Jim Carrey is by far one of the most unique characters on the big screen today. His faces and comical style bring a laugh to just about any persons face. His comedy is just as much fun for the young as it is for the old, which makes many of his movies not only appropriate for, but also hilarious for the whole family. The Liar, Liar DVD is absolutely no exception when it comes to Jim Carrey movies; as a matter of fact it is definitely one of his best roles. Not quite as dumb as some of his roles and yet some of his better all around comedies. In this movie Carrey plays a lawyer, yes a lawyer, hard to picture but it's true. He is absolutely all a lawyer should be, but not all that a dad should be. This recently divorced father is used to letting down his 5 year old son. Unfortunately for Miley, very soon into the vacation, Hannah is needed to help save the town from unscrupulous developers. Not only that but then she has to keep news reporters from unearthing her secret. As the stress begins to mount, Miley finds herself wondering if she really wants to live a double life anymore or come out of the closet once and for all. The answer to this will be a difficult one, but with the help of her friends and family she will make the decision to.No spoilers here, you will have to see this incredible film for the ending to this saga. Newstead House, built in 1846, is the oldest surviving home in Brisbane. Originally it was built for one of the first European Settlers, Patrick Leslie, then sold in 1847 to government resident and magistrate Captain John Wickham. This was the unofficial government house for quite some time until the real one was built in 1862.
