Consumers Advised To Check Credit Report Ahead Of Remortgage

Homeowners need to take steps to safeguard their financial future, it has been suggested.

According to Experian, those Britons who are looking to remortgage their property in the months to come as their fixed-rate deals expire are set to find that such a process becomes increasingly hard. These predicted difficulties were attributed to moves by numerous loan lenders to tighten up their borrowing criteria and withdraw competitively-priced products from the market due to the impact of the credit crunch. With this taking place on an "almost daily basis", consumers are reported to be facing a "mortgage freeze". As such, it was stated to be more crucial than ever that homeowners take the time to make sure their credit history is in the best shape as possible.

In an attempt to present their financial history in the most favourable light, borrowers were urged to make sure that any previous arrears and debts have been paid off in full. Meanwhile, consumers who have developed problems with making repayments in the past were advised to state the reasons why such difficulties appear on their report. **End Summary** Topics: consumersadvised.to.check.credit report ahead of mortgage loans secured loan application bad credit
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for secured personal loans online , we also specialise in bad credit secured loans for UK residents.

The availability of cheap secured loans is beginning to fall, it has been suggested.

According to Samantha Owens, head of personal finance for Moneyfacts, rates on some 27 personal loans products have been modified over the course of this year - with the majority of these changes shown to be increasing the amount of interest charged. Ms Owens pointed to research carried out by the financial publication indicating that those taking out a personal loan of 5,000 pounds from Blackhorse have found their repayments increased by 386 pounds during the past 12 months. At present those taking out a loan from the provider will end up repaying 6,312 pounds and 96 pence over a three-year period, however in March last year this stood at 5,927 pounds and four pence.

The study also revealed that a total of 12 money lenders, including Norwich Union, Morgan Stanley and GE Money, have withdrawn from the personal loan market over the course of the past year. **End Summary** Topics: more lenders changing loans products less availablity cheap UK finance credit loan secured personal
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .
More People 'Concerned About Damaging Credit Rating'

Millions of Britons are concerned that they have damaged their financial rating beyond repair as a result of developing problems in managing their money, new figures have suggested.

In a study conducted by Axa, some four million Britons believe that difficulties in handling their finances, in areas ranging from making loan repayments to paying mortgage or rent costs, have seen them develop an adverse credit status. About a quarter of these people (944,000) claim that their financial history has been spoiled as a result of the fiscal struggles that supporting their friends and family has generated.

However, it was suggested that more people could develop financial problems following the government announcement that 25 million personal data records from the HM Revenue & Customs were recently lost in the post. This could see many Britons open to identify theft, which in turn could damage their credit records. As a result of developing an impaired financial record, people could find that they struggle to get jobs, open up current accounts or successfully apply for a cheap loan. In turn, those looking to borrow could be more likely to opt for a bad credit loan. **End Summary** Topics: financial problems ahead after loss of personal data government bad credit finance credit record uk
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .
'Huge Spike' Noted In Brits Struggling With Money In January

Overspending during the Christmas period is to see an increasing number of people look for help in managing their money, a consumer body has suggested.

According to the Legal Services Commission (LSC), the weeks immediately following the previous festive season witnessed a rise in the levels of Britons struggling to get to grips with the various constraints on their spending. Meanwhile, research from the government-backed institution indicated that the numbers of people with problems in handling their finances could rise this year, as consumers have already spent some 564 pounds on yuletide food, drink and decorations.

This, the commission claims, will see a number of last-minute Britons \"turn out in force\" as they look to buy all their gifts in the run-up to December 25th. In turn, this could see such people come under strain when managing the likes of personal loans, credit card statements and household bills in the new year. For those looking to reduce pressure on their finances as the festive period rapidly approaches, however, applying for a debt consolidation loan could be a good idea. **End Summary** Topics: financial problems set to affect more people january consolidate debt debt consolidation loans loan
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for personal loans online, and also focuses on secured loans for UK residents.
People Need To Get 'Finances In Peak Condition'

The majority of Britons are in a poor monetary condition, new figures show.

