Astariel - Glowing Gobs of Technology

In the spirit of all things funky, why not take a look at a game that really pushes the bizarre envelope. Astariel, is just such a game. Whomever the geniuses are that created this digital fiasco, I really need to know what they were smoking, drinking, ingesting, or shooting. Cause, I gotta get me some. This was the most fun I've had with a space shooting game in a long time. Frantic . . . yes, mesmerizing . . . yes, beautiful . . . yes, but really really fun as well.

The opening credits and many of the background screens remind me very much of the look of the game HomeWorld. Kind of glowing, oscillating, spectacularly colorful screens of stars, nebulas, and various otherworldly spacescapes. It's really mesmerizing just to watch the colors shift and and morph. But, don't get too hypnotized by it all, cause once the action starts, it really gets wild.

This is the stuff screen savers are made of. It's really cool, if you can set your video settings to high detail within the game. Otherwise you'll be looking at just another eighties arcade type screen. The other thing I really liked, was the ability for the game to go wide screen. **End Summary** Topics: games retro games game downloads free games
About the Author:
Please download Astariel , and other great games at Games For Sale

Platypus Game - Brilliant, Artistic, and Forgotten

Platypus is one of those games that surprises you by being better, than what you expect. It's never really gotten the kudos it deserves, and that's a shame. So, being it's one of my all time favorite casual games out there, I thought I'd make it the first official review I write for GamesForSail. One of the most obviously striking characteristics of the game are it's graphics. Now, don't start rolling your eyes, as it's not eye bulging graphics you'd see on one of the next gen games like BioShock, or Crysis.More... It's really old school, but very artistic and creative in a way that embodies the best of what independent games are all about.

The original developer Anthony Flack actually handcrafted all the graphics you see in the game in modeling clay. He then digitized all the clay models, and incorporated them into the game. It is incredibly unique and cool to play. Can you imagine the time, passion, and love this guy pored into the game. He's since lost all rights to the game title, but that's another story.

As squishy fun as the graphics in this game are, the music is pretty striking as well. **End Summary** Topics: platypus game casual game free game
About the Author:
Please download Platypus , and other great games at Games For Sale

Mutant Storm - Tripping The Light Fantastic

Now this is one freaky game. Mutant Storm, is like a mad mash of disco balls, lava lamps, psychedelics, arcade game frenzy, with a dash of Jimi Hendrix thrown in for good measure. You know those visualization plugins that come with Winamp, and Windows Media Player. They make all those weird combinations of light, color and movement based on the sound of the music. This game is kinda like those, except for the little alien thing-a-ma-jings that are trying to wipe you out.

There a little funky themselves, but more on them later. Visually speaking, I'm not sure I've seen another game quite like this one. And yes, it is one of my favorites. Hey it's my blog, and I'm gonna talk about the obscure little games I like that don't get the recognition I think they deserve. Maybe at some point I'll run out of the good games, and start trashing the lame ones, but that could take me a while. In the mean time, there's great games like Mutant Storm to talk about first.

Now this game has been around for a while, and maybe you've played it before, and maybe you haven't. **End Summary** Topics: mutant storm games free games game downloads
About the Author:
Please download Mutant Storm , and other great games at Games For Sale

Fossils - Window Into Our Past

We humans seem to have a rather curious obsession with things that happened in the past. At least humans of the age of 18 seem to. One of the best ways to get a glimpse of the way things used to be is through the analysis of fossils. This is where palaeontologists come in. With their expertise, and the help a few well preserved fossils, it's truly amazing the things they can find out about our ancient neighbours.

When palaeontologists first discover a set of fossils or even old bones, they take plenty of photographs and notes. Using the position of the remains can tell a whole lot about how the collection of bones for example will fit together. Bones can tell some interesting things that most of us probably never realized. Markings on a bone can tell where muscles were attached, and can really help palaeontologists flesh out the rest of a dinosaur. On the more obvious side, bones tell a lot about the shape and weight of the animal they belonged to.

Finding fossil footprint of a dinosaur can also reveal a wealth of information. **End Summary** Topics: fossils fossil dinosaur prehistoric
About the Author:
Enjoy more reading about

10 Reasons To Learn Spanish

Having a hard time coming up with a reason to sign up for Spanish 101. I'm not. Here's a few to think about.

