Mozambique island

One of the best holiday destinations in Africa, Mozambique is a country in southeastern Africa bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, Tanzania to the north, Malawi and Zambia to the northwest, Zimbabwe to the west and Swaziland and South Africa to the southwest. The stunning beaches and beautiful offshore islands are definitely a must-see!
The tropical climate, consisting of 2 seasons, make Mozambique a tourist-friendly destination year-round. Some activities that are present include snorkelling around areas such as Bazaruto Archipelago, taking safari trips through the Gorgonsa National Park, wandering along the streets of Ilha de Mocambique, lazing under the palms of the nearly anywhere along the 2500km coastline, dancing to the country’s world-renowned marrabenta, fado, samba, bossa nova, maxixe (with origins from Maxixe), and kizomba music.
The music in Mozambique is definitely one of the more culturally rich experiences on offer, and can serve many purposes, be it religious expression or even traditional ceremonies. Most of the instruments are handmade, and include drums made of wood and animal skin(the Lupembe) and the Marimba which is related to the Xylophone. **End Summary** Topics: Mozambique holidays Mozambique packages
About the Author:
Marc writes about Holiday Packages to Mozambique , as well as various other Holiday packages from South Africa

Thailand island

With a tropical climate, stunning beaches, and a unique and diverse culture, Thailand is a must-see for all tourists, yound and old alike! It is often referred to as “the golden land” because of its tourism and export/import industry.
The cool season in Thailand is around November-February, and with its low humidity, clear sky and cool temperature, is the best season to visit. The term “cool” is relative though, and average in the high 20s and low 30s. This time of year is the busiest, as it is peak tourist season, so expect the popular spots to be packed.
The capital of Thailand is Bangkok, which is in complete contrast with the quiet seaside villages that come to mind when Thailand is mentioned. It is a sort of metropolis, complete with screaming traffic, huge shopping centres and the sensibilities of most first-world countries mixed with a devout approach to Buddhism. Chiang Mai, Thaland’s very own Bohemia, is where the Thai culture is showcased and taught to all who wish to learn. Mae Hong Song is where you will find mountain ranges ideal for hiking, with stupa-studded-peaks and remnants of post stone-age culture. **End Summary** Topics: thailand package holiday thailand holiday packages
About the Author:
Marc writes about Holiday Packages to Thailand , as well as various other Holiday packages from South Africa

Mauritius Island

Mauritius is known as one of the ultimate holiday destinations on earth, and is definitely deserving of the title! Snow white beach sand, crystal clear water, and an evening sunset that’s sure to take your breath away make for a getaway that’s going to be remembered.
The island nation of Mauritius lies about 900 kilometres east of Madagascar and boast a tropical climate which promotes year-round tourism. The tourism trade forms the majority of the islands income, with most of the islands beaches being claimed by resorts. The beaches are the main attraction of the island, but by no means are they the only highlight, with the centre of the island being home to luscious flora, all of which grow around the islands long-dormant volcano. **End Summary** Topics: mauritius holiday packages mauritius package holidays
About the Author:
Marc writes about Mauritius Holiday Packages , as well as various other Package Holidays from around the world that South African’s can take.

Thailand package holidays

It used to be that Mauritius was the most popular tourist destination for South Africans, and Mauritius was far ahead of any competitor region. However that all seems to be changing. Over the past few years, more and more South Africans are choosing to travel to Thailand instead. But just what is the appeal of this small South East Asian country.

There are a few reasons why South African’s consider going to Thailand. The flight time is a little longer than most would fly when flying to Mauritius and the flight is almost always more expensive. However once you are there, prices are substantially cheaper. This is due to two reasons. One, the country as a whole is still quite undeveloped and so prices are quite low in comparison to other more tourist-developed countries. Second, the prices are in Thai Baht (the local currency) which has a favourable exchange rate with the South African Rand. In Mauritius, most places will charge tourists in US Dollars, making it quite expensive once you are there. The cheapness of Thailand was one of the major first aspects of it that drew tourists there. **End Summary** Topics: Thailand package holidays
About the Author:
Marc writes about Thailand holiday packages on his site, as well as holiday packages to many other destinations around Africa and the world.

Wantitall vouchers and discounts

South Africa is still lagging quite substantially behind many countries, as regards their development, use and sophistication of ecommerce. The main reason provided for this is the unreliable Postal service, expensive internet bandwidth cost and the slow nature of the actual bandwidth available. However, things are changing, and are changing fast.
Just a few years ago the only ecommerce websites that were operating in South Africa, and were actually making sales, were those selling flowers (online florists) and the online budget airlines, like kulula.com. However now a full range of ecommerce sites are available, and sell a broad range of retail goods, from electronics, to clothes, to food items and books. One of the most well known online shopping sites in South Africa, is called Wantitall.co.za. The way that they operate is that they don’t actually carry any stock. They have formed a partnership with the world’s largest online shopping site, Amazon.com, and offer all the same products that one could find on there, in South Africa. So basically, when you are ordering from Wantitall, you are actually ordering from Amazon. **End Summary** Topics: Wantitall.co.za discounts Wantitall vouchers
About the Author:
Marc writes about Wantitall Discount codes as well as all other Discount codes he can find in South Africa

Netflorist

Netflorist.co.za is the largest online florist within South Africa. They were actually one of the original and first ecommerce websites to launch in South Africa, back in 1999. When they first started, they had no real stock and no true ecommerce system, but it took off very quickly. South African’s simply loved the idea of being able to order flowers online and have them delivered, without all the hassle of having to go into a store. Netflorist attribute some of this fast success to the fact that people were already used to ordering flowers over the phone, and so were comfortable ordering without seeing and holding the product already.
The great thing was that Netflorist were able to offer a massive range of flowers and some great specials, as they had much lower overheads than the main brick and morter florists. Since then, Netflorist have actually built their own warehouses to store flowers in and have their own fleet of delivery trucks. This helps to ensure that all the products they sell are of a great quality and are delivered on time. **End Summary** Topics: netflorist discounts netflorist vouchers netflorist coupon
About the Author:
Marc writes about Netflorist discounts as well as other discount codes and vouchers in South Africa

Bakoven Accommodation

Bakoven is a small suburb in Cape Town, Western Cape. It is situated right next to the much more famous and well-known area of Camps Bay, and is often called Camps Bay’s little sister. Although it may not be as well-known as Camps Bay, this doesn’t make Bakoven any less beautiful. Location-wise it is ideal in that it enjoys views of the Atlantic Ocean, Table Mountain, and the Twelve Apostles. Most people get confused as to its exact location. Bakoven is basically the area just above and just below Victoria Road.
The homes at the top are built on the mountain-side and have magnificent views of the ocean, with the backyard being Table Mountain. The homes at the bottom are typically right on the beach with either direct beach access, or having to cross a small road to get to the beach. The Bakoven Beach is actually quite a private beach, as most people go to the main Camps Bay beach. The Bakoven Beach is protected from the wind by big rocks on either side and the water is calmer than at the main beaches. **End Summary** Topics: bakoven accommodation
About the Author:
Marc writes about Bakoven Accommodation as well as various other South Africa Accommodation establishments and areas.

America Guide

America is a truly massive country, not only in its political, military and economic worldwide clout, but also in its physical size. It consists of 50 States and just over 300 million people. It is also one of the most multicultural and ethnically diverse nations, with many immigrants moving to the country from hundreds of different countries.
In terms of climate, there really is no true average as, owing to the size of America, it experiences almost the full range. For example, Hawaii has a warm to hot climate, whereby Alaska is mostly below freezing. In cities like New York, summers are quite warm and in winter it will snow.

Owing to its sheer size and diversity, it is not possible to mention all the places to visit in America, but these are just a few of the highlights.
A visit to New York is a must. It is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world and skyscrapers abound, making you feel really small. Catch a yellow cab and cruise around the streets. Go to the Empire State Building, walk through Central Park and take a cruise around the Statue of Liberty. **End Summary** Topics: flights to america
About the Author:
Marc writes about Cheap flights to America as well as compares many other flights on Virgin Atlantic

The Nokia N97 Mini Review

The Nokia N97 was a very popular smartphone, and so Nokia decided to re-invent it, however they did so with a smaller and lighter body and called it the Nokia N97 mini.
The Nokia N97 mini looks very similar to its big brother, but measures just 113 mm x 52.5 mm x 14.2 mm and weighs only 138 grams. The front of the phone consists of the large 3.2 inch touch screen, which has crystal clear clarity. Nokia have also included an accelerometer built-in which means that the screen will automatically rotate as you turn the phone from a vertical to a horizontal position. Beneath the screen are two touch-sensitive screens for answering and ending a call. Even though the N97 mini has been trimmed down it still has a full qwerty keyboard, which can be accessed by sliding the screen to the side.