In a recent financial fitness study conducted by Abbey, just one out of 100 people are currently in their peak financial state in terms of the various financial products they have. This could include loans and savings accounts - and their competitiveness, in addition to their capacity to shop around for good deals. According to the firm, a zero score means that a person is \"financially fit\", with 100 being the fiscal equivalent of obesity. Overall, some 43 per cent of consumers are \'overweight\'.

Overall, the typical woman is 46 per cent overweight when managing money. Some 31 per cent of females have a good mortgage deal, with one in four failing to shop around when selecting insurance cover. In addition, 70 per cent either have no savings or just enough money to keep up their standard of living for no more than three months.

Consequently, many of such consumers may find that they develop problems in managing expenses such as loans, utility bills and plastic card payments should their income unexpectedly dry up. **End Summary** Topics: majority Britons poor monetary condition new figures show fail shop around cheap loans mortagges
About the Author:
Tom Dawson is the Editor in Chief for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for cheap loans online .

Drivers 'Look To Get Cars With Low Running Costs'

An increasing number of motorists are looking to buy cheap-to-run cars, new research shows.

In a study carried out by AA Personal Loans, the percentage of those wanting to get a compact vehicle that will not put too much pressure on their finances to run has surged by some 43 per cent. The company claims that such desires come as fuel prices have surpassed the 1 pound per litre mark. However, with such costs predicted to rise even further, more people could find that petrol expenses will strain other areas of spending related to their automobile, for instance getting repairs done or paying back the loan taken to fund the purchase of the vehicle in the first place.

The research showed that the proportion of Britons intending to get a super mini car, such as a Renault Clio or Nissan Micra, has risen dramatically over the course of 2007 to currently stand at just under 15 per cent. Meanwhile, a fifth of those between the ages of 45 and 54 state that they want to purchase such a vehicle. Findings from the financial services firm also revealed that people from Yorkshire are most willing to buy this type of automobile. **End Summary** Topics: cheap.cars britons low running costs loans personal finance credit loan debt secured
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .
Loans Being Used To 'Finance Lifestyle'

An increasing number of Britons are borrowing money, a new study indicates.

In a report released by Standard Life Bank, it was suggested that the "marked increase" in wealth over the past few years has been equalled by a similar growth in borrowing. As a result, the total amount owed via loans, store cards, overdrafts and other types of consumer borrowing now surpasses the 1.35 trillion pounds mark. Findings from the firm also indicated that credit is most often taken out by those between the ages of 20 and 50, in particular at times when people are struggling to manage their finances while raising a family.

The study also revealed that young people are increasingly prepared to apply for a loan or look to other means of borrowing to help maintain a certain standard of living. Meanwhile, many parents often feel under pressure to meet their childrens' needs.

In addition, the report indicated that the amount of money owed by those looking towards credit has risen over recent years. However, the proportion of those with "heavy" usage of loans, store cards and other forms of borrowing is still stated to make up a "tiny minority". **End Summary** Topics: Britons borrowing more money credit finance debts loans debt consolidation personal secured loan uk
About the Author:
Tom Dawson is the Editor in Chief for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for cheap loans online .

Consumers Urged To Avoid 'Debt Hangover'

With Christmas just over three weeks away, consumers are being advised to take steps to make sure that they avoid coming under increased financial pressure.

According to Citizens Advice, there is an increase in the level of those struggling with their money in the wake of the festive period. Following last Christmas, the advisory service claims that many people got into arrears on loans and hire purchase agreements, as well as struggling to manage catalogue and mail order debts. In addition, Britons were reported to be developing problems with overdrafts and money owed on credit cards.

As a result, the advisory service, in conjunction with Barclaycard, has issued a number of tips to help Britons avoid a "Christmas debt hangover". One thing consumers are advised to do is to plan their spending for the yuletide period early and make a budget setting out how much they are to spend on each person. However despite the festivities, people were advised that everyday expenses, such as utility bills, rent, council tax, loans and other existing debts still need to be met during this time of year. Should this not happen, Citizens Advice warned that "the consequences can be severe". **End Summary** Topics: take stpes to avoid financial pressure christmas shop around presents loans personal loan credit uk
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for personal loans online, and also focuses on secured loans for UK residents.
Basement Renovations 'Add Both Space And Value To A Property'

Refurbishing a basement can be an effective way for homeowners to increase the amount of space they have in their homes, an industry expert has reported.

According to Alan Tovey, director of the Basement Information Centre, getting such renovation work done can not only contribute an extra room to people's property but also boost the value of their home. He added that such a move could be particularly useful for those with a small garden who wish to increase the amount of space in their home. By getting an extension above ground level, the director reported that consumers will discover that they will have "virtually no garden" and could well end up decreasing the value of their home.

However, by fitting an underground basement, beneath the garden, it was suggested that homeowners can not only keep their outdoor space but have also more room indoors, with a home loan one possible way of funding such work. He also claimed that renovated basements are often used for a variety of purposes such as a wine cellar, games room or an extra bedroom. **End Summary** Topics: basement refurbishing adds value property homeowner loans chaep home improvement secured personal uk
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for cheap secured loans online , we also specialise in poor credit loans , and tenant loans for UK residents.
Monetary Pressures Can 'Strain' A Relationship

More consumers are preparing themselves for the strain their finances will see over the Christmas period, according to new figures.

In research conducted by Engage Mutual, 88 per cent of the Britons who share their finances with a partner state that they are willing to make monetary sacrifices to keep up a certain standard of living for their significant other. The study revealed that about one out of five are ready to work extra hours in order to provide their loved ones with the things that they want. Meanwhile, just under a third (30 per cent) are looking to cut back on buying luxuries for themselves, with the taking out of a loan another possible way in which to help them to give what their partner wants.

The survey also indicated that seven per cent of those in a relationship would be willing to borrow money, whether this be through a cheap personal loan, credit card or other means, to support their partners' wishes. Meanwhile, some 21 per cent state that they are prepared to withdraw funds out of a savings account.

In addition, findings from the firm revealed that men are most likely to make financial sacrifices. **End Summary** Topics: financial strain over christmas set to increase adding pressure relationships credit finance loans
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .
Getting Adequate Financial Advice Is 'Vital'

The majority of consumers are relying on their loved ones when it comes to getting financial advice, new research shows.

In a study carried out by Birmingham Midshires as part of its Not So Average Joe campaign, the old adage "it's not what you know, it's who you know" is reported to still hold relevance for many people in terms of getting help with fiscal matters. About two-thirds of Britons (63 per cent) claim that they will trust a person offering guidance on money matters, whether this relates to personal loans or mortgages, if they have first been recommended by a friend or family member. Meanwhile, some 44 per cent of those surveyed state that they are likely to listen to a financial adviser if they or the company that they represent has been regulated by the government or a statutory body.

Research from the financial services firm also showed that 37 per cent of consumers will take into account a recommendation by a fellow professional when choosing who to trust, while just over a quarter (26 per cent) base their decision on the qualifications that an adviser has. **End Summary** Topics: professional advice essential financial finance loans mortgages secured homeowner personal loan debt
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for cheap secured loans online , we also specialise in poor credit loans , and tenant loans for UK residents.
'Understanding' Is Key To Avoiding Financial Problems

Those concerned about their capacity to manage money should at first take steps to "do some groundwork", an industry expert has advised.

According to James Falla, managing director of Thomas Charles, Britons who are developing problems in meeting demands for payment on areas such as mortgages, loans and utility bills need to take the time to consider the various options available to them as they look to get out of the red. He stated that before making a decision on how get back on their financial feet - whether this is through applying for a loan to consolidate debts, bankruptcy, an individual voluntary arrangement or signing up for an informal debt management plan - consumers should attempt to find out where they stand in a monetary sense. Creating such a plan, he stated, will allow people to identify how much cash they have coming in and where certain areas of expenditure can be reduced. Mr Falla added that by understanding their own situation, many people will be able to recognise the best option for them and could actually avoid getting into money management problems in the first place. **End Summary** Topics: knowledge financial required fiance loans secured personal loan credit cheap low cost debts
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for secured loans online , we also specialise in bad credit loans for UK residents.
Brit Budgets 'Run Out Before Payday'

Many Britons' budgets are stretched to the limit in the current climate -a fact once again demonstrated by new figures from Abbey today.

The banking services and mortgage provider has published the results of research suggesting that more than six in ten people struggle to make ends meet on a monthly basis. As many as 64 per cent of respondents to the firm's survey stated that they are forced to make sacrifices in the lead up to payday as they run out of funds in their current accounts. With such strains on their finances as mortgage repayments, mobile phone and landline bills, utility bills and other demands to meet, the average current account is empty around five days before paycheques replenish them.

And at this time of year, still higher numbers are likely to need to make monetary sacrifices to see themselves through the Christmas period. Abbey calculates that, with most workers being paid on the last day of the month, funds in November are likely to reach zero on the 25th. **End Summary** Topics: britons running out of money before pay day consolidate debts secured debt consolidation loans
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for personal loans online, and also focuses on secured loans for UK residents.

As the winter months approach now could be a good time for many Britons to consider carrying out improvement work in their garden, an industry expert has stated.

According to Ceri Thomas, editor of Gardening Which?, the now unpredictable weather could mean that many homeowners could find themselves cutting their lawn "in the middle of December". Consequently, she reported that such conditions may provide an ideal opportunity for people to get out into their gardens to prepare them for the colder months. The gardening expert claimed that "quite a lot of plants that do look good now", suggesting that the likes of hardy cyclamen, dogwoods with colourful bark and witch hazel make for attractive winter decorations.

In addition, she reported that filling a container with flowers such as violas and pansies can also bring colour to gardens, with a competitively-priced homeowner loan one possible way of meeting the cost of such property improvements. **End Summary** Topics: improvements garden increase property value homeowner loans cheap finance credit loan
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .
Consumers 'Still Need To Organise Finances During Christmas'

The true cost of Christmas for many consumers is falling, according to a new set of findings.

In research carried out by Halifax Unsecured Personal Loans, based on the Retail Price Index categories from the Office of National Statistics, the price of numerous items usually bought over the festive period has fallen during the past year. Leading such decreases are toys, in which the cost of such products has gone down by six per cent, while jewellery and turkey has each seen a one per cent price fall. Furthermore CDs, socks and woolly jumpers have both decreased by two percentage points. As a result of such price decreases, a number of Britons may find the financial pressure they face in the approach to the festive period diminishing, thus leaving them in a more capable position to meet other demands on their spending such as loans, utility bills and plastic cards.

However, it was not all good news, as the real price of books has gone up by two percentage points, with confectionery posting an increase of one per cent. **End Summary** Topics: true cost of christmas decreasing consumers still need manage finances loans secured personal credit
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for secured personal loans online , we also specialise in bad credit secured loans for UK residents.

An increasing number of Britons are becoming worried about their ability to manage their finances, new research reveals.

In the debt index study conducted by MoneyExpert, more than a tenth (11 per cent) of those people owing money were "very concerned" about their capacity to make repayments on their borrowing, whether through personal loans, credit cards or other means, in the three months leading up to the end of October. The equivalent of some 3.4 million consumers, this proportion of people represents a rise of four per cent of those experiencing major monetary problems from the same study carried out by the price comparison website three months ago.

Research from the company also reveals that one in four (25 per cent) Britons remain "concerned" about their level of debt between August and October, an increase of one percentage point from the preceding quarterly period. Meanwhile, an estimated 2.7 million consumers believe that they have gone at least ten per cent further into the red over the course of the last three months. **End Summary** Topics: consumers concerned about ability manage finances debt consolidation loans cheap save money credit
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .
Consumers Are 'Not Ready To Tighten Purse Strings'

Britons are set to spend an increasing amount of money this Christmas, new data shows.

In research conducted by Mintel, retail sales in the approach to the festive season are to be between two and three per cent higher than figures recorded in 2006. The study also reveals that a third of Britons believe that although their finances will come under more pressure during Christmas, they are still set to splash out during the period, with applying for a quick loan one possible way in which to meet such expenses.

