The Body Image Illusion Why Many Teen Girls And Women Develop Eating Disorders

Here is an interesting fact: In 1920, women attained the right to vote. This was also the first year of the Miss America Pageant.

A poll conducted by a popular women's magazine found that 75% of women thought they were "too fat" (Glamour). A large-scale survey conducted by (Garner) found body dissatisfaction to be "increasing at a faster rate than ever before" among both teen men and teen women. He found that 89% of the 3,452 teenage girl respondents wanted to lose weight.

Many teenage girls and women suffer from body dissatisfaction, and assiduous dieting and the relentless pursuit of thinness has become a normative behavior among women in Western society. Thinness has not only come to represent attractiveness, but also has come to symbolize success, self-control and higher socioeconomic status. Marketdata Enterprises, Inc. estimated the size of the weight loss industry at over $32,680 billion.

Body image dissatisfaction and eating disorders are more prevalent among females than males. This gender specificity is apparent in that over 90% of patients with anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa are women (American Psychiatric Association).

Body image dissatisfaction and dieting behavior isn't restricted to adolescents or adults. **End Summary** Topics: teen eating disorders depression body image teen weight issues girls body image image facts
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Avoiding The Meltdown On Your Walt Disney World Family Vacation

Part of our free Disney World information we wanted to share some suggestions for your next family Disney World vacation. Avoid crowded times of year (during school holidays, for example) and plan your itinerary around the days of the week and times of day when the theme parks are the least busy.

Bring a stroller, or rent one at the Disney World theme parks. Your child may have plenty of energy and be a great walker on a normal day, but something about pounding the pavement under the hot sun for six to nine hours can really take its toll. Also, realize you will not be able to see and do everything in one trip. So, relax, stroll the amazing Disney resorts and get out of the heat in the afternoon.

Get everybody in your family, including your children, to agree to certain basic touring plans, such as getting up early and taking afternoon naps. At the same time, leave room in your schedule to take a detour and be flexible. I truly believe with a family staying at a Walt Disney World resort can enhance your overall experience. **End Summary** Topics: walt disney world disney family vacation disney free tips disney world attractions disney resort
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt, who is a self proclaimed dreamer loves the dream and magic behind Walt Disney.
Walt Disney World To Tokyo Disneyland Dreams Come True For Disney Cast Members

How many Disney theme parks operations cast members get the chance to travel halfway around the world to give their attraction spiel? Such was the case for two Disney jungle cruise skippers, Beth Schafer and Alex Williams, who represented the Walt Disney World resort at Tokyo Disney resort, as part of a special gathering of jungle cruise skippers from Disney theme parks around the world.

Their trip was part of the 25th anniversary celebration for Tokyo Disney Resort, during which the resort is making 25 dreams come true for its cast members. One unusual dream request came from an operations supervisor at Tokyo Disneyland park who wanted to bring together the top Disney jungle cruise skippers from around the world to share best practices.

Kenichi Ito wrote: "I want jungle cruise skippers worldwide to gather at Tokyo Disneyland, and I'd like to experience all the Disney jungle cruises that are located around the world. I also want to create an occasion where we can meet and get to know the skippers from around the world. **End Summary** Topics: disney walt disney world tokyo disneyland disney jungle cruise dreams disneyland
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt, who is a self proclaimed dreamer loves the dream and magic behind Walt Disney.
The Walt Disney World Resort Was Designed For You

"I do not make films primarily for children. I make them for the child in all of us, whether we be six or sixty. Call the child 'innocence'. The worst of us is not without innocence, although buried deeply it might be. In my work I try to reach and speak to that innocence, showing it the fun and joy of living; showing it that laughter is healthy; showing it that the human species, although happily ridiculous at times, is still reaching for the stars."(Walt Disney)

The most important thing to understand about the Walt Disney World Resort is that it was designed to be fun for anyone. Singles and couples without children who think a Walt Disney World vacation is just for kids ignore the many "adult" entertainments available throughout the resort. Gourmands, sun-worshipers, world travelers, adventure-seekers, comedy-lovers, movie buffs, sports fans, club-hoppers, and history buffs can all find numerous activities and attractions to pique their interests.

