Should We Gate Content?

"He who wants to do good knocks at the gate; he who loves finds the gate open."Rabindranath Tagore

Content gating, do you know something about it?

Technically, it's that thing you do as an online marketer to force potential clients or prospects to reveal their contact details first in order to get free downloadable content. You literally put up some sort of gate to block any interested person to automatically get free content without getting something in return for it. There is a Latin maxim that can perfectly describe this: quid pro quo, which literally means "this for that" or "something for something."

Content gating is one of the most popular ploys that online marketers or entrepreneurs would use to build their email list. It's a white hat marketing practice but the thing is; it may not really be helping you in your business at all!

Ericka Chikowski wrote an article for the Entrepreneur magazine called, "Why You Shouldn't Wall Off Your Web Content," David Meerman Scott, a marketing strategist, mentioned that marketers who are practicing this kind of content gating are harming their business instead of improving it! **End Summary** Topics: content gating ungated content gated content online marketing techniques
About the Author:
Online Marketer Elmar Sandyck Is Giving Free Online Tips On How To Use <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/online-marketing-techniques/should-we-give-away-content-for-free/">Content Gating</a> .
Why We Should Go Green In Our Online Business

With just the plain and simple fact that we are doing business online is already a clear indication that we are steadily going green. Doing business online means that we are doing things without the use of paper. Just imagine the number of trees that we can save from being cut down and turned to paper just because there is less demand in actual paperwork like printing, photocopying, mailing, and filing that we have now so used to in a traditional business set-up.

When we are doing business online, we store everything in the computer. We can easily go about sending and receiving documents that were just scanned and sent to us/received by us via email. And all of it is stored and filed away conveniently for easy access whenever we need it in the near future. The challenging part, though, is how to keep track of all these files. But, it's all a matter of organization and deserves an entirely different post altogether!

But, how green can you get when doing your internet business?

In an era where doing business online is just not enough; **End Summary** Topics: doing business online green business online entrepreneurial mindset
About the Author:
Did You Know That <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/entrepreneurial-mindset/10-things-to-a-green-business-online/">Doing Business Online</a> Can Help Our Environment?
The Last 5 Good Reasons To Start Writing Articles

Coming down to the last five good reasons to start writing articles, we are finally concluding this post and let me just state at the outset that I really appreciate the comments coming my way.

I especially find the comment of Jack of WebHosting amusing and quite spot on! Of course, when all else fails - you lack the talent, you lack the time - a good alternative would be to just hire a professional writer to do it for you! J

Moving on, here are good reasons numbers 11-15:

11th Good Reason: Entice People With Your Free Information

Who doesn't want anything that's for free? We are all suckers for that. (Pardon the expression!) But, seriously, everytime you offer something that doesn't require any payment, people would just want to avail of it. Nothing to lose for them, really. So, with the free information you are offering through your well-written article, you really invite people to connect with you.

12th Good Reason: Expand Your Reach

One of the commentators for this post, Jayne Kopp, was right when she mentioned that you project yourself as an expert when you start writing articles. **End Summary** Topics: writing articles writing your articles good reasons to start writing articles copywriting
About the Author:
Online Marketer Expert Elmar Sandyck Invites You On A Discussion About The Good Reasons To Start <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/copywriting/the-last-5-good-reasons-to-start-writing-articles/">Writing Articles</a> .

The month of May is the fifth month.

And that is when i realized my love for the number five.

(In fact, I am coming up with my own list of not just one, not even three, but five top commentators for the month of May!)

My last posts were all about the good reasons on why we should start writing articles which I did in lumps of five.

With my unexpected passion for the number five, I poked around the internet and made a few random searches for 5 unique interpretations or facts about it:

One

In the five phases of the manifestations of the Deity, the fifth phase is "Fruit" or the World of Action.