In addition, findings from the company indicated that more people are set to use the internet as a means of purchasing festive gifts. Some 38 per cent of adults claim they will get a few items using the web, while about one in ten people will go online to buy most of their presents. And with more than half (52 per cent) of British households having broadband access, using the internet to get a loan online could be helpful for those looking to supplement their spending. **End Summary** Topics: spending christmas set to increase loans low cost cheap secured personal loans compares uk loans
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .
'Silver Lining' For Retirees In 2008

Those Britons due to retire next year are on track to enjoy a bright financial future, according to new research.

In a study carried out by Prudential, the average age of those consumers retiring in 2008 will be 60 and 58 for men and women respectively. Findings from the company also indicated that a quarter of people retiring early next year will do so because they can afford to. Meanwhile, 22 per cent are stopping work because they have reached the statutory age for retirement. However, as the actual statutory ages for giving up work are 65 and 60 for women respectively, such people appear to have got their finances in a strong enough shape that they have managed to save enough money for retirement as well as meeting other demands on their spending such as personal loans and utility bills.

The research also showed that 33 per cent of women retiring next year will be over the age of 60, while just over one in ten men (11 per cent) will be more than 65. **End Summary** Topics: financial future looks rosy for retirees in 2008 good final salary pension schemes loans credit debt
About the Author:
Tom Dawson is the Editor in Chief for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for cheap loans online .
Reviewing Spending Is 'Crucial' To Managing Finances

Thousands of Britons could be set to take their initial steps towards getting to grips with their finances later this week, it has been suggested.

The news comes as Axa officially launches My Budget Day this upcoming Wednesday (November 21st), which will see employers give their staff an hour off during their working day to manage and plan their finances. And with an estimated 250,000 people set to take part in the event, many consumers could find that taking such time may help them to manage their money better and get into a more advantageous position to make repayments on loans, utility bills, mortgages and other sources of financial demand.

Meanwhile, research carried out by the firm earlier this year revealed that just under half (49 per cent) of business leaders would consider giving their staff regular time to manage their money. In turn, Axa claimed that even more people could be able to handle their finances better in coming months. **End Summary** Topics: britons getting to grips with their finances cred debts secure personal debt consolidation loan
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .

People are increasingly being secretive about their monetary situation, new research has revealed.

According to research conducted by Cater Allen Private Bank, just under a third (30 per cent) of Britons are currently hiding a financial secret from their partner, whether this relates to having a hidden current account or applying for a personal loan without their knowledge. However, people from the south-west and Wales are the most truthful in terms of being honest about their finances.

In addition, findings from the financial services firm indicated that about half of people have lied to a loved one about how much a purchase has cost them. Cater Allen also reported that 28 per cent of males have lied about the cost of a gadget, while a similar proportion (27 per cent) of women have told a mistruth about how much they have spent on clothes. Overall, those between the ages of 25 to 34 are revealed to be the most likely to withhold financial details from their partners, with a secret stash of cash being their most popular form of deception. **End Summary** Topics: people secretive about money finances personal loans secured finance credit loan
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for secured personal loans online , we also specialise in bad credit secured loans for UK residents.
Brits 'Planning Ahead' For Spending During Christmas

With about a quarter of Britons moving house doing so over the Christmas season, consumers are being advised to be conscious of the impact that this can have on their finances, it has been suggested.

In the Movingimproving Index released by Alliance & Leicester, just under one in four (22 per cent) homemovers get the keys for a new property in the 12 weeks leading up to December 25th. Meanwhile, some eight per cent of people state that they are prepared to move during the last month of the year, despite the financial services firm claiming that this is often a time of year when consumers are planning parties and buying presents. And despite the financial stress that both moving and the festive season can bring, the majority of people seem to be able to manage various aspects of their money across areas such as savings, purchasing Christmas presents or paying back personal loans.

According to the firm, over half (53 per cent) of those settling into a new home before December 25th claim that the expense of relocating did not impact upon their festive spending. **End Summary** Topics: moving home over christmas can impact on finances credit loans secured personal finance bad credit
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for secured personal loans online , we also specialise in bad credit secured loans for UK residents.
People 'Need To Think Carefully' About Finances

Britons' financial difficulties are set to increase over the course of the coming months, an industry expert has reported.

