Help Kids Imagination Grow with their Games and Tents

The children’s play houses by Win Green may be seen as the most lovable toddler toys among the many products available at the online baby shop Hello Baby (www.HelloBabyDirect.co.uk) -which range from furniture and toys to accessories. And that’s because they relate to one most precious aspect of childhood: creativity. Just remember when you were a kid: climbing up a tree with friends could become a true expedition to the North Pole and venturing into an abandoned shelter was like the best fun ever. More so, it was bliss. In a word, there was no boundary to your playful imagination.

Win Green products encourage kids to create their own games, stories and fun through imaginative play. There are different beautiful ranges of Win Green Tents, Pavilions, Wigwams and Wendy houses; most with matching floor quilts. All are appliquéd and embroidered, hand-woven and made out of cotton. Win Green wants to both bring back the quality of the old fashioned toy, where detail was a key ingredient, and to remain eco-friendly by being conscious of materials used. Practicability has not been forgotten either as Win Green Play Houses are easy to assemble with light aluminium frame. **End Summary** Topics: Win Green Play Houses Win Green Wigwams Play Houses
About the Author:
About the Author

Baby Travel Tips

Christmas is approaching…The festive season often involves visiting relatives and hence the word “travel”, which on itself is alright but put next to the word “baby”, that can mean things get a tiny bit more complicated…or certainly less practical. So here are a few tips and a tick list as to how to keep (you and) your baby relaxed when travelling without you requiring an extra pair of arms or a mule for the excess of baggage.

1st, transporting your baby:
If your baby is younger than 15 months, you might opt for a baby carrier: which maintains a bond between your little one and yourself. However past a certain weight, it is definitely preferable to use a buggy. Strollers are ideal for going on holidays as they are the lightest pushchairs available –so that’s especially good for public transport. If you’re mostly going to use a car, then a good idea is to go for a baby travel system which includes a detachable baby car seat to a pushchair base. For other baby car accessories, Hello Baby advises having a look at Sunshine Kids line of products -which are pretty functional.

Be prepared for all baby needs (critical point! **End Summary** Topics: JellyKitten Brio Heimess infantino Plan Toys Kid Kraft
About the Author:
About the Author

Guide to Baby Toy Safety

A few simple Top Tips will keep baby safe and provide confidence to Mum & Dad that baby’s toys are safe.

These days’ manufacturers must work to very rigorous requirements and regulations to ensure that child’s toys are safe. Gone are the days of toxic paint and other materials which can cause harm.
Toys are also graded by age with small parts being excluded from baby products.

There are, however, still dangers but these can be easily managed by parents if they are aware of the risks:
Always take great care with heirloom toys which could have toxic paint or metal pins. Eyes and other parts may be removable. It is best to keep such toys out of sight and unused.

Check each toy for damage, sharp edges and any loose parts. Try the good tug test to verify that all parts are secure.

Never give a child under 4 years old any item which could cause choking. As a guide, consider any object which could fit into a 35mm film container as a potential choking hazard. Marbles, magnets, lipstick tops, pen tops are all attractive to children but can be deadly.

Ensure that toys, e.g. **End Summary** Topics: JellyKitten Brio Heimess infantino Plan Toys Kid Kraft Lamaze Baby nursery Baby stuff Baby products Baby toys Baby gifts Strollers Car s
About the Author:
Trevor Ginn is managing director at Hello Baby (www.hellobabydirect.co.uk) an online baby shop based in Bethnal Green, East London, UK.
Guide to Buying Baby Toys

Guide to Buying Baby Toys (0-12 months)
This guide is designed to help parents make toy choices and to assist friends in buying the most appropriate toy for your baby. It is organised by baby age as this provides the best overall guide. Remember also to use the age guide on the toy description and to ensure that the toy is from an established manufacturer who has designed to the latest EU safety regulations. For hygienic reasons toys which will be handled need to be washable.

0-1month
The newborn has limited senses and toys which provide stimulation can be useful. Baby has very limited vision so toys with strong contrasting colours and movement are suitable. Cot mobiles provide stimulation and brighten up the room. A simple activity gym on a floor mat also provides stimulation. Rattles are always appreciated by baby.

1-3 months
Baby is now developing rapidly and will be starting to lift his/her head and finding the world looks different! Playmats/activity gyms provide reaching shapes which baby can start to punch”. Rattles attached to foot socks are also great for a good kick on the mat. **End Summary** Topics: Baby nursery Baby stuff Baby products Baby toys
About the Author:
Trevor Ginn is managing director at Hello Baby (www.hellobabydirect.co.uk) an online baby shop based in Bethnal Green, East London, UK.
