The 4 Key MUST HAVES When Writing an Article

Much of the success of a website comes from the drive of traffic to the site. Because of this, the value of article writing is immeasurable. Articles are a key element to the success or failure of internet based companies and the sensible webmaster will always include articles that will work for them and earn them many benefits for their site.

Articles serve a number of purposes and are vital for a successful website. As well as driving traffic to your site, they are a significant factor in getting a high site ranking in search result pages. The higher your ranking, the more traffic will be sent to it. Consequently, there are more profits and a bigger potential for other income generating formats also.

Now, before you go off cramming your website with articles, you need to look at some certain requirements. These requirements must be met to obtain the maximum benefits an article will provide for your site. The articles need to be well written and relevant. This will keep the reader interested and keep them returning for more, not to mention the word of mouth advertising you will receive from the satisfied customers. **End Summary** Topics: traffic keyword density keywords keyword phrases article linking search engine search engine ranking
About the Author:

Building Productive and Harmonious Relationships

Relationships between people, whether of a personal or a business nature, can be very delicate and must be continuously nurtured in order to preserve them. If tended well, they can provide long lasting security and an immense sense of belonging to a group or association.

Effective relationships within an organization are a necessity as wellbeing of the group or organization is reliant upon how well its members can work together and on how well the members of the organization work with management.

An ineffective group or organization can be really frustrating and may ask so much of their members that it impacts on their life outside of the organization. In order to meet deadlines, members may be foregoing their need to interact efficiently with their family members or to meet their own needs for relaxation in other ways. Thus, a group or organization may find that relationships will become stressed or break down. People or other entities who depend on these groups or organization also suffer.

Society is defined as a web of relationships, which requires all parties to work and contribute their share in order to achieve a common goal. **End Summary** Topics: respect win-win outcomes effective listening skills common goals understanding
About the Author:

10 Things You Should Know About Raising a Baby

So¦you are now the proud parents of your beautiful baby but how much do you know about looking after him or her? Having a baby can be the most joyous event in your life but it can also be the most intimidating. There is no instruction book and it is therefore important that you know about some of the things that lie ahead. With a basic understanding, the job ahead will be much easier.

	Caesarean delivery: A caesarean is normally carried out on women when there is a possible danger in normal delivery. C-sections can be performed for many different reasons including delayed labour, difficult labour, problems with the baby that may make delivery hard, or other problems. Just remember, you are still a mother with a beautiful new blessing whether the baby is born vaginally or by a caesarean section.

	Bathing your baby: While your baby still has her umbilical cord, she should only be sponge bathed. The umbilical cord generally falls off after a week or two. After this happens, bath your baby in a shallow baby bath as shown by your nurse.

Artery Disease The Killer Among Us

What do our arteries do?

The human body is an incredible machine and the thing that keeps it all going is the heart. This organ is our pump and the blood pumped around our body by this pump is carried around via arteries and veins. Therefore, it is imperative that any disease to these arteries is prevented or treated as a matter of urgency.

Diseases that can affect the arteries

Any form of arterial disease is dangerous due to the death of organs by oxygen starvation. This can happen when there is a blockage in the artery.

The most common artery disease in the Western world is hardening of the arteries. It is most commonly caused by age but can also be influenced by other factors as well, affecting the rate of progressive illness. Hardening of the arteries is called arteriosclerosis.

Another disease is atheroma which is a condition in which fatty deposits can be found on the walls of the arteries. This increases generally as the body ages. **End Summary** Topics: Atheroma atheromatous disease strokes heart attacks cholesterol hardening of the arteries blockages of arteries embolism smoking
About the Author:

Indigestion – It May be More Than a Pain in the Stomach

Most of us never even notice the internal workings of our digestive system. Occasionally, we may have a bit of a tummy rumble or belch but nothing more.

Indigestion is a common disorder and is characterized by pain and a nauseous and full feeling in the stomach. It often occurs after we have eaten or overeaten the wrong types of food. Severe or persistent indigestion may need treatment as it may be a symptom of a medical complaint.

Types of indigestion

It is extremely common to get a bout of indigestion after eating rich or spicy food or after eating a heavy meal and most adults have suffered this form of mild indigestion from time to time.

If the indigestion is more severe and persists even after using an antacid, it may be indicative of a medical condition that can be treated. Medical conditions with indigestion as a symptom include migraine headache, peptic ulcer, and hiatus hernia. This type of indigestion is known as chronic indigestion.