The resort is enormous, a multi-day resort destination. Each of its four theme parks is big enough to occupy visitors for a full day (and often two, depending on crowds). **End Summary** Topics: walt disney walt disney world magic kingdom epcot disney family vacation disney tips
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt, who is a self proclaimed dreamer loves the dream and magic behind Walt Disney.
For Teen Girls Body Image Eating Disorders Come Down To Myth and Facts

Tollie's Out of the Darkness Project explores the Myth's of Body Image and obesity. Here are some of the myth's followed by the facts. Do not let the media and illusion make you feel inferior.

MYTH: Barbie and Ken are hot! Fact: If Barbie were a real woman-She would have to grow to be seven feet tall. She would have a bust that was between 38-40 inches, her waist 18-24 inches, her hips around 33-35 inches. Barbie's weight would be 110 pounds. If she were a real woman-Barbie would have to walk on all fours due to her proportions. If Ken were a real man-he would be seven-feet, eight-inches tall. An average man would have to add seven inches to his chest and about eight inches to his neck to equal Ken's measurements.

MYTH: Fat people are ugly. Fact: Beauty is a learned concept, and the cultural norm of beauty changes over time. At the turn of the century, the leading sex symbol, Lillian Russell, weighed over 200 pounds. Marilyn Monroe would be considered "overweight" today. The media, advertisers, and the diet industry tend to set the standard of beauty in today's society. **End Summary** Topics: body image barbie fat teen eating disorders diet myths diet facts body image facts empower
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Walt Disney World and Orlando Florida's Top Attractions For Your Family Vacation

We wanted to share with you some of our Disney exclusive top Walt Disney World and Orlando attractions. These attractions will always be classics and here is a preview for your next Disney vacation.

Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom Big Thunder Mountain:
This old classic coaster isn't too scary; it's just a really good, bumpy, swervy thrill. Set in gold-rush days, the theme of this thrilling roller coaster is a run-away train. It's a bumpy ride with several good drops and moments when you feel like you're going to fly right off the tracks, but there are no inversions and at least you can see where you're going. Everyone needs to ride this at least once.

Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom Space Mountain:
The needle-like spires and gleaming white concrete cone of this attraction are almost as much of a Magic Kingdom landmark as Cinderella Castle. Towering 180 feet high, the structure has been called "Florida's third-highest mountain." Although there are no loop-the-loops, gravitational whiz-bangs, or high-speed curves, the thrills are amply provided by Disney's masterful brain washings as you take a trip into the depths of outer space-in the dark. **End Summary** Topics: walt disney world disney vacation disney family vacation magic kingdom epcot orlando
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt, who is a self proclaimed dreamer loves the dream and magic behind Walt Disney.
Teen Girls And Body Image The Kate Moss Effect

Teen girls, you know that crummy feeling you get after leafing through a fashion magazine chock full of models who, let's face it, look way better than you? It's not all in your head, a new study says.

Researchers found that teenage girls who looked at advertisements featuring stereotypically thin and beautiful women showed more signs of depression and were more dissatisfied with their bodies after only one to three minutes of viewing the pictures. The teens that registered the biggest drop in self-image after viewing the pictures were those who already felt bad about them-selves to begin with, said Laurie Mintz, lead author of the study and an associate professor of educational and counseling psychology at University of Missouri-Columbia. "It's like a vicious cycle for a lot of teenage girls," Mintz said. "Basically, teen girls who already feel ashamed of themselves are the people who are going to be most impacted by those images."

Researchers divided 91 Caucasian girls into two groups. The first group was shown advertisements for underwear, nail polish, jewelry, lotion, chewing gum, and liquor that featured rail-thin, seemingly flawless women. **End Summary** Topics: teenagers teen depression depression sadness body image depression treatments
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Fueling An Eating Disorder Crisis Anorexia and Bulimia Are Not A Lifestyle

They go by names such as "Anorexic Beauty," "Emaciate Me" and "Salvation through Starvation."

They glorify snapshots of women with their rib cages and spinal columns protruding.

They also give such tips as how to hide an eating disorder from friends and family. Or how to trick doctors into believing you're gaining weight by stuffing your pockets with weights.

Dozens of sites that promote anorexia -- and the related illness bulimia -- as a lifestyle choice rather than a mental disorder are flourishing on the Internet.

And doctors and nutritionists are appalled.

"These sites are horrific," says Lauren Solotar, vice president of clinical services and operations at the May Institute in Walpole, Mass., which specializes in behavioral health care, education and rehabilitation.

"These are people who have a disorder who are rationalizing it. It is very dangerous," Solotar says.

Experts say the sites, some of which include message boards and chat rooms, probably wouldn't cause the average person to develop an eating disorder. But they could trigger the irrational fear of becoming fat in someone prone to it. **End Summary** Topics: anorexia bulimia eating disorders teen body image pro-anorexia fat weight loss image
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Tollie's Teen Weight Loss and Diet Empowerment Outsmart Your Stomach

Recently, Cornell University researchers asked a group of people a simple question: "How do you know when you're through eating dinner?"

The answer might seem obvious. After all, doesn't every teenager push the plate away when they feel full? Well, no. The leanest teens do, according to the scientists, but teens that are overweight rely more on what are known as "external cues." For example, guys packing a few extra pounds tend to stop eating when, their plates are clean, everyone else in their group is finished, or the TV show they're watching is over.

Unfortunately, these cues have nothing to do with how they feel physically. "People's brains are often out of touch with their bodies," says C. Peter Herman, Ph.D., a University of Toronto expert on appetite control. "And when eating becomes mindless, overeating becomes routine."

The key player in all of this appears to be a region of your brain called the left posterior amygdala, or LPA. This area monitors the volume of food in your stomach during a meal. Fill your gut to a comfortable level, and the LPA tells your brain to drop the fork. **End Summary** Topics: teens overeating weight loss diet food fat losing weight fat loss weight loss tips health
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Energy Or Enemy? Teens Drink Of Choice

Apparently, it doesn't take a biochemist to formulate an energy drink. No, according to Starbucks, any guy off the street is qualified. At least that's whose opinion mattered most when the coffee giant recently created the ingredient list for its own concoction.

"There are many energy ingredients on the market, and B vitamins, guarana, and ginseng are the ones our customers are most familiar with," says Ruby Amegah, product development manager for the team behind the Starbucks Doubleshot Energy + Coffee. Which perhaps in large part explains why the company chose them; It's smart marketing.

Trouble is, by letting consumer research influence ingredient lists, energy-drink companies are helping popularize exotic-sounding compounds that even scientists don't yet fully understand. The approach has worked: Last year, Americans spent $4.2 billion on these supposedly high octane elixirs. And that's probably why manufacturers haven't strayed far from the best-selling recipe they used when the first energy drinks took off a dozen years ago.

It's a formulation that includes a hefty dose of caffeine and sugar combined with smaller amounts of seemingly obscure substances, most notably guarana, ginseng, and taurine.

But do these beverages really energize your body and sharpen your mind? **End Summary** Topics: energy drinks fitness teens taurine caffeine ginseng glucose red bull starbucks coffee
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
The 10 Worst Foods For Kids

Most kids, if given the choice, would live out their young lives subsisting on nothing but chicken fingers. If those chicken fingers happened to come from Chili's, they might be pretty short lives. An active 8-year-old boy should eat about 1,600 calories a day. This single meal plows through 70 percent of that allotment. America, we have a problem.

Knowing firsthand the struggle with understanding what is good or bad since I was always the fat kid and then topping out over 500 pounds. I have analyzed kids' menu offerings at all the major chains, taken a hard look at packaged foods, and uncovered the truth about what this country is really feeding its children.

The bad news is that many of America's food industry titans are pumping kids' meals full of added sugars, dangerous fats, and empty calories. But, there's great news, too: Kid's meals tell us a lot about how adults will fare, as well. Read on for all the dietary disasters, and an equal number of drive-thru saviors, for everybody in the family.