1. Planning a trip to a Spanish speaking country.
There is certainly no shortage of exotic and fun places to travel to, where Spanish is a popular language. Mexico, Spain, Cuba, Panama, and Argentina are just a few. Just imagine how much more enjoyable a vacation in any of these countries would be if you could converse with the locals in their native tongue. Possibly even discover some secrets not revealed in the generic travel brochures.

2. Falling in love with someone who speaks Spanish.
They say you can't pick your family, but you can pick your friends . . . and lovers. Maybe that cute Spanish speaking guy or girl you ride next to on the bus every day, would really be impressed, if you were able to use a introductory line with a few Spanish words. Careful with the translations here though. First impressions are important.

3. Career advancement in a job that favors bilingualism.
Perhaps your company has some great opportunities, but only for bilingual speaking employees. **End Summary** Topics: learn spanish learn spanish online language travel
About the Author:
If you really want to learn Spanish online , then click here: Learn Spanish .

A Fossils Formidable Years

Ever wonder exactly what a fossil is or where they came from? Fossils are actually the remains of plants or animals that lived millions of years ago. While that is what they are, fossils still to this day serve a very important purpose. They are able to provide some very important information about what life was like millions of years ago. A YouTube video blog from the past, you might say. Only not so annoying.

A fossil is a long time in the making. Millions of years actually. A very gradual process. It all begins when a creature dies, or a plant drops into some sediment. Usually, this sediment is at the bottom of a lake, river or stream. Sediment is made of mud and sand. Over time, with the pressure of the water, the sediment eventually turns into rock. The water provides not only pressure, but minerals also. Those minerals seep their way into the remains of the creature or plant and begin to dissolve. As they dissolve, the crystallize, and begin the transformation from skeleton to fossil. Depending on the types of minerals in the water, the fossil can form in two separate ways. **End Summary** Topics: fossils fossil facts archealogy history
About the Author:
To learn more about

Are Your Children Leaders?

Every just watched a group of kids playing and noticed the dynamics involved? If your a parent I'm sure you have. Some kids seem to get along great with others, some seem to play more on their own, some are nothing but trouble, and some seem very nurturing. Of course, whether it's a group of boys, or girls, or a mix of both will affect the group dynamics.

Can you pick tomorrows future leaders out of the bunch? It's not necessarily just the bossy ones you should pick. Think about the real leaders in your daily life, and what qualities they exhibit. Those that lead by example, encourage others to do better, and bring others together to work towards a common goal. Those may seem like lofty qualities to find in small children, but if you look closely, you will see some that do exhibit those very qualities.

Little Leadership Learned

Leadership is not just about being the one telling others what to do. While that may be a part of what leaders do, it only works successfully after they have earned the trust and respect of others. **End Summary** Topics: leadership childern
About the Author:
If you enjoyed this article and want to learn more about leadership visit http://ethicalleadership.info or read more articles about leadership and other topics by this author at http://foolishmumbles.com

Total Fitness Is Easier Then You Think

While total fitness may sound like a huge commitment require hours and hours of exercise time, it's really not. What it is really about is balance. Not the balance beam kind of balance, but more the balanced nutrition kind of balance. It means doing a variety of different exercise that have different goals in mind. Instead of just focusing on muscle mass, orcardio, or flexibility, total fitness means devoting a little time to each of these categories. While chances are that a single focused workout will have components of all these categories, the single focused work out really only focuses heavily on one thing. Total fitness workouts however are great for preparing you physically and mentally for participating in a wider range of sports and physical activities.

Total Fitness Road Map

It's not complicated to modify your current workout to transform it into a total fitness workout. All you need to do, is find a little balance. The easiest way to do this, is to focus on one component of your total fitness workout each time you exercise. **End Summary** Topics: total fitness fitness yoga pilates muscle
About the Author:
If you enjoyed this article and want to learn more about total fitness visit http://lifefitnessdeals.info or read more articles about total fitness and other topics by this author at http://foolishmumbles.com

Musical Instruments Make Better Toys

So many children's toys these days have virtually no value after a very short time. Musical instrument toys however have the potential to last for a lifetime. Not just from a durability perspective, but they are one of the few toys you can buy your children that can have a positive effect on them for the rest of their lives. Apart from the educational value, musical instrument toys can expose your children to the value of art and artistry through music. There are musical instrument toys for kids of all age. From infants to teenagers. Of course, at some point they stop being toys, and become real musical instruments. Apart from the biggest difference being price, the older your kids are when playing with musical instruments, the more likely the positive long term effects will be.

It Starts With A Little Rhythm

The younger the better. All babies love banging pots and pans, which is a pretty reasonably priced solution for a musical instrument, but at some point you may want to move them up to something thatdoesn't have spaghetti stains on it. Possibly even something a little quieter. **End Summary** Topics: musical instruments music children
About the Author:
If you enjoyed this article and want to learn more about musical instrument toys visit http://makingmusicalinstruments.info or read more articles about musical instrument toys and other topics by this author at http://foolishmumbles.com

Have you every wondered if you have acid reflux? There are a few symptoms you can watch for, before visiting your doctor. Your esophagus is the muscle in your throat that gets the food from your throat into your stomach for digestion. Sometimes things work in reverse, and in that case stomach acids can come back up from your stomach into your esophagus. This can happen frequently or intermittently. Patients with acid reflux may go for weeks without experiencing symptoms, and then have a re-occurrence. It really depends on the individual, and the severity of the condition.

Achy Breaky Heart

Heartburn is not a pleasant feeling, and really has nothing to do with the heart, but is like the most recognized of the acid reflux symptoms. Although some heart conditions do present with the same burning sensation as heartburn. Heartburn got its name, because the burning sensation patients feel, occurs around the breastbone area. Heartburn can often be more severe with the consumption of several popular food and drinks, such as alcohol, chocolate, coffee, cola, tea, and many spicy or fatty foods.

Alzheimers Info To Make Your Life Easier

Probably one of the most difficult things you'll every have to do, is care for someone with Alzheimers. The reality that the person with Alzheimers is likely very close to you, only makes the task more challenging. Being armed with as much Alzheimers info as possible, and knowing where you can turn to if you need more help or information can make a world of difference. Being someone who cares for another human being puts you into a category with a high degree of burnout. It can be a stressful, thankless job. You need to stack the odds in your favor as much as possible.

Don't Be Afraid To Ask

Nobody likes to look clueless, and it's human nature to be reluctant to ask questions. Now is the time to go against that nature. The medical community, specifically your physician, or the physician of your patient should be your first avenue for help. Be as involved as possible in their care That includes doctor visits, hospital visits, and any therapy or coping sessions the Alzheimers afflicted individual attends. Seek out other sources of information as well. Support groups, medical journals, newsletters are all good places to start. **End Summary** Topics: Alzheimers Alzheimer
About the Author:
If you enjoyed this article and want to learn more about Alzheimers visit http://alzheimerdiseasehistory.info or simply read other articles about Alzheimers and other topics by this author at http://foolishmumbles.com

The iPod Is Almost Obselete

The iPod, in all its aliases such as nano, and the shuffle are practically antiques. Functionally, it's really just a personal stereo, which was originally patented by Srirekam Jayram Purushotam in 1974. It first reached true commercial success with the electronics giant Sony in 1979 when they sold their first Walkman model called the Soundabout. The iPod is still filling the same need, but using newer technology to do it better. Many of today's generation of clones marching around with white ear buds growing out of their ears, have probably never heard of a Walkman. Much in the same way the next batch will have no idea what the heck an iPod is.

There is technology just waiting in the wings which will replace the iPod as we know it. The iPod (and most mp3 players) markets, and differentiates its line of products by capacity. All the models really do the same thing, with the same set of controls. The biggest difference between them and the biggest factor determining price, is the capacity of the drives inside them. The second differentiating factor is of course the color. Kind of hard to charge more for blue or pink though. **End Summary** Topics: ipod ipod nano mp3 mp3 player
About the Author:
If you enjoyed this article and want to learn more about iPod Nanos procedures visit http://audiomp3players.info or simply read other articles about iPod Nanos and other topics by this author at http://foolishmumbles.com

You Can Make A Holiday Gift Basket

Tired of trying to find just the right present for that oh so important person in your life. Or even those not so important people in your life. Making and giving a holiday gift basket could be just the thing your looking for. So your not a real creative, crafty kind of person. It doesn't really matter. What matters, is that you know the people your buying gifts for. At least I assume you do. Why else would you be giving them gifts? Knowing that person gives you an edge, that no retailer has. You can put just the right collection of gifts together that will appeal to your gift receiver.

