Samsung i900 Omnia Windows Touch on Samsung

Samsung i900 Omnia feels solid with chrome and black casing. The display is flush mounted which means that the screen will not be messed up by fingerprints, which is one of the disadvantages in most of the touch-screen phones. The display is 3.2 inches large and offers good 240 x 400 pixel resolution. Omnia provides a nice touch feedback when you touch the screen. It vibrates shortly to confirm every key press. Unfortunately, this feedback doesn’t always mean your key press was actually accepted and the command is executed.

The display screen is sufficiently bright for most situations and can be set to automatically adjust its brightness based on the amount of ambient light available to save power. The Samsung Omnia Mobile is designed with minimalistic looks hence it has only call & end keys and the optical mouse below the display.

The optical mouse controller has two modes. One is the regular touchpad mode; it can be used in a fashion similar to D-Pad. It allows the user to swipe the finger across in one of the four cardinal directions to move up, down, left or right. **End Summary** Topics: Samsung Omnia Mobile Samsung Omnia Samsung Mobile Phone S
About the Author:
Get cheap Mobile Phones by comparing the latest mobile phone deals at ThePhoneNetwork.co.uk.
Nokia N96 Successor of a Successful Phone

The Nokia N96 as everyone knows is the successor of the most successful Nokia mobile phones ever the N95. Being a descendent of a great phone there was a large amount of expectation from the Nokia N96. Unfortunately the Nokia N96 couldn’t keep up the glory of its predecessor.

The time when Nokia Mobile Phones released Nokia N95, it was the giant in the market, and there wasn’t any potential threat to Nokia N95 in design, features or performance but now the things are totally different. The N96 uses Dual ARM 9 264 MHZ CPU which is a slower than that of N95’s CPU. There doesn’t seem to be any valid reason for this downgrade, though on second thoughts it looks like it was done to improve battery life but the battery life is worse than that of N95. No to worry too much the mediocre battery and the CPU don’t affect the performance of the phone. The user interface is very smooth, quick and just maybe some very demanding application or game can show the difference between the performance of the two mobile phones.

The design of N96 has been inherited from the Nokia N81 and is very attractive; **End Summary** Topics: Nokia Mobile Phones Nokia N96 Nokia N96 Mobile Nokia pay
About the Author:
Get Cheap Mobile Phones by comparing the best mobile phone deals at ThePhoneNetwork.co.uk.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 First of its Kind

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is the first Sony Ericsson mobile to run on Windows Mobile OS and the first one in the X-Series. The construction and build of the phone is very solid and impressive.

This phone weighs around 150 grams, some may feel that it is a little on the heavy side but it is very reasonable when considering the features it offers. Actually, this phone was planned to be released a year ago in the 4th quarter of 2007 or early 2008 but was extremely delayed. The reason for sure a long delay was due to the fact that this phone has some innovative and new features hence they had some real challenges. Anyway the phone is worth the delay and thousands of eyes looking at it eagerly.

The main buttons on the front panel have X theme. 4 buttons are laid out on either side in an inverted diamond fashion. Between the two X themed set of buttons is the touch mouse, it is great for scrolling quickly and is surrounded by the typical D-Pad. A cool feature of Xperia X1 is the 4 independent notification lights that are placed on four corners of X1. **End Summary** Topics: Sony Ericsson Xperia Mobile Sony Ericsson Mobile Phones So
About the Author:
Get Cheap Mobile Phones by comparing the best mobile phone deals at ThePhoneNetwork.co.uk.
Samsung Mobile Phones: The Mobile Phones of the Year

So far the year 2008 has been an exciting year in the mobile phone market with Apple releasing their new iPhone 3G, Nokia with the New N96 and Sony Ericsson releasing a whole host of handsets trying to find something that will make the market buzz but so far with no luck.

You may ask yourself who has taken this yearâ€'s market and without a doubt the answer is Samsung with handset after handset making a real splash in the market.

It all started with is first full touch screen phone the Samsung F480 Tocco boasting such features as a large 2.8 inch touch screen, 7.2 MBPS for high speed data access, a 5 mega pixel camera and at last something to challenge the Nokia N95 with up to 8gb memory.

Samsung Mobile Phones then went from strength to strength with the Samsung Omnia now sporting an even bigger and better 3.2inch touch screen with the ability to display 16:9 aspect for all those widescreen needs not to mention, wi-fi, HSDPA, 3G and a whacking 16gb of memory moving right into to the iPhone territory for data storage. **End Summary** Topics: Cheap Mobile Phones Samsung Mobile Phones mobile phones S
About the Author:
About the Author:
