marketing strategies : the price mix

The price mix is a series of defined to attain or maintain a specific goal where sales objectives and profit margins of a company are concerned.
When a company launches a product, one of the most difficult questions it has to answer is: At what price should we sell this product? Indeed if the company chooses a price which is too low profit margins will be low and sales will be high, on the other hand if the price is too high the profit margin will be high but it may discourage consumers from buying the product. Moreover the price contribute to the making of the image of a particular product
To fix a price a company has many alternatives:
-	The cost approach : The company decides to fix the price of the product according to what the product itself costs, this method is used in trades: For example if a shop owner buys a product 10€ from a retailer he has to make profit on the product so he will sell it at a higher price .
With this technique the marketer must be careful about two aspects: The price must not be too high. **End Summary** Topics: marketing marketing mix stategy;price;price mix business
About the Author:
don't forget to visit our website:

Before we can dig deep into this article’s subject which is product marketing let’s first define marketing:

-	First of all marketing is one of the many branches of management; marketing consists of studying the market :
One has to determine which product, services he can offer to the market by studying the demand the behaviour of people, of society the marketer has to analyse the market very methodically, he has to keep in mind that he has competition, indeed nowadays monopoly is becoming rare on a giver market, I admit that some companies have more power than other on certain markets (For example Microsoft when it comes to Operating Softwares
Microsoft is the leader on the market. Even if It has competitors like Apple.

- The marketer should also enquire about laws; regulation to make sure his product isn’t illegal in any way. **End Summary** Topics: marketing product distribution marketing strategies
About the Author:
don't forget to visit our website !

The swine flu: threat or hoax?

This epidemic/pandemic has been in the news since weeks, according to reports it is dangerous and mortal, well even the human flu is mortal (approximately 6000 people die each year in France due to the human flu virus). Moreover last year the bird flu created a similar havoc amongst the masses.
Let’s study this pandemic scientifically labeled as H1N1, in order to understand better this illness we must define it, firstly we can simply define the flu as a virus
A virus can’t replicate itself on its own it needs a host cell in the body it is infecting which means that a virus is a parasite.
Now that we know what a virus is, we can have an idea about how it works:
-	It replicates itself countlessly and infects as many cells as it can consequently upsetting the way the body works.
The influenza we are interested in is the swine flu:
Why is the swine flu dangerous for us humans? **End Summary** Topics: flu health H1N1 tourism travel swine flu
About the Author:
don't forget to visit our website:

european tourism's competitivity

Europe once a reigning superpower of the world ruled the world for centuries; today it has lost its superpower status but it stays the most visited destination in the world, what is more , tourism is one of the most promising sectors on the European economy, indeed since 1980 the number of arrivals doubled in the European destinations.
Being competitive in the tourism field is vital for any economy:
Indeed tourism creates, maintains jobs, let me give and analyze an example:
Let's say a family goes for a vacation in France: they will buy tickets, book a hotel room if not more, they will go sightseeing, eat at restaurants, and buy souvenirs...
Now with that example we can deduce the importance of tourism, I have enumerated no less than five economic sectors one family keeps at least four economic sectors active.
Now if you consider that from a real life perspective, meaning that millions tourists visit Europe every year we can at least get the idea about the importance of tourism in a given economy. Thanks to tourism countries are ready to develop infrastructures and of course to make existing infrastructures more attractive. **End Summary** Topics: tourism study travel europe competitivity business
About the Author:
Don't forget to visit our website:

the economic crisis and it's impact on tourism

Nowadays the world is witnessing a global crisis an economic recession to understand the impact of this crisis on tourism it's necessary to understand the global impact of this crisis on the consumer himself , to begin with the subject let's do a quick analysis of the crisis:
The crisis can be considered as an illness, this illness started on the stock markets and the credit markets it was a result of a crash the financial system on which the actual economy is based collapsed , as a result all the investments made by people collapsed too then this illness extended and has now reached a global scale , the consumer is the first to suffer from the consequences of this crisis, jobs are being cut down, people get less wages and as a result the family's budget becomes more and more limited and people think twice when they want to have some fun.
Holidays are the primary source of amusement, so one question we can ask ourselves is:
What is the impact of this crisis on tourism? **End Summary** Topics: economy crisis tourism travel vacation business recession
About the Author:
don't forget to visit our website:

Tour operators: Who are they ?

Tour operators may not be directly linked to the world of hostelry but they can not be dissociated from it so I have decided to write this second article on tour operators hoping that it will be appreciated by you readers.

What is a tour operator?

Well for starters we all heard of travel agencies ,when one wants to travel the first thing he does is to go to a travel agent look for a destination and book his ticket ,but where does your travel agent get these trips?
They get them from tour operators who provided them brochures of their tours
A tour operator has to make a package before actually being able to sell it to travel agencies. The tour operator works through travel agents.
There are several possible ways for a tour operator to acquire a package:
-	A tour operator can rent a flight such a flight is commonly known by the name of charter flight the operator can rent an entire flight for a determined period of time if it has enough clients or it can rent it in partnership with other operators. **End Summary** Topics: travel tour operators presentation vacation holidays
About the Author:
don't forget to visit our website !

France's new hotel classification

New hotel classification in France:

A reform of the hotel classification has been on the news since more than a year:
Indeed until now there were no five stars hotels in France, but since the beginning of 2009 the change is on:
Hotels that volunteer will be rated from one to five stars for a minimum of three years and a maximum of five years.
The evaluation will be done, at the expense of the volunteers.
Moreover the ratings will have to be approved by the French government.

The point of this new classification system is simply to mix different point of views related to norms and understand and respond better to the clients’ needs by responding better to the comfort criteria that are a must have” and other criteria that can please the clients.

The move was of course orchestrated by the French government whose goal is to place tourism at the heart of the economical growth by defining a new political plan concerning tourism: destination France 2020 the matter was discussed this summer at the Assises nationale du tourisme” that took place this summer. **End Summary** Topics: hotel rankings france classification champs elys©es
About the Author:
