How to avoid fraud while import used cars from Japan?

Japanese vehicles industry is one of the biggest industries in the world because of their high quality, performance and reliability, Japanese new & used vehicles are in great demand all over the world. Even Japanese used vehicle are very popular in the World. More than 50,000 used cars are exported every month from Japan to many countries like Srilanka, Kenya, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Zambia, Dubai, South America, Australia, Russia, Georgia etc.

Introduction of online services by used car exporters and auction halls in Japan has made it much simpler, faster and cost effective. But the risk of frauds is the biggest fear while dealing through the internet. Sometime fraud dealers have attractive websites, very good stock on very low prices display on their website. The offer attractive discounts or very low price to trap importers or individual buyers.
Buyers place order in haste, send money and get no response. Then they try to find the website, address and the company and none of them exists. Please be cautious and do some finding before no need to ‘crying on spilt milk’. **End Summary** Topics: Japan vehicles Japanese VIN JEVIC JETRO JUMVEA export
About the Author:
You can find details information and resources of Japanese Used Cars exporters, and Japan used cars for sale, import regulations, export procedure, Japan used car auction system, please visit : http://www.japanautopages.com

Once a vehicle passes inspection, a sticker is placed on the front windscreen identifying it as having an authentic odometer reading.

Best way to Import used Vehicles in Bangladesh

Since Independence in 1971 good relations are maintained between Japan and Bangladesh as Japan helped Bangladesh in its independence war. More than 90 percent of Bangladesh’s imported cars, trucks, buses are reconditioned or used cars, mainly from Japan. Despite the high cost of transportation, the purchase of used cars and other vehicles from Japan to most countries is still profitable, due to the relatively low cost and good condition of the vehicles being exported from reliable Japanese used car dealers.
In year 2010 a total of 33,000 cars were imported, bit lower than 37,634 cars in 2009. But demand for used vehicles is rising in Bangladesh.
Know the rules to import used vehicles in Bangladesh:
1. No importation for vehicles more than four years old.
 2. A certificate containing age, model number and chassis number of the used car will have to be submitted to the customs authority from Japan Auto Appraisal Institute (JAAI).
How Customs Valuation is done
The customs valuation of imported goods is done for assessment and realization of customs duty based on the normal value concept. **End Summary** Topics: Import Japan Bangladesh used cars used buses shipment
About the Author:
Just click on to any of the used car exporters ’ portals like bangladeshcartrade.com or japanautopages.com and get complete information about hundreds of reliable and trusted exporters, members of auction halls in Japan and certified JUMVEA members who can solve all your car demands with most competitive prices.

How to know about Vehicle Identification Number ?

What VIN Number ?

A car’s vehicle identification number (VIN) is the automotive equivalent of human "DNA".

It sets the vehicle apart from the millions of other vehicles out there. Since 1981, it has been consisted of 17 digit characters. It displays a vehicle’s uniqueness and heritage and provides a form of "factory to scrap yard" identification. It can be used to track recalls, registrations, guarantee, warranty claims, thefts and insurance coverage.

Each character or digit has a particular purpose. VIN number does not include the letters I (i), O (o), or Q (q) (to avoid confusion with numerals 1 and 0).

A Vehicle Identification Number, or VIN, is stamped onto a small metal plate and usually fixed to the driver's side of the dashboard so that it is visible through the windshield. It is used by police in case of theft, insurance companies in case of accident, manufacturing companies for recall, mechanics or anyone that has a need to identify the vehicle or its attributes.

However vehicle manufacturers can stamp the VIN anywhere they want; frequently the engine block will have the VIN number stamped on it.

Every country was having their own regulations while importing any type of used vehicles from Japan.

Due to increase in the volume of the import of these Japanese used cars, almost country’s like Kenya, Russia, Mauritius, Jamaica, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Australia, United Kingdom, Caribbean Countries, Philippine’s government strictly asks to follow some guidelines to avoid importing useless or vehicles, which are harmful to the environment of their country.

One of the most common restrictions from the government of any country was related to manufacturing year of the vehicle importing to their country.

Actually in Japan you can know the details of first registration easily but the manufacturing year is not written on the export deregistration certificate or on Car Registration Certificate and it is necessary to mention the year of manufacturing while importing any used car to some of the countries.

Why these importing countries do not accept this first registration?
It is because the first registration means the month and the year of the first ownership of the vehicle in Japan, which does not provide any information about when it was actually manufactured. **End Summary** Topics: Japan japanese car used vehicles truck bus manufactur
About the Author:
http://www.japanautopages.com

It is useful to all those importers who order used vehicles, trucks online and can’t visit Japan physically to check vehicle’s exact condition. It allows the buyers to decide how much the same used vehicle will cost in the market or how longer the same vehicle will now run further. These grading are always been done under very strict and standard way, so that importers can trust these grading and order them if it meets their requirement.

Below are the grades with their specification, which can help importers to understand the condition of the used vehicle they are buying:

S1: Slightly rust.
S2: Rust a little bigger than S1.
S3: Rust needed to be repaired.
XX: Panal has been changed.
