Drop The Media Drama..... by David Squire
One of the worst avenues for us is to continually watch and listen to the media, who thrive on broadcasting and talking about Drama. Because they are convinced that the only way they can survive is by looking for the worst in every situation.
When things improve why do we not hear about them? Why does the bad just fad away without a follow up when situations are better? Because when situations improve its no longer news. The Media needs to blow everything out of proportion to scare us into "tunning in".
We must overcome these tendency to focus on all the negative reporting that is everywhere. Its stressful and unhealthy and will hold us in a depressed state. I'm not saying you should shut yourself off to the world, just limit your intake of negative media.
I for one can't stand to watch or listen to the media everyday, it does not seam to change all they do is broadcast fear. They come up with headlines to draw us in and repeat the words as much as possible.
Some of the media's favorite phrases and headlines are: " **End Summary** Topics: media Drama broadcast energy economic contractions economic expansion months prosperity family and friends reporting news negative media
About the Author:
David has been in the remodeling and interior design business for over 18 years and has worked closely with hundreds of designers to bring their creations to life with model perfect showcases. So you have tons of pictures in your closet or under your coffee table that you hardly look at anymore. Let's display them and remind ourselves of vacations, a family get-together, friends or family birthdays, or beautiful scenery that you wanted to capture.
Maybe you’ve put together a photo album or have a handful of frames throughout the house. Maybe you have an online photo gallery for all your friends and family to see. All are great ideas, but what about creating a collage. How about a fun family project to do in order to remind yourself to smile and feel good.
This is a simple process that’s fun for the whole family. Taking all those photos of vacations, a family get-together, friends or family birthdays, or beautiful scenery that you wanted to capture. After all, you snapped all those photos for a reason, right? So let's get them out and display them.
Take an area in your home, maybe a hallway or a spare bedroom, and visualize a collage on the wall filled with all those fun pictures you have. **End Summary** Topics: family birthdays vacations coffee table beautiful scenery photo album photos fun pictures color collage attaching beautiful scenery birthday
About the Author:
David has been in the remodeling and interior design business for over 18 years and has worked closely with hundreds of designers to bring their creations to life with model perfect showcases.

Simple Repair by David Squire
Why do bath accessories fall off the wall and don't last very long? Is it moisture in the bathroom? What about misuse or a damp towel being too heavy?
After all, the bathroom is one of the most widely used rooms in the house, that is, next to the kitchen. It makes sense that the towel bars would take more abuse than most other bath accessories.
After installing my towel bars when our bathroom remodel was complete, I hung my towel bars just like the instructions said. I used those plastic inserts that were included. After about a year, they were getting wobbly and eventually fell.
After the third time our towel bar fell, I said, "That's it. I'm going to find a way to secure this thing." And I wasn't talking about moving the towel bar over an inch and mounting it the same way for the fourth time, like I had been doing.
I wanted a fix that would last years. After some trial and error, I came up with a simple fix that's lasted for years and, to this day, is still holding. **End Summary** Topics: silicone fall off the wall bathroom damp towel towel bar anchor bath accessories moisture fixture drywall plastic anchors mount
About the Author:
David has been in the remodeling and interior design business for over 18 years and has worked closely with hundreds of designers to bring their creations to life with model perfect showcases.
Create Your Very Own Masterpiece by David Squire
Did you know that a simple poster could look and feel just like an expensive work of art, without the high cost?
Ever wonder what a Picasso or Leonardo da Vinci or maybe a Vincent Van Gogh would look like displayed in your favorite room?
Imagine, with just a few hours, you can own your very own priceless work of art, without the million dollar price tag. And, best of all, you did it yourself.
I'm talking about taking your poster print you already own and creating your very own masterpiece.
Just think about your next dinner party, the looks on your guests' faces when you tell them: No, it's not an original; no, I didn't hit the lotto; I made it myself.
I've known about this process for years and used to pay hundreds of dollars to someone else, when all along I could have just made it myself. It's so simple.
With just a few simple steps, you, too, can have your very own work of art.
I'm not talking about going out and paying thousands of dollars for replica artwork.
Okay, okay. **End Summary** Topics: art poster print poster print brush strokes art supply Mod Podge artist Canvas Gel paint posters blockbuster
About the Author:
David has been in the remodeling and interior design business for over 18 years and has worked closely with hundreds of designers to bring their creations to life with model perfect showcases. One of the hardest times we must face is the cold winter months that usually keep us inside for most of our spare time. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of fun activities to do when it's cold.
You can go skiing or take up a hockey game or maybe build a snowman. Better yet, you can hop on a snowmobile and take a joyride. Okay, so maybe you're like me and are not that adventurous.
The one thing that I can't stop thinking about is the warmth that the sun provides. That feeling of ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation that a spring Sunday afternoon will bring. The going for a walk and enjoying the fresh smells in the air, the birds singing, and all green leaves on the trees with the flowers blooming. I can see the butterflies fluttering around with the blue sky in the background.
But now all I see is snow, gray skies, and bare trees. So I decided to help myself feel better and continually remind myself of the better days of spring and summer. **End Summary** Topics: tropical plants living room tropical room feel caribbean tropical space summer vacation winter blues patio furniture picture prints artist
About the Author:
David has been in the remodeling and interior design business for over 18 years and has worked closely with hundreds of designers to bring their creations to life with model perfect showcases. So you like to take lots of pictures? What do you do with them all? Do you take the time to put them in a photo album book? Or just upload them into your favorite online account? All of these are excellent choices, but how about the home? Do you have picture frames in the house? Of course you do. We all have picture frames in the house. The question is: What do we do with them? Do we leave them alone and not pay any attention to them? When is the last time you stopped and looked at your photos and thought about good times. Have those photos become boring and outdated? How can that be? After all, you take tons of pictures. It's easy to forget about those pictures that are displayed on the walls or on the end tables. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have pictures on the walls and tables. It shows where you've been and who your family and friends are. Every year we take new family photos to send to our family and friends and replace the old photos with the new ones. **End Summary** Topics: pictures family project painted vacations family and friends family friends photos visual stories picture frames home photo
About the Author:
David has been in the remodeling and interior design business for over 18 years and has worked closely with hundreds of designers to bring their creations to life with model perfect showcases.

