How to Encourage Your Little Princess to Bed

Often times, at the end of a very long day, getting your baby girl to bed can be rather difficult - and sometimes, it can even seem like a chore that burns up your last nerve when you're already tired out from all of your other daily obligations. When kids are little, their life feels like a never-ending adventure with such an incredible variety of new experiences. They have so many new feelings, and they see so many new things. Once in a while she'll want to stay up and not go to bed, as she's just too excited about everything she's seen that day, and everything she's imagining for tomorrow.

Our motherly instincts should tell us that we need to create an incentive of some kind to encourage her to look forward to bedtime, just as she is looking forward to playing with her favorite doll and her other thrilling baby accessories. You need to find a way of making her really look forward to going to bed - it will make your job a whole lot easier when it comes to the end of the tiring day. **End Summary** Topics: nursery decoration nursery bedding baby accessories
About the Author:
Bethany Bien absolutely loves being a mom; decorating nurseries and offering valuable advice on baby nursery decoration .
How to Organize Your Baby's Room

With your new born baby come a lot of accessories! If you thought that your home was filled with clutter before your new addition arrived, then you are really in for a treat. If you already have other, more grown-up children, you can always turn to them to fix the mess in their own rooms, but with your latest, reliant arrival you had better get organized.

If your baby's nursery is not a very large room you have to be focused on its design and storage capabilities. You will need plenty of storage baskets, one of those essential baby accessories. With a little bit of planning you can put the baskets in the most appropriate places and have individual baskets relative to your daily chores and routines.

Understand that you are going to need a variety of nursery storage baskets. Some of them will need liners and others will not, obviously depending on what you're going to put in there. If you size up your nursery and other storage areas you can come up with a list of the baskets that you need. You should know that they come in different shapes and sizes and can fit almost anywhere. **End Summary** Topics: nursery decoration nursery bedding baby accessories
About the Author:
Bethany Bien really loves being a mother, decorating nurseries and sharing advice and ideas on baby nursery decoration with mom's everywhere.
Make Telling Time Fun for your Kids

Discovering how to tell the time can be a rather difficult endeavour for most children. However, it's one of the most important skills that they'll ever have to learn, as just about everything we do as people relates to the time of day in some way. It's not too much of a leap to say that we just can't get by in life unless we understand this task early on! As a mother, this lesson could easily become one more worry, or we could just as easily make it into an inspiring adventure of some sort for all of our kids, and maybe even have a bit of fun with it ourselves as well.

There are many products designed specifically for children and you can buy some very visually stimulating clocks to hang on the wall of a room. These baby accessories are designed with the young child in mind, to encourage interaction and interest as they learn to tell the time. Position the clock in a easy to see spot amidst the nursery decoration, and draw attention to it regularly. **End Summary** Topics: nursery decoration nursery bedding baby accessories
About the Author:
Bethany Bien loves being a mom; decorating nurseries and offering other moms advice and ideas on baby nursery decoration .
How to Set Up The Nursery Decoration for Your Bundle Of Joy!

Awaiting the appearance of your newborn baby can be one of the most thrilling times you'll ever experience. A wealth of incredible moments are around the corner as you wait for that miraculous day to arrive. There are an almost overwhelming number of things to do in preparation for the day, and one of the most difficult choices is the decor of your baby's nursery. This room is going to influence your babies development enormously during the first 6 to 8 months, and it really should be a haven of comfort, rest and safety.

When you are looking for nursery decoration ideas please try and be focused. We don't want to make this process too hard on ourselves by being overly creative and complicated. Keep in mind that the area really should be relaxing, peaceful and comfortable, and not a variety of different concepts and themes. These days you can buy sets of matching baby nursery decorations and not have to go through a seemingly unending process of selection.

If you don't yet know your baby's sex, then you may want to make your baby's room decor fairly neutral. **End Summary** Topics: nursery decoration nursery bedding baby accessories
About the Author:
Bethany Bien really loves being a mother, decorating nurseries and sharing advice and ideas on baby nursery decoration with mom's everywhere.
How to Create a Safe and Secure Environment for Your Baby

While designing your baby nursery decor is an enjoyable and thrilling time, it's also the perfect time to learn about key safety issues relating to newborns. As you set up your nursery decorations, always ensure that each item you place in the room is completely child proof. By learning about infant hazards, you'll be able to establish a truly safe and functional area for your baby.

The crib is the primary piece in any baby nursery decoration scheme. Since some older cribs might not meet new safety standards, it's best to buy a new one rather than use a family heirloom. Cribs that convert into beds and round cribs are a good and safe investment. If you are reusing a fairly new crib, make sure that all the screws, nuts and bolts are in place and tight secured. Also ensure that the mattress and bumper guards correctly fit with the crib and are still very sturdy. If the mattress or bumper guards appear worn, it's best to buy new ones so your baby is well supported.