Just A Little Planning

If it truly is the thought that counts, then now is the time to prove it. Spend some time thinking about what your intended recipient enjoys and wants. Think about how they spend their free time, what hobbies they have, what interests them, and maybe what is something that they would never buy for them self. These are all items that could go into their holiday gift basket. **End Summary** Topics: gift basket holiday gift basket
About the Author:
If you enjoyed this article and want to learn more about a holiday gift basket procedures visit http://lastminuteholidaydeals.info or simply read other articles about a holiday gift basket and other topics by this author at http://foolishmumbles.com

Vasectomy - What You Need To Know, But Don't

If you are considering having a vasectomy, and under the impression that the procedure can always be reversed at a later date, there is something you should know. Not every doctor considers the procedure reversible. If you even think there is a slight chance you may want to have children in the future then you should be considering other forms of birth control.

Things Your Afraid To Ask

As with all medical procedures, nothing is guaranteed one hundred percent. There is always a chance even a very small one, that things won't work. For example, there is about a 1 in 1000 possibility, that the vasa deferentia will grow back. What this means essentially, is that it will be possible for you to get your partner pregnant. The vasectomy procedure, is not immediately effective. There is at least an eight week period following the procedure, where the sperm within your body is still quite potent, and capable of producing children. Your doctor will likely inform you of this, and should do tests around the eighth week after to let you know the status of your sperm. **End Summary** Topics: vasectomy vasectomy reversal
About the Author:
If you enjoyed this article and want to learn more about vasectomy procedures visit http://costvasectomy.info or simply read other articles about vasectomy and other topics by this author at http://foolishmumbles.com

Broadband Phone: Are You Paying Extra And Getting Less?

There exists an abundance of service providers aggressively competing with one another in an attempt to win your business. Their offering great broadband phone services that you can use with that overpriced broadband Internet connection your already paying for. You can just imagine the plethora of plans their offering at very competitive rates, with features your probably not getting with your existing traditional phone company. In many cases, you can even keep your old phone number when you switch.

If your wondering, what a broadband phone is, you've come to the right place. It's basically a phone that uses your internet connection to talk and listen over. You may have heard of something called "voice over internet protocol", or VoiP for short. It's the technology that converts your voice spoken into a phone into digital bits and bytes that can be understood by computers, and transmitted over the internet. The process, is of course reversed at the other end for the benefit of the person listening to your call.

Saving money is attractive to everyone, and is part of the many reasons that broadband phone services are so popular. **End Summary** Topics: broadband phone broadband broadband internet
About the Author:
Read more great information on broadband phone and broadband phone articles , visit http://knowledgebasepower.com/2006/10/16/broadband-phone-calls-are-easy-to-make/

There are plenty of great reasons to want to learn Spanish. Embarking on an adventure to a Spanish speaking country, falling in love with a Spanish speaking partner, hoping to advance your professional career by becoming bilingual, or just for the excitement of learning something new. Learning a foreign and exotic language like Spanish can have many benefits.

But where to begin, there are so many choices. Classroom study, while great for face to face learning, is not always convenient for the hectic lives we all lead. It requires extra time for traveling to and from classes, while having to arrange your schedule around class times someone else has determined. For the really dedicated and adventurous types, you can immerse yourself into a Spanish environment. You'll certainly learn, but packing up and moving to a different city or country, is just not practical for everyone. There is a better alternative.

The internet provides an excellent opportunity to learn Spanish online. Because of the interactive nature of the internet, learning Spanish online offers many of the best parts of other choices for learning Spanish. **End Summary** Topics: learn spanish online spanish learn spanish
About the Author:
Did you find those tips on learning Spanish useful?
Microwave Ovens Need Love Too

Microwave ovens need to be maintained regularly, or there could be some serious consequences. Microwaves generally seem like simple and reliable appliances, but like anything that ages, things can go wrong with it. Any microwave oven that is getting older than say 15 years, should probably be checked. If you find that food is taking much longer to cook then usual, then perhaps it's time to have a professional service done. They can test for radiation leakage or any other problems that the microwave is experiencing. They can also make a determination as to whether the microwave oven should be replaced. Chances are, that any microwave of that age should just be replaced. They are pretty inexpensive items, and the newer ones are likely to have more features and conveniences to make your cooking experience more enjoyable. Just in case your one of those avid do-it-yourselfers, here's a warning. Do not attempt to repair a microwave oven. This is a job strictly for professionals. Microwave circuits carry 3000 to 5000 and sometimes higher volts of electricity. One of the most common repairs that occur in a microwave is a worn out fuse, that gets zapped by a power surge. **End Summary** Topics: microwave oven microwave kitchen appliances appliances
About the Author:
Read more great information on your kitchen design and kitchen cabinets , visit http://foolishmumbles.com/2006/09/29/microwave-ovens-need-love-too/