Redecorate For Free by David Squire
When we create a room in our home with new decor and decorative art and accents that take time and planning, we feel we are done. Over time, we never change anything. It's as if now that we're done, there's nothing more to do so we don't do anything.
It's a constant admiration and reflection of ourselves. Over time, we tend to lose that admiration by being numb to our past creation. We stop noticing that art on the wall that may have taken some time to find. Running around from store to store trying to find that perfect piece, only to stop noticing it over time. Why is this? How is it we spend all that time and energy creating that perfect room when, in a few years, we forget.
Maybe it's everyday life, responsibilities, or possibly time. It may be we think to change things up a bit or to refresh would take way too much time and money, so we just stop noticing.

Ever wonder why your pictures lean over time? You take the time to hang them and see to it they are level, and then one day they are leaning. Why do our pictures lean over time?
Ever wonder why they don’t stay straight? After all, it's not like they get touched.
I understand in a hallway, the pictures would start leaning or even fall off the wall from people bumping into them. But what about the ones behind the couch or in the formal rooms? No one gets close enough to the wall to bump them.
Maybe it’s the maid when dusting. Okay. No maid. Well, they could lean after you did the dusting. That’s got to be it because after dusting, we usually straighten them before moving on to the next one. Of course, if you live in an earthquake zone or close to a railway, that could be the problem.
So what could it be? I really don’t know. But one thing for certain: It's annoying. A few years ago, I was home shopping and looking through new model homes. **End Summary** Topics: young children solution cleaning stone tile or glass fall off the wall two-sided tape hanging temporary objects homes designer pictures model homes te
About the Author:
David has been in the remodeling and interior design business for over 18 years and has worked closely with hundreds of designers to bring their creations to life with model perfect showcases.
Finally a Proper Solution to Everyday Problemsby David Squire

Do you want to save money on your monthly heating cost? Are you ready to stop wasting energy?
Do you know how much energy is wasted each and every day in your home? It's time we all do our part and start conserving energy.
Do you feel a cold draft when you walk by your doors?
There are several steps you can take to save energy from wasting away. Start by walking around your home and feel for cold drafts. Put your hands up close to you doors and feel for cold air. If you feel air at your doors, you are wasting energy. Your heating system is overworking itself by trying to warm the air that is seeping in through your doors.
You will be surprised how much energy is lost in a single day. In most cases, by sealing up these door drafts, the money spent with some simple materials could be paid back in savings on your monthly heating bill in as little as two months.
It's time we all do our part and help conserve energy. **End Summary** Topics: doors save energy energy seal drafts money conserve energy caulking weather striping frame cold air cash
About the Author:
David has been in the remodeling and interior design business for over 18 years and has worked closely with hundreds of designers to bring their creations to life with model perfect showcases. Tips For Impress Family and Friendsby David Squire
So you like to take lots of pictures? What do you do with them all? Do you take the time to put them in a photo album book? Or just upload them into your favorite online account? All of these are excellent choices, but how about the home? Do you have picture frames in the house? Of course you do. We all have picture frames in the house. The question is: What do we do with them?Do we leave them alone and not pay any attention to them? When is the last time you stopped and looked at your photos and thought about good times. Have those photos become boring and outdated? How can that be? After all, you take tons of pictures. It's easy to forget about those pictures that are displayed on the walls or on the end tables. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have pictures on the walls and tables. It shows where you've been and who your family and friends are. Every year we take new family photos to send to our family and friends and replace the old photos with the new ones. **End Summary** Topics: pictures once a year take some time make it a family project a few minuets to ponder memories of years past visually see yourself family and friends c
About the Author:
$$bio_HTML$$

Redecorate For Free
by David Squire

Remember when your friends and family saw your decorating for the first time, all the compliments.