According to Chris Tapp, director of Credit Action, the series of base rate rises actioned by the Bank of England since August last year has caused many people's finances to come under more pressure as a result of the subsequent increase in interest rates attached to borrowing products such as personal loans and credit cards. He added that such fiscal difficulties have also been exacerbated "a bit" on the part of financial services providers who are attempting to recoup some of the money lost via bad debt by becoming stricter with lending criteria.

In turn, Mr Tapp reported that with the festive season rapidly approaching, unless consumers begin to take steps to rein in their expenditure now they could find themselves coming under increasing monetary difficulties by the time the new year approaches. This led the director of the financial charity to urge people to draw up a budget, thus allowing them to identify how much money they are bringing in each month and where it is being spent. **End Summary** Topics: financial problems difficulties set to increase rein in finance loans credit consolidation debts
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for secured loans online , we also specialise in bad credit loans for UK residents.

Older people in one southern town are increasingly struggling to manage their finances, it has been suggested.

According to the branch of Citizens Advice in Redhill, an increasing number of over-50s from the Surrey town are developing money management difficulties. The advisory service reports that such people are using cash from their winter heating allowances to purchase luxury items such as Christmas presents for their grandchildren, reports the Redhill and Reigate Life. It was claimed that as a result of unwise spending, such residents often find themselves struggling to pay off personal loans, utility bills, mortgages and other areas of financial demands in the weeks following the festive season.

Overall, the Citizens Advice branch is currently handling enquiries from Redhill residents who are about 3 million pounds in total in the red through unsecured loans, overdrafts and other means. Meanwhile, consumers in Horley come to the office with debts totaling 400,000 pounds.

In addition, the advisory service pointed out that February always sees an increase in the number of people struggling with credit card and loan repayments as the impact of excessive Christmas spending comes back to haunt them. **End Summary** Topics: older people strugling with finances southern town debts bad credit debt consolidation loans loan uk
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans .
Rise In Inflation Pressures For All Brits

Consumers of all ages are facing a rise in financial difficulties, new figures indicate.

According to data published by the Alliance Trust, the official rate of inflation increased higher than expected to stand at 2.1 per cent over the course of October. However, the firm reports that in actuality Britons from all age groups are suffering inflation higher than headline figures. The first time this has happened since June 2007, such a rise in living costs could well see the majority of Britons struggle to meet demands for payment on utility bills, rent, personal loans and other areas of financial constraint.

The centre asserted that the rise in the nation's financial difficulties was a result of a surge in food and oil prices over the course of October. During the month, food inflation went up by 5.1 per cent - the highest figure noted for six months. In particular such increases are said to impact upon elderly people the most, as vegetable and bread rises have gone up by eight and five per cent respectively. Meanwhile, oils, dairy products and fats all rose by over 11 per cent. **End Summary** Topics: rise in inflation causing financial probelms for everybody secured personal loans credit debts loan
About the Author:
Tom Dawson is the Editor in Chief for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for cheap loans online .
An increasing number of consumers in Brighton and Hove are developing problems in managing their money, new figures show.

According to research conducted by the government, the Sussex city is currently in the midst of a credit crunch in which residents are finding themselves increasingly unable to afford to make repayments on personal loans, plastic cards and other types of borrowing. The news comes as the proportion of people from Brighton and Hove who are declaring themselves bankrupt has risen by 15 per cent over the course of just three months. Between August and October those filing for voluntary bankruptcy stood at 470, increasing from the 401 recorded from May to July, reports the Argus. This compares to countrywide figures revealing a five per cent drop in those filing for bankruptcy during the same period of time.

Meanwhile, research from auditors KPMG indicates the typical consumer from the south-east filing for bankruptcy owes some 50,828 pounds via loans, overdrafts and numerous other means of credit. Those looking towards individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs) are an average of 48,666 pounds in the red. Overall, there are more than 7,000 bankrupts and 2,200 IVAs throughout Sussex. **End Summary** Topics: brighton hit hardest by credit crunch financial difficulties problems loans debts credit finance
About the Author:
Tom Dawson writes for Essentially Home Loans where visitors can apply for secured personal loans online , we also specialise in bad credit secured loans for UK residents.