Two

In numerology, having a 5 personality means:

You have no problems in making friends, flexible as well as multi talented, upbeat and inspirational, a good communicator and motivates people around you. You have great verbal skills and you are very dynamic, persuasive, adaptable, versatile and curious, courageous, bright and quick-witted. **End Summary** Topics: top commentators online marketing blog
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck Is An Expert Online Marketer And He Is Going To Give Homage For His&nbsp; <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/online-marketing-blog/the-amazing-top-5-commentators/">Top Five Commentators</a> .

May is almost up and the slow change from spring to summer almost can't be avoided in some places.

This early, I am already conjuring up images of a grand vacation in an island paradise somewhere, probably sipping a cold fruit shake with a cherry on top and decorated with a tiny cocktail umbrella while listening to the rush of the waves.

And I ask myself: If i get too occupied enjoying my vacation, how could i possibly write any compelling content?

Or maybe i should just write about stuffs i did during my vacation and enjoy reading my readers and follower's envious comments about it. (Not a bad idea, if i say so myself?) But, there is the lingering thought of carrying around my laptop computer along to my summer getaway wearing a straw hat, shorts, and sandals that can really put a smudge on the idea.

While my fingers danced around on my computer's keyboard, i found something interesting in a Copyblogger's site, a gem of a blog post that has gotten my mind into thinking some new and exciting ideas! **End Summary** Topics: compelling content copywriting content ideas blogpost online marketing blog
About the Author:
Can You Write <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/online-marketing-blog/compelling-content-ideas-while-on-vacation/">Compelling Content</a> While On Vacation?
Keywords: The Long and Short of It

What to write first?

That's the first dilemma. Of all the many things to write about, narrowing it down to a specific topic can really give you a headache. The Internet is just full of words! Lots and lots of it! When deciding on your topic, it's not enough to just think of one word or keyword.

Have you heard of long-tail keywords? And how is it any different from the short-tailed ones?

In a Marketing Hub article, here's the difference laid out succinctly: "Keywords can be split into two main groups, short tail keywords and long tail keywords, or broad keywords and narrow keywords. The term 'long tail' was coined by Chris Anderson and is used to describe the strategy of targeting less-competitive niche markets rather than the hugely competitive broad keywords. A long tail keyword is something like 'Small Business Web Design' while a short wail keyword is something like 'Web Design'.

Benefiting from the long tail

You may be wondering why anybody would want to target hundreds or thousands of keywords which bring only small traffic. **End Summary** Topics: long tail keywords long-tail keywords keyword research tool market samurai wordtracker keywords keyword research
About the Author:
What Is A <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/keyword-research/2-benefits-of-long-tail-keywords/">Long Tail Keyword</a> ?

If you're familiar with Greek mythology, you will probably remember how gods and goddesses, Titans, and mortals, battle it out for power. Remember how Titans and mortals often defy the gods and goddesses for a glimpse and taste of that almighty power vested upon those seated at Mt. Olympus?

Which brings me to our own modern-day battle of Titans - Google and Facebook. Who is powerful enough to be among the gods?

A lot as been said before, i know that the internet is already full of discussion on who is actually leading in the social network scene. In my opinion, it is still Google. Its encompassing reach especially in the search engine scenario is something that Facebook is wanting. This is notwithstanding the fact that Facebook has teamed up with Microsoft's Bing, integrating the Facebook "likes" into search results late last year. This integration did not really go into Bing's actual algorithm, which means that a Facebook "like" has no effect on Bing's search rankings at all. It was just some sort of social validation tool. Social proof as we called it. **End Summary** Topics: google 1 vs facebook google 1 facebook like social proof social signal social network social media
About the Author:
Expert Online Marketer Elmar Sandyck Is Sharing His Views About Who Will Give A Better User Experiece, <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/social-media/google-1-vs-facebook-like/">Google +1</a> Or Facebook "Like" Find Out All About It By Visiting <a href="http://www.InternetMastermindStrategy.com">http://www.InternetMastermindStrategy.com</a>

I'm not sure if you have already heard this before.

