Don't Be The Next Handbag Snatch Victim!

I read this morning that a church vicar attempted to tackle a handbag thief who stole a bag from a member of his congregation. Apparently the vicar took chase after the thief mid-service and managed to snap a photo of the culprit, which police later used to identify him. The valiant vicar claimed he was only doing his duty, but it seems that these have-a-go heroes are few and far between - most people on the street tend to look the other way and ignore what's happening. I once saw a pickpocket reach his hand inside a woman's bag on the tube, and I don't know what came over me, but I slapped his hand! He glared at me and, thankfully, just walked off through the crowds of people without saying anything, but it could have been different if he'd had a knife or something. Would you step in if you saw someone being mugged or pick pocketed? I don't know if I'd do it again if I had time to think about it, but at the time it was just instinct. **End Summary** Topics: tula handbags tula bags handbags fashion bags
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching ...

Five Of The Best Estate Cars Around...

Estate cars are best thought of for their practicality. However, over the past couple of years their looks have become more of a defining feature, which has resulted in a whole crop of really attractive and sophisticated estate cars popping up on the market. This list covers five of the best-looking and most popular estates out there at the moment.

Volvo V70 estate:
The Volvo V70 estate has a distinctive sporty look to it. Its spacious interior makes it perfect for large families and great for storing away all of your equipment. The V70 estate is available in a range of high-performance engines which make for a great drive. This estate even comes with a 'park assist camera' to help you squeeze into the smallest and tightest of spaces. Another good thing about estate cars is their high levels of comfort and the V70 doesn't disappoint here either. The only thing I would mention about the interior is that it isn't as classy as some of its rivals...but it still remains practical.

BMW 3series Estate:
This is my personal favourite of all the estates on this list. **End Summary** Topics: VW Passat motoring Volkswagen
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching the VW Passat

Five Of The Best Convertibles

Summer is now upon us which means that you will begin to notice a host of convertibles take to the British roads. This list discusses the top five convertibles around at the moment.

VW Beetle Cabriolet:
This revived classic has been a huge hit since it was re-introduced to the car market. The cabriolet version was launched in 2003 and has been particularly popular among female motorists. Its retro styling and funky curves have made it 'the car to be seen in' during the summer months.

BMW Z4:
A brand new Z4 has just been launched and it has proved that BMW are definitely at the top of their game. It is slightly bigger than the previous version with stronger masculine lines that ensure that heads are turned as it zooms by.

The Z4 replaced the popular Z3 back in 2002 and has proved to be a more than adequate replacement. In fact, it has learnt from some of the design flaws found in the Z3 - which were to do with the suspension and chassis - to ensure that this car meets the highest criteria. The Z4 is one of the best-looking convertibles on the market. **End Summary** Topics: Audi TT Audi cars convertibles
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching the Audi TT

Why Pick A 'Green' Car?

When you look for a new car what factors do you think are most important, looks, price, running costs or fuel efficiency?

Well, over the past few months it seems as though more and more people are looking for fuel efficient cars that offer them lower running costs. This is evident through the amount of Peugeot 107s and Citroen C1s that are currently on the roads - cars that are renowned for offering great value for money when it comes to fuel.

These cars in particular have been billed as city cars - mainly because of their size. However, people who have to commute to work on a daily basis will also welcome any fuel price reductions.

At time when gas prices are increasingly on the up it is not that surprising that people are looking to these cars.

I recently heard a lot of buzz around the Vauxhall Insignia EcoFlex - basically it's an environmentally-friendly version of the Insignia CTDi. Changes have been made to further reduce CO2 emissions and cut fuel costs.

The under-car panelling has been adapted to improve aerodynamics and therefore increase fuel-efficiency. **End Summary** Topics: Vauxhall Vauxhall dealer
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching Vauxhall Scotland

How Do You Choose Your First Car?

Every day teenagers across the country are passing their driving tests, so obviously they will be looking to purchase their first car. Now, what should teenagers look for in their first car? What are the most important aspects - its looks, the price or safety?

Many teens will probably consider its appearance first and foremost as they will want to look good when they take to the roads for the very first time. More often than not good looks means a high price which isn't always the most convenient option. A good-looking car may also mean higher insurance as the better looking cars will probably come equipped with larger exhausts, sporty spoilers or alloy wheels...which inevitably means a high insurance quote too.

Teens will therefore have to look for an attractive car that is within their budget and that also qualifies for reasonable insurance - as we all know how expensive car insurance can be for first time drivers.

