I remember when I was about 13 my mom worked for rich people and they really liked me a lot. So one day mom came home from work with a big box and she said this is yours. This is a gift from Mr. and Misses so and so. I was like what is this big box, when I looked in the, it was a drum set I was so happy, I played those drums so much. I couldn't wait to tell my friends and I called Mr. and Misses so and so and thank them so much. That's what a gift for teens is so supposed to do, make you feel so happy and special. I'm 42 and I still remember that moment. So when you want to buy a gift for a teenager let it be a special gift that they will never forget. Teens have specific likes and dislikes, and knowing what to buy when shopping online for birthday and holiday gifts isn't always easy. **End Summary** Topics: unusual fun gifts young people kids birthdays parties fun family children boyfriend girlfriend
About the Author:
Thanks for reading my articles and for more of my

Growing Raspberry Bushes

Pruning raspberry plants does more than just keep your plants under control.
To insure that light and air can get inside the plants and to facilitate
pruning, keep your raspberry plants controlled in a row. To force your ever
bearing raspberries to produce only one crop in the fall, prune back the
entire raspberry bush in early spring. Make sure you don't let them grow no
more then 12 to 18inches. Knowing what to look for when buying raspberry
bushes for your garden is very important to their success. New Heritage
Raspberry plants produce huge berries without constant maintenance.

Raspberry plants are a newly developed berry bush, bred and they produce huge, delicious berries. Also they have long season of fruiting. You'll enjoy
these delicious berries from June until winter much longer than most berry
bushes, also they are better disease and drought resistance. Flavorful
raspberries of the highest quality can be grown right in your own backyard.
Raspberry bushes running riot are not only a nuisance, the taste and amount
of the fruits will decline. Two years are required to establish a raspberry
plant, but once established the planting can remain productive for several
years if given good care. **End Summary** Topics: raspberry plants plants fruits vegetable family home health eating desserts
About the Author:
Check out more tips at http://www.Teegoes.org

Tasmanian Organic Gardening

Majestic mountains, huge wilderness areas protected in national parks, a wild coastline open to the storms of the southern oceans. there really is no place in this world, where one can escape the destruction of our natural environment all together.

Tasmania appears to have a huge potential for organic agriculture. The state has a higher proportion of rural dwellers than other Australian states, it has a long tradition of successful agricultural pursuits dating from the earliest European settlement, it is the only state with its own organic certifier, and geographically it is well placed to capitalize on its clean and green image.

Tasmania has four distinct seasons. Summer is warm with sunny days and mild evenings. The weather is more stable between the months of February and April, from mid summer to late autumn. Autumn provides the classical transition to winter with cool to frosty nights and clear cool days with deciduous trees displaying autumn colors and loosing leaves. Winter is characterized by sudden storms, shorter day light hours and snow on the higher peaks ( Mt Ossa 1617m / 5300 ft the highest ). **End Summary** Topics: tasmania gardening vegetable fruits planting organic health home family
About the Author:
Be sure to sign in the guess book at http://www.Teegoes.org

Growing Blueberries In The Home Garden.

Blueberry fruit is also low in calories and sodium, contains no cholesterol, and is a source of fiber. A major constituent of the fiber is pectin, known for its ability to lower blood cholesterol. In studies blueberry contain measurable quantities of allergic acid, which has inhibiting effects on chemically induced cancer in laboratory studies blueberry juice also contains a compound that prevents bacteria from anchoring themselves to the bladder, thereby helping to prevent urinary tract infections. Blueberries could make a good fruit crop for home gardens since they require small space. At present, blueberry plants are not common in home plantings because the plants require highly acidic soil conditions for best results. The grower of blueberries must, there fore, make extra effort to acidify the soil before plant establishment. Then, the acidity level must be maintained over the life of the planting. Due to the special concerns associated with the rather demanding soil requirements of growing the crop, the soil must be amended with organic matter and the pH must be corrected before proceeding to establish the planting. Once in production, it is necessary to protect the fruit from loss to birds. **End Summary** Topics: growing blueberries gardening planting healthy family kids fun desserts fruits.
About the Author:
For more information on gardening go to www.Teegoes.org