A common baby nursery decoration for over the crib is a mobile. **End Summary** Topics: nursery decoration baby nursery decoration baby nursery decor
About the Author:
Bethany Bien really loves being a mother, decorating nurseries and sharing advice and ideas on baby nursery decoration with mom's everywhere.
Key Accents for Nursery Decoration Components

Baby nursery decor that can grow with your child is the best approach to take when planning your nursery decoration scheme. Once the newborn arrives, you'll have little time to change outdated decor, so it's best to use timeless classics to create a fun and exciting environment for your little one. Here are a few baby nursery decoration classics that will be enjoyed by your baby for years to come.

When it comes to choosing room themes, think of the timeless classics that you grew up with, such as Winnie the Pooh, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Noah's Ark, Paddington Bear, Dr. Seuss and Curious George, and use them as inspiration for your baby nursery decor. You can also go with timeless styles, like Victorian, country, or whimsical. Because these themes are enjoyable and appropriate for your child up to the first year of two of school, you won't have any need of reworking the color scheme for some time. A room theme can also help you establish a color scheme and plan out accessories and accents for additional nursery decoration components. **End Summary** Topics: nursery decoration baby nursery decoration baby nursery decor
About the Author:
Bethany Bien really loves being a mother, decorating nurseries and sharing advice and ideas on baby nursery decoration with mom's everywhere.
How to Let Your Creativity Shine when Designing a Nursery

The act of selecting baby nursery decorations is a thrilling part of having a newborn baby. Even though there are so many different decisions to deal with and so many ideas to think about, the endeavour is thoroughly entertaining because you're creating a room specifically for the newest member of your family. To assist you, there are some helpful nursery decoration ideas to keep in mind when creating a fun and welcoming environment for your baby.

Let's start first with color scheme, probably the major decision in creating your baby nursery decor. Whether or not you know the gender of the baby, there are other questions to ask yourself before choosing colors. For instance, will the baby be sharing a room with another sibling? Will the color scheme be appropriate as the child grows or do you plan to change it frequently? In making color choices, rely on the primary colors and choose tints and shades of red, yellow and blue. Secondary colors of green, violet and orange, blended neutral tones and pastels also work well to stimulate a newborn.

In addition to the color scheme, you can also choose to do a nursery theme as a baby nursery decoration. **End Summary** Topics: nursery decoration baby nursery decoration baby nursery decor
About the Author:
Bethany Bien absolutely loves being a mom; decorating nurseries and offering valuable advice on baby nursery decorations .
"A Budget-Friendly Approach to Nursery Decoration"

Do you feel like all the magazine pictures you find show nurseries of movie stars and apparent millionaires? Do you ever find yourself wondering how you might afford the adorable room you know your little one deserves? There are affordable options when it comes to baby nursery decoration, and it can still look cute!

As you know, babies grow super fast (ever hear people say "Oh my gosh, your baby is getting so big!"). As a result, they are going to outgrow stuff pretty quick. So, don't feel the pressure to spend 6 months worth of pay for your nursery decor. Think hand-me-downs. Friends, neighbors or relatives with children a few months older than yours are perfect candidates to ask for gently used baby nursery decorations. They can still have great and modern designs and chances are parents are looking for something to do with the stuff they don't use anymore. You might also ask to borrow an item, such as a crib, from a parent who has a child a few years older. **End Summary** Topics: baby decoration nursery accessories baby nursery decor nursery nursery boys
About the Author:
Bethany Bien is a mom who loves helping other moms create safe, comfortable and affordable nurseries for their new babies. What if I want Baby close by while I do the dishes but I don't want to lug the car seat in and out of the house? Do I have an organic option?

With the purchase of a Moses Basket, all these problems are resolved. While baby is still sleeping in the basket, it is the perfect portability solution. It can be situated on the floor in any room or right on the middle of the bed next to Mom as she sleeps. Since it is so light and easy to travel with, the basket makes hotel stays easier and gives baby a constant immediate surrounding and comfort, in spite of the location change. The investment is not purely for the short time span a child would need the basket to sleep in. **End Summary** Topics: moses basket moses baskets baby moses basket baby moses baskets moses baby moses bassinets
About the Author:
Bethany Bien loves being a mom; decorating nurseries and offering moms advice and ideas on baby nursery decoration.
"How to Pick The Best Baby Bedding Sets For Your Baby"

As I started thinking about the millions of things to prepare for with the arrival of (my first!) baby, one that stood out was this: "What baby crib bedding sets do I choose? How do I know which are the best?" Since my baby was going to (I hoped!) spend a lot of time in their crib, the bedding for it needed to be right. First and foremost, it had to be safe. I had to be sure that their crib would be a holy grail of safety and the bedding set would be integral to that. Here's a couple other things I learned:

Older children and even adults may enjoy large, fluffy comforters, pillows, stuffed animals and the like all around them as they sleep. For a baby, this is impractical and unsafe. The mattress should be firm and the sheets tight to keep your baby from having too much fabric to put in their mouths. The bedding has to be soft, (your baby's skin is so easily irritated sometimes) but also durable if you're lucky enough to have them sleeping up to 18 hours a day. **End Summary** Topics: baby crib bedding sets boy crib bedding sets boy crib sets
About the Author:
Bethany Bien is a mom who loves creating safe, comfortable and beautiful spaces for mother and baby alike.
