically rich city that does indeed have many amazing places to see and things to do if you are visiting. Located roughly 250 miles west of St. Louis, set right on the border of Kansas, this city is one of the only cities in the United States that is actually positioned on two state borders, the Kansas side and the Missouri side. It is important to note that the Missouri side is where all of the fun and excitement occurs, from the revitalized downtown area, the many museums and the historical districts, not forgetting the rich history of this great city. On the Kansas side, the city consists mostly of suburbs and is actually lacking in any areas of real interest.

During the early 1800s, this city was a true staple to the wagon trains and settler routes that defined America. The city financially suffered during the Civil War but was later revived during the railroad tycoon revolution that saw thousands of stockyards populate the state. **End Summary** Topics: Kansas City travel to Kansas City Kansas City Travel Missouri Kansas City Missouri Kansas City Zoo 18th Vine District Nelson-Atkins Museum of
About the Author:
To learn more about amazing Kansas City, MO vacation spots, including our full top ten list of spots to visit, great links and tons of free information, please visit: http://www.KansasCityVacationTravelsGuide.com.

This list of top five places is both diverse and magnificent, and can make any trip to the Rocky Mountain State one that you will remember for a long time to come.

Aspen: Perhaps the most advertised and the best known city in Colorado, with exception of course to Denver, Aspen has much to offer. This quaint and lavish town boasts a historical main street that offers street-side vendors, authentic foods, the opera, wine tasting and plenty of cool little shops to explore. Of course, skiing and snow sports are the main bread and butter in Aspen, so make sure you hit this place up during the snowy months. Don't forget to check out the nearby Maroon Bells for awesome views and some breathtaking, scenic hiking. **End Summary** Topics: Colorado travel travel in Colorado Colorado travel travel to Colorado Colorado Aspen Colorado Aspen Breckenridge Miller Coors Brewery Mesa V
About the Author:
Bio: For more free information on Colorado travel, and for a complete top ten list of things to see and do please visit: www.Coloradovacationtravelsguide.com

Waipio Valley: At the tip of the northern Hamakua Coast you will find this plush, serene and relatively untouched valley that is truly a spectacle for the eyes. This amazing valley was the home to the famed Hawaiian King Kamehameha during his youth, appropriately dubbed "The Valley of the Kings." This one mile wide and five mile deep valley features amazing cliffs that rise nearly 2,000 feet into the sky, many with natural waterfalls cascading down them, including the largest waterfall on the Big Island, Hiilawe Falls, which drops an impressive 1,300 feet. **End Summary** Topics: Hawaii travel travel in Hawaii Hawaii travel travel to Hawaii Hawaii Waipio Valley Puuhonua O Hanaunau National Historical Park Hilo Art Galle
About the Author:
Bio: For more free information on Hawaii travel, and for a complete top ten list of things to see and do please visit: www.hawaiivacationtravelsguide.com