Kitchen Cabinet Miraculous Cleaning

So, your kitchen cabinets are a mess, and you dread forking out all that cash for new ones. Well, maybe new ones are not what you need. The first place to start, may be with a thorough cleaning of the ones you have. A good amount of elbow grease may be just what you need to get rid of all that cooking grease and accumulation of muck from over the years. Particularly if all the drawers, hinges and hardware are still in good working order. A simple solution of soapy water and effort may do the trick. Make sure to wipe all the soap off before drying and replacing the cabinets. Removing hardware handles and pulls first, gives you a chance to clean them separately and an opportunity to remove any gunk that may have built up between the hardware and the cabinets themselves.

Maybe you still like the look of your cabinets, but their just a little grungy. If your cabinets are made of solid wood and need a little more cleaning than just soap and water, then there is another approach you can try. **End Summary** Topics: kitchen cabinet kitchen kitchenware kitchen remodelling
About the Author:
Read more great information on your kitchen design and kitchen cabinets , visit http://foolishmumbles.com/2006/09/29/kitchen-cabinet-miraculous-cleaning/

Ceramic Tile Countertops - Beautiful And Fussy

Ceramic tile countertops can remain great looking, if you know a few simple tricks. When brand new, ceramic tile has got to be one of the most beautiful countertop choices you can make. The vast array of choices these days in style and patterns, make it easy to find an appropriate tile for any taste, in any situation. While the tile is great looking, it is also very durable, and almost indestructable. What is not quite so resiliant though, is the grout that fills the gaps between the tiles. It will, over time absorb moisture, and stain.

An Ounce of Prevention

One of the best ways of keeping the grout looking good and dry is to use a grout sealant. Any reputable installer, will be sure to apply a sealant to all the grout they use. If your doing the install job yourself, be sure to use a sealant. This can prevent a lot of problems and save time later. Most home centers will carry several types, but silicon based sealant is the best. If your really the fussy type, apply two coats of sealant. Three coats however would probably just be silly.

Out Damn Stain! **End Summary** Topics: ceramic tile countertops countertops kitchen countertops
About the Author:
Read more great information on your kitchen design and kitchen cabinets , visit http://foolishmumbles.com/2006/09/29/ceramic-tile-countertops-beautiful-and-fussy/

Laminate kitchen countertops should last a lifetime, if you know a few tricks for maintaining and repairing them. Laminate comes in an seemingly infinite number of styles and patterns these days. It also requires practically no maintenance to keep it looking good. But like all indestructible things these days, there comes a time when the inevitable happens, and things need a little TLC.

Wax On Wax Off

One of the great things about having such a variety of patterns that laminates comes in these days is how well they hide the dirt. Assuming you want the dirt hidden. Every once in a while, giving your countertops a little extra cleaning with a soap and a brush will remove a surprising amount of hidden dirt. This is a good exercise for both your countertops and the people who use them. Now here's something you probably never thought of doing for your countertops now that they're squeaky clean. Try a little car wax. Yep you heard me. Car wax. The same way your car enjoys the protection of a little wax coating, so will your countertops. Not to mention a nice shiny finish. **End Summary** Topics: kitchen remodeling kitchen countertops countertops
About the Author:
Read more great information on your kitchen design and kitchen cabinets , visit http://foolishmumbles.com/2006/09/29/kitchen-countertops-can-last-a-lifetime/

Dishwasher Tips For The Buyer

So, you think you need a new dishwasher, but you don't know the why, where or how. Lucky for you we have a few basic pointers as to what to look for in a new dishwasher. So whether you've never owned a dishwasher before or are an old pro at buying dishwashers, there should be a few handy tips in here. Let's just start off by saying, that you've made a great choice in getting a dishwasher at all. The modern models available are very water and energy efficient, plus have the extra benefit of being able to disinfect your plates and cutlery in a way you could never do by hand.

