Food Preparation Tips for Healthier Eating

We, as parents always want our child to eat healthy food. We do research about balance diet, vitamins and proper eating habits. However, no matter how healthy the food our children are eating, our children still get sick such as diarrhea, cramping and nausea. This is maybe because we lack knowledge about safety food preparation. With this, here are some essential tips on how to ensure that the food our child is eating is clean and safe:

Before shopping, check for the cleanliness of the area, and be sure that they have the proper license to sell these foods. Observe the hygiene of the sellers and their awareness about health. Although it looks cheaper to buy from roadside stands, it is always healthier to buy from the legitimate ones. This is most applicable when you will buy sea foods such as shrimp and shellfish.

When shopping for food, pick up perishable foods such as meat and fish only after you finished the canned and packaged foods. It is also better if they will be last ones you will shop for. This is to maintain its freshness until you go home.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

First Romance: How Parents Should React

Let us face it; there will come a time that your child will fall in love. Call it puppy love, crush or whatever you want, you must accept it and give proper guidance. Allowing your child to be involved in a boy-girl relationship will depend on your child’s ability to take the responsibility of loving someone. But before doing so, you must also follow some guidelines:

You must know your child. This is the most important factor among them. Having no idea what your child is up to is a big shame on you. Surely, it is not enough that you see your child everyday and work hard to give all the material things your child needs especially during the adolescent years. If you raise your children properly and have a good bonding with them, then there will be no qualms in sharing with you such secrets.

You must know the person. It is very important that you know your child is in love with. To begin with, require your child to tell you who he is courting, or who is courting her. Definitely, that person should visit your house and meet with you decently instead of stalking around.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

How to Drive Safely with your Baby

Driving with your baby can be fun. Parents enjoy driving with their babies because it is such a pleasant view when someone sees your baby on board plus the special bonding that you will experience. However, it can also be a tragic disaster if safety is not being considered. Although no parent would want their baby to have an accident anywhere, sometimes they seem to be satisfied with the safety tips they know. Below are very important tips on how to be safe when driving with your baby.

Let your baby be comfortable. Do not drive when your baby is hungry, thirsty or does not have enough sleep. No matter how you play with him, he will not enjoy the ride if he has problems. Use sun shield for both side and back of your car to avoid your baby to feel discomfort. Dressing your baby depending on the car temperature can also help. If he feels comfortable, you can concentrate on your driving.

Help your baby to enjoy the trip. If he is awake, music can also help your baby to relax.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

How to help a Lonely Child

A lonely child can start as early as four years old, especially when the child is less capable with other children in terms of physical and mental abilities. He will feel rejection and isolation which will prevent him more to socialize. He will enjoy playing alone, and this problem can be brought until he grows older. If this happens, it will be more difficult to solve. Therefore, parents and teachers should start making steps and here are some of them:

Encourage him to befriend a more sociable child. By doing this, your child will likely be influenced by his friend. Although he will find it hard in the beginning, your child will later be following his friend’s actions and his confidence will gradually build up. If you pair him with a lonely child like him, he will not improve.

Pair him with a younger child. Since your child is the older one, he will be the guide and senior which will help your child increase his self-esteem. He will feel the responsibility and he will learn a lot to because his mind will analyze some situation. He will also improve his communication skills.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

How to Manage Multiple Blogs Effectively

Managing a single blog will need your countless effort and focus. Not to mention that you may have other important things to attend to. But what if you decide to have more than one blog? Although you really want to blog about other things you are interested about, you are hesitant to do this because you think that you cannot make it. Being a multiple blog owner myself, I would like to share how I am doing this, and somehow they may also be applicable to you:

Promote them fairly. On each of your blogs, you can show to your readers that you have other blogs by placing their titles with a link, on your sidebars. Once in a while, mention them in one of your articles if applicable. But never promote them directly unless it is related to your post. This will loose the appetite of your visitors and they will never visit again. However, it is not practical to include them in your e-mail or forum signature if you have more than five blogs.

Relate them to each other. If your blogs has totally different topics from each other, it is quite hard to promote them fairly.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

Useful Tips in Effective Article Directory Submission

Submitting quality articles to article directories is another way of increasing traffic and income. Just like submitting your blog to blog directories, it has also some similar restrictions but quite harder. Not that it is difficult to follow, but it requires unique strategies and hard work. Remember that your articles are being distributed to various publishers with different tastes. To understand more what I mean, you may want to check these items:

Correct use of title. The title is the most important since this will be the first thing publishers and search engines will notice. Although there is really nothing with the title “How to be a Guest Blogger” but most quality article directories would rather accept “The Right Time to be a Guest Blogger”. Another thing that makes a title worst is the ALL CAPITAL LETTERS title, as well the use of exclamation point.