The trusty Vauxhall Corsa has always been a favourite amongst first-time drivers. The older versions have not always been the most attractive cars, but at the same time they are not ugly. **End Summary** Topics: Vauxhall new Vauxhall Vauxhall Scotland Vauxhall Corsa
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher currently looking at new Vauxhall and Vauxhall Scotland

Cut The Middle Man and Cut Removal Costs

Moving house is commonly considered one of the most stressful things we can do. It would be an understatement to say that there's a lot to do. From finding a new home to packing and stacking boxes and the physical move itself, and that's not even considering mortgages.

When international removals come into the equation stress and costs can easily multiply. There's even more to be planned out and taken into consideration before you've even thought about getting hold of cardboard boxes. From new currencies to new customs and even languages, the last thing you need to worry about is the cost of the whole thing.

You know it's not going to be the cheapest of moves you ever made but saving money wherever you can is going to be an advantage for both your bank account and your stress levels. There's nothing like the soothing effects of knowing you're getting a great deal and your current endeavors aren't going to cripple you in the money department.

Lately there's a growing number of 'middle men' appearing offering services that purport to save time and money. **End Summary** Topics: home removals international removals moving
About the Author:
Tony is an online writer and researcher, currently researching International Removals and UK Removals

Choosing The Used Car For You

Thinking of buying a used car? You're not the only one - while car sales are down as a whole as the economy takes a nose dive, the figures are suggesting that more people are getting behind the wheel of a second hand or nearly-new car in efforts to get more for car for their money and avoid the fun of depreciation.

With this in mind, there are several things to consider before you head off to you nearest car supermarket or used car dealers that will save you time when you do. First of these, strangely enough, is what kind of car are you looking for? It's best to have as clear a picture as possible. This doesn't mean looking at sports cars when you have a family of five, think specific makes and models if you want, use the bottomless-bucket of information that the internet is to get as clear a picture of the car you want as possible.

Are you looking for a car with greater fuel economy over speed and nippiness? Do you want something that's more suited to inner-city life - smaller and a doddle to park? **End Summary** Topics: cars used cars second hand cars automotive financing
About the Author:
Tony is an online marketer, currently researching used cars and second hand cars

Is The Toyota IQ The Car For You?

The new Toyota IQ is one of the latest 'city-cars' to hit the market as the demand for small, nippy cars seems to heat up.

The likes of the Peugeot 107 and the near-identical Citroen C1 have proved a big hit as more people seem to have turned to smaller fuel-efficient cars in a bid to make their fuel go further. Toyota's latest offering is smaller than both models coming in at just 3 meters in length which makes it ideal for busy inner-city driving.

Size wise the IQ is more of a rival to the likes of the Smart ForTwo. The IQ was launched in the UK during January 2009 and at present is the smallest 4 passenger car in the world - I say at present because I'm sure someone will come up with a smaller one!

A great advantage of having a small car is being able to fit into the tiniest spaces - perfect for the busy London streets! Another thing to consider is that the new IQ has a turning circle of just 3.9 metres - a black cab needs twice that! **End Summary** Topics: Toyota Toyota IQ motoring automotive fuel efficient
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching Toyota IQ and Toyota Newcastle

Mazda To Launch A New Green Line-up

After initially stating that they wouldn't be entering the 'green motoring' market Mazda have now done a u-turn and spoke about their plans to launch a new line-up consisting of both electric and hybrid vehicles.

Mazda have suggested that the new hybrid line-up will consist of cars with both diesel and gasoline engines thus catering for a wider market. The new cars are set to have improved fuel economy which will in turn save the customer money.

The new 'green' line-up is expected to debut at the 2009 Toyoko Motor Show. Mazda's main aim is to offer affordable transport that is environmentally friendly and a 'step ahead of current hybrid offerings' - so it will be interesting to see the outcome.

The new vehicles are likely to include the innovative stop-start technology and be far more aerodynamic as Mazda will try to save fuel wherever possible.

It seems as though Mazda have finally decided that the green route is the one to take. **End Summary** Topics: cars motoring new Mazda Mazda Newcastle automotive
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching new Mazda and Mazda Newcastle

Advice On Storing Goods When Travelling

Many people are beginning to take 6-12 months out and go travelling, to see the world, experience new cultures and explore famous landmarks. Before you can take off on your adventure you will need to think about your home in the UK.

If you are renting - chances are you won't be able to afford up to six months rent without living there so you will probably end your contract and move out. The problem you will then face will be looking for somewhere to store your household goods and furniture.

It may all get a bit confusing if you are looking to store your goods with your family and friends and your goods could end up all over the place. It's a really good idea to look into self storage units as they can be quite affordable and far more convenient than the previous option.

A lot of storage companies charge by the amount of space you use up - which works out a lot cheaper than paying for the whole unit. The storage unit is usually split up into sections with internal walls or dividers to separate your items from other peoples. **End Summary** Topics: secure storage self storage value storage storage storage units
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching self storage and secure storage

Why Secure Storage Is Ideal For Storing Archive Records

If you have decided that you have run out of space in your office from storing too many old archive records that you made need at some point, but certainly not in the near future then a secure storage unit could be the answer.

There are secure storage units located across the country that will give you somewhere to store your old archive records so that you can free up some space in your office.

You can usually store your goods for a minimum of one week, but you will obviously be looking at a longer scale. When looking for a storage unit make sure that you choose one that is monitored by 24hour CCTV so that you know your records are being watched should anyone try and break in. You could even phone up the storage company to chat to them about their security if this is a major concern for you.

Another thing to consider is packaging. Any good storage company will ensure that their storage containers are clean, free from dust and protected against possible water damage. **End Summary** Topics: secure storage self storage value storage storage storage units
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching self storage and secure storage

Get The Most Out Of Your Gaming

When you sit down to start a new mission on Call Of Duty or Gears of War you will want to get the most out of your gaming, and if you are settling down nicely in the evening at around 9ish - you will have to be careful not to make too much noise. You will probably therefore find yourself having to turn down the volume slightly which obviously means that you are not getting the most out of your gaming.

So, rather than turning down the volume to prevent complaints from your mum or to stop your baby from waking you should invest in a gaming headset. Gaming headsets allow you to get the most out of your gaming, you don't need to turn the volume down so you can ensure that you will hear every single sound, from an enemy creeping up behind you to a helicopter landing in the next field. Some headsets are fully-integrated with surround-sound which allows you to position yourself in the game - it is a totally different experience to what you would get without them. **End Summary** Topics: gaming X Box X Box 360 gaming headsets X Box accessories
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching X Box accessories and ...

The Pros And Cons Of Academies

Since the introduction of academies in 2000 they have caused quite a stir in the education sector. Head teachers, teachers and other staff have been leaving left, right and centre in a stand against academy status.

Academies are privately-owned state schools which are run independently of the local education authority. Their income is generated by sponsors who have control over how the school is run. This seems to be one of the major cons that comes with academy status as many teaching staff worry about job uncertainty and parents worry about teaching methods and education standards.

Other negative points surround the threat they pose to other state schools. Academies are generally set up in new, innovative and well-equipped buildings which means that there is often a high percentage of children who look to attend them. This means that rival state schools will suffer from less parents enrolling their children, which means that they will get less money from the government. **End Summary** Topics: education academies learning college sixth form school
About the Author:
Tony is an online marketer and researcher, he is currently researching education charity and learning academies

Why Storage Units Are Ideal During Office Renovations

Relocating to another office can be a very stressful time - having to run your business as well as managing the move can be hard work. This is especially true if you are having your new offices built from scratch.

If you are buying new furniture for your new office you will want to ensure that it arrives on time, so you may be thinking about ordering it before the office is completed. But then you will need to find somewhere to store the furniture until the office is ready to be furnished.

On the other hand you may need to store your existing furniture somewhere whilst the move is underway. If your office is getting re-decorated you won't want the furniture in the way as it may get dusty or have paint splashed on it!

Storage containers are ideal in either of these scenarios - they provide a safe and secure place for you to store your furniture, paperwork and other office equipment whilst you need it out of the way.

There are many storage facilities located across the country which makes it really convenient for you to store your items. **End Summary** Topics: secure storage cheap storage relocating storage units moving home
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching cheap storage and value storage

A Family MPV That Is Practical And Stylish

At last we have a practical family MPV that serves its purpose as a practical family car... and that doesn't look like a big unattractive space wagon like many of its competitors in the market!

So many 'family MPVs' are designed to accommodate growing families - which is what they should do. But in the attempt to offer as much space as physically possible the exterior often looks like a bulky space wagon - which doesn't exactly make it aesthetically pleasing. Many families then find themselves having to sacrifice looks to buy something that offers them 'space' and practicality.

Combining stylish looks with family-practicality in a family MPV seems to be unheard of so far. You usually have to decide between a chunky wagon or a generic 7-seater - which all basically look the same. The C4 Picasso offers something new...

Citroen have finally designed something that satisfies all your families' needs! The C4 Picasso is surprisingly attractive with its sleek, curvaceous lines and (almost) never-ending windscreen which gives you great all-round visibility. It is definitely one of the more advanced MPVs on the market. **End Summary** Topics: cars Citroen MPV Citroen C4 Picasso automotive travel motoring
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching new Citroen cars

Another Car Bites The Dust

Another car has hit the end of the production line and come to a bitter end. The Vauxhall Vectra has been killed off and has already been replaced by the Vauxhall Insignia.