20. Worst Breakfast Cereal: Cap'n Crunch (1 cup) 147 calories; 2 grams (g) fat (1 g saturated); 16 g sugar; 1 g fiber. **End Summary** Topics: youth obesity fat kids obesity weight loss diet resturant meals kids meals fast food
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Teenagers And Adults Is Depression A Chemical Reaction

Brain doctors agree: The 15 million U.S. adults who are battling major depression are suffering from a real medical illness. Studies point to a shortage of the brain chemicals serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine, the neurotransmitters that ferry messages between nerve cells. Doctors have no test to determine which ones are lacking, but there are drug therapies available to boost them.

Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) Serotonin is made from amino acid tryptophan; it regulates mood and appetite. SSRIs such as Paxil and Zoloft raise serotonin in the gaps between brain cells to normal levels, and for some patients, this helps lift their mood.

Serotonin and Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs) As a key message sender for those nerves that command your body without input from your brain, norepinephrine controls your response to ultrastressful situations. Low brain levels of it have been linked to depression-related symptoms, including fatigue, insomnia, sleeping too much, agitation, and trouble concentrating. SNRIs such as Effexor and Cymbalta work by blocking brain cells from removing both serotonin and norepinephrine.

Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCAs) TCAs, such as amitriptyline and imipramine, are the modern-day precursors to SSRIs and SNRIs. **End Summary** Topics: teenagers teen depression depression sadness depression medicines depression treatments
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.

Depicting the fascinating and dynamic journey man has taken in communications, Spaceship Earth debuted Oct. 1,1982.

Guests visiting the geospheric attraction in the mid-1980s were entertained by the voice of legendary CBS journalist Walter Cronkite, who narrated the attraction for nearly a decade.

The attraction was revamped in 1994 with narration by actor Jeremy Irons, along with a new show storyline theme of communication bridges the barriers between us; new musical score; show lighting upgrades; re-staging of some of the historical scenes; newly created scenes; hi-definition virtual classroom and future communications vignettes; and laser-driven special effects.

In July 2007, Walt Disney Imagineers began the third reimagining of the visual and thematic centerpiece of Epcot. Reopened this month, Spaceship Earth now gives Guests the opportunity to imagine their future and discover how each generation of mankind has shaped the future for the next generation and how the spirit of innovation has moved people from caves to the cosmos. The adventure ultimately leads to the very top of the geodesic dome, where Guests arrive at the present. **End Summary** Topics: disney walt disney world disney world's epcot epcot spaceship earth disney world attraction wdw
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt, who is a self proclaimed dreamer loves the dream and magic behind Walt Disney.
Walt Disney World Is Fueled For The Future

For the Walt Disney World Resort, the road to a greener tomorrow may be closer than we think. That's because many vehicles used throughout property are becoming more and more environmentally friendly.

Take Disney's fleet of Walt Disney World Transport buses for example. They now are being tested on B20 (20 percent bio-diesel, 80 percent conventional diesel). This accomplishment started modestly by using a B5 blend, but the percentages have been methodically increased with no real problems for the engines.

In the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, certain alternative-fuel vehicles were specifically selected for their reduced emissions. For example, because the Kilimanjaro Safaris vehicles travel through animal habitats at Disney's Animal Kingdom, propane is used instead of gas or diesel for its better emission properties. In the enclosed Utilidors (backstage tunnels) at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Epcot, zero-emission electrical vehicles are prevalent.

Also heading down the right track are the Walt Disney World Railroad locomotives. They have been retrofitted to accommodate bio-diesel. The Walt Disney World Resort uses 1,500 alternative-fuel vehicles, including electric golf carts, hybrid trucks, Segways and the electric monorails. **End Summary** Topics: disney walt disney world resort disney theme park disney attraction disney world conservation
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt, who is a self proclaimed dreamer loves the dream and magic behind Walt Disney.
On March 12, 1999, Santa and his elves joined Walt Disney Imagineering to open Disney's Winter Summerland, a 36-hole miniature golf course located near the entrance to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.

The wacky, elf-sized golf course, which is divided into two 18-hole experiences one sporting the zany, snow-clad Florida look reminiscent of Disney's Blizzard Beach, while the other has a more tropical, holiday theme, including ornaments hanging from palm trees,is loaded with interactive elements that have entertained and engaged more than 1.5 million miniature golfers for the past 10 years.

"We have quite a few regulars we know who play a round of miniature golf multiple times during their trip," said Tom, a Walt Disney World cast member. "In fact, just recently there was a family from England who visited us 10 times to play miniature golf during their stay at the Walt Disney World Resort. As they were leaving, they waved goodbye and told us that we'd see them in July. They come a few times a year, and their trip isn't complete without a few rounds of miniature golf here. **End Summary** Topics: disney disney world walt disney world disney world vacation disney world vacations wdw
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt, who is a self proclaimed dreamer loves the dream and magic behind Walt Disney.
Diet Help 8 Ways To Tame A Raging Appetite

It's seems to always come down to controlling cravings before they wreck your diet. Here are eight simple steps to implement today, to ensure success.

1.Guarantee Success:How long do you think you can stick to a new plan? Find a duration that you're 100 percent confident you can achieve, even if it's just a couple of days. Once you make it your goal date, start the process over. This not only establishes the notion that you can be successful, but also gives you a chance to start noticing that eating better makes you feel better, reinforcing your desire to continue.

2.Find More Motivation:If your diet's only purpose is to help you finally achieve six-pack abs or even just a two-pack, it may be hard to stick with for the long haul. The solution? Provide yourself with additional motivators, monitor migraines, heartburn, acne, canker sores, and sleep quality, along with common measures of cardiovascular health.
One of the most awe-inspiring attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom isn't a new thrill ride, restaurant or the experience of seeing your favorite animal up close. It usually isn't advertised that the park is home to many endangered species brought here to receive another chance to thrive, including several species of primates, a group that includes monkeys and apes.

Several primates cared for at the park appear at different levels of severity on the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) Red List of Threatened Species, which ranks animal population trends and any threats a population faces, such as deforestation or the pet trade.

The Angolan colobus monkey is listed as "least concern;" the ring-tailed lemur is "threatened;" the mandrill and collared lemur are "vulnerable;" and the siamang and white-cheeked gibbon are categorized as "endangered."

Animals most at risk at the park are the cotton-top tamarin and the Western lowland gorilla, which are ranked "critically endangered." "There's absolutely no substitute for seeing animals face-to-face," said Jackie Ogden, Ph.D., vice president of Animal Programs and Environmental Initiatives. "We feel it, and research confirms it. **End Summary** Topics: walt disney world disney world disney's animal kingdom disney disney cast member theme park
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt, who is a self proclaimed dreamer loves the dream and magic behind Walt Disney.
Try Being Over 500 Pounds Then Losing 300 And Learning To Form New Diet Habits

Habits, good or bad, are formed by repetition. Eating habits are no exception. If you are in the habit of snacking when you watch TV, you were reinforcing that habit until finally it became a part of you.

Other habits are formed in the same way. Some of these habits are: eating while reading, eating the minute you come in the house, eating when the kids come in from school, eating when you come in from a date, or eating while cooking dinner.

We also find that certain moods and circumstances cause us to eat even if we are not hungry. For example: anger, boredom, fatigue, happiness, loneliness, the kids are finally in bed, our spouse is out for the evening or out of town, nervousness, anxiety, our spouse brings home candy or ice cream, etc... all may trigger an eating response.

The list is endless. Habits are hard to break. We must not only break old habits, but we must make our goal to form new ones in the same manner through repetition.

Make some daily commitments. Work to meet these commitments each day whether you feel like it or not. **End Summary** Topics: habits eating habits nutrition fitness diet behavior modification weight loss hope
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Look The Label Now Lists All Fats In Your Foods Some Of Them I Cant Even Spell

So by now you've seen the new food labels which the FDA mandated for food manufacturers. Food manufacturers must include the grams of trans fat on all nutrition labels starting back at the beginning of last year.