The Many Types Of Dishwashers

Actually, there really aren't that many basic dishwasher types. There are two basic types, and they are portable, and undercounter. The manufacturers will hype a bunch of differences between the two, but there's only one good reason why I would buy a portable. If I was living in a rental accommodation like an apartment, and I wanted to take the dishwasher with me when I left. Otherwise, an undercounter takes less space, and blends in much better with your existing kitchen. **End Summary** Topics: dishwasher dishwashers kitchen appliances
About the Author:
Read more great information on your kitchen design and kitchen cabinets , visit http://foolishmumbles.com/2006/09/29/dishwasher-buying-guide/

Kitchen Cabinets - Painting Adds Years To Their Life

So your kitchen cabinets are the most dreadful sight in the entire neighborhood. Your even embarrassed to have the neighbor kids over, let alone their parents. It's big bucks to have them replaced with new, and that vile cleaning job you tried on them just didn't do the trick. While there's one other thing you can try before breaking the bank to buy new ones. A new coat of good quality paint or varnish may just do the trick. Even replacing the hardware with something more to your liking can make an amazing improvement. That's what we did a few years ago, and it extended the life of our cabinets another four or five years. While we eventually did end up replacing all the cabinets, we were able to put it off until our bank account was a little more up to the challenge. Now, here's a few things to keep in mind if you decide to tackle a kitchen cabinet paint job.

First thing, you will need to do is to remove all the cabinet doors and hardware. **End Summary** Topics: kitchen cabinet kitchen kitchenware kitchen remodelling
About the Author:
Read more great information on your kitchen design and kitchen cabinets , visit http://foolishmumbles.com/2006/09/29/kitchen-cabinet-paint-job/

Seasickness Cures and Strategies

Ever find your self leaning over the low side of a boat offering your previously digested lunch to King Neptune while he slaps your face with a few salty waves? No? You just don't know what your missing. Can't say that I have either, and that's just fine with me. One of the things everyone worries about on their first trip, or when buying their first boat is whether they will get seasick. Not to worry. While I've never had to deal with it myself, I have had sailing friends who deal with it every time they go out on their boats. Not that they would ever let it stop them from enjoying their favorite pastime. Here are a few suggested strategies and cures to put your mind at rest if you really want to go boating, but don't have a cast iron stomach.

Prolong the Inevitable

If you know your prone to seasickness, keep these tricks in mind. Stay on deck as much as possible, and keep an eye on the horizon. Going down below to rest if your feeling queasy is a sure way to push you over the edge. Try not to sit too much. **End Summary** Topics: boats boating sail boat sailboats seasick seasickness
About the Author:
Read more great information on your boat and sail boat , or visit http://foolishmumbles.com/2006/09/27/seasickness-cures-and-stragies/

Boat Provisioning - The Floating Grocery Store

How do you get to the grocery store when your a thousand miles from shore, and a thousand and two miles from the nearest grocery store? The short answer is you don't. The longer answer will be presented here, and it begins with a trip down below to see what you've got stashed in the galley of your boat. Provisioning for a extended boating trip is no small task. If you forget something, there's no quick run to the convenience store to pick up a couple of things. Out in the middle of the ocean, if you can't catch it, or find it somewhere in the galley, your not going to eat it. Here's a few quick ideas to get you started thinking about boat provisioning.

To start a list of what kind of provisions you think you'll need, draw up a menu with a weeks worth of meals your boating crew would enjoy. Then figure out what would be required to make each meal. This list should be a good base to build from when you actually start buying items for the boat trip.

Be sure to have some very simple to prepare meals. **End Summary** Topics: boats boating sail boat sailboats boat provisioning provisions
About the Author:
Read more great information on your boat and sail boat , or visit http://foolishmumbles.com/2006/09/27/boat-provisioning-the-floating-grocery-store/

Boating Clean and Swabbing Decks

Whether your sitting at the dock or floating in your favorite anchorage, there may actually come a time when your bored with reading the latest great paperback while sipping those boat drinks down. What to do then? Well, your on a boat, and as all boat owners know, there's always plenty to do. Starting with keeping the boat clean, here's a few tips, tricks, and handy nautical hints for keeping your SS ---insert boat name--- sparkling like new.

One very natural cleanser, that dose a multitude of boat cleaning jobs is baking-soda. A solution of baking-soda can be used onfiberglass, chrome, counter tops and sinks. It's great for cleaning out the fridge or cooler, and also does a wonder on stoves, pans and cutting boards.

Ever left an old pair of pliers on the boat deck all winter under the tarp? I did. Leaves a nice little rust stain on the fiberglass deck for you to clean in the spring. Fantastik, Bon Ami, or Soft Scrub will get rid of it. Or, I've even heard that cream of tartar mixed with some cola should do the trick. Haven't tried that one yet. **End Summary** Topics: boats boating sail boat sailboats
About the Author:
Read more great information on your boat and sail boat , or visit http://foolishmumbles.com/category/boating/