The Vectra was first introduced to the market in 1988, however it was sold under the 'Cavalier' name in the UK - it was traded under the Vectra name in 1995 so enjoyed a fairly impressive run of 13 years.

Poor sales eventually led to production being cut - although at one stage the Vectra proved to be good competition for the like of the Ford Mondeo. The Vectra C (which ran 2002-2008) only managed to come higher than 10th once in the best-selling UK car lists whilst the Vectra A managed to get to the 4th spot. The figures obviously pointed to the fact that the Vectra was slowly losing its popularity. The Vectra did enjoy some success during its reign however - when it outsold the Ford Mondeo for the first time during 1999.

For the price - around 12,000 GBP - the Vectra more or less gave you what you paid for. The problem is people often want more than what they paid for. **End Summary** Topics: Vauxhall used Vauxhall Vauxhall Vectra automotive Vauxhall Scotland
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching used Vauxhall and Vauxhall Scotland

When you decide to take a massive step and move abroad there are 1001 things that you will need to organise and get into place before you can even think about moving.

Once you have decided what country you are going to be moving to you will need to spend some time there to find your ideal home, you will want to get used to the new culture and perhaps you will need to arrange visa's etc. On top of all that you will also need to think about putting your UK home up for sale, deciding what you are going to do with your furniture, as well as a host of other things that will need sorting out.

Rather than spreading your household furniture around all of your family and friends homes you can leave it all in one place - so that when you need it again you will know exactly where everything is! Whilst you are busy travelling to and from your new country of residence a storage container could be the ideal solution and could save you a lot of hassle. **End Summary** Topics: cheap storage secure storage value storage moving abroad relocating
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching ...

The Super Stylish New BMW Roadster

The new-look and revamped stylish BMW Z4 has just won a 'Red Dot' award for High Quality Design.

The Red Dot prize ranks among the most well-known and renowned design prizes in the world - so it is high praise indeed!

The BMW Z4 was introduced to the market in 2002 as a direct replacement for the BMW Z3. BMW were said to have addressed some of the design issues that were discovered during the reign of the Z3 when designing the Z4. The problems covered issues with the suspension and chassis. The Z4 is longer and larger than the Z3 and is much heavier too. Initially you could only get a Z4 roadster, but then eventually they launched the coupe in 2006 - and about time too!

The rear suspension in the Z4 is completely different to the Z3 as it uses multi-link suspension which allows for good handling and good ride quality simultaneously.

The second generation Z4 was recently launched in 2008 and debuted in America in 2009. The exterior and the interior have both been completely revamped. **End Summary** Topics: BMW automotive used BMW BMW Z4 BMW Scotland
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching used BMW Z4's and BMW Scotland

What To Look For In A Storage Company

Storage units are great for when you are in-between moving homes and you need somewhere to store your furniture. They are also helpful during the summer months when students move from their university halls to rented accommodation. Here are a few things to bear in mind when choosing a storage facility.

When you are looking to place your personal belongings in a storage unit your main concern is always security. You want to ensure that your belongings are going to be safe and protected. Even if it is your 20 year old sofa you want to feel safe in the knowledge that it won't be touched.

When you are researching secure storage companies try to always check out the level of security they have on location. You should choose a company that has 24hour CCTV surveillance as this will give you a piece of mind that your personal belongings are being watched - and should someone try to break in the company will be alerted straight away. Research the company or visit their storage units to check that they are clean and well-maintained as you don't want your possessions being kept in dirty and damp conditions. **End Summary** Topics: secure storage cheap storage relocating storage units moving home
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching cheap storage and value storage

The Importance Of Packaging

When you are moving home, relocating or packaging your possessions for storage you should ensure that your possessions are packed safely and securely so that nothing can be broken or damaged during transportation.

Take extra care with fragile items and try to use durable, strong and secure boxes so that they can handle the move. Some storage companies offer a packing service and they will have a range of packaging products available which are all designed for storing and moving goods.

Use plenty of bubble wrap when packing breakables - such as kitchen china and glasses. Once you have filled the boxes pad out any empty spaces with scrunched up newspaper so that the box won't be crushed if another box is placed on top of it. Remember to mark fragile boxes clearly so that the people handling your goods at the storage company know to handle the box with care and they will know what boxes to put on top and which ones are safe at the bottom. **End Summary** Topics: secure storage cheap storage relocating storage units moving home
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching cheap storage and value storage

Football Kits Help To Provide An Identity

Long gone are the days where kids turned out on a sunny Saturday afternoon to play football wearing coloured bibs to differentiate them from their opposition. Now they turn up in their own unique team kit - which not only displays a number on the back of their shirt, but also displays their name, the team's logo... and it doesn't stop there.

After they've sweated it out on the pitch for 90 minutes they take a shower and then change into their training outfits - which are also emblazoned with their initials. Town football teams today are kitted out like the professionals!

The benefits of football kits are often under-estimated though. Football kits provide you with an identity and give you a sense of belonging. The players on that Saturday afternoon will have ran around proudly displaying their name on the back of their shirt and when the 90 minutes are over and they have changed into their training kits they would have really felt part of the team.

Giving the kids a sense of pride will no doubt create a unity within the team but also makes the club look more professional. **End Summary** Topics: football kit team kit sports football
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching football kits and team kits

Secure Storage Units Are The Ideal Solution For Students

After students have completed their first year at university they often move out of the university halls to move into rented accommodation with a group of friends. Over the long summer break they often move back home for a few months before embarking on their second year. They will find that they will have to move their possessions out of the university halls around the end of June of July and usually they won't start up again until the end of September or beginning of October. During this time they will need to store their items until they can move into their new rented accommodation.

Storage units are ideal for this period of time as they provide a safe and secure environment for your personal possessions. It is a cost-effective solution too, instead of starting up their contract with their new landlord in July, they can put their possessions into storage which works out much cheaper - they can then move into their new house once the summer is over.

Many storage companies offer a collection and delivery service so that the student doesn't have to worry about transporting their possessions to and from the storage unit. **End Summary** Topics: secure storage cheap storage relocating storage units moving home
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching cheap storage and value storage

The Pros Of Secure Storage Units

If your house is up for sale and you have had an offer you can't refuse, but you have not yet found your ideal home you will be left with a dilemma. You may find that you have found somewhere or someone to stay with until you find your ideal home but unfortunately your furniture hasn't.

This is where storage units become extremely handy. You have the option of storing as much or little as you like for any amount of time - although the minimum storage time is often one week.

You can store anything from large pieces of furniture to small personal belongings. Make sure that you carefully box up your household items so that they are protected from any knocks. Some storage companies offer a professional packaging service to save you the hassle of boxing everything up. However, it is likely that you will want to organise your own packing so that you know what is in each box.

It is also likely that the storage company will offer a variety of packaging products which are all specially reinforced to ensure that your products remain safe. **End Summary** Topics: secure storage cheap storage relocating storage units moving home
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching cheap storage and value storage

Why People Are Renovating Rather Than Relocating

During the current economic climate many people are deciding to renovate their homes and stay put rather than packing up and moving on. Adding an extension or a conservatory or even redecorating can completely change the dynamic of your home and freshen it up.

However, you may be worried about protecting your furniture during the renovation - this is where a secure storage unit comes in handy.

During the build of your new extension or even when you decorate each room you could pack up all of your household possessions to protect them from any damage, paint splashes, or just to get them out of the way. A clear room will make the whole renovation process much simpler and more efficient.

Some secure storage companies allow you to store items for as little as one week which is ideal when you need things out the way whilst you are decorating.

Decent storage companies often have a collection and delivery service so they can save you the hassle of transporting your goods to and from the storage container. They are also used to handling heavy or fragile objects so your goods will be in safe hands! **End Summary** Topics: cheap storage secure storage home renovation decorating
About the Author:
Tony Hill is an online marketer and researcher who is currently researching cheap storage and value storage

Is Dubai The Place To Live?

Over the past year or so it seems as though Dubai has become the 'it' place to live right now. Dubai has frequented the news on a number of occasions either because of misbehaving expats or because of the lavish lives the rich and famous lead over there - either way it has alerted people to the type of life they could be living themselves.

Dubai has been transformed from sandy dunes and isolate deserts to a millionaires playground. The Dubai skyline is littered with cranes as building companies race to finish their new luxurious developments and British expats move over in their hoards.

Many reports and Dubai businessmen themselves suggest that Dubai is not feeling the effects from the worldwide credit-crunch which is alerting even more people to pack-up their belongings and touch down in Dubai.

There seem to be a lot of job opportunities over there too which is a major factor in alerting people to move over to the middle east - as many people in the UK have been laid off and are desperately hunting down a new job. **End Summary** Topics: international removals dubai travel home moving moving abroad
About the Author:
Tony is an online marketer and researcher currently researching International Removals and moving abroad