There is a 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. The advanced camera feature of geotagging is included, which stores the exact location that the picture was taken with the picture to ensure that you always know where you were when you were snapping away. **End Summary** Topics: nokia n97 mini review
About the Author:
Marc writes about the Nokia N97 Mini on his site, and tries to give the best Nokia N97 Mini deals as well

Paris Guide and flights to Paris

Paris, typically called the City of Love, is a beautiful city that is definitely worth a visit.
Like most successful ‘cities of old’ it was built around a river, in this case, the Seine. Paris is the most populated city and is the capital of France.
There are some great attractions that are definitely worth a visit when touring Paris. First on the list would of course be the Eiffel Tower. This has become synonymous with Paris and is one of its most recognised landmarks. Try and go either early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the crowds and take the elevator all the way to the top level. The views are truly magnificent and give you a good idea of the layout of Paris. Next you should go to the Arc de Triomphe, which is a war memorial. Try and get a ticket to go onto the roof of the Arc, as once again the views are brilliant. From the Arc de Triomphe take a stroll along the Champs-Elysees. This is a long promenade that is one of the main tourist attractions of Paris as well as a major shopping area. **End Summary** Topics: flights to paris
About the Author:
Marc writes about Cheap flights to Paris as well as compares many other Europe flights such as flights to France

Italy Guide and flights to Italy

Italy is world famous for its cultural heritage and amazing food. However it is such a diverse country that is deserves a lot longer time than we typically have. This is why it is often much better to visit Italy on a few different occasions to experience the many difference places and people that it has to offer.
If you are going to attempt to see as much as possible of the country in one trip this is what we would recommend.

Start off in Rome, which is the capital of Italy. It is a truly magical city with historical buildings and statues surrounding you almost everywhere you go. Some highlights include the Coliseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and of course Vatican City. The Roman Forum is also definitely worth a visit.
From here you could head through to Sorrento. This is a small town but will give you insight into the ‘old’ Italy and let you taste some great Italian seafood and a famous Italian drink called Lemoenchello. One could then go up to Florence which is famous for its art and buildings. After Florence, you should drive over to Pisa. **End Summary** Topics: flights to italy
About the Author:
Marc writes about Cheap flights to Italy as well as compares many other Europe flights such as flights to Rome

Mozambique Guide and flights to Mozambique

Mozambique is a truly undiscovered gem, that is slowly becoming a must see for tourists. During decades of civil war the country was plummeted into poverty and adversity and tourism practically ground to a halt. Since continued peace from 1992, more and more people have been visiting the country.

Mozambique has become known as a beach paradise with a long coastline of flawless beaches with warm water. The beaches are clean and safe and very popular, depending on where you go. Another aspect Mozambique is becoming well known for is for diving. Due to the warm clear water and coral reefs more and more divers are flocking there. Many actually do their diving certification while on a trip to Mozambique which is both fun and affordable. This highlights another reason for Mozambique becoming more popular, that is, that it’s quite affordable in comparison to many other ‘more established’ tourist places.
When visiting Mozambique try to make the effort to go inland as this will open your eyes to other aspects of the country, such as its extreme poverty and hardship which is good to know to form a well balanced opinion of a place. **End Summary** Topics: flights to mozambique
About the Author:
Marc writes about Cheap Mozambique Flights as well as compares many other Africa flights within South Africa.

Johannesburg is the economic power house of not only South Africa, but Africa itself. The city was started and grew exponentially as a result of the Gold rush, with Johannesburg being built atop massive gold reserves. This gave the city its nickname of Egoli, or ‘Place of Gold’.

Most people know Joburg as the business centre of South Africa, but as a tourist there are quite a few things to do. The Johannesburg Zoo is built on 54 acres and is definitely worth a visit to see the various animals they have. The Melville Koppies, which was declared a nature reserve has excellent hikes and walks. If you enjoy being outdoors then it is worth visiting Emmarentia Dam where you can have a picnic, enjoy some sailing and even hire canoes. The Lion Park is another fantastic place to go. You can learn about how lion cubs are raised, as well as even get into the enclosure to ‘play’ with the smaller cubs.
If you enjoy history, then the Sterkfontein Caves are one of the best historical finds in the world. This is in the Heart of the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site. **End Summary** Topics: johannesburg flights
About the Author:
Marc writes about Cheap Johannesburg Flights as well as compares many other domestic flights within South Africa.

Motorola Dext Review

The Motorola Dext is the first Andriod mobile phone from Motorola. It measures 114mm x 58mm x 15.6mm and weighs 163 grams, so it not only is a smartphone but has the dimensions and weight of one too. The front of the phone is almost completely taken up by the 3 inch screen, which is of course a touch screen. The edges are rounded and give the Dext a real modern look, as well as make it easier to hold. Beneath the screen are a few tactile keys. A clever aspect of the Motorola Dext is the side slide out full qwerty keyboard. This makes it much easier to type longer sms’s, write emails as well as surf the internet. The Dext is available in either white or titanium.