Someone once told me that a good speech (and for our purposes, a good article) is something that you can compare with a perfect dress for a lady - long enough to cover everything and short enough to keep it interesting. And compared to men's clothes, it needs to have everything that is necessary in order to create a dapper chap and have it tailored for a perfect fit.

I'm not really into the who fashion thing and i don't have a clear idea as to what is a good tailor, but the euphemisms related to clothing has gotten my interest for the post that i plan on writing. - writing articles.

For many of us who are into the internet marketing industry , writing articles isn't that hard anymore or are no longer a challenge. In the first place, we do have a website, which just proves to show that we have some written content somewhere that is open for everyone to read. **End Summary** Topics: writing articles article writing blog posts copywriting
About the Author:
Is <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/copywriting/writing-articles-for-a-living/">Writing Articles</a> No Longer A Challenge?
Do You Feel Tiny?

Happy Easter everyone! Did you enjoy your Easter weekend?

I chatted with a niece of mine back in the US and in her animated 4-year old voice she told me that they had an Easter egg-hunting in their school. She managed to hunt some bunnies that were holding Easter egg chocolates. I was so happy to hear her tale when her smile suddenly faded from her face and told me with furrowed eyebrows that she was "tiny." I asked her what does it have to do with Easter egg-hunting? "A lot," is what she told me, "because I couldn't reach it!" (referring to the bunnies). I nervously laughed at first but this eventually got me thinking over the weekends - the first of my Easter weekend reflections - how tiny we feel sometimes.

Tiny means very small; minute; diminutive; little; teeny.

I could have just laughed about my niece's predicament and dismissed it off hand but maybe it's because I am already "big" that I couldn't relate to being "tiny" like her anymore. **End Summary** Topics: overcoming limiting beliefs easter weekend reflection entrepreneurial mindset
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck Invites You To Share Some Of Your <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/entrepreneurial-mindset/my-easter-weekend-reflection/">Easter Weekend Reflection</a> .
The Twitter Phenomenon

You're probably wondering what's the point in the imaginary Twitter QA that i did on my previous post.

Well, I just wanted to get your attention and also to show you a world of what is now happening in the land of Twitter . And, if you go over the statistics below as originally posted in Fresh Networks, you will see why Twitter is growing by the numbers.

"Twitter is growing both in terms of users, the number of messages being created and the importance that people place on the service.

In a recent presentation from Raffi Krikorian, Twitter's lead on Application Services, we got an idea as tohow Twitter is being used and some current statistics. The most interesting of these are just below, and the full presentation can be found at the end of this post.

There are currently 110 million tweets per day coming from the 200 million registered Twitter users.

The current rate of tweeting is 1,200 Tweets per second (tps), but these numbers increase during dramatically important events. **End Summary** Topics: twitter is growing twitter twitter density map social media
About the Author:
Online Expert Marketer Elmar Sandyck Is Sharing Some Statistics About <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/social-media/twitter-is-growing/">Twitter</a> That Might Get Your Attention.
What's Your Mix?

Almost everyone seems to be fascinated with social media and what it offers - connections. It is this same offering of connections that I feel will interest you into knowing more about yourself and the people that you meet in social media sites.

I recently took an online quiz about the four temperaments - choleric, sanguine, melancholic, and phlegmatic - as I was just curious to know what my temperaments are. I became curious since a teacher friend of mine uses this gauge to know what kind of students he have and how he could make his classes more interesting and exciting and to also find the best methods to discipline a child according to their temperaments! And he has around 30 students!

While thinking, i realized that we could somehow find out more about the people we are connecting with, either through social media sites, face to face, or through the different personality traits they are giving off according to their temperaments.

The word "temperament" itself comes from Latin word "temperare," which means "to mix. **End Summary** Topics: temperaments social media marketing psychology
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck Believes That You Can Better Identify People You Are Connecting With Through Their <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/marketing-psychology/knowing-yourself-through-the-temperaments/">Temperaments</a> .
Google Responds To Social Signals As A Ranking Factor

It's a fact that the blogosphere is shifting... again. And you probably thought you've sorted everything out right? Apparently, everything seems to be up in arms against the giant that is Google. And Google is responding.

Social signals.

Once again, Google is apparently trying to tweak some changes into its ranking factor. (Ranking factor, of course, refers to ranking in search engines and has something to do with search engine optimization (SEO)). Google will now give more importance to social sites, using data from social sites like Facebook and Twitter as a ranking factor (i.e., Twitter Retweets and Facebook Likes). Google is seriously considering the fact that Twitter retweets may be the new linking system and is a new form of building links.

Author authority.

Content that is being shared around on Twitter becomes popular and its ability to be retweeted again and again has something to do with the credibility/popularity of the person who retweets a link or other content. So, even if your content is retweeted over and over but the ones retweeting it are not really persons of influence, content being retweeted has no bearing. So, Google is actually measuring influence, so to speak. **End Summary** Topics: social signals author authority ranking factors search engine optimization social media ranking factor google ranking factors targeted website traffic
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck Highly Recommends To Check Out Social Signals And Author Authority As <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/targeted-website-traffic/google-responds-to-social-signals-as-a-ranking-factor/">Ranking Factors</a> In Google To Build A Successful Online Business.
Boxed Out For Life

I am very much inspired by a book that I am currently reading.

"Out of the Box for Life: Being Free Is Just A Choice" written by Warren Berland, PH.D. talks about how we can escape from the prison walls that we ourselves built.

In the Getting Out of the Box" chapter, the author showed several stories on how certain people overcame their boxed life. According to Berland, "any and all limiting beliefs are a sign of being in the box. When we experience these beliefs, we feel trapped in an image of ourselves as unworthy and unable to do anything about our situation. In reality we are looking at ourselves, like any other, through a dark lens that colors everything we see, think, and feel. There is no way out if this difficulty unless we realize what we are doing. Once we do, we can correct our mistaken perceptions and respond more appropriately to any situation." Powerless to change.

I think this is the thing that really makes us live a life inside the box. **End Summary** Topics: out of the box limiting beliefs marketing psychology
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck, An Expert Online Marketer, Is Sharing Some Great Tips And Advices On Living Life <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/marketing-psychology/living-a-life-out-of-the-box/">Out Of The Box</a> .
With the much-ballyhooed social media making "followers" of us all (I am of course referring to Facebook and Twitter and other similar entities), I am reminded of one of my favorite short stories; Italo Calvino's "The Man Who Shouted Teresa."

In this story, a man was seen shouting the name "Teresa!" several times and later on someone joined him and helped him shout. Eventually, more and more passers-by were curious as to why he couldn't be heard by the girl he calls Teresa that they all helped him shout very loud. Last count was probably around 20 people helping him shout. And then someone asked, and I quote:

"But are you sure she is home?" "No," I said. "That is bad," another said. "Forgotten your key, have you?" "Actually," I said, "I have my key." "So," they asked, "why don't you go on up?" "I don't live here," I answered. "I live on the other side of town." "Well, then, excuse my curiosity," the one with the freckled voice asked, "but who lives here?" "I really wouldn't know," I said. **End Summary** Topics: social networking followers follower twitter facebook social media
About the Author:
How Important Is <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/social-media/are-you-a-follower/">Social Media</a> ?
I don't know about you but I am greatly devastated by what's happening in the world today. Ominous. Like the end of the world is upon us.

What does the series of world events of late - the civil wars in Egypt, Libya, and other neighboring countries; and the natural disasters in New Zealand and Japan - tell us?

Is the end of the world near?

There are so many prophecies cropping up now trying to insinuate that these events are actually precursors of the worst that is yet to come. Could it be a series of trials that are given to us as a prerequisite to a greater deluge that is yet to happen? Even at the magnitude of damage and destruction that we have seen, could this be still a minute thing compared to what is going to happen in the near future?

I know that in one way or another, we are all affected by what has happened in these countries. We could have family and friends living or working in these countries. And, who's to say we're that safe where we are right now? Maybe it's not yet our turn. **End Summary** Topics: empowered online entrepreneur end of the world marketing psychology
About the Author:
Is The <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/marketing-psychology/getting-personal-is-the-end-of-the-world-near/">End Of The World</a> Near?
2 Things To Remember About Being A True Entrepreneur

There are entrepreneurs and there are true entrepreneurs.

In business, the true entrepreneur always has an advanced set of skills that sets him or her apart from the rest. These one-of-a-kind traits make him achieve more than the average businessman and thus he can still manage to do things that he needs to do and could even spare the time to fully experience more of what life has to offer. A true entrepreneur, in a sense, is living a balanced life.

Having the required skill-set that lends to success is a given. The true entrepreneur should likewise possess the requisite characteristics of an entrepreneur, which should include the one trait that could spell the difference between success and failure: perseverance.

Perseverance is defined as the steadfast pursuit of an objective. It is synonymous to persistence, determination, resolution, firmness, staying power, endurance. A true entrepreneur knows that when he or she is just starting out, there will always be challenges and obstacles that will get in the way to making it big in the business. Thus, it is the persevering entrepreneur that carries on until the end that truly stays in and ahead of the game. **End Summary** Topics: true entrepreneur mindset persevering entrepreneur entrepreneurial mindset
About the Author:
What Makes You A <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/entrepreneurial-mindset/2-things-to-remember-about-being-a-true-entrepreneur/">True Entrepreneur</a> ?
Do You Form Real Friendships in Facebook?

These are my thoughts about friendship after i watched the movie, "The Social Network," about the early days of Facebook and how Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin eventually lost their friendship.

Let me begin by making this sweeping statement: You can't choose your family but you can definitely choose your friends.

Really leaves nothing much to be desired within your family circle as you need to put up with them and all their eccentricities. But, of course, you love them anyway because they're family! It's the blood that runs through your veins that keeps you connected.

With friends, however, the forces of nature have been balanced and you are finally given the chance to choose persons with whom you can freely associate with. It's not imposed but out of your own free will. Choosing friends is your ultimate gauge to freedom and independence.

There are actually a number of theories, discussions, dialectics, songs, poems, and stories about true and lasting friendships and one common thread that weaves through all of these is the fact that in one way or another, we see a little bit of ourselves in them and vice-versa. **End Summary** Topics: the social network mark zuckerberg friendship social media
About the Author:
Did <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/social-media/do-you-form-real-friendships-in-facebook/">Mark Zuckerberg</a> And Eduardo Saverin, Eventually Loose Their Friendship?

Nowadays there are a lot of opportunities available for people to make money online. If you are willing to work hard, there are no reasons why you can't make either a part time or full time income online.

Online shopping carts are a very popular way to profit online from home. You can either sell your own or somebody else's unwanted goods, or you could make use of E-Bay as an online selling platform. Lots of people also make use of free classified sites like gum tree or US free ads.

A far less complicated way to make money online is the use of affiliate marketing. This is the fastest and easiest way to start an online business. An affiliate program is basically a reward system implemented by site owners with the intention to either drive additional traffic to their site, gain new and potential customers, grow their own brand awareness or to sell their products.

By joining an affiliate program as an affiliate you are rewarded in the form of cash for referring traffic to the affiliates site. If the potential customer takes action in the form of making a transaction or leaving their details, you are then rewarded. **End Summary** Topics: the elevation group investing mlm money wisely investing money wisely mlm training
About the Author:
For more on <a href="http://profitonlinefromhome.com/recommends/category/ways-to-profit-online-from-home">Making a Profit Online</a> , Click <a href="http://profitonlinefromhome.com/recommends/category/ways-to-profit-online-from-home">Here</a> .

Og Mandino and his legendary books on how to achieve success existed long before the success gurus, life coaches, and motivational speakers and movers that we know now appeared.

OgMandino was a great inspirational writer and is responsible for a lot of good books outlining the secrets to one's personal and financial success. His most popular books were "The Greatest Salesman in the World" and "The Greatest Secret in the World."

I am fortunate to have these books in my collection. His books still wields magic even after all these years.

And so it can be told that on one evening, I was feeling bored, tired, and yes, oh so lazy, that as I was looking for a book to re-read at home, Og Mandino's "The Greatest Secret in the World," fell on the floor. What was so astonishing was when I flipped through the pages; I stumbled upon The Scroll Marked IX.

My dreams, plans, and goals, all are worthless. Unless followed by action, everything has no importance. I will act now.

Wow.

Pause.

Wow.

These first few sentences from Scroll Marked IX were so powerful that I swear I heard my heart pounding so hard! **End Summary** Topics: how to achieve success achieve success greatest secret to success secret to success
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck Has Established A Profitable Internet Business And Shares Some Tips On <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/marketing-psychology/og-mandino%E2%80%99s-greatest-secret-to-success-is-no-secret/">How To Achieve Success</a> In Online Network Marketing Business Using The Things He Learned From http://www.InternetMastermindSecrets.com

Ask and be answered.

Test me, I will try it.

Provoke me, I will retaliate.

I will do what you want me to do.

I want to prove to you that i can, not because i agree with you.

Can.

Yes, that's the operative word: Can.

In overcoming limiting beliefs about ourselves, "can" is the most powerful word that could hurdle all the blocks that limit success.

We Can, If We Will

Most of us may not know it yet but we have the power to be able to do a number of things that we initially think is impossible to do at the first instance. So if we think we can't, then we really can't. What we think of ourselves is really a crucial way in determining what we could actually do. We can't do, only because we think we can't.

Sky's The Limit

Just like this famous expression, what we are capable of doing is limitless. Come to think of it, even the skies are no limit as the skies are frontiers that we have already explored as well. Think of the Wright Brothers. **End Summary** Topics: overcoming limiting beliefs entrepreneur mindset overcoming limiting belief
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck Is An Expert Internet Marketer And He Shares Some Ways In

Stanford Study Shows Media Multitaskers Aren't Smart

I must say I am a guilty media multitasker.

I can't help it!

In my own simple way, especially in how I deal with my personal effectiveness, I handle a number of things all at the same time. While on the phone, I sometimes send a text message, send an email, and surf the net, simultaneously. It's really a good thing that I'm not really into watching TV, otherwise, this would complete my label as a media multitasker par excellence!

I was actually comfortable in my own skin as a media-multitasker until now. I pride myself in accomplishing a lot of things in so little time. The thing with this label, however, is that it is now synonymous to - tadah! - stupid!

S.T.U.P.I.D.

Ouch.

It's like hearing the sound of fingernails scratching the blackboard. There goes my quest for personal effectiveness! And now I just realized that I may not be as effective as I think I am!

But, seriously, there's a study and proof to support the claim that media multitasking can actually impair our cognitive control and abilities.

The Stanford University Study

"They're suckers for irrelevancy. Everything distracts them. **End Summary** Topics: media multitasker media multitasking multitasking Media-Multitask personal effectiveness
About the Author:
What Do You Think Of <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/time-management/do-less-accomplish-more-3-reasons-why-we-shouldn%E2%80%99t-media-multitask/">Media Multitasking</a> Hindering Personal Effectiveness?
Blog Mastery Award: Paying Kindness Forward

I must say I am no genius.

Not in the Picasso-kind of genius where I show no mercy in giving up everyone close to me for the sake of my art or passion; to which my glory is largely dependent on.

No. Far from it.

Oftentimes, I just see myself as an average man - a man with a purpose, a vision, a goal, and a tale to tell, but, still, nothing extraordinary.

But, genius or no genius, honor was given upon me as if I were one!

An Enlightening Experience!

