I was unfortunate in the sense that I was a late bloomer when it came to the Half-Life franchise. I really have been disappointed in Keanu Reeves. He has the emotional acting range of a mannequin, except a mannequin is capable of having a smile on its face. He alone is the reason that Matrix Revolution sucked. It was all on him. He has not legitimately acted since 1992 when he did Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, and that role required that he act like a complete and total idiot. Good job. I just really wish he would go away... Ok, so you are probably wondering why I do not like Keanu Reeves, and why I am asking him to please go away. It is actually simple. He has just been cast in the lead role of Spike Spiegel in the upcoming live action adaptation of the popular anime series Cowboy Bebop. Reeves is completely unsuited for the role. Spike is a character that has humor. He is a character that has layers. Whereas Keanu has proven time and time again his inability to act any differently. He consistently uses his stupid monotone voice and stiff acting. Will The Night Of The Living Dead Remake Be As Good As The First

George A. Romero may be one of the luckiest filmmakers in the world. He has managed to craft an entire career out of nothing but movies about Zombies. His popular Dead series is considered the cinematic Bible of how to create a zombie film. The movies have been going for 40 years, and Romero is still at it. However, many have attempted to remake his films, and while the remakes have fared from very well to being considered disasters, one upcoming remake, based on the original Night of the Living Dead, is aiming to show the film in a way it never has been before: in animated form. The film is Night of the Living Dead: Origins. The film will be a 3-D computer animated film. It is currently unknown what the film will look like, whether it will opt for a realistic looking motion capture based style, such as the upcoming A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey, or if it will opt for a cartoony look just to contrast the dark story. Why So Much Entertainment In 2009 Sucks

2008 was a GREAT year. We had the Dark Knight, Iron Man, Hellboy 2, Slumdog Millionaire, and countless other great movies come out. The box office was through the roof. We had some great music, and some great television. And then 2009 and the year has been a constant downhill of absolute suck. If you do not believe me, then let us look through the year so far and how it has sucked. We are going to start with the box office. This summer there was only one big movie. Transformers 2 was the official beginning of the movies of the Summer, and then after it, almost every movie failed to deliver. Sure, District 9 was a critical success, and it has done alright at the box office, but it was nowhere near as big as it was supposed to be. It has barely grossed above the hundred million dollar mark so far. The last shot the summer had at a big blockbuster was the movie GI Joe, but it just did not do as big business as expected, and that is easy to explain in three words: the movie sucked. The New Music Revolutionists NOW

I have been reading a lot lately that many people who grew up from the sixties through the eighties are saying that there has yet to be a music revolution for the generation out there now. There are no rock stars. There are no pop stars. There are simply people out there who are really famous that make music. Their albums sell, but are not causing a revolution like people seem to want. Well, perhaps the revolution is taking place RIGHT NOW and we are all too asleep to notice. Here are some examples of musical acts that may not yet be in their prime, but are definitely about to be. First and foremost is the band Coldplay. I know what you are thinking: Coldplay is already popular! Well, the argument here is not popularity. The point is that Coldplay is one of the most influential bands out there right now, with many saying they are the next U2, but I disagree. Has DC Lost Its Mind If They Lose Rights To Superman Films

The newly formed DC Entertainment from Warner Bros. is set to house all of the characters and entertainment properties based on DC Comics characters. The company is to be used to spearhead both major characters and some of the lesser known characters into other media, but they seem to be completely ignoring their flagship character, Superman. The reason I say this is because despite a Supreme Court Judge stating that if a new Superman film was not filming by 2011, they could potentially lose the rights of the character to the Siegel family, the heirs of one of the original creators of the Man of Steel, the new President of DC Entertainment, Diane Nelson stated that there are currently no plans for a new Superman film. I, for one, find this ridiculous. When Michael Jackson died in June, the music industry suffered immeasurably, and in many ways still is. Controversies that had surrounded Jackson throughout his life, including the child molestation charges he faced in 2005 and rumors even before that, seem to have completely disappeared from the minds of the public, which is most likely for the best. The rest of the industry has been celebrating the life of Jackson, as well, or more appropriately, especially his music. However, the King of Pop has left behind a throne that nobody could possibly ever sit in...right? Well, not necessarily. When Elvis Presley died in the 70s, nobody took the King of Rock's throne, but that was because he was, arguably, the originator of the Rock 'n Roll style (plagiarism and style thievin' accusations aside). You want a Playstation 3. I know what you are probably thinking. You are thinking that you have played an Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii, and that the 360 has a wider selection of games, and the Wii is a lot of fun to play with friends. You are also probably thinking that the $300 price tag of the PS3 is outrageous and makes the system not worth getting. Well, my friend, that is why good old Mr. Geek is here to show you the foolish error of your ways and why a PS3 is soon to be your new entertaining best friend who does not eat all of the potato chips. The first and most important feature of the PS3 is obviously the gaming capabilities. Sure, the 360 has a good selection of games, but it also has that little red ring of death. The Kevin Smith Superman Fiasco

So, with the recent development of DC Entertainment not actively developing a new Superman film, despite a court order saying they have to in order to retain the rights to their flagship character, it leads many to wonder why it is so hard to get films of the Man of Steel off the ground. This is not the first time a Superman film has been put into development hell. Here is what many consider to be the most notorious case of a Superman film being developed. Back in 1997, writer/director Kevin Smith, of Clerks fame, had a meeting with a Warner Bros. executive who offered him the chance to look at one of three scripts. One of those scripts was for a new Superman film entitled Superman Reborn. Smith was immediately interested and was allowed to take the script home to read it, and he then told the executive his thoughts on the script: That it sucked. Is Kevin Smith The New Woody Allen

Way back in 1992, one black and white film that was considered so vulgar it was originally given the dreaded NC-17 rating. However, the film was given an R rating without editing a single frame or word. The film has become a standard of how dialogue should be handled and brought a new brand of comedy to the big screen. That film was Clerks. It was the first film from New Jersey based director Kevin Smith. Smith has been a subject of both a major fanbase as well as numerous controversies, but it is irrefutable that he is one of the most important and prominent directors of our time. I would even go so far as to say he is the new Woody Allen. You may be skeptical, but think about it. Woody Allen has always made films that were dominated by dialogue, and the comedy from that dialogue is considered some of the best ever put in film. Kevin Smith does a similar thing.