The camera on the Dext has 5 mega pixels and auto focus. The screen has an accelerometer, which means that it will switch between being horizontal and vertical depending on the position of the phone. This of course also works for the camera, letting you get creative with your landscape shots. **End Summary** Topics: motorola dext review
About the Author:
Marc writes about the Motorola Dext Reviews review as well as the Motorola Dext Deals on his site.

Egypt tourist info

Egypt is one of the world’s oldest civilisations, as well as being one of the oldest tourist attractions. It is also one of the most populous countries in Africa. As most of the country is arid desert, 99% of the population live along the Nile Valley, so this is where you will find the major cities such as Alexandra and Cairo.

Of course most people who go to Egypt will be going to see the famous pyramids of Giza. As you can tell by the name, they are indeed located in Giza. Giza is where almost all of the most famous Pyramids are located and it is on the west bank of the Nile about 20km from Cairo. The tow must sees in Giza include the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx.
From here a person could make their way to Cairo and visit the Egyptian Antiquities Museum, which keeps Tutankhamun’s tombs treasures. Another great city definitely worth a visit while in Egypt is Alexandria, which was, and in a way still is, one of the most famous cities in the world, being founded by Alexandra the Great. **End Summary** Topics: flights to egypt
About the Author:
Marc writes about Flights to Egypt as well as other ...

The Sony Ericsson C901 is a cybershot phone, but Sony Ericsson have been clever to include other great features as well to make it a more rounded performer.

There is a decent 2.2 inch sized screen, all wrapped up in a body measuring 105 x 45 x 13 mm and weighing just 107 grams. Beneath the screen is a navigational pad which makes it easier to move around the interface of the C901 quickly. Around this pad there are a few quick buttons like a call and call end button etc. Beneath all of this is the keypad with fairly round and bulbous buttons.
The C901 is of course a Cybershot phone, which means it is made to take beautiful pictures and the camera is a definite priority. There is a 5 mega pixel camera on the C901, with auto focus, digital zoom and a xenon flash for picture clarity. Sony Ericsson have also included some really clever features to enhance your picture taking which include: Face detection, geo-tagging (which automatically stores the location a picture was taken), and smile shutter, which will auto-take a picture when a person smiles. The quality of the pictures is brilliant. **End Summary** Topics: Sony Ericsson C901 Review
About the Author:
Marc writes about the ...

Mango Airlines

Mango airlines was the third and final low cost airline to enter the South African market. Like all the other airlines in the country, it has its headquarters at Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo). The first airline to launch in SA with the budget structure was Kulula, and it was very successful in quickly taking market share away from SAA. So SAA decided to strike back and launch their own low cost airline. Initially it had the terrible name of TULCA (the ultimate low cost airline), but was since named Mango Airlines.

It has been reported that Mango airlines, being owned by SAA, and thus getting tax payer money, creates an unfair advantage for them as they can undercut their prices further than the other low cost airlines. The other budget airlines, namely Kulula and 1Time have reported Mango (and by association SAA) for this, but little to nothing has been done.
Mango airlines flies to and from: cape town, Johannesburg, Durban and Bloemfontein. This is not as extensive as the other airlines.
One thing they may have thought about though was registering the domain name mango.co.za, as this is owned by the South Africa mango growers association. **End Summary** Topics: Mango Airlines
About the Author:
Marc writes about Mango Airlines as well as other airlines that have cheap flights in and around South Africa.

1Time Airlines

1Time airways was the second low cost airlines to enter the South African market, after Kulula. They are based at OR Tambo airport. The airline only started in 2004, and started with a flight from Joburg to Cape town. It was launched, and is owned by a company that manages the maintenance for aircraft.

1Time airlines is often seen as the underdog in the low cost airline industry, and for good reason. Their current competitors include Mango, Kulula and SAA. Lets look at each of these separately to see why 1Time is the little guy. Mango airlines is owned and run by SAA. This means that it is technically subsidised and paid for by the government, that is, the tax payer.
Kulula, which was the first budget airline, is owned by Comair, which of course is a subsidiary of BA. They no doubt came up with the idea of launching a low cost airline in South Africa due to operating in the UK with RyanAir and EasyJet. Kulula therefore also has a massive conglomerate backing it.
Then there is of course SAA, the state owned and run airline, which is continuously bailed out by the government. **End Summary** Topics: 1Time Airlines
About the Author:
Marc writes about 1Time as well as other airlines that have cheap flights in and around South Africa.