This means that as inventory is replaced in the grocery stores, you should start to see grams of trans fat listed on all packages from now on, providing you with an easier way to avoid them.

Now, if you were like I was my only understanding of fat was it was bad. All fat, if the ingredient said fat, then you don't eat it. Then again, that philosophy didn't work for me since I ballooned up to 500 pounds. I also, know I'm not alone considering the massive "fat-free" kick so many brands started marketing.

If you've never heard of good trans fats before, let me explain in a bit.

First, the bad trans fats I'm referring to are the man-made kind. These are represented by any artificially hydrogenated oils. The main culprits are margarine, shortening, and partially hydrogenated oils that are in most processed foods, junk foods, and deep fried foods. **End Summary** Topics: fat diet fat loss weight loss nutrition diet tips diet nutrition fat loss tips cla muscle
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Is Your Teenager Dealing With Anorexia Or Any Eating Disorder Or Is It Just Hormones

Therapists normally assure parents that nobody is to blame for a teenager's eating disorder and that the causes of teen anorexia, bulimia and binge eating are not fully known. But scientists have been able to identify the exact risk factors for developing these conditions.

It was found that there is a strong connection between teenagers avoiding conflict and how they manage their behaviors and their eating disorders.

Eating disorder victims tend to have family members who struggle with depression, alcohol dependency, drug abuse, anxiety, perfectionism, obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, or are real goal orientated people with a fixation on succeeding at all costs.

Families where these issues are present need to be aware that their teen's are at risk of developing an eating disorder more than teenager's from other families. These teens should avoid dieting at all and should not be nagged to lose weight, as dieting can trigger any genetic predisposition towards an eating disorder.

Teenagers who diet often are far more likely than non-dieters to develop an eating disorder. When dieting is started it is easy for vulnerable teens to become fixated on counting calories and weighting-in all the time. **End Summary** Topics: teen teenagers parenting eating disorder anorexia bulimia diet anorexia treatment control
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.
Anorexic Teenagers Can Overcome Their Eating Disorder And Empower Their Life

Teen anorexia is characterized by a significant weight loss resulting from excessive dieting. Most teen anorexic girls and an increasing number of teenage boys are motivated by the strong desire to be thin and a fear of becoming obese.

Anorexic teens consider themselves to be fat, no matter what their actual weight is. Often teen
anorexics do not recognize they are underweight and may still "feel fat" at 80 lbs.

Teen anorexics close to death will show you on their bodies where they feel they need to lose weight. In their attempts to become even thinner, the teenage anorexic will avoid food and taking in calories at all costs, which can result in death. An estimated 10 to 20% will eventually die from complications related to it.

Teen anorexics usually strive for perfection. These teenagers set very high standards for themselves and feel they always have to prove their competence. The teen anorexic usually always puts the needs of others ahead of their own needs.

A teenage girl or boy with anorexia may also feel the only control they have in their lives is in the area of food and weight. **End Summary** Topics: tollie anorexia teen anorexia teenagers teen eating disorders image issues body image mental
About the Author:
Tollie Schmidt lived his life as the fat kid.

It's never too early for Diet Pepsi at least according to seventeen-year-old Rachel, who pops one open each weekday morning at 7:00 A.M. "I keep cans or 24-ounce bottles in my car for the ride to school, " says the Maryland resident, who downs at least five bottles throughout the day. "I'm obsessed with the taste, and I'm a typical teen girl watching her weight and dieting."

Randee, a seventeen-year-old from Idaho, gulps down 44 ounces (more than three can's worth) of Dr. Pepper with every school lunch for a mid-afternoon energy kick. Randee also feels she makes up for the calories by not eating, as a self-proclaimed Pro-Anorexic Teen. "Last year, I drank three 44-ounce cups a day," she admits.

Alex's beverage of choice, SoBe's No Fear Gold, with its 174 milligrams of caffeine per can, it helps him stay awake at night so that he can study. "I'm an enormous energy-drink junkie! I also stockpile my mini-fridge with Tab," says the Northwestern University freshman.

No matter what time of day, one thing's for certain: Teens love sugar-saturated beverages and caffeine-packed drinks.