Causes of Indigestion

Indigestion usually occurs as a result of eating food that is unsuitable or it can occur as a result of the way that food is eaten. **End Summary** Topics: Indigestion types of indigestion chronic indigestion causes of indigestion treatment of indigestion dangerous side effects hiatus hernia peptic
About the Author:

Miscarriage – Dealing With the Emotional Impact

Miscarriage is the term given to the loss of a baby before it reaches full term. Often, people regard this as bad luck, particularly if it happens in the early weeks of pregnancy. It is difficult for many to fully comprehend the power of a woman’s grief upon this loss as few can understand that the bonding process between mother and child began when she became pregnant.

For some reason, society understands the loss of a baby when stillborn but not from miscarriage. The grief associated with the latter appears to be seen as a lesser grief. However, many women suffer the most passionate sorrow they have ever experienced during this time.

Even if the miscarriage occurs early in the pregnancy, the parents feel a deep sense of loss. They have often made that emotional investment in this baby and have rearranged their lives in readiness for this new life.

Loss of Belief

Often, the mother loses her belief in herself and her basic belief of motherhood as she feels she has failed to protect this child, despite looking after herself and remaining as healthy as possible. **End Summary** Topics: Miscarriage loss of pregnancy loss of unborn baby death of unborn baby emotional impact of miscarriage grief anger emotions
About the Author:

Ovarian Cancer – Don’t Ignore the Warning Signs

Around 1.5 percent of women are likely to develop ovarian cancer at some stage of their life. It is less common than breast cancer but is considered as the most serious and fatal of all gynecological cancers.

The reason for this is that the cancer is usually advanced before it is diagnosed, making treatment difficult. The ovaries cannot be easily examined and, because the warning signs are unclear, late diagnosis is common.

Because of the lack of screening tests available, it is imperative to know the early symptoms and the possible risk factors.

Understanding ovarian cancer

The ovaries are two small organs that are a part of the female reproductive system and they are situated each side of the uterus. These ovaries contain germ cells that become eggs which are released when the woman menstruates.

They also produce estrogen and progesterone, the hormones that adjust the menstrual cycle and have an effect on the growth of breasts and body hair as well as affecting the development of the female body shape.

What types of tumors are there?

This normally happens in an organised manner but occasionally they grow abnormally and form a growth that we know as a tumor. **End Summary** Topics: Ovarian cancer epithelial ovarian cancer borderline ovarian cancer germ cell ovarian cancer sex-chord stromal ovarian cancer symptoms of ovarian
About the Author:

The spine of the human body consists of 24 vertebrae. There are 7 cervical vertebrae in the Scoliosis is a potentially crippling condition that can cause deformity in children. Early detection and treatment, therefore, is extremely important in reducing or eliminating these effects and their subsequent impact on the person’s life.
neck, 12 thoracic vertebrae in the back, and 5 lumbar vertebrae at the lower end of the spine. These bones are all connected by ligaments and muscles and the bones themselves become progressively greater in size from the top to the bottom of the spine.

In some people, a curvature of the spine develops and this is the condition known as scoliosis. The condition of scoliosis can be described according to the area of the spine and also the direction of the deformity in the spine. Cervical scoliosis is rare and may be left or right sided. Thoracic scoliosis is by far the most common. It can also be left or right sided. Scoliosis is not a problem in the lumbar area as it is too short for the condition to develop.

There are two main forms of scoliosis, mobile and postural. **End Summary** Topics: Scoliosis ankylosing spondylitis idiopathic adolescent scoliosis Postural scoliosis Structural scoliosis corpulmonale
About the Author:

Making an Income Online - Is it really a viable option?

Additional income means an amount earned on top of your regular income that you earn from employment or normal work. This can be used to supplement your normal income so that you are able to pay off your outstanding debts, build up your capital, or spend it on some of life’s luxuries that you could not normally afford.

So does having the extra income make you happier? This is a contentious point though, I have little doubt that being debt-free would definitely create less stress and, consequently, would lead to an improved lifestyle.

People always compare their income relatively with what they consider the norm and the norm continues to escalate all the time. This norm is what increases the spending, more or less in direct proportion to the income.

With the advent of the internet and internet marketing, there has come an avalanche of business opportunities for generating an additional income. Network marketing and affiliate marketing have been largely successful for those people willing to put in the work. Other income opportunities on the internet include simple technical jobs, writing, and advertising.
Multiple Sclerosis - Understanding the Effects

What is multiple sclerosis?

Multiple sclerosis is a central nervous system disorder characterized by damage to the messages transmitted to and from the brain. These messages generally control the way the body works. Thus, any damage can cause problems with vision, memory, balance and movement. It may also affect the ability to feel sensation, pain and vibration.

The human body is serviced by an extensive system of nerves that control the way the body functions. These nerves are protected by a fatty substance called myelin which insulates them from damage. If a person suffers from multiple sclerosis, the myelin is damaged thus blocking the impulses from the brain.

