There are many people today that expect someone to hand them every thing without them having to put forth any effort, I am not one of them. I am a working divorced mom who wants to make a better life for my children, that's why I am interested in a career in Medical Transcriptionist (MT). I believe working medical transcription jobs would benefit my family in a manner that I can maintain my current job as a county school bus driver, where I have good medical plan, retirement, and flexibility of work days and hours as well as working as a MT in order to make a better life for us. I became interested in becoming a work at home medical transcriptionist when I decided to become a stay at home mom. I have two children, one under a year of age, and one on the way. Daycare expenses are astronomical. I have been in the working world since I was fifteen years old. I am very proficient in computers and typing. I am excited to share with you why I am eager to begin the journey towards becoming a medical transcriptionist. I have had the pleasure of working with several physicians in three different specialties over the last ten years, in a variety of administrative positions. At the early age of 18, I was hired as a file clerk for a local gastroenterology practice. I quickly learned the terminology relevant to the specialty and soon found that my capabilities allowed for more responsibility in the practice. The Horizon Broadens

Everyone has hopes and dreams to brighten their future, however many of us get tangled in the web of daily life. That, my friends, is where I find myself today. After years of working hard in many different areas, I find myself at a standstill career wise. I am a 33 year old married woman who is about to have her first child and is locked into a small retail business which, due to current trends, does not provide any income yet leaves me with many hours during the day to do things as long as I am physically in the store. In 2000 I graduated from a State University with the hopes and dreams of becoming a career woman and working at a company with a high-paying job. As time went on and I got married, I began having different hopes and dreams...hopes of becoming a mother and staying at home with my babies, but I had no idea how this was going to happen. I Want To Be A Medical Transcriptionist For My Daughter

I have little girl who is a month old, and she is still in the hospital I feel like this is my way to gain a career in order to take care of her. Why I Would Love To Be a Medical Transcriptionist

I have my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am currently working as a Pediatric RN at a large hospital in Dallas, TX. I love general Pediatrics, but my true love is Pediatric Oncology. I love the relationships I develop as a bedside RN (particularly as an oncology nurse) and I love the continuing educational opportunities it provides me. I also value the fact that being a nurse allows me to explore other opportunities as well. I have a full time job already one could say. I'm a mother. This is the main reason I'd like to become a medical transcriptionist. A Job I Can Successfully Master

In recent months my life has taken a tragic downward spiral. My husband and I divorced with no alimony settlement and my son, who owned my home, was incarcerated. I am interested in stay at home jobs. I would like to become a medical transcriptionist because I enjoy typing and working on the computer. I have always supported and sacrificed so that my significant other could have his dreams. Now that we have gone our separated ways I am looking to focus on myself and complete my goals. There are many great reasons for me to become a medical transcriptionist such as it will allow me to work from home and I could enjoy more quality time with my family, we will have an increase in income, we will save money through not commuting or daycare expenses, and I would have job security in this rollercoaster market. I would like to be a medical transcriptionist because I have worked in a hospital setting for the past six years. I am a single mom with a kindergartener. I was told last May, either I stayed after work or they considered that I was walking out. I had told them when I was hired that I was a single mom and my daughter came first. I left work. The next day I enrolled in the local community college. I am a full-time student. I have chosen to be a Sign Language Interpreter. The time frame for this is about three years. Why Do I Want To Become a Medical Transcriptionist?

I have been a full-time wife and mother for the last 20 years. I chose to personally take good care of my family after I resigned from my teaching job after I got married. The last 20 years have been fruitful and now my kids are in college. It is now time for me to look for a job that I could devote my time since my kids are both in school.