SAA Airlines

SAA or South African Airways is, as the name suggests, the national airline of South Africa. The headquarters of the airline is an OR Tambo International Airport. Similar to hw other national airlines were launched, SAA started off as a private airline called Union Airlines. His was purchased by the South African government in 1934 and renamed South African Airways.
The airlines foray into the international game started with them flying to mainly other African countries such as Kenya.

SAA were also the first airline (outside the UK) to operate a pure jetliner. Following the introduction of these 707 planes, the flight to Australia was introduced, followed by the flight to Athens and then to New York.
Apartheid proved a difficult time for South African Airways, with the airline’s offices being vandalised around the world, and many countries refusing the airline to fly in its air space. Many international destinations were actually cancelled as a result of this. However as soon as Apartheid was abolished, SAA reopened many of these destinations and the airspace was equally opened up.

SAA had the monopoly in South Africa for many years. **End Summary** Topics: saa airlines
About the Author:
Marc writes about Fly SAA as well as other airlines that have cheap flights in and around South Africa.

The Nokia 5710 XpressMusic is a rather unique looking mobile phone, especially in the Xpressmusic range. The Xpressmusic 5710 measures 108 mm x 50 mm x 17 mm, which is a decent size, making it easy to hold while still being small enough to fit in your pocket comfortably. Beneath the screen are a few call related keys, which surround a navigational pad. Beneath this further is the full keypad, that have a slight bulbous look and feel. The entire keypad can actually swivel to the side as well.

The Xpressmusic 5710 is a music-dedicated phone, and the sound quality is very good. Most of the popular music formats that consumers use are supported, and of course there is an FM Radio. Dedicated-music keys are along the side of the 5710 phone, making it easy to change the volume and track playing. Internal memory is more than enough, but it will be possible to increase even further using a MicroSD card.
The camera on the 5710 Xpressmusic Nokia has 3 mega pixels, with an LED flash and auto focus.

The Nokia 2600 Classic is a very simple, classic looking entry level phone that is super thin and easy to carry around. The mobile phone measures 109.6 mm x 46.7 mm x 12 mm and weighs just 73.2 grams. The screen is quite small at 1.7 inches but it is a good size for reading messages and looking at pictures. Just beneath the screen is a large Navigational Pad, with a few call related buttons surrounding it. Then beneath this is the keypad with decent sized keys making it easy to type fast without pushing multiple buttons. A very clever feature of the Nokia 2600 is that you can use various different covers (called Xpress on covers) to change the look and colour of your phone. The colour options are black, orange, beige and blue.

There is a music player on the phone that has decent sound. Internal memory is 10 mega bytes, and this can not be increased. Nokia have included a Radio as well.
The camera is only a basic VGA camera, which is one of the first camera’s to be included on mobile phones. **End Summary** Topics: Nokia 2600 Classic Review
About the Author:
Marc writes about the Nokia 2600 Classic review as well as compares Nokia 2600 Classic Deals on his site.

The Nokia 2720 Fold is a cool modern looking flip mobile phone, that has some great features. It measures 93 mm x 46 mm x 17.9, but weighs just 90.3 grams, so is very light indeed. The outside screen is a tiny 1.36 inches, but is only meant to be used for checking the time and seeing if you have any unread messages or missed calls. The inner screen is bigger, measuring 1.8 inches, which is pretty good for a flip phone. The keypad is very low profile and almost flat, giving the phone a really modern look. The Nokia 2720 is available in black or red colours.

There is a built-in music player that will support the popular music formats. Internal memory is 32 mega bytes, which means you will be able to store a fair amount on it. Sound quality is decent, although not excellent, and there is an FM Radio, but no 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The camera on the Nokia 2720 has 1.3 mega pixels and 4 times digital zoom. **End Summary** Topics: Nokia 2720 Fold Review
About the Author:
Marc writes about the Nokia 2720 Fold review as well as compares Nokia 2720 Fold Deals on his site.

The Naite Sony Ericsson measures 108 mm x 47 mm x 12.6 mm and weighs 84 grams, which is exceedingly light for a mobile phone. Just beneath the screen are a few call-related keys and then the keypad. The keypad has the typical Sony Ericsson keys, which are easy to type on and have a solid robust feel. The Eco- part comes in as the Naite is made with recycled plastics, has very little packaging and has a low every charger. The Naite is available in Silver or Red.

There is a music player which also has an FM Radio. Sony have included the advanced music features like PlayNow which is like SE’s version of iTunes, and TrackId which works by recording a few seconds of a song and being sent the song and artist’s name.