Correct grammar and spelling. Most article directories will inform you that the article you submitted articles contains a lot of wrong spelling and grammar. Some of them will not even accept it until corrected.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

How Bloggers can be good Article Journalists

People around the world who turn themselves into bloggers are increasing rapidly. However, the sad part is that blogging is not being regulated the same way newspapers and magazines are. Although there are a lot of blogging experts who are sincere in assisting the new ones, very seldom that we heard of someone teaching how to blog the humane way. Most of us are here focus on how to earn money more than doing it the right way. With this, I would like to share some of my ideas on how to convert simple blogging into a more responsible form of journalism:

Write quality articles only. Although there are common topics being discussed by bloggers,it is how it is being presented that makes it high quality article. Choosing the proper words and format is totally different from just merely creating a post. Just like delivering the news they must also be properly examined and proven correct. Note that blogging is sharing information, not a monkey business.

Blog like a good parent. A good parent will never allow his children to be hurt or even bitten by a single mosquito.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

Guest blogging is another effective way to increase traffic. It opens a window for you to be recognized especially if you are still in the lower rank. It is also a proof that you can be good article maker. However, finding the right time to do it is quite hard because there are a lot of you waiting for the approval of site owners. Therefore, you must analyze yourself first, and here are some useful clues:

You can write well. This is the top requirement among them all. This is how you will be judge. Being very fluent in English is not really a must, but choosing the right words is very essential. Readers have a high expectation and you must attract the readers like the site owner does.

You are an analytical reader. You should put yourself in the shoes of site owners and their followers. Reading a lot can help you to learn the proper words to use, and can gain you a deeper knowledge about the topics you choose to write. It really helps if you are a wide reader.

You must be creative.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

How To Improve Your Blogging Strategy

In any activity that you are into, you want to be great if not the greatest. In blogging, there might be than more than tens of thousands bloggers who have the same topic as yours, and it feels quite frustrating that you think you already did your best, but still the results are unsatisfactory. So if you feel that your strategy needs improvement, here are some of my advices I think would be applicable.

Focus on a single agenda. There may be a lot of activities in your mind but you must know your priority and focus on it. If you want to blog about making money on line, avoid reading blogs about cats even if you are a cat lover. This will divide your attention and time.

Make a concrete plan. In making a plan on what to do, make it a concrete one. A plan is will never work if it does not have sufficient data, detailed activities and target date of accomplishment. But make sure it is attainable.

Write your plan.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

Useful Tips for Effective Directory Submission

Submitting your site or blog to directories can help you a lot to earn more traffic, especially if you have the right keywords and useful contents. However, if you submit it the wrong way, chances are you will be just wasting your time. With this, you may want to check out these useful tips before doing such

Browse each directory before submission. Read and understand the guidelines very carefully and follow them. Some directories require different length of description from the others. Use the keywords properly and not just to attract search engines. Remember that the directory editor who will approve your blog is also human like you, who get annoyed when something is not right.

Choosing the most appropriate category is very essential. If you think that you already found the right category, view the sites that are listed there. You must find the sites that have the almost the same topic that your site has. If you submit your site to the wrong category, your site will be transferred to another category which is not that related to your site content and therefore it will be hard to search.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
Problems when you marry your Best Friend

Many would think that marrying a best friend has a better chance to be successful, mainly because friends are like diamonds, they are forever. While this can be true, marriage is very much different with friendship. So before assuming that you are very lucky to be married to your best friend, I suggest you check out these potential problems that may arise:

Wrong feelings. It looks like very rewarding that you have the best of both worlds: friendship and love. However, you may be just confused with your feelings. Loving each other is totally different with being in love with each other. You have to talk about it seriously to make sure that you know what you will be up to. If you fail to do so, you will loose your best friend which is very painful.