Snickerdoodle Cookies

What are snicker doodle cookies they are an old fashioned cookie that have a

sugar cinnamon coating and a sweet and buttery flavor. These classic cookies

are topped with cinnamon sugar and are so good we promise you won't be able

to eat just one. A great score with kids and adults, they are so fast to put

together too! I actually got it from an old recipe that I found in an old

clipped out of a newspaper. They store great, and I didn't have any of the

problems many others did! I never need to put these in the refrigerator first

either. Others prefer to flatten them gently with the palm of the hand,

allowing the cookie to create its own crackled pattern as it bakes. The cream

of tartar has a way of combining with the cinnamon to create the gentle bite

of spice that the cookie is famous for. But, what is cream of tartar? Cream

of tartar is an acidic powder extracted during wine making, stabilizes egg

whites and increases their heat tolerance. These cookies are so delicious,

and they are the best these wonderful cinnamon-sugar cookies became very

popular with my friends. **End Summary** Topics: cookies cookies desserts snacks kids family gifts friends birthdays holidays parties.
About the Author:
Be sure to check in the guess book at http://www.Teegoes.com

Hay Bale Gardening

Hay bale gardening technique is a low-cost and convenient way of growing flowers and vegetables. Growing vegetables in a hay bale garden is similar to the technique used to grow vegetables in a raised bed garden. If you are just getting your bales, give the bales a thorough soaking, and let them begin to break down before you plant your vegetables. Hay or straw bale gardening is another great way have your garden if you have limited space, terrible soil, a bad back or those who are confined to a wheel chair! So much time is saved by not having to weed or hoe or even water as often as well. This project was first researched by a Dr at the University of Minnesota Extension says, "Hay bales provide a well-aerated, disease free growing medium that is perfect for growing vegetables. **End Summary** Topics: hay bale gardening planting gardening vegetables fruits organic family healthy food hobbies
About the Author:
Be sure to check in the guess book at http://www.Teegoes.org

Gardening Caring For Roses

Have you always wanted to grow a perfect blue rose, along with green, black, and purple ones? As you may be aware, many of these exotic rose colors result from a variance in nutrients found in the soil. In fact if anything, it may well result in reducing it. Fresh gardening ideas for climbing roses, scented rose varieties, gardening with trouble free rose bushes in your garden, how to incorporate low-growing roses in your landscape and several beautiful pictures of gardens to inspire you to garden with beautiful roses. The species form a group of erect shrubs, and climbing or trailing plants, with stems that are often armed with sharp thorns. Natives, cultivars and hybrids are all widely grown for their beauty and fragrance. Unfortunately, many areas do not have a climate that will enable grafted roses to grow and thrive. Rose gardening has its own special mystique. Gardeners all over the world are smitten by the allure of roses, but many people think of roses as elegant, but demanding prima donnas. Roses come many colors and forms and in range of growth habits, sizes and shapes. Fortunately today, many newer roses are being bred for hardiness and good disease-resistance. **End Summary** Topics: rose gardeing roses planting flowers gardening at home organic dirt flower design
About the Author:
Be sure to sign in the guessbook at http://www.Teegoes.org

These cookies are a very good and a change from the normal peanut butter or

oatmeal cookies. I bake some and told my friends they are different so they

tried them and loved it. The batch I made was gone before I knew it. What I

like about these cookies is they can be made healthy. So if you want to go

the healthy way I have a great recipe for you but you can cook them the

regular way also. These cookies are great for kids, parties, gifts or just a

get together with your friends or family. If you like oatmeal chocolate chip

cookies, you'll love these oatmeal cookies. They're soft and chewy and sure

to become one of your favorite oatmeal recipes. The cookies stayed moist,

slightly chewy and fresh tasting for several days when stored in an airtight

container, so these are a great option if you want to bake a batch over the

weekend and keep it around during the week. Don't over-bake cool and store in

an airtight container. Do not cook to long you want them to be slightly

puffed and a very light golden color on the bottom. **End Summary** Topics: Peanut butter cookies cookies snacks kids family dessert parties gifts friends birthdays hoiliday gifts
About the Author:
Be sure to sign in the guessbook at http://www.Teegoes.com

Make Your Own Compost

If you aren't already making compost at home, you need to get started today! The soil in your yard and garden will thank you, your plants will thank you, and so will the environment. Compost is a finely divided, loose material consisting of decomposed organic matter.Although many people associate compost production with small garden compost piles that are tended with a shovel, most compost is produced in large municipal, industrial, or agricultural facilities using mechanized equipment.

Nature has been producing compost for millions of years as part of the cycle of life and death on Earth. Rain kept the piles wet and aided the decomposition process, producing a rich compost. The Greeks and Romans knew the value of compost to boost crop production and even used the warmth of decomposing compost to produce summer vegetables in winter. Today, most compost is processed in large facilities designed to handle a specific type of raw material. Agricultural compost is usually produced and used on the same farm that generated the raw materials. **End Summary** Topics: how to compost vegetables fruits family life healthy living compost bins
About the Author:
Be sure to sign in the guessbook at http://www.Teegoes.org

Plant a Strawberry Pot

Generally, when planting a strawberry pot, you first add soil to the main

section, or middle of the pot. There are many styles of strawberry pots and,

thankfully, some wonderful new lightweight materials. Some traditional terra

cotta pots have a lip under each potting hole, which helps greatly in keeping

the soil in the pot, as the plants become established. However the lip also

makes planting more difficult. It's a nice look, but it's not necessary and

any strawberry pot that strikes your fancy will work just fine. Strawberry

pots can be messy to fill, since there are so many openings on the sides. It

also makes it easier to turn the pot around and you need to do less bending.

For those gardeners with little space but a hankering for homegrown

strawberries, a strawberry pot is the perfect solution. If you're unsure

about what a strawberry pot is, they are those urn-shaped pots with a series

of small pockets running along the sides. They are generally terracotta,

though I've seen them made of glazed pottery as well. **End Summary** Topics: strawberry pot planting gardeing planning fruits vegetables family hobbies healthy eating.
About the Author:
Be sure to sign in the guessbook at http://www.Teegoes.com

Planting Garlic

When you first start growing garlic it is worth buying proper seed garlic from a seed merchant or garden center, so that you know it is suitable for your climate and planting time. Growing garlic is an easy, cheap and after one season you will never have to buy garlic again. Each clove will produce one plant with a single bulb - which may in turn contain up to twenty cloves growing garlic is therefore self-sustaining. You can start growing garlic simply by taking the biggest, healthiest looking cloves from an ordinary bulb of garlic and planting them. Growing garlic from randomly selected cloves is a lottery. To ensure large bulbs, cut back any flower stalks that develop, and spray young plants with compost tea once or twice during the spring. You can plant garlic in spring as well as in fall, but expect fewer and smaller bulbs. Because garlic takes so long to mature, plant it in a spot where you won't accidentally disturb the dormant bulbs.
Container Organic Gardening

Container organic gardening advice, ideas, design and, pictures.
Whether you are getting up the nerve to try growing a few petunias, or are have a full fledged container garden vegetable farm, you'll find useful information here. What you need to know to get started and how making beautiful container gardens can be quick and easy of choice for your garden. Five flowering plants for sun even a laundry basket can make a great container garden. This approach dovetails nicely with my own philosophy, in a nutshell in my gardening, the aim is not perfection, it's about gardening like you live and enjoying the process. Another important tenet is to keep it guilt free. I want my container gardening to be a guilt-free zone. I will make mistakes, I'll even make some really ugly gardens, which I'll either fix or kill, but either way, it's just a waste of time and energy to feel guilty about it. My one request is that someone reminds me of this philosophy in the middle of the summer, when I suddenly revert back to being a type A, container gardener.

Container organic gardening is one of the most versatile and creative forms of garden design. **End Summary** Topics: gardeing in small area apartment gardening flowers plants vegetables fruits organic
About the Author:
www.Teegoes.org

Here's all you need to know about starting your first home vegetable garden. Regardless of where one lives, growing conditions are bound to be different from the conditions described in most Gardening books. To plan a successful Garden, ask some questions. Which vegetables grow well in this area? What soil types are common? Are there unique conditions in the Garden to consider, for example, high winds, compacted soils, poor drainage and wet spots? Finally, what are the first and last frost dates and the growing season? Later as skills develop add more difficult Crops such as small fruits and perennial vegetables, and add more area to the Garden's size. When selecting plants of a first garden, keep in mind several suggestions. So before I even get started the garden is already divided into four equal quadrants that are easy to identify and keep separated. When planning the layout of the vegetable beds there are four main considerations that I keep in mind to guide my planting and growing strategy. If you plant a particular crop or family of related crops in one raised bed the previous year, it goes in a different area or garden bed the next time around. **End Summary** Topics: planting gardening vegetable fruits flowers seeds organic health
About the Author:
www.Teegoes.org

Certainly pumpkins, squash, and sweet corn are not going to be items grown inside the average home! But, many leafy crops, root crops, tomatoes, and other vegetables can be grown indoors during the cold months of the year. The rules are a little different when growing vegetables indoors. The fertilization needs are also a bit different when gardening crop indoors. Nevertheless, there are some good vegetables that can be grown inside, and it is an activity that gardeners should explore.