Symptoms of multiple sclerosis

The early symptoms include loss of vision, loss of balance, weakness, and numbness. These symptoms are not universal to all sufferers. In fact, some people suffer little more than intense fatigue while others may be so affected they may become paralyzed.

The term ‘sclerosis’ means scarring and anyone looking at the brain or the tissue of the spinal cord sees what looks like intense scarring.

The damage in multiple sclerosis is thought to be caused by an unusual reaction to infections. **End Summary** Topics: Symptoms of multiple sclerosis types of multiple sclerosis Diagnosis of MS treatment of MS What is multiple sclerosis benign multiple sclerosis
About the Author:

Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain

One of the most common problems of the elderly is that of lower back pain. This does not mean, however, that lower back pain or lumbago is not common in other age groups as well. Fortunately, it often subsides within a short time with little or no treatment.

Because the lumbar region of the back (the small of the back) undergoes considerable stress when a person twists or lifts, it can become sprained quite easily. The pain produced by lumbago or lower back pain makes movement painful and sufferers are generally unable to work during these episodes. The majority of sufferers recover in a week or two and require little or no medical treatment. Often, rest is all that is needed.

Causes

Although lower back pain is usually caused by a back condition, it can also be caused through other medical conditions.

A very common cause of lower back pain is that of muscle injury. This is usually brought about by stress which is normally the result of bending incorrectly or lifting while carrying excess weight. This type of back sprain is characterized by pain and stiffness that is evident within a few hours of the injury. **End Summary** Topics: Lower back pain lumbago osteoporosis ankylosing spondylitis slipped disk prolapsed disk causes of lower back pain treatment of lower back pain
About the Author:

Hydrotherapy – Therapy in Water

Hydrotherapy, as its name suggests, is a therapy that takes place in an environment where patients are immersed in warm water. This allows them to exercise painlessly, aiding recovery from a wide variety of conditions. Many large hospitals use this form of underwater therapy to assist patients to overcome conditions where movement is limited because of paralysis or pain or where muscles have been weakened thorough injury or illness.

Hydrotherapy treatment

All treatment is supervised by a hydrotherapist, a qualified professional, and takes place in what appears as a normal swimming pool but with very important modifications. These pools have hoists for lifting people in and out of the pool, as well as walking bars and specially designed handles for those who have difficulty or who find it painful to move around without that added assistance. Also, it is essential for the water to be at body temperature for effective treatment.

There are three primary objectives to conducting physical therapy in warm water and these are;

1.	It abolishes gravity, allowing the body to float and amplifying the power in the muscles. This allows greater movement of a specific limb or joint.
2. **End Summary** Topics: Hydrotherapy water therapy arthritis ankylosing spondylitis stroke paralysis hydrotherapist hip joint
About the Author:

Eating Disorders and their Causes

Eating disorders have become a major health problem in recent years and, according to the health professionals, they are caused by many different factors. Every person with an eating disorder will be affected by these different factors in their own way. These include social and cultural factors, psychological factors, family influences, biological factors and external issues.

The starting point of an eating disorder can often be a diet. If the diet is a particularly strict regime, the risk is even greater. In people who have underlying factors, it may be the thing that pushes him or her over the edge if the diet is prolonged. Of course, we must remember that not everyone who follows a diet will develop an eating disorder.

For family or friends, the search for the single cause of a loved ones eating disorder is fruitless. Many think that finding a single cause will help everyone to understand and be more able to help the person ‘get over it’. If only it were that simple!!! It is definitely important for those family and friends to focus on supporting the person while they recover from this disorder under the guidance of health professionals. **End Summary** Topics: Eating disorders anorexia bulimia social causes cultural factors psychological factors family influences biological factors external issues S
About the Author:

Anorexia nervosa – Dying for Perfection

One of the most common and potentially fatal of the eating disorders is anorexia nervosa. This disorder affects a huge number of young women for a variety of reasons. It has also been established that around twenty percent of sufferers of this disorder are young males. It can also affect both males and females in the older age bracket.

Obviously, one of the most visible signs of this disorder is the excessive weight loss that comes with self starvation. The sufferers of this illness severely restrict their intake of food and suffer great anxiety at the thought of losing control of their weight. The thought of becoming fat creates incredible stress for them. Health professionals believe that anorexia nervosa is more closely related to low self esteem and feelings of worthlessness than it is to actual food and weight.

There are serious medical complications and psychological problems associated with anorexia nervosa. Around ten percent of sufferers die from the physical complications of the disorder although there is certainly hope for people if they seek assistance in time. The sooner they seek medical help, the greater their chances of recovery from this insidious illness. **End Summary** Topics: Anorexia nervosa anorexia self starvation low self esteem eating disorders chemical imbalance symptoms of anorexia warning signs of anorexia c
About the Author:
