What's The Best Trumpet?

What’s the Best Trumpet?

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The same goes with what musicians consider as the best trumpet.

In this case, the beauty of a trumpet depends on the ears of the beholder and the audience. The best trumpet for a musician can be considered a matter of perspective.

For some musicians, the best trumpet could be made of brass; the best can be colored black, gold or silver; some musicians consider piston valve trumpets to be the best as opposed to rotary valves. Musicians also consider a particular brand of trumpet to be the best and wouldn’t play anything else.

The best trumpet can also be determined by general point of view and not just the whim of the musician. The Bb trumpet is the best trumpet for students who want to learn playing trumpets. Gold or silver colored trumpets are best used for special occasions and C trumpets are the best trumpet for orchestral performances. **End Summary** Topics: best trumpet trumpet trumpets bb trumpet c trumpet piccolo pocket trumpet king trumpet monette trumpet yamaha trumpet bach trumpet
About the Author:
Discover the best trumpet for you at http://www.best-trumpet.com - Trumpet articles, reviews, videos and trumpets for sale.

The Run-Away Voice

Where is it going?

If you have been unfortunate enough to be around me lately, I must have driven you crazy when we watch the television and encounter someone speaking off her vocal cords- usually resulting in a harsh and dry, hoarse and airy, "floaty" tone. I immediately grab my throat, cover my ears, or utter a sound indicating my at-the-moment low tolerance level - or, all of the above! You wonder, as you quickly push the TV remote to change the channel, "What's the big deal?"

The big deal is that I know the voice- I know how to use it as a classically-trained singer, which I have been doing professionally for some 20 years. On top of that, in my "day-time job as a director of a sales&marketing company," I used my speaking voice as the means of making a living through giving speeches & lectures, and teaching for many years. I am aware of the voice, and the voice knows who its boss is! **End Summary** Topics: speaking voice singing voice vocal cords vocal rest voice damaged vocal damaged
About the Author:
http://www.la-coffee-melodie-suite.com/coremelody.html Pradichaya Poonyarit is a performing artist whose career goal is not performing at the Metropolitan Opera.
What's happened to the voices of today?

We are in a new age of media and provided with more than a handful of reality shows, such as reality cooking, reality singing, reality looking for future spouses, and all sorts of reality dramas (huh?) for our nightly entertainment.

My topic is not about "voices" as used in politics and/or the right to do something we believe, nor is it about voicing my opinion of any particular reality show (although, should I go that route, there would be a series of articles on that topic, alone). Instead, I am here today to address a health issue. Its importance is not generally recognized, however, and because it is has to do with something that everyone across the nation and globe does naturally, it is quite alarming. Such lack of awareness often leads to a failure to give proper attention and care; and, in the long run, this can potentially become a risk factor.

I am referring to the use of one's voice, the end product of the employment of various important body processes, which involves varying the speed of one's air exhalation and using various muscles, making possible person-to-person communication. Without the voice we will not be heard. **End Summary** Topics: speaking voice vocal fatigue vocal damage singing speaking voice voice technique vocal training
About the Author:
http://www.la-coffee-melodie-suite.com/coremelody.html - Pradichaya Poonyarit is a performing artist whose career goal is not performing at the Metropolitan Opera.
How to Conduct an Interview So You Pick a Winner Every Time!

Are you a smart manager? I bet you are!

Are you being smart in the interview process? Do you REALLY know how to conduct an interview so you pick a winner every time? Not sure?

Test yourself by answering these questions with a yes or no:

1. When interviewing candidates I usually talk 50-75% of the time. Yes or No?
2. I am very supportive, engaging and encouraging to candidates when interviewing them. I make sure they feel good about their answers. Yes or No?
3. I never push the candidate for clarification if they give vague answers, I don't want to be too tough. Yes or No?

If you answered Yes to any of these questions, you may want to improve your interview style. What you are currently doing in the interview may hinder your ability to pick winners every time.

Smart managers have strong product knowledge. You know the company and you work well with others. You ARE smart. That is why you were promoted to leadership.

But many very smart managers do not know how to conduct an interview. **End Summary** Topics: how to conduct an interview employer interview tips how to hire the right person leadership skills
About the Author:
Suzie Price is a Facilitator and Publisher of WakeUpEager.com - she provides resources for leaders who want to Wake Up Eager.

Leadership Characteristics - What Every Leader Ought to Be Doing.

Out of all the leadership characteristics that are key to success, this one lands at the top of the list as most important:

Taking Personal Responsibility for Your Actions and Celebrating Successes.

In over 6,800 position descriptions executives list Personal Accountability as crucial to superior performance.

"Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibility...In the final analysis, the one quality that all successful people have is the ability to take on responsibility." ---Michael Korda, Editor-in-Chief, Simon & Schuster

It can be empowering to 'own up' to all the good you've created AND any and all the issues. When you're not spending any time covering up and defending problems, you can create faster forward movement toward solutions.

How Do You Know? How do you know if you're strong or not strong in this most important of all leadership characteristics?

I have noticed, and maybe you have seen it too, people who ace the leadership characteristics of taking personal responsibility and celebrating success, often believe they need to improve.

And, on the flip-side, people who aren't very good at taking responsibility often think they are! **End Summary** Topics: eadership characteristics taking personal responsibility for your actions personal accountability leadership development wake up eager
About the Author:
Written by Suzie Price, of wakeupeager.com

How to build a computer

Although many people would probably have you believe that a whole lot of magic happens before you buy a computer. It really doesn't. Of all the computers on the market today, I can honestly say, for a home computer, I'd prefer not to use any of them.

Most of the prebuilt computers lack a couple of things that set it apart from a custom build computer. The amount of research on components is usually very lacking and it shows on the performance of the components in the computer. The best lesson with all of this is prebuilt computers aren't junk, but, you will always get what you pay for.

That all being said, what do you need to spend to build a computer that really shines and performs the way you want it to? The answer is one you'll like, whatever you want. The big difference here is choosing components that perform, are backup by a name. How to do this isn't a mystery, but many people don't know how to do it, or even where to start. **End Summary** Topics: build your own computer build a gaming computer build a cheap computer build video editing computer building the perfect pc
About the Author:
I am a computer builder and user of about 17 years.
Quick Weight Loss: Why It Is Not Working For You.

When dealing with quick weight loss education is so important because there are two fundamental problems that need to be solved. One is to lose weight, the other is to keep it off. And when you understands enough about the causes of weight gain or why their body is not metabolizing their body fat, you do much much better over the long-term.

One of the keys is to understand the real reasons for weight gain in today’s world. It is much more than calories. There are more health imbalances today than ever before and if this is not understood you are guaranteed to gain the weight back.

Despite encouraging unhealthy fad diets there are legitimate benefits to quick weight loss.

For most, the focus is on immediate and quick weight loss. The drawbacks here are that it is short term and the diets and methods used can also often cause a person to get even fatter, more tired and more sick later on.

If a person only focuses on longer-term weight loss, and if they do it right, they will feel better and have a generally more healthy body, however, the slowness can cause a lot of attrition. **End Summary** Topics: quick weight loss plan quick weight loss natural weight loss
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan.
HCG Diet Mistakes

There are some mistakes that people make that stop the HCG diet from working or from keeping the weight loss permanent.

HCG works at very high percentage of the time. When it does not I have found there are common reasons. When the weight comes back on I have found there are common reasons for that. They all get resolved once those reasons are found.

HCG not working. When someone is on the HCG diet and it is not working, here are the different things I have found.

The source of HCG is a problem. There are many sources of sublingual hcg and less of the injection hcg. Find one that has proven consistent with quality. This has resolved the inability for HCG to work.

Other times it is not so much that the HCG did not work but it was so inconsistent. There were long plateaus. In this case I had the person get a reputable source of HCG and also using HCG injections instead of sublingual. This causes less missed HCG doses and less in consistency. With the HCG injections there is one dose a day in the morning and that is it. **End Summary** Topics: hcg diet hcg diet weight loss weight loss hcg pounds and inches
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan.
HCG Diet: People Gain The Weight Back

Is the HCG Diet is panacea for weight loss? Does it really work as advertised?

In short yes and not really.

Yes it is quite normal to lose weight consistently on a daily basis with HCG. The success rate in that regard is very high.

However there are two points that people will not hear about regularly. People still gain weight back after taking HCG. This is important to know. This negates the use of the HCG diet in the first place.

How do I know this? Because when people fill out my form as a new client I ask what else have they tried to do to lose weight and they say “the HCG diet! But they gained the weight back.

The HCG diet is supposed to be a solution to permanent weight loss where it does not come back given reasonable diet and exercise. It was originally a solution to obesity.

This does not happen to everyone but it obviously does happen and that is too bad. These people start to think HCG does not work when it actually does. The problem is that people really do not know what causes weight gain in the first place. **End Summary** Topics: hcg diet hcg diet weight loss weight loss hcg
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan.
Site Build It - The Pros and Cons

If you have been looking on the internet for ways to make money online you are not alone. Thousands of people are searching for the internet "pot of gold" every day.

As you probably have seen, there are also thousands of "Get-Rich-Quick" sites advertising their "Secret Formula for Success," with a long sales page full of praise for their product, and a "special discount" if you ORDER IT TODAY!!

Unfortunately most of these sites are mass produced by very good sales people who are selling dreams, not reality. Like many others, I have been duped by these sites and bought into their hype.

I kept looking though, and came across "Site Build It", an all-in-one website building package. I have been using this package for a while now and would like to share my experience and opinions about this product.

First of all, this is no get-rich-scheme. When you buy this package ($299) you are buying yourself a bunch of hard work. You are also getting in my opinion a top-notch product and an education on how to succeed in the online world. **End Summary** Topics: site build it get rich quick website building package keyword research build a website
About the Author:
Gordon Angrignon is a sea-urchin diver from Cumberland, British Columbia on Vancouver Island.
A Low Fat Diet Prevents Weight Loss

A low fat diet will not cause you to lose weight over the long term. It will prevent your weight loss. Not all fat is the same. Some fat will actually cause you to lose weight and get healthy.

There was a time that the solution for getting healthy and losing weight was to remove fat from the diet. This was supposed cause a person to lose weight and lose body fat. This never worked over the long-term. At best it causes a temporary loss of body fat.

There are three categories of fats:

Unsaturated fats, saturated fats, and trans fats. Trans fats are also called hydrogenated fats. You will see these on the labels on foods.

When you look at a nutritional label you will see it say how many calories of fat there are and also the weight of fat in grams per serving.

When you look at the information about weight, you will see a separation between the different fats. This will give you the information on how much of the different fats there are.

Here is the thing to know, unsaturated fats are good for you. They also cause you to lose weight. **End Summary** Topics: low fat diet low fat diets unsaturated fats weight loss trans fat
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan and I am a Certified Nutritional Consultant.
Can Stress Cause Hives?

Chronic stress can cause many things to go awry with the body, including hives.

From a physiological perspective, the stress response, or the "fight or flight" response, is a very fascinating part of how our brain functions.

The fight or flight response is the automatic alert system of our brain and its main function is to help us survive...to protect us. This system gets activated in response to a stressor. Its stress response is the bodies way of adapting to something that has happened...a way to adapt to the stressors of life.

Hives are usually experienced as red or white bumps on top of the skin, itchy, or a sting. What is known about hives is that they usually appear suddenly, but how long they last is less certain. Some hives disappear just as quickly as they appeared, and some may last for weeks.

Just as with many conditions that are brought on by chronic stress, most people do not realize that our skin is an organ. And, its basic job is to protect us from environmental stressors like bacteria and infection. For many, hives are an allergic reaction to something experienced in the environment. **End Summary** Topics: can stress cause hives stress management reducing stress chronic stress stress relaxation techniques how to relieve stress
About the Author:
I have been a stress management consultant for over 15 years.
The Truth About Ab Workouts

There are two exercises that people gravitate towards to lose weight - some form of running/jogging/walking and abdominal exercises.

This is also particularly true when a person is trying to get rid of belly fat.

I want to clarify this for people because ab workouts are one of the poorest fat burning exercises when you are trying to lose weight!

When It Is Useful:

The only time it is really useful is in three occasions:

You are an athlete and trying to improve performance. Most of my clients are not athletes. They are regular people that cannot lose weight.

The other reason is if you are in some kind of physical rehabilitation and need to do abdominal exercises to rehabilitate.

You are a fitness model or body-builder that is trying to increase definition and develop the musculature of their midsection for this purpose.

When It Comes to Weight Loss:

But for weight loss, ab workouts will not give you much result.

Especially when you compare it with the exercises I will lay out for you. **End Summary** Topics: ab workouts best ab exercises belly fat best ab workout natural weight loss
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan and I am a Certified Nutritional Consultant.
A History Of Diabetes

"A history of diabetes can help yo understand its origins and its current therapy."

Most of my natural weight loss clients have diabetes. I am also getting at least one email a week of someone saying their child has diabetes. Most of the time the current treatment of diabetes prohibits weight loss. Because of this I have to resolve the diabetes first.

Sometimes my natural weight loss clients are concerned because what I do is so different from what is accepted as "therapy" for diabetes. So I am writing about the history of diabetes to get an overview of how diabetes treatment
was developed.

History of Diabetes: Origins

The term diabetes was coined by the physician Aretaeus of Cappadocia. It was derived from the Greek verb, diabaínein, itself formed from the prefix dia-, "across, apart," and the verb bainein, "to walk, stand."

The verb diabeinein meant "to stride, walk, or stand with legs asunder"; hence, its derivative diabÄ"tÄ"s meant "one that straddles," or specifically "a compass, siphon." The sense "siphon" gave rise to the use of diabÄ"tÄ"s as the name for a disease involving the discharge of excessive amounts of urine. **End Summary** Topics: history of diabetes natural weight loss childhood diabetes type one diabetes
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan and I am a Certified Nutritional Consultant (CNC) and Holistic Health Practitioner.
Home Cardio Workouts

Do you want to know the secret to regular home cardio workouts?

Do you want more workout inspiration and motivation?

I've discovered a method that really works. It might not be what you expect.

The secret to regular home cardio workouts and workout inspiration is:

Choose to PULL, not PUSH.

Let me explain. I'll demonstrate how to choose PULL, not PUSH with an example from my own life.

One early Spring weekend I went to my closet to pull on my favorite jean shorts from last Summer.

They're always soooo comfortable AND they look cute on me.

I pulled them on but they were skin tight and I could barely button them. That's not how they fit last summer!

Panic started to set in.

"I've gained weight! I must get back to my home cardio workouts, NOW!"

If I use the usual, here's-what-most-people-do-and-think, PUSH method for workout inspiration, here's what I start to think:

"I can’t believe my pants don’t fit. I can’t believe I am so slack. I hate this."

"I'm so mad at myself for getting this way. Damn I know better. Damn, Damn. Damn. **End Summary** Topics: home cardio workouts workout inspiration
About the Author:
For more home cardio workouts tips and overall life and work inspiration tips and insights visit the Wake Up Eager website at http://www.pricelessprofessional.com/home-cardio-workouts.html

Why Interval Training For Natural Weight Loss

Interval training is the best way to exercise for anti-aging natural weight loss.

It is a type of physical training that involves bursts of high intensity work. This high intensity work is alternated with periods of rest or low activity.

The term can mean any workout (e.g. cycling, running, rowing, etc.) that involves brief bouts at near-maximum exertion alternating with parts of low to no intensity.

Interval training is often practiced by long distance runners. Sprinters and footballers have also been known to use this type of training.

Some Examples of Interval Training

Distance runners often practice interval training on tracks, running hard at a certain pace for a specified distance (or, less often, time) and jogging, walking, or resting for a set distance or time before the next speed burst. Distances can also vary; one example would be a "ladder" workout consisting of a 1600-meter, two 1200-meter, three 800-meter, and four 400-meter repetitions, each at an appropriate speed and with an appropriate amount of recovery. **End Summary** Topics: interval training natural weight loss fat loss growth hormone anti-aging
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan.
Diabetes Cure: Simple and Real

This article is about a diabetes cure. Though I focus on permanent and natural weight loss many clients come to me because they have diabetes and the doctor told them they need to lose weight. Also, many more are coming to me because they found out their children have diabetes and the doctor told them to lose weight.

The current medical establishment regards diabetes as incurable. They say there is no diabetes cure. This is correct only if people keep eating the foods they are and are continually exposed to toxic elements that contribute to diabetes.

Without enough knowledge as to what causes diabetes, it can seem there is no diabetes cure.
Currently, the medical establishment advise to use some form of the glycemic index to keep blood sugar low and to get more exercise. The problem I have with this is that it is a coping mechanism. It is not addressing the root of diabetes.

That means it is not addressing why insulin is being stopped from going into the cells in a diabetes type 2 condition or why insulin is not being produced by the pancreas in a Diabetes type 1 condition. **End Summary** Topics: diabetes cure cure for diabetes natural diabetes cure diabetes diet insulin resistance type 1 diabetes
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan.

These toddlers activities are great fun for you and them to enjoy together. They are a great way of spending time together teaching your little one new things while all the time having a great time. So take a look and see what things I recommend you can do with your toddler.

Toddler Stories

Even really young kids love story time. They can interact with you during the storytelling and look at the pictures.
If you have not discovered yet you soon will that you can never read too many stories to a toddler. In fact they love
to read the same story over and over again. They discover new things about the same stories each time they listen.

You can also make up stories about people and places they know. Get them to tell part of the story as you go along. Some stories are best read at certain times of the day. So it goes without saying scary stories about the "Big bad wolf" are not for bedtime.

Musical activities for kids

Kids love making noise (sorry mean music) at any time of the day. They love to get involved in making simple musical
instruments. **End Summary** Topics: easy crafts for kids free toddler games free print coloring pages storytelling tips music activities for kids toddler learning activities
About the Author:
Find out more about these toddlers activities and many more fun things for toddlers to do and enjoy here at http://www.toddler-activities-and-tips.com/toddlers-activities.html

The glycemic index is a more well known term than the glycemic load. With the rise in diabetes and the subsequent need to control insulin, the glycemic index was created to study the speed at which food converts to glucose in the blood.

The more glucose is created the greater the need for insulin.

Prior to the use of the glycemic index, carbs were evaluated based on their chemical structure and so were divided into, simple carbs and complex carbs. The idea was that the "complex" carbs would break down to sugar slower in the body and provide more “even” energy. “Simple” carbs were carbs that converted to glucose very quickly and caused a sugar spike.

This led to the use of "simple and complex carbs" being questioned as a valid use of evaluating food.

What this meant for weight loss was that the slower the carb converted to sugar, the less fat would be formed.

The problem was that some complex carbs were found to raise blood sugar as fast as simple carbs or faster.

The glycemic index and the glycemic index chart was then developed. **End Summary** Topics: glycemic load glycemic index glycemic load chart glycemic index diet low glycemic index foods glycemic index chart
About the Author:
http://www.natural-weight-loss-myths-revealed.com/glycemic-index.html

How to Choose a Career: Know What You Like and Live It

My dog Oscar knows what he likes and he love to live it.

When he gets to do his favorite things like getting a treat, going for a ride, walking in the park or playing with his best dog buddy Benji -- he wags his tail like crazy and acts like he just won the lottery!

What would our lives be like if we got to do our favorite things every day?

What if our work was such a good match to what we like and care about that we woke up eager and couldn’t wait to go to work?

I believe that it’s possible, but there’s one very simple (but big thing) that gets in the way, it’s what hurts us as we try to figure out how to choose a career: we get confused about what we like.

Here’s what I mean…

When Oscar is doing one of his favorite things: sniffing dog buddy Benji as they chase each other like Tasmanian devils, we ‘dog parents’ stand around and talk.

Right now most of the conversation is about how to choose a career for Karen, the youngest human in the family. **End Summary** Topics: how to find a career find a career motivation in the workplace workplace motivators
About the Author:
Suzie Price of wakeupeager.com provides tools and resources for people who want to wake up eager.
Causes of Obesity: High Fructose Corn Syrup

One of the hidden causes of obesity is high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).

It has already been proven that there is a direct correlation between high fructose corn syrup and insulin resistance and also obesity. Visceral fat is the cause of the metabolic syndrome. The metabolic syndrome is what leads to hormone imbalances, obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease.

But there is more to it.

Causes of Obesity: Insatiability

Studies have shown without any question that people, in general, are eating much more food every year. It is not just an increase in caloric intake and/or eating more high calorie foods. People are eating more poundage of food over time.

Why?

High fructose corn syrup is one of the main culprits. Within us, there are two hormones called leptin and ghrelin. Ghrelin is called the hunger hormone because it makes us hungry. Leptin is the opposite hormone. It is the hormone that makes us feel full.

High fructose corn syrup suppresses leptin production. Thus a person can consume food that has high fructose corn syrup and still feel very hungry.

High fructose corn syrup is in more and more food as the years go on. **End Summary** Topics: causes of obesity high fructose corn syrup hfcs obesity visceral fat metabolic syndrome
About the Author:
My name is Yegyan from http://www.natural-weight-loss-myths-revealed.com/obesity-help.html and I am a Nutritional Consultant and a Holistic Health Practitioner.
Low Work Motivation: What it Means When the Crafty Fox Visits Your Dreams…

Low work motivation and frustrating days of low energy and stress - stink.

When we are in it we hate it.

Low work motivation is troubling because deep within we know we are supposed to feel good about how we spend our time every day. When we do not feel good we either struggle with it or, if we can’t figure out what to do, we just give up.

If we know we are supposed to feel good about our work how do so many of us end up with low work motivation? And what can we do about it?

This story, about a visit from a bloody fox in the middle of the night, illustrates important insight about low motivation.

As you read it, see if you figure out what the fox represents…

1953 in Cambridge University:
It’s 2:00 in the morning. Student Ted Hughes is in his dorm room, sitting at his desk staring at a blank piece of paper. He’s frustrated beyond belief and he is worried.

He has an essay due in the morning that he has been trying to write for days. He’s lost all school and work motivation. **End Summary** Topics: work motivation workplace motivation motivation in the workplace low work motivation
About the Author:
Written by Suzie Price, of Wake Up Eager.
Childhood Obesity: The Shocking Truth

Childhood obesity is A New Problem. It Has Never Existed Before.

Obesity is an epidemic. Americans are dying of weight related conditions more than any other condition. The next highest cause of American deaths are cancer and then diabetes.

This is an alarming fact since it can be controlled by what we eat and by what we do with our bodies.

It is not like bubonic plague where an unknown virus or germ is sweeping across the country and causing illness and death.

But there is no more travesty than when childhood obesity, obesity in young children and child diabetes are now at their highest levels. Childhood obesity is now an official threat to the health of children.

In the age group of 6 - 19, 15 percent of them are considered clinically obese or overweight. This is according to the Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC). This equates to 9 million children.

In 1980, the number of children overweight and/or obese was 3 million. That is a third of the current number. **End Summary** Topics: childhood obesity obesity in children obese children obesity in young children dangers of childhood obesity causes of childhood obesity
About the Author:
Learn more at http://www.natural-weight-loss-myths-revealed.com/obesity-in-children.html.