Shorter period of adjustment. While it is true that knowing each other very well can help a marriage to be successful, it may also be the other way around. Take note that you will now be living in one roof, and there are still some details that you do not know about each other while you were still friends.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
How to Handle Professional Rivalry with your Spouse

It is common for some college schoolmates to end up marrying one another. This is because they have one thing in common, their interest of profession. Doctor, lawyers, and engineers are some of the professionals who have their spouses in the same field of work. Although this is advantageous to a relationship, here are some problems that may arise and what to do about it:

Professional Jealousy. Time may come that one of you will be promoted to a higher position which means the other spouse will be left behind, and will create a jealousy somehow. This problem often happens when the wife got promoted first. If this happens, it does not mean you are a loser, it means you are a good inspiration to your wife. It is this time that she needs more support from you. Getting promoted means greater responsibilities.

Less quality time. Even if you are in the same office, quality time will still be lesser with her. This is because even if you are together, your mind will be more concentrated to your work.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
What Children Do Not Want From Their Parents

If there are some things we do not want our children to do, there are also some things our children do not want us to do. This logic is not being realized by some parents because they think that they are intelligent enough and know everything about being good. Parenting is not a one-sided relationship, but rather a two-way street where both of you could smoothly pass. To realize what I am trying to say, view these points and see what you might be missing:

Broken promises. Sometimes we make a promise that you are going to buy his favorite toy if he will do well in school. But when the time comes, we have a lot of excuses. This bad attitude of ours will stick into his mind and whenever you make a promise again, he will not believe you anymore. Do not tell your child what you are not sure you can do. It will hurt him deep inside.

Overprotective. No parent wants his child be hurt, not even by a mosquito bite. But as our child grows up, he wants to discover things on his own.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
Meeting The Parents

Let us say you are in a serious relationship and now in the marrying stage, but you have not yet meet your future in-laws due to some valid reasons. Although your sweetheart has already told his/her parents about you, and vice versa, they still want to meet you before you get married. Now that they are just waiting for you to meet them, here are some things I suggest you to do:

Before the Meeting:

1.0 Do not meet them if you just came from work the whole day. You will look haggard no matter how to fix yourself. It is better if you are as fresh as you can be when you present yourself.

2.0 Prepare nice clothes to wear. You do not need to buy a new one, just make sure it is decent and appropriate for the occasion but comfortable to you. If they are from another country, it is better if you somehow embrace their culture.

Practical Tips for First Time Mothers

Being a parent for the first time is exciting, and also scaring at the same time. While you are very happy to take care of your own child, just merely holding her tiny fingers can hurt her. You may be learned some of safety tips, as well as had guidance from your parents and friends; but it is totally different when you are already alone. Being a father of two, I would like to share my wife’s own experience and other practical tips we learned about being a first time mother:

Use your mother instinct. All mothers have this, including animals so therefore, you have to use it. This means that although you must not always have to buy a parenting book just to know everything about parenting. There will be emergency cases wherein you should act very quickly. You must trust your feelings even though others may tell that it is just a simple problem. However, you should not panic because it will only worsen the situation.

Do not stop learning. Being a mother is an everyday learning, so make the most out of it. Do not just rely on one book for your resources.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
How to Make your Child Stay Home Without Forcing them

When your teenagers start having friends within your community, or have close classmates with the same gender or not, they will be leaving your house regularly. They will even go straight to other places instead of going home. The more you tell them to stay home, you more they will not follow you. They will also tend to make stories just to leave the house. Though this is quite normal for them, you must be a keen observer because they may have some problems you do not realize:

There is no one in the house he can talk to. Not that he is the only child, but because both parents are working and his siblings are not within his age bracket or he/she is not close to your maids. Working parents should balance their time. They should know who they are working for, that is, their children.

Your house is a mess, disorganize and a lot of unnecessary things that are eyesore to your child. If this is so, you better start re-arranging your things and your child will even be happy to help you. You do not need to have a very beautiful house to do this.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
How to Have the Best Nanny

Sometimes we need to have a nanny to help us in taking care of our children. Nannies are common in a family where the mother is working to earn a living. However, here are very important steps to be followed to have the best ones:

HISTORY: Nothing is better than to know her history and background. It is advisable to get from an agency rather than just someone who has been being recommended by a friend or neighbor. Though it may cost a bit, you can be sure that the nanny you got had passed the criteria a nanny must possessed. If she had past experiences, it would be better if you ask her previous employer about her performance. You can also verify her records from the police department or any other related government office. It is better that she is also a mother or has younger siblings that she took care of.