I recently received honour from Enlightened Networker's Ilka Flood, an esteemed colleague in the online MLM industry, for deeming me worthy enough to earn a nomination in the Blog Mastery Award! She actually branded my website, Empowered Online Entrepreneurs, as part of her top ten list of blogs that provide valuable content! More than the nomination, I am actually wholeheartedly touched by the significant honour to be touted as one of the best from someone whom I truly respect, admire, and likewise support in the bid for the same award! **End Summary** Topics: blog mastery award pay it forward
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck Invites You To Check The 10 <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/online-marketing-blog/blog-mastery-award-paying-kindness-forward/">Blog Mastery Award</a> Winners.
Deciphering Shakespeare's Keywords for SEO

If the famous wordsmith William Shakespeare were living today, what would be his relevant keywords?

I had some thinking the other day about how the advent of technology has greatly changed the writing landscape. Gone are the days of just writing for the sheer pleasure of creating something. All you needed was a pen and a paper, or a typewriter, and some precious time away from everything else.

But now, as Google has dominated every inch of the internet world, truth be told, that we are somehow subject to its dictates and commands. Google has spawned the phenomenon that is search engine optimization or SEO and it is a well-oiled machinery that involves keywords.

Keywords are words that makeup a sentence that if repeated often enough in one article, can truly increase the chances of your article being found by the search engines like Google. Everybody wants to be found in the SEO world.

Which goes back to my question:

If the well known playwright William Shakespeare was alive, what would his relevant keywords for SEO be? **End Summary** Topics: relevant keywords finding relevant keywords keyword research
About the Author:
Elmar Sandyck Recognizes The Importance of <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/keyword-research/learning-from-shakespeare-your-guide-to-relevant-keywords/">Relevant Keywords</a> To Build A Successful Online Business.
Relevance, First Golden Rule On Keyword Research

I am a Market Samurai student.

I've been talking about it for a long time and i haven't done a thorough discussion about the four golden rules on keyword research with you yet. It's such a helpful tool that I'd rather share with you some of it's highlighted features than do something else. Comprehensive as it is, I have finally decided to break it into four separate parts comprising a series.

Last week, I premised this discussion about Shakespeare's keywords and I hope that that was enough to titillate you into reading more about the fascinating world of keyword research. Without further delay, here's the first golden rule:

Set out to identify the keywords

that are most RELEVANT to the content on your website.

Relevance is synonymous to appropriateness, pertinence, connection, relation, and significance. Thus, in searching for keywords for your website, you must always bear in mind that it is related or has reference to what you and your company is all about.

Appeal to your target audience using the simplest language possible. Refrain from highfalutin words that just confound the mind like conflagration and inundation when you could've just simply said fire and flood. **End Summary** Topics: relevant keywords finding relevant keywords keyword research
About the Author:
Have You Come Up With Ways To Find <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/keyword-research/first-golden-rule-on-keyword-research-relevance/">Relevant Keywords</a> On Your Website?
A Copywriter's Secret: How To Keep Your Mind Flowing For Writing

Writer's block.

If you're a blogger or copywriter like me, this is the most dreaded thing that could happen to you. It's that particular state where there's just absolutely nothing that comes to mind!

Imagine holding a pen with a piece of paper in front of you or imagine facing the computer screen with your fingers already on the keyboards and yet all you see is that blank piece of paper or the blinking computer screen.

It seems that everything just came to a halt and while the clock is ticking, you just don't see yourself moving. You're at a standstill. At times you are so tempted to give your head a beating but well, that would be very painful, so you just end up a frustrated copywriter.

Uninspired.

That's how I would really put it. When you lack inspiration, you stumble and come to a copywriter's block.

What to do?

Break copywriter's block.

Here are some things to do according to Ben Settle as mentioned in his Million Dollar Copywriting Secrets course:

1. Read anything.

Be a voracious reader! Reading is food for the brain. **End Summary** Topics: break copywriters block copywriters block writers block
About the Author:
Do You Want To <a href="http://empoweredonlineentrepreneurs.com/copywriting/4-easy-steps-to-break-copywriter%E2%80%99s-block/">Break Copywriter's Block</a> ?
