Bathrooms from Hell

Have you ever noticed how many homes have just the most awful bathrooms?
one would imagine the owners complete their ablutions, eyes tightly closed , and totally unaware of their surroundings.

Some people may have a very pleasant lounge , a streamlined kitchen and attractively furnished bedrooms but when it comes to the bathroom it is as if it exists in isolation .

gloomy, depressing, unkempt, neglected and usually cold , these so very necessary areas are sorely in need of a complete makeover. The bathroom experience should be pleasurable, not just something to be got over as quickly as possible because the surroundings are so inhospitable.

In a neglected bathroom, as you enter, the dreary floor covered in out of date uneven tiles sets the tone. Various articles of clothing draped over the shower rail, towels dropped anywhere and of course the plugs for bath and basin are missing. Where are they? Not apparently visible. The lack of necessary objects can prove very frustrating.

Your eye is drawn straight to the chipped, cracked and missing wall tiles, obviously caused by the broken towel rail discovered leaning in a corner. - hence the untidy towels. **End Summary** Topics: bathrooms updating bathrooms gloomy bathrooms renovating bathrooms bathroom tiles bathroom decor attractive bathrooms
About the Author:
Evangeline Auld - co-founder with Hazel Sansom of the Made Easy series of short, reader-friendly e-books on a variety of subjects, including, strangely enough, Bathrooms made Easy. http://www.bathroomsmadeeasy.mizzmouse.com

Sailing - Free as a Bird

To me a bird is synonymous with freedom . A bird is unfettered, wild , triumphant in its superiority over mere mortals who are wedded to the earth. The seabird flying its course, fighting through the gale force wind, knowing it’s purpose. Again, perhaps lazily swooping down over the water in one fluid movement, intent on finding a meal .

Sailing on the water is the only place I feel the joy of being for that period of time as graceful and completely attuned to nature as is the seabird. I am effortlessly proceeding with the flow, not fighting the elements but becoming part of them.

I am unrestrained , enthralled by the wildly, heaving steel grey mountains of raging, surging water. This is worth each risky moment just to face the might and power of the wind and ocean. The exhilaration of sailing is addictive . The continuous restless movement finds an response in my soul - I am only now really alive.

A sudden change from storm to calm. The sun is dancing it’s rays over the water , creating constantly changing colours, now a greenish blue and then a swirling kaleidoscope of brilliant shades . **End Summary** Topics: sailing sailing freedom sailing at sea seabirds sea open sea sail peace when sailing
About the Author:
Evangeline Auld, co-founder with Hazel Sansom of a range of simple, reader-friendly E-books, Made Easy E-books, which, naturally enough, includes Sailing Made Easy. http://www.sailingmadeeasy.mizzmouse.com

Dating and Dumping

Dating, usually, is a mainly pleasurable, happy time. Meeting new friends, finding affection, with compatibility and compatibility is what it’s all about .

Unfortunately, sometimes, after perhaps a good start, things go very wrong, and the hard part comes when trying to disengage from a relationship that is going nowhere . If the other person doesn’t want to call it a day and you don’t wish to be too brutal , here are a few tactics you may like to think about.

Before using them, be advised that, depending on the dumpee’s personality , you might meet some problems along the way! In the examples below, for easy reading , I’ve used ’him’ but it is just as likely to be ’her’.

1. Listen to his jokes and laugh heartily , but always in the inappropriate place, just before the punch line , if possible. If he is telling a joke to a crowd , jump in and give the punch line (preferably incorrectly) before he can announce it himself. Apologise profusely if he complains, but continue doing it again and again.

2. If he is a stickler for punctuality , always be late. Not just slightly, but terribly late, enough to spoil any date. **End Summary** Topics: dating losing a date dumping a date ways to lose a date tactics to lose a lover
About the Author:
Evangeline Auld, co-founder with Hazel Sansom of the range of simple, reader-friendly Made Easy E-books, which, naturally enough, includes Dating made Easy. http://www.datingmadeeasy.mizzmouse.com