INTERVIEW: Just like any other job, you must interview her before you hire. Although she already passed the agency’s requirements, you are the parent and therefore you must know her first before you entrust your child to her.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
What Makes a Blogger Quit

Blogging is not as easy as non-bloggers would think. It is not the usual type of career that anyone can just stay alive without problems. Although it is not quite obvious, blogging has many obstructions too. A blogger may not have a boss to satisfy, no dress code to follow, and no time limit to work; there are still some bloggers who decided to quit. Here are some of the reasons why:

Too many interests. Bloggers with many interests can have a problem in terms of priority. Instead of focusing on a particular niche topic, he likes to blog about many things. Since he cannot handle the pressure of managing too many blogs, he feels exhausted and then quit. Now, he only prefers collecting different information. A blogger cannot be Jack-of-all-Trades because he will be Master of Nothing.

Lack of time. This is common to working bloggers like me. It is very difficult to balance your time to work and time to blog; and if you have a family, a quality time for them. Some bloggers are even required to extend some hours to work in the office, which gives him lesser time to blog.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.

Comments are feedbacks from your readers, and a post without a comment is like a post that nobody has read. It is also the living proof that your post is interesting to comment on. It is quite frustrating to learn that your hard work has seem to vanish in thin air just like that, and this might stop you from making your next post as good as the previous one. With this, consider these tips on how to make your readers interact with you:

Make your post attractive. Besides making a good post, making it attractive to your readers is like inviting them to post a comment. There are a lot of ways on how to post a good post which includes making it readable, addition of related pictures and minimal grammar and spelling mistakes. This will help your readers feel that you are sincere with them.

Invite them. Besides your conclusion for your post, you can invite them to post their comments and suggestions in your footnote. Be humble when you do it.
How To Reply On Comments

Comments, whether good or bad means that the reader took time to give their views on your posts. It also means that your posts have been reviewed carefully and the reader found it interesting to comment on. Therefore it is your responsibility to reply, and such replies are so important to readers. Moreover, here are some useful tips:

If the comment looks sarcastic, do not do the same. Be calm while explaining your side, and pacify him. If he continues to, then you can block his future comments. However, do not forget to thank him; he viewed your site anyway.

If the comment is out of topic or asking a non-related issue, reply still. Answer his question then lead him to a proper forum where he can get more discussions. But do not be offensive; he might just do not know where to ask.

If the comment is to correct your mistake, be humble. Say sorry and thank him for the advice he gave you instead of ignoring it. Then post a reply to correct your mistake. But you may do some research before making another mistake.

If the comment is rewarding, be enthusiastic about it.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
The Three Major Purposes of Bloggers

There are millions and millions of bloggers around the world. Although some have quit, more are coming having different purposes. But there are only three of them that make bloggers stay alive:

To learn: There is neither educational nor civil status requirement in blogging. Anyone who knows how to read and write has an equal chance of learning. One must be eager to learn about anything and everything about blogging. Although there are millions of sites that you can have as references, it is the learning capabilities that will help you to be successful. Besides visiting sites, you can also learn from asking. There are forums wherein gurus, probloggers and even neophytes who will answer your questions. Learning is a non-stop process and you cannot achieve it without patience, skills and help from others. If you stop learning, then you stop blogging.

To share: If you do not share what you have learned, you will not get visitors. Visitors or readers are the most important people to bloggers. They will keep coming back to sites where they learned so much. If the content is stagnant or useless to them, they can always find a better one.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
Things You Should Know Before You Blog

When somebody learned that blogging seems to be interesting, they start at once. Although it is really easy to start, but problems will arise as you go along. Before you know it, you get bored and confused then quit. However, just like any activity or business, blogging needs planning and a little bit of feasibility. Here are some things you should know before you blog:

Know the system. Understand how blogs work. You can start by reading blogs and analyze how most of them look like. Learn the different styles of blogs and discover what suits your taste and topic. The more blogs you read the more choices you will have. However, read only what you can understand. Do not be overwhelmed of the complicated blogs. Anyway, you could do better someday when you get familiar with the system. But you must start from the basic, just like others did.

Know the rules. You must know the do’s and don’ts. Do not just join in anything that you see. You might get banned for some mistake that you do not know. There are FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and HELP windows where you can use as a guide.** End Summary**
About the Author:
I am a Filipino engineer who recently found himself more comfortable in writing letters instead of numbers, and interacting with humans rather than machines.
